Absolutely Positively In Love
Birds soar over the lovely town of ponyville, down below ponies of all shapes and sizes laugh and play in the springtime sun.
A young Filly makes her way to the local park for the first time. All the fillies always love to play, but Minty is a bit different. She likes to play just like the rest of them, but none of the ponies want to play with her, she’s just so clumsy, and whenever she joins the games somebody ends up getting hurt.
She dashed over to the playground, excitement in her eyes, “Hey Everybody!” She shouted.
“Oh hi there Minty!” Sky Wishes greeted her.
“It’s a great day isn’t it?” Minty asked.
“It is quite a nice day, isn’t it.”
“Yeah! The grass is so green, and so are the trees, oh! And my socks are green too!” Minty smiled, holding up a hoof to show off her pretty socks.
“Minty!” A pony called, running over and pulling Minty into a big hug.
“Pinkie Pie!” Minty said excitedly, “what are we playing today?”
“We’re playing hopscotch!” Sky Wishes said, “You can play if you promise not to throw the pebble too hard.”
“I promise!” Minty said excitedly, running over to the other fillies who were playing.
“Morning Minty!” They called to her.
“Morning Scootaloo! Morning Rainbow Dash!”
“Good Morning Minty, how are you?” Another pony asked.
“Oh I’m doing just fantastic Kimono! How are you?”
“I’m doing good, are you gonna play hopscotch with us?” Kimono asked.
“Yes, and I promise on my favorite socks I’ll be careful this time!”
“Ready Minty?” Pinkie asks.
“I’m ready!”
“Here you go,” Pinkie Pie set a little pebble in Minty’s hoof, “now throw it, gently.”
Minty giggled tossing the rock, it bounced across the ground and hit the six square.
“Way to go Minty!” Pinkie said.
The other ponies cheered as Minty hopped down the squares.
“One, two three! Look at me! Four and five! And six!” Minty landed one hoof on the final square, “woah!” She lost her balance and toppled over, knocking right into Pinkie Pie.
“Oof!” Pinkie Pie exlaimed, pushed back by the little pony.
“Sorry Pinkie Pie!” Minty said sheepishly, “I didn’t mean to bump into you.”
“It’s alright Minty, I’m not hurt!” Pinkie Pie said with a laugh.
And the other ponies laughed too.
No pony really liked Minty, but everypony loved Pinkie Pie. Her smile was bright and her giggle so contagious. And she always came up with the very best games.
Luckily for Minty, Pinkie Pie liked her, so that meant that no one was super mean to her. At least, not when Pinkie was around.
Minty smiled, “I’m glad Pinkie Pie!” She said happily.
And so the ponies continued their games.
Pinkie Pie and Minty were friends
Absolutely Positively Friends
And no pony would argue with that.

“Open the door Minty!” Said Pinkie Pie, tapping all four hooves excitedly against the ground.
“Just give me one moment!” Minty called back, before opening the door not a minute later.
Pinkie Pie hugged her friend with a big bright smile, “Are you excited for the Super Duper Baking competition?”
Minty nodded happily, “I’m as ready as I’ll ever be!” She said with a giggle.
So the two set off, walking through the happy streets of Ponyville.
“Hello Pinkie Pie!” Said Cheerilee.
“Hello!” She replied.
“Hi there Pinkie Pie! How are you?” Asked Scootaloo.
“I’m doing great!” She smiled.
“Good morning Pinkie Pie,” said Kimono.
Everypony Liked Pinkie Pie.
“What are we going to make Minty?” Pinkie Pie asked.
And Pinkie Pie Liked Minty.
“Oh I don’t know, surely something with a bit of mint!” Minty said.
“And maybe some pink frosting?” Pinkie added.
“And topped with the most perfect Pinkiemint toppings!” They both said together. And the two ponies laughed all the way to the baking contest.
“Everyone to your baking stations!” Sweetberry calls and everypony starts moving.
Minty grabs peppermint, sugar, and vanilla.
Pinkie Pie grabs flour, pink coloring mix, and eggs.
Minty crushes peppermints and mixes the batter.
Pinkie measures ingredients and cracks eggs
Together the ponies pour the batter into their cupcake pan and they put it in the oven with a loving push.
Now Minty makes peppermint bark.
And Pinkie Pie prepares frosting.
And when the cupcakes are ready.
Ding!
The ponies pull them out and begin to decorate.
“A little frosting.” Says Pinkie.
“And a bit of Peppermint bark,” Minty adds.
“And together…” they say, “you get Pinkiemint Cupcakes!”
The two ponies set their cupcakes on the counter and turned to each other, laughing at bits of frosting and flour stuck to each other's fur.
When Sweetberry announced the winners Pinkie Pie and Minty had come second. And that was good enough for them.
Pinkie Pie and Minty were best friends.
Absolutely Positively Best Friends.
And no pony would argue with that.

