The ponies sat in neat rows bifurcated by a clear path down the middle, nervous anxiety and expectant joy apparent on all their faces. Large, airy windows with neatly colored glass panes of a mirthful nature lined the hall, decorated with the iconography of the Two Sisters; those reagents of Equestria who would dutifully protect their loyal ponies. Bright light, Celestia’s new glory, shown through to witness this day. Banners of fine white cloth clung daintily onto the walls, ceiling, and banisters of the small second floor alcove.
An airy timbre filled the hall, all the anxiety and expectations resolving in the ponies dissolving away as they turned to face the doors into the room. The organ continued along, the ponies standing to attention. The doors opened as a filly of charcoal hair (finely brushed and tied back with a tasteful white bow) and unusual green fur appeared. Her fine dress clung tightly to her small frame until a large tuft of fine lace rounded her plump behind and fluffy tail, teased into a display of youthful femininity.
She first noticed all the smiles of the ponies as they appraised her. It was odd, ponies were there that didn’t seem to belong. Old classmates, friend’s mothers, ponies from old neighborhoods. But it didn’t matter, she had a job to do.
A basket of flowers filled her mouth and it was her job to herald in the new princesses with the finest flower petals. The flower filly has arrived and it is her time to shine! She had to make sure that all the ponies were happy and that princesses could see how much the ponies loved them!
She trotted along, stopping hither and tither to toss a few petals. It was hard to get the flower petals to leave the basket, seemingly stuck inside. Try as she might, her hooves felt planted onto the floor. Why couldn’t she just throw the petals? Just then she felt a familiar and distressing pressure in her tummy. This wasn’t right, she couldn’t move. The bathroom walls felt constricting and she tried to work her little filly hooves against the buttons and zippers of her dress. No matter how many zippers or buttons she opened the dress just wasn’t coming off. For some reason her mother was talking through the wall of the stall, “Anon, I can’t believe you didn’t tell me you needed to go! All the other parents will laugh at me.”
Her need was immense and the pain unbearable. She felt an indescribable anger at being teased by her mother and humiliation at what was happening. This wasn’t her fault! “NO, STOP! I’M NOT HAVING AN ACCIDENT! GO AWAY!” Her hooves planted down firmly onto the ground and bent slightly. It was a lie, she was already letting go. She squatted down deeper and felt the warmth of her aching bladder release and flood the fluffy lace of her dress and drench her neatly teased tail. It was running down her thigh and pooling against her hooves. The release and warmth made her forget the humiliation briefly.
Then, back in the royal hall, she was somehow still in her wet dress and wetting herself. The warmth didn’t seem to go away. She refused to open her eyes. All the ponies would see her! They would laugh! A moonlight filled the glass windows; tears filled the filly’s eyes and she cried out, “I’m s-sorry, princess… I had an a-accident…”
“My little pony, there is no need to apologize.” A soft voice filtered into the hall, blown in on light and cool air. The blue presence slid into the hall and everything seemed to freeze and solidify, like the brief moment in a mother’s hug. The wavering experience and shifting thoughts all snapped onto the form of the Princess of the Night, Luna, the Nocturnal Majesty and Diarch of Equestria.
The graceful mare out-sized the filly many times yet seemed to yet be her own size, a cool and welcoming friend. Despite her majesty, full regalia, and tall, slender legs - framed by cosmically gilt and diamond studded hair - the filly felt as though she were looking at a friend only a few years older and not much taller.
“It is alright, little one. You have nothing to be ashamed of. You are still growing and such things are… expected of you.” Her smile was awkward but sincere, perhaps not truly understanding what she said but believing fully her intent. The princess then caught a glance of the hall, looking up curiously.
“Hm, the coronation hall...” The princess seemed to fade away as quickly as she came. And then… awake, looking into the morning sun.
“What the…A dream? There was a coronation, and…. The princess? Why is my bed cold and wet?”
… … …
“That doesn’t sound so unusual, Anon…” the mare replied, skeptically.
