Author's Note

The first thing I want to say is that I DON'T OWN ANYTHING that appears and is used in this story, not the characters or anything else, they all belong to their respective owners. The only thing I own are my OCs, nothing else. Anyway, as some of you may have guessed, this is a Conversion Bureau x Resistance: Fall of Man crossover, but the world the story takes place in is the real world of the 1950s (meaning there will be real-life weapons and vehicles), with the elements of the Resistance universe of course. This story will also include elements from a few other franchises, mainly from Stargate and Atlantis: The Lost Empire.

The story will mainly focus on my OC and MLP's main cast but some characters from the Resistance will be included as well. There might be some anachronism regarding human technology and weaponry in this story but consider it as a part of an alternate universe where certain weapons and technologies were invented and developed a bit earlier than in real life.

I must also say that this story was mostly inspired by the Conversion Bureau stories written by Rated Ponystar, whose stories are one of the greatest I have ever read in Fimfiction, and would also make great fanfic readings or audio dramas.

While I admit that my writing isn't perfect and could use a little more improvement, I hope that people will at least appreciate the hard work I'm putting into this and other stories I'm writing. I might also edit the chapters in the future, I'm always open to improvements. Anyway, I hope you'll enjoy the story ;)

Prologue

The Pony threat began in the world of Equus 18 years ago. For unknown reasons, the ruler of Equestria, the Princess of the Sun named Celestia, teleported her entire continent to Earth by using powerful artifacts called the "Elements of Harmony" through their six bearers.

By that time, it was the year 1939 on Earth, and things had escalated to the point that the world was on the brink of the Second World War. But When the magical foreign continent appeared between North America and Europe, the whole world was caught completely off-guard. Before the world leaders realized what was happening, the princess appeared before them in a magical holographic image, requesting an audience.

With the leaders of both Earth and Equestria gathered in a neutral location, Celestia first explained who and what her people were, where they came from, and most of all, why. When she told them that they had come to Earth to "save" them from their human nature by turning all humans into ponies and allowing them to live in peace and harmony alongside all of the ponykind. The world leaders were enraged by this and instantly rejected the princess's proposal, saying it was an act of war and intent on genocide. After that, the hostilities between humans and ponies began.

Shortly after the meeting, Princess Celestia used the Alicorn Amulet-powered tower to seal the entire Equestrian continent inside a magical dome-like barrier to keep the humans out and protect Equestria from any outside attacks. However, before the barrier was raised, a portion of the pony populace who didn't agree with Celestia's plans defected to humanity's side and told them everything they knew about the upcoming war.

The world leaders reacted by putting Equestria under a naval blockade and declaring a worldwide emergency. Due to the seriousness of the threat ponies posed, all human nations formed a military alliance that would fight Equestria and protect all of humanity in the event of war.

Knowing that humanity needed to stand as a united species against the pony threat, certain human leaders who could damage that unity with their questionable ideals and ulterior motives were removed from their seats of power. This was mainly the case in Germany, Italy, and USSR where their dictators were removed from office and replaced with more capable people who supported humanity's unity.

In preparation for the imminent invasion, the Allies constructed heavily fortified and well-defended safe zones called "Liberty Defense Perimeters" in the interior of every nation, acting as safe havens for the civilians and impenetrable strongholds for the military in the hope of keeping the war at stalemate should the border and coastal defenses fall. Humanity also began to rapidly advance their military technology, creating new types of weapons such as jets, missiles, anything that would give them an advantage against ponies.

For over a decade, ponies remained sealed within the barrier, never lowering it and never letting any pony leave the continent. But then in 1951, ponies launched an attack that overwhelmed and breached the Allies' naval blockade. Then ponies teleported their shock troops to every continent and simultaneously attacked several human cities, destroying whatever defenses there were and kidnapping many humans to be converted into ponies. And so began the war for the very survival of mankind.

For the next five years, ponies have destroyed many human cities around the world and killed or converted thousands of humans. However, this was not without a heavy price due to the fierce human resistance which inflicted just as bad or even worse losses to ponies. It also made things more difficult for ponies the fact that some continents such as North America and Europe were so well-defended that there was no hope for conquering them, the same applied to the defense perimeters as well, especially after their defenses were upgraded with the newest weapons and technologies to repel all ponies' attacks.

When the Princesses realized that they could not win the war with their current means, they decided to change their tactics. In 1956, ponies launched a massive surprise attack on the United Kingdom, overwhelming the coastal defenses and seizing the southern territories within three months. No one knew for sure why ponies did it but if they were going to use Britain as a starting point for a large-scale worldwide invasion, the Allies had to act quickly to prevent that from happening.

On July the 11th 1957, hoping to finally turn the tide and prevent the UK from falling, the United States launched an assault on the eastern coast of England by sending 12,000 troops to aid the British. Among them were two great warriors, one human and one pony whose actions would determine the fate of all of humanity over the following years. This is their story.
