The train from Crystal City to Canterlot was approaching the station. The castle and the town under it were visible.

In the first car, the Mi Amore family was sitting. Princess Cadance and Shining Armor were talking about something. Flurry, meanwhile, focused on the black book that she put on the table.

This book was given to her by herself - or rather, from her equivalent from the distant past. Dark Flurry, as she called her, wrote this book to help Flurry in surviving a magical calamity. It worked - seven years ago, Flurry, with the help of her aunt and other mages, managed to teleport the entire world into the future, avoiding the calamity.

Flurry opened the book at the last page. This page was quite different from the others. Thanks to powerful magic, Dark Flurry could write something on it, that Flurry could read, and this allowed communication despite the unknown distance between them.

Calm Sky should be here any moment now. Watch for her, she is unpredictable and dangerous. Might try to take over Equestria. Whatever happens, do NOT talk to her - it is a possibility this would have very bad magical consequences, wrote Dark Flurry.

At the same time when the train stopped at Canterlot, deep in the Everfree forest, in the Castle of Two Sisters, something happened that sealed the fate of Last Equestria, although the fate was probably sealed long ago.

At the castle courtyard a portal appeared. Out of it, a pegasus in diamond armor walked out.

This pegasi was far from an ordinally mare. She was the Exception, the Backdoor Horse, the Vanquisher of Nerds - Calm Sky.

From one of the windows of the castle, Discord watched her. He teleported here the moment he felt her magic. This magic was powerful and very dangerous. He did help Dark Flurry to set Calm Sky on this path, and so far it was going well. The last part of the project was about to be completed.

Time for some changes, thought Discord. He summoned a piece of paper and a pen, wrote something, and teleported the letter to Dark Flurry. He will watch what Calm Sky would do.

Very far away from Equestria, in an underground facility, a group of humans were working on a strange machine. Their leader was Professor Louis Calvim. He, together with a few other scientists and soldiers, had recently uncovered a strange machine that probably was a portal.

“Professor Calvim, are you sure the portal is working?” asked an obese human in a military uniform.

“Yes, general. This portal looks undamaged. I tried turning it on, but it didn’t work. Probably there is no target set, but I still have not learned how to set one.”

“Interesting. You think this portal will allow us to go back to Poland?”

“Probably yes, general.”

“Good luck, Calvim. I hope you will succeed.”

General looked at the portal. The fact he seriously was considering teleportation was still blowing his mind. For the last fifteen years, the Polish army fought almost constantly. First again the Germans and Soviets, then Italians, then Japanese. However, seven years ago, when the army was in Sakhalin, preparing to attack Japan, the recon planes discovered there was no Japan anymore. Sakhalin, Kurils and a few other isles seemed to be transported to a different world.

This did not stop the fight. Undeads. Monsters. Ominous fog. The last seven years were just a different fight. The world has gone mad. During the missions outside of Sakhalin, they discovered many strange lands and abandoned ruins. Now, they finally might have found something that will allow them to finally go back to Poland.

At the very moment, the same moment Calm Sky walked out of the portal, very far away, an alarm rang.

“The portal! Something is happening to it!” shouted Calvim.

The screens of the portal showed something. Lights flicked, and the alarm stopped.

“What was that?” asked the general.

“I think the portal found its destination,” said Calvim.

The general walked towards the portal. At one of the screens, it was now written: mc.equestria.eqs.

“What is Equestria?”

“I don’t know. If the readings here are correct,” Calvim pointed at another screen with numbers, “it is located a few dozen million kilometers to the west of us.”

“That’s nonsense.”

“We need to inform the Naczelnik!”

“Right,” the general replied, and turned to one of the soldiers. “Tell the Naczelnik that we managed to get the portal working.”

Few hours later, Professor Calvim was preparing for a test. The Naczelnik -the head of Polish state and the supreme leader of all allied forces - was here. There were also many scientists, and a filming group with a camera.

“Good. The portal is ready to be opened,” said Professor Calvim.

“Let’s open it, then,” said the Naczelnik.

