A small table stuck on the ceiling: check. A tea set: check. Large assortment of teas: check.

Discord eyed his unusual work with a satisfied smile as he crossed off another item from a list he’d been using. Normally he wouldn’t do something so orderly, but today was an exception. Today was his weekly tea party with Fluttershy, which is usually called Tuesday Tea, and he took it into full determination to make things very perfect in the strangest of ways. They had agreed to alternate locations every week for their get-togethers, alternating from her cottage in Ponyville to his house in his chaotic dimension, and today was his turn to host.

Fluttershy will surely be pleased with this.

A grandfather clock materialized next to him and chimed the hour, causing him to roll up his list and eat it along with his quill. “And just in time.”

Discord snapped his fingers as a flash of light momentarily flashed right outside his home followed by gentle knocking on the front door. He teleported over and opened it, revealing his best friend in the entire world.

“Hi, Discord. It’s so good to see you.” said Fluttershy as she smiled up at him before flying up and wrapping her arms around his chest.

“Hello, Fluttershy.” He hugged her back before putting her down and allowing her to enter. “You’ll be delighted to know that I modified the tea that we’re having.”

“Really? What did you do?”

“Oh ho, you’ll have to drink it and find out.” said Discord as he teleported them up onto the ceiling. She sat down in a chair next to the couch while he sat in it. The tea pot sprouted wings and flew to their teacups as it poured warm tea into both of them before landing back in its spot, its wings disappearing shortly afterward.

Fluttershy picked up one of the tea cups and blew at the tea to cool it down as she took a sip of it. Suddenly, her butter-yellow skin turned a shade of green and red roses sprouted from her hips. She looked down at herself and giggled. “Is this green hip rose tea?”

“The one and only.” her chaotic friend replied proudly. “Now that you look the part, I think I should have some as well.”

He made his tea cup levitate to his lips as he drank the entire liquid, causing his entire body to turn into a shadowy black color. He looked down at himself and gasped. “Oh my, I think I’m turning into a shadow.”

“That must be black tea.” Fluttershy giggled. “Oh Discord. I don’t know if there’s anyone in all of Equestria who’s more funny and creative than you.”

“Careful what you say, my dear. It just might get in my head.” Discord warned teasingly. “Anyway, I’d like to tell you an adventure I just had.”

“What is it?”

“You’ll like this one. I was travelling to other dimensions when I came across one with a cat that was exactly like me. He loved not only my good taste in causing chaos, but my abilities in not making sense. He invited me on a pranking spree against a cruel queen with terrible manners, and we ended up making her laugh so hard she gave us rewards for it.”

To prove the last bit of his story, Discord made a gold medal with the words “Funniest Prank Ever” etched into it. “Like this.”

“That sounded like a lot of fun.” said Fluttershy. “What was the cat’s name?”

“Cheshire, and let me tell you: he’s a master at not making sense like me, and I told him before we parted ways that he can stop by my dimension any time.”

She applauded. “That was a great adventure, Discord. Your stories are always really fun to listen to.”

“Is that so? I may have to become an author.” Discord said as he made a book materialize in his hands before eating it whole. “What about you, Fluttershy? Any fun antics that I wasn’t invited to happen?”

“Not much, except for a little incident at Canterlot Castle that needed me and my friends.” Fluttershy replied as she explained her little tale.

The Draconequus listened intently and laughed at any parts that he found funny, but as time passed on, he found himself becoming distracted by something else that stirred up strange feelings and urges within him.

That something was Fluttershy’s body.

Normally he would be attracted to disorderly and chaotic things, from Pinkie Pie pulling out random objects from out of nowhere to the unusual atmosphere of his dimension and him causing harmless trouble. It always made him smile to be surrounded by chaos, because he’s the Lord of all things Chaos, but for some odd reason, he was attracted to the one pony who’d reformed him and forgave him of all his sins.

How could he not be? Fluttershy was by far, the sexiest and cutest pony in Ponyville, if not all of Equestria. To Discord, Fluttershy was the most beautiful-looking and sounding pony in the entire universe.

Discord’s smile became forced as he fought to keep it up while listening to his pegasus friend’s story. He genuinely found it to be entertaining, maybe even more entertaining than his little tale, but the more he looked at her, the harder it was for him to pay attention. He made the teapot fly to his cup and refill it with another tea as he sipped it, causing his body to turn yellow

‘Yellow tea.’ he guessed in his head as he continued to drink.

“Discord?”

He nearly choked on his drink out of surprise as he gulped it all down with more force than he intended. He saw that Fluttershy had paused her story and gave him a concerned look, causing him to feel dread. “Y-yes, Fluttershy?”

He normally didn’t stammer, and that just made the situation worse for him.

“Is there something wrong?” asked the yellow pegasus. “You seem a little off.”

“Off?” Discord laughed with a scoff. “Fluttershy, I’m always off, but in times like these, I’m always on.”