A small dragon quipped, “Yeah, Twi told me that it’s perfectly normal for a growing boy to have “wet dreams”!”
The mare smacked the diminutive dragon on the back of his head.
“Ow, sorry...”
“I guess I could put together a potion that might help...”

The toy blocks felt like they were 3 times the height of the little filly. Her denim overalls felt stiff and protective and she didn’t feel a single worry. The classroom was decorated with letters and colors and shapes. She was too old for that, now! She could say her ABC’s and count to a hundred! It was time for newer and greater things.
She stacked the blocks higher and higher and other fillies gathered around to watch. Her hoofs deftly worked until she noticed the juice boxes and snacks that were on the playground bench. She took and drank some juice and ate some snacks but the taste wasn’t there. Something was odd about this; the lunch was unsatisfying and didn’t seem real. Just then, other fillies kicking balls in the field called out to her and she noticed herself now in a hot and dry dirt field behind the school.
She ran off to play, finding herself surrounded by a circle of other ponies watching her. Just then, she felt a pain in her stomach. This was no good, she couldn’t concentrate on the game if this were happening. Her tail twitched and the overalls felt tight. She bounced up and down, crossing her hooves and rubbing them together in a desperate dance. The sun was hotter.
She was back in the hallway trotting to the bathroom when the pain increased. It was just too much to bear. Her hoofs tried to work the metal latch on the buttons but no matter what she did the metal latch seemed to stay around the button and couldn’t come off. It felt as if every time she undid the latch there was for some reason one she forgot. Soon all she could do was focus on her dance to cling on for one more second.
Then the teacher came up and scolded her. “Why did you not go to the bathroom during recess?”
The filly became enraged at the accusation. That’s what she was doing! She just couldn’t get the latch off! Soon it became too much. Her little dance stopped as she stood stiffly, her hooves together. She crossed them one last time then uncrossed, squatting deeply. She felt a warmth flood her bottom and pull between her thighs. A heavy weight sagged down and pushed against the tight denim.
“Anon, are you having an accident…?” The teacher asked as the filly squatted even deeper. She began to grunt and push, now hidden behind a table in the classroom.
“Ah’m poopin’ my pullup…” she thought, feeling a huge load bulge out into the soaked and swollen diaper.
“You aren’t quite ready for the potty,” her mother said inside her head. The anger returned.
“NO, I’M A BIG PONY!”
Just then, a familiar presence entered the dimly lit classroom. Her table was gone and she was out in the open. “Hmmm... Little one…? Oh, I see. Finish your, um, accident.” The smile was perhaps more awkward than the Princess would have hoped, but still sincere in a dorky way - not quite befitting a Princess in her duty as Guardian of the Night. The filly was there, finishing up using her pullup as a potty as the Princess of the Night idly hoofed at the ground and unconvincingly glanced to the side out of courtesy. Or embarrassment?
The filly’s cheeks felt a fiery heat and her butt felt warmer and fuller than ever before. “Hngh… ah. I’m done… but… I had an accident… I’m jus’ a potty pants pony… I’ll never be big...”
The princess looked back, her cheeks blushed and mouth slightly open in a contained grin. “Ah, oh my… how… full. No matter, little one, you must be stressed. You’ve done so well, you should have no shame.” said the princess with that familiar friendliness returning.
Her voice seemed to gain in confidence. “Look, even I may have an accident from time to time.” The filly looked up, not seeing the large form of the princess but a small, meek pony not unlike her. Her soft blue fur and sleek hair flowed beautifully like dewed grass in the morning.
A dress, typical of the ancient Canterlot nobles the filly had seen in her story books, exquisitely flowed and weaved in the complex patterns that the finest unicorn artisans had mastered in those forgotten days. The regal pony turned around to reveal a slim diaper meant for potty training ponies – a modern design from Manehattan and not one expected for such an aged dress. Cute prints of small opossums playing cheerfully were printed and a line of yellow ran down until it gave way to a diffuse blue color. The diaper was gently yellowed and swollen.