Now it’s Christmas Eve, the here comes Christmas candy cane shines brightly on the beautiful Ponyville Christmas tree. Minty loves Christmas, and she knows it needs to be perfect!
She gets a balloon and turns the candy cane to make it just right. Again and again she tweaks it until- *crash!*
“Oh no! oh no! I broke the super special here comes Christmas candy cane!” She whinnies with fear.
She gets her socks, she has to fix this, she leaves one at every house until she gets to pinkie pie’s.
“Minty?” Pinkie asks, rubbing tired eyes, “what are you doing?”
“I broke Santa.” Minty explains, “so now I have to be Santa!”
Pinkie Pie sighs, as she realizes what Minty means, she scolds her gently and holds her hoof.
Everypony loves Pinkie Pie, she’s the best at reassuring.
“It’s gonna be okay Minty, we can fix this.”
And Pinkie Pie loves Minty.
“Okay.”
Minty and Pinkie Pie grab a balloon and they travel all the way to the North Pole to find Santa. But they’ve come too late, and now they’re stranded. But luckily for them help has arrived! Star catcher and the Pegasi wave hello, and over the snowy hills appear their earth pony friends, riding in other hot air balloons.
They all make it home, to what a surprise, Ponyville has presents, and a new Christmas candy cane, sparkling bright.
Pinkie Pie cheers, and Minty smiles bright.
The two look at each other on this Christmas morning and giggle, hugging eachother tight. Minty wants this moment to never end, Pinkie Pie doesn’t want to let go.
Pinkie Pie and Minty are BFFs.

And no pony could argue with that.

Pinkie Pie and Minty are sitting together, the birds are singing and the sun is shining.
Pinkie Pie turns to Minty, and starts to chuckle, “Minty Minty Minty,” she sighs with a smile.
Minty is tangled up in thread and beads are all over the ground. “Oops!” She laughs, “I’m sorry Pinkie! It’s just, Valentine’s Day is coming, and I’m trying to make a bracelet!”
Pinkie smiles, “who’s it for Minty? Who’s the special pony?” She asks.
Minty blushes and puts a hoof to her face, “oh Pinkie, it’s a secret!” She whinnies.
Pinkie Pie laughs, “if you say so Minty!”
Pinkie Pie goes back to her house and begins to cut paper and glue on glitter and ruffles, she’s making a valentine for a very special pony.
She pulls out glitter, pink and green, she doodles roses, coloring in the petals and leaves with pretty paint.
Minty heads home and begins working on a Valentine of her own. She crafts a box and puts a very special Bracelet inside. She ties it up in pink ribbon, and green bows.
Pinkie holds up the heart shaped valentine, and places it next to a bouquet of green and pink flowers, and a pair of cozy green heart socks.
Minty sets her box next to a bundle of roses and a box of chocolates.
Then it’s finally time, minty has Thistle Whistle bring a letter to Pinkie Pie. And the two of them meet at a hill top. Minty brought a blanket and board games like checkers and dominoes. Pinkie Pie brought a picnic basket with delicious food like PB&Js and Cupcakes.
Minty spreads out the blanket and Pinkie sets out food and then they sit down.
They are quiet, each waiting to Ethan other to say it first.
They blurt it out at the same time.
“Will you be my Valentine?!”
They burst out in laughter, rolling on the ground. Once the joyful giggles have subsided they give each other the gifts.
Minty whinnies and skips around with joy after putting on her brand new socks, and smells the flowers, her favorite! Mums!
Pinkie is glowing as she puts on her bracelet, and takes a bite of chocolate.
They put the flowers together in a vase and sit next to each other.
Pinkie nuzzles Minty, and Minty nuzzles her back.
Everypony likes Pinkie Pie, she’s the coolest pony in town.
But Pinkie Pie loves Minty.
The two hug tight and snuggle well after the sun sets.
Pinkie Pie and Minty are in Love.
Absolutely Positively in Love.
And no pony could argue with that.
