Equestria has fallen under a mysterious mist filled with monsters and horrible beings that mercilessly devour ponies. Hope is already an illusory memory and none of the princesses are here to help them anymore.

In the midst of all this, a young mare just wants to live her life alongside her father, forced to be confined in one of the vast isolated bubbles that Princess Twilight Sparkle managed to create thanks to her own sacrifice. But one day her father disappears without a trace and survival alone becomes her only priority.

Unfortunately, the past never goes away, and the torment she carries with hers forces her to look beyond the safety of her refuge.

Finding an ancient shadowy being could be the key to saving what little was left of her world.