“You are a young pony and should enjoy these days. You will grow into a fine and responsible mare one day, even if you need protection.” The filly was confused. Was this the princess or some other friend in the class… the moment of dreamy clarity wavered and shifted from the classroom into what seemed to be a… royal bed chamber? Fine lunar decorations, fully unfamiliar to the filly, began to fade into the scene. “Yes, little one, ponies may judge you but I assure you that w-we… Oh…” The smaller form of the princess wavered and again the filly saw the princess, still in the somewhat now undersized foalish dress, her pullup letting out a gentle hissing noise and expanding, the yellow stripe rising higher and higher as a blue color took its place. It expanded and became even more yellow. Overly decorated foal’s toys, not unlike those her grandmother had in her attic, dotted the floor. “This is unusual… I… is the spell somehow… Perhaps I am… no...” The princess looked left and right, distracted.
Unfamiliar Unicorns filled the room, cloaked in stuffy robes and reading from big books. The classroom changed, replaced with only two desks. The princess looked confused. “I… teacher?” One unicorn seemed prominent in front of the princess. He was youthful, unlike the other unicorns, and smiled. The little filly couldn’t hear what the unicorn or princess were saying.
The filly found herself able to walk forward again, detached from that frozen moment, her full, dumpy diaper squishing against her like a warm hug. Then, with the princess still turned, she reached up and hefted the pee soaked padding into the princess’s unprotected rear.
“AHHHH! LITTLE ONE!” The princess yelped, her regal form shrinking away. “Y-Yes, even your princess needs protection sometimes… do not worry…” The classroom faded away and the filly felt like she was drifting back from the princess. “You will find yourself confident enough to grow up soon.” The regal mare gently reached her hoof forward and returned a gentle press on the filly’s back side. “Yes, you should ask your mother for a change… you really had to… go…” she thought she felt a second deeper, firmer, press of the large hoof into her backside as the words faded away. The princess seemed… sad? The filly saw Luna looking back to where the teacher used to be. And then, open eyes to Celestia’s morning. A smell filled the room
“The princess and… school? I was in her bedroom… and… what is that smell!?”
… … …
“Okay, Anon. I can see why you’re worried. And maaaaaaybe my potion was unforeseen… side effects. If you want, maybe I can find a spell in the library to help… Somniferous’s Super Sleepy Spells and Secrets, maybe?”
Her horn glowed and a book began to float from a distant shelf.
“…yeah, that might help.”
“Y’know, Anon, when I have weird dreams I just pretend like they didn’t happen! Like that time I had that dream where Rarity-”
The mare smacked the dragon on the back of the head with the large, dusty tome.

The filly couldn’t see much from where she stood, her hooves aching and with sleepiness in her eyes. The robed unicorns lined up in rows; some chanted and others used magic to no obvious purpose. Fine lamp light illuminated the stone hall as it progressed into the throne room. The filly hopped onto her hoof tips several times trying to see what was in the throne, but soon a voice answered her curiosity.
“...mouvement le nouvel aube de nostre reame. Cantelot regnera tot Equestrie cum nosses puissant magiciens unicorne serunt liberés de lor deveir. Nous avums esleus dui poneis pur manteler le trone del soleil e del lune…”
The words were entirely meaningless to the filly and she quickly lost interest. She looked to her side and noticed two other ponies. One pink pegasus pony, perhaps a bit older, stood tall and proud; her face serious and body posed confidently. She was draped in the finest white silks embroidered in bright gold. Her head was adorned with a gilt crown. The next, a smaller earth pony of dull blue. She meekly stared at her hooves and nervously twitched and crossed her rear hooves. She was draped in a simple shawl of light grey with a black veil over her face. Silvered threads were woven loosely and hung into small tassels, a simple tiara of black weighed on her small frame. A larger bundle of cloth seemed to bulge from underneath the thin shawl from her flank.