Calvim turned the machine on. Strange energy started emitting from it. Suddenly, there was a large burst of energy. Ray of energy hit Calvim, and started dragging him towards the portal. Another ray hit the general, and another one hit the camera. Then, there was a very bright flash of light.

The general stepped forward. This flash of energy made him dizzy. What the hell happened, he thought.

He looked around. He was in the ruins of a castle, in the middle of the woods…

Then, he noticed something. His hands were angular. He looked down. In fact, his whole body was angular.

What the… he thought, but was too shocked to say it aloud. Then, he walked to a tree and punched it.

He noticed that there were black squares on the tree. He punched it again. More squares appeared. After he punched it one more time, a meter of the tree disappeared and turned into a small, cubic block that then floated to his… equipment.

“What is this?” the general asked aloud.

“I don’t know. We must have teleported, and the teleport must have had… side effects,” replied Calvim.

“Look. I’ve punched a tree and got a block. It’s almost like… Minecraft. We are in Minecraft.”

“What’s a Minecraft?”

“A board game for kids. I play it with my grandchildren sometimes,” said the general.

“General, I’ve found out that I can record what i’m seeing and hearing.”

“You can? Record then.”

“Maybe we should go back?”

“No, if we are here already, we should take a look around.”

General and Calvim walked through the forest. They also tried to find out how to use those powers given to them by their new forms. They managed to create a crafting table and swords.

Eventually, they managed to find traces of civilization. They found a town.

“Wait a minute, are those…” the general said. In the distance, he saw two colorful ponies talking with each other. Seeing this, the general started laughing.

“We turned into board game characters and in a world with colorful mutated horses. The world went insane.”

“What should we do?” asked Calvim.

“Can you record me? I want to create a message for the soldiers.”

Calvin got into place and started recording. General started talking.

“Good day, or good night, depending on where and when you watch me. I am Thicc Hussar and this is the first episode of Minecraft…”

General continues talking absurd nonsense. Group of mutants have noticed him.

One of the mutated ponies walked towards him. Maybe it spoke to him, but the general didn’t understand.

Suddenly, the mutant grabbed the general in a crushing hug. General tried to free himself, but couldn’t. Calvin took out his sword and attacked the mutant. It turned into dust. Other mutants started running away. However, one of them started running towards them. It had diamond armor and carried a crystal.

The mutant threw a crystal at them. The crystal exploded. Calvim and the general started running away. The mutant kept trying to blow them up. Calvim noticed that this mutated horse had wings. It almost managed to get them, however, some force pushed it to the side and it hit a tree. Calvim and the general managed to flee into the forest.

Calvim and the general went out of the portal. They felt relief, seeing that they turned back into humans.

“General, where have you been? What happened?” asked the Naczelnik.

“Naczelnik, we teleported to a different world. Not corrupted by the Fog, at least it seems so. It is inhabited by mutant horses. Calvim recorded everything.”

Meanwhile, Calvim took off his jacket and threw it on the floor. It exploded. Suddenly, in its place, there was a pile of wood and stone.

“What is this?” asked the Naczelnik.

“When we were there, we weren’t humans but some strange blocky mutants. We had their powers, including the power to easily harvest resources,” said Calvim.

General reached for a pocket. He took out a small, black cube. He quickly threw it away. The cube exploded, and another pile of wood and stone appeared.

“You gathered so much wood in such little time? You think that place has more resources? Iron, coal?”

“Yes, Naczelnik,” replied the general.

Naczelnik called one of the soldiers. “Get the officers to me. We need to send soldiers to that world and secure this town for us.”

In the span of hours, a single division was ready to march through the portal. The soldiers had a difficult task. They were unable to bring anything with them to the new world. They will have to fight with swords that they will have to craft first. Yet, this did not stop them. They knew it was a part of their very long road back to Poland. They started marching into the portal.

The invasion of Equestria has begun.

Author's Note

This story was written to:
1. Prove that Thicc Hussar was a general from my canon HoI4 playthrough.
2. Establish that Flurry from Dark Crystal and Pony Server are the same pony.
3. Establish the fate of BlockFlurry (as I call her).
4. Be a stepping stone for another fic that I will write soon.

I will post the chapters when I will feel like it.