To prove his point, he made a light switch that was in the off position appear on his chest as he licked it upward, causing his body to light up before the switch disappeared along with the glow. “See?”

“That doesn’t make any sense.”

“Yeah well, what fun is there in making sense?”

Fluttershy placed her tea cup down on the table as she got up and sat next to him on the couch, causing his legs to tighten. “Discord, I know that something’s going on. Would you like to talk about it?”

“No, because I’m perfectly fine.” Discord replied instantly as he burped out a bunch of belching bubbles. “Seriously Fluttershy, I’m fine. Now get back to your story. I personally liked the part where Shining Armor screamed like a girl at the sight of a tarantula. Ho ho, it was hilarious! And don’t even get me started on how Twilight was ‘Twilighting’ over part of the books in the Starswirl the Bearded wing being accidentally burned by Spike sneezing on them, and don’t forget-”

“You think I’m attractive.”

“-how the guards went into a panic when Rainbow Dash did a sonic rainboom. Honestly, I get how you ponies want royalty to have the highest level of protection, but-”

Discord stopped mid-sentence, now remembering that Fluttershy had said something. “I’m sorry, I think I had something in my ears.”

He made a Q-tip appear in his fingers as he stuck it in his ears and extracted a surprisingly large amount of ear wax. Shuddering in disgust at them, he made it disappear before smiling down at his friend. “Now then, what did you say, my dear?”

“You think I’m attractive.” Fluttershy repeated.

‘Uh oh.’

The Draconequus felt his smile fall as he cleared his throat. “I have no idea what you’re talking about.”

But one little giveaway said otherwise: his uncharacteristically blushing cheeks.

“Discord, do you think I’m attractive?” asked Fluttershy. The good news was that she wasn’t uncomfortable nor embarrassed, but he worried that if he told the truth, she would be.

“Well, I wouldn’t say that you are, but you’re not exactly a supermodel.” he replied. “Not that you’re ugly. You’re one of the last ponies that would ever be called such a comment. Sure, you’re a little pretty, but not that pretty.”

That was by far one of the dumbest things he’d ever said. Fortunately but unfortunately, his pegasus friend’s concerned look turned into one of comfort and curiosity.

“Discord, you can be honest with me. I promise I won’t judge you.” Fluttershy spoke in a comforting tone. “Am I attractive to you, yes or no?”

Discord bit his tongue. She sounded so sincere in her words, but nervous doubts placed a roadblock in his reply. What if she didn't want to be friends anymore if he said yes? What if she felt uncomfortable with his opinion of her? He could lie and say no, but that’d make things worse and end their friendship for all that he knew.

‘Curse you, Applejack.’ he thought with annoyance as he let out a sigh he’d no idea he'd been holding back. “Okay fine, you saw right through me. I guess I find you a little attractive. Very attractive.”

‘Well that’s an understatement.’

Thankfully, he saw that Fluttershy wasn’t feeling as he’d feared. “How long have you been feeling this way?”

“Weeks.” Discord sighed. “You have no idea how beautiful you are, Fluttershy. You make Celestia look like she’s nothing, and I have been having some…interesting dreams involving us. I won’t go into full detail for your sake, but I find you attractive. I mean, look at yourself. Seriously, take a good look at yourself, my dear.”

She obliged as she looked all around her body before looking back up at him.

She shook her head. “It’s natural for boys to be attracted to their female friends, especially if one of those males is a Draconequus, and It’s no surprise that you feel that way. I’ve been told that a lot and a few stallions even asked me out on a couple of dates.”

The very image of another male dating her caused him to narrow his eyes in jealousy slightly.

“I wasn’t interested in dating anypony. I’m still not, but it’s not that bad of a thing.” Fluttershy took his lion paw into her hands. “Besides, I think I found my special somepony right here. Or rather special somedraconequus”

Discord felt his throat tighten up out of surprise. “You have?” he said in a strained voice.

The yellow pegasus nodded her head as a blush coated her cheeks. “I…I love you, Discord. You’ve been one of the best friends I’ve ever had, and I enjoy seeing you.”

“W-well I am one of a kind.” he boasted.

“That’s why I fell in love with you. I’ve felt this way for a while and was worried you’d reject me.”

“Go on.” Fluttershy encouraged him.

“Iloveyou.”

His sentence was fast and he quickly turned his head away to hide the redness in his cheeks. ‘Dumbest confession ever.’

He heard giggling as he reluctantly turned back to see his best friend-turned-marefriend filling the atmosphere with one of his favorite sounds in the world: her laughter. It caused a smile to form on his lips as he found himself joining in.

Nevertheless, he snapped his fingers as a door appeared right next to the stairs that lead to nowhere. They stood up and walked down the wall to it as it opened automatically.

Fluttershy and Discord entered the room and went towards the bed as the door closed and locked behind them.