The filly, not understanding or interested in the boring old horses in front of her, leaned to the younger of the two.
“Hi… I’m Anon. What’s your name?”
The pony looked up, surprised. “Thou speakest the language of the Earth Ponies... art thou not of Canterlot?”
“Um… no. I’m from Ponyville.”
“I am not acquaynted with that towne. My Instructer hath sayd unto me that I was borne heere among the Unicornes, yet that mine Parentes came from elswhere. He doth saye that I shall be more than Earth or Unicorn or Pegasus, Anon. His Majesty doth saye mineself and mine sister shall be Sun and Moon...“
The filly was confused. Such funny talk! She couldn’t help but giggle. “Oh… You talk funny! What’s your name?”
The meek mare seemed to be confused at the cordial filly’s words. She fidgeted and bounced more than before, rubbing her thighs together. “Ah… um…” she managed, but could not get out any more words before she closed her eyes in shame and squatted down. The noise of hissing became apparent from under the shawl. Then a smell typical of only the smallest fillies.
The taller winged-filly turned her smug gaze over to the small one. A look of pity filled her face and replaced the pride. It was not a hateful look but was one of shame. Her hoof passed over her snout, aware of the foul smell. “Soreur, tu ne poez ancor tenir tes entrailles? C'est chose de covenant de ponei del terre.”
Then, suddenly, the unicorns and tall filly were gone. The chamber, lamps, and throne were replaced with an indistinct blackness outside the filly’s awareness. She felt as if she were no longer in a body but was instead watching a scene unfold outside her control.
A young unicorn kneeled before the small pony in a corner room. Several attendants stood by. He spoke softly and in the old way of the Earth ponies, “Chyld, come. Anone thou shalt haue many duties, but for now there is no shame in yet being a fole, for such thou art. Thou needst not striue so hard. Thine diapres be-”
The filly lashed out in anger, striking down his outstretched hoof, and screaming, “Nay! Make but my Syster do yt! She is better than I, and ye alle knowe yt... I can not holde hit ne be a grete Mare... onely foles nede diapres.”
The other ponies faded away and the filly once again found herself in a body standing next to Princess Luna, in full regalia. The visage of Canterlot itself came into view. Luna walked forward to a platform open to the sky. Princess Celestia, in all her glory, walking back, smiling. They didn’t look at each other or acknowledge the other until they both passed – Celestia glancing back and frowning with concern. The filly noticed that Luna wore a dark shawl covering her backside – a familiar bulge of cloth, properly sized for the large princess.
Luna came up to the platform and magic began to glow. The moon rose… haltingly. It shivered and shuddered. The princess’ rear hoofs wavered and she squatted down. It seemed as if the moon would not rise.
Just then, an ancient unicorn hobbled from near the royal guards – one guard offering a hoof to help but was denied with a motion of his head. He walked up to the struggling princess as best as he could. There, he knelt next to her, a creaking and stuttering motion almost like the moon itself. He leaned in to whisper.
“Chyld, thyne office is al that maters. Leve alle othere thinges, for I am here to take kepe of alle that may falle.“ The unicorn placed his hoof against the princesses’ shoulder. She stiffened and then relaxed. The moon began a smooth ascent into the sky. The bulge of fabric beneath her shawl grew and sagged. The princess let out a long breath and began to pant.
The moon stood in the sky. Princess Luna stood up and smiled, looking down at her teacher. The filly saw a barely contained smile on the princess. “Behold, chyld, thou muste not seke to be somepony thou arte not. In tyme thou shalt growe into thyne office... thou hast all the tyme in Equestria, which is not the same for me. Anone I shall be oon of the sterres in the nyghte hevene lookeinge ouer thee. Remember that when I am gone I shall evere be there lookeinge vpon thee.”
“Nay saye that, teacher! Come, lete me bere thee backe to thy chamber. I haue sayde vnto thee that thou needest not to abide for me euery nyght, I wote that thou growest weary and... maist not... thou…” the princess trailed off, looking back to the old teacher’s robes. He, too, now bore the tell-tale signs of wearing a diaper. Old age had set in and she worried greatly for her teacher. “I shall call the seruantes to clense and chaunge thee.“
The old unicorn laughed, climbing onto the kneeling princess, his frail form small even by her slender frame. He gently patted her flank. “Nay, chyld. That smelle is thee. We shall both need the attendants this evening.”
The old unicorn smiled and the princess blushed with a dorky smile the filly had rarely seen on a fully grown mare before.
Then the place changed again. The filly found herself standing next to the princess, in her familiar regalia she had seen in her school books. She wore no dress and did not have that diaper. The moon filled the sky and the princess knelt before a fine headstone. She was smiling.
The filly looked over and asked, “Princess…?”
The princess looked back, “Oh, little one… tell me, how many stars do you see in my sky?”
The filly looked up. The moon was bright but that was not enough to wash out the hundreds or thousands or more stars. She looked back at the princess. “Ummm… a lot. I can’t count them all.”
The princess looked up into the sky. “Yes, he is still there, helping me. Thank you little one, for reminding me that I do not have to be somepony I am not. I have my duty but I should not feel ashamed for sometimes wanting to be… young again. But I must ask, who are you? What are you? This magic is not familiar to me.”
The dream once again moved. It was in that familiar room from before. Luna’s bed chambers, where the princess now sat in front of the filly. She wore a large diaper of a modern Manehattan make – a very fashionable design. Foalish toys lined the room. The filly found herself in a similar diaper. They both sat across from each other, the princess again a small earth pony, warmly smiling. The princess reached out a hoof, and she reached out hers. They came together in a hug, their warm and full diapers together in the embrace.
The filly started to answer, but then…
It was morning.
… … …
“ANON, YOU IDIOT!” the purple mare exclaimed, standing back on her rear hooves and placing her front hooves on his shoulders.
“W-what!?”
“Anon… why did you put up SO MANY dream catchers!?”
“Well you see, I kept having this dream where I was late for class and when I showed up I had no pants on and all the ponies laughed at my underwear…”
“Ok, so you put up some dream catchers…”
“Yeah, and then you made me that potion.”
“And then you had me cast the “sweet dreams” spell on you…”
“Yup, and then all this happened.”
The small dragon jumped off of Anon’s bed where he was standing. “Makes perfect sense to me! It was all Twilight’s fault. Like usual...”
The mare ignored him and continued, “Anon, Princess Luna is the guardian of all dreams. What you did with the dreamcatcher was to trap some of her inside your dream…”
“Ok, so what’s so bad about that?”
“...and then drank that potion which works by strengthening a pony’s control over their own dream…”
Spike whispered to himself, “...that sounds kinda cool…”
“...and THEN had me cast the “Sweet Dreams” spell…”
“Yeah.”
“...and you put up FIFTY more dream catchers…”
“Well, yeah, they were on sale… Ponk vouched for them.”
A moment went by and Twilight pushed back off of Anon’s shoulders and stood back.
“Anon, that potion gives you power over your own dream and the “Sweet Dreams” spell is an OLD spell that summons Luna herself to help guide you through your nightmares. When you put up all those dream catchers you essentially trapped ALL of Princess Luna inside YOUR NIGHTMARES! YOU IDIOT! YOU TRAPPED THE PRINCESS OF THE NIGHT IN A TESSERACT DREAM PRISON! SHE MIGHT STILL BE IN YOUR DISGUSTING DIAPER DREAMS! Spike! Letter! Now!”
Spike brought out his scroll and pen.
“Dear Princess Celestia…”
“Okay, Twilight, but one last question…”
The mare sighed. “Yes, Anon?”
“Why the fuck am I a filly now?”
The dragon plugged his nose and waved his claws in the air. “A better question is why haven’t you changed yet.”
The mare smacked the dragon on the back of his head.
