It'll be okay. You're safe now." A woman cooed to her daughter, brushing her hair softly. "Why are they so mean, Momma? What did I ever do to them?" The girl sobbed, her soft blonde hair shaking. "I didn't mean to hurt them, if I did! Tell them I'm sorry!" "You didn't hurt anyone, Farfalla. Some people just have hard lives, and take it out on the people around them. Just make sure you never do what they're doing, or someone will be hurt, just like you are right now." Farfalla's mother said, trying her best to comfort her daughter. "I'm sorry! I didn't mean to hurt anyone!" The girl named 'Butterfly' said, ducking behind her hair. (By that, I mean that Farfalla means butterfly... Why else would I use that name?) "You didn't hurt anyone... I was just making sure you knew. Now, be quiet and do your homework." The teenaged girl didn't move, sobbing as quietly as she could. "I can't..." "Farfalla, look at me." Farfalla looked up, and saw what made her known around the school. 'The Stare.' "Do you homework, and stop crying. You must be strong if you're to survive in this part of town." Farfalla nodded quietly and practically glided over to her backpack. The animal keychains on her backpack clanged sweetly while she pulled out her homework. Her animals scampered over closest to where she was while she passed. She managed to smile for them, though the smile was shaky. Farfalla sat down near her pet rabbit, Arella Rabbit. He glared at her, as if saying 'You should've named me Asim, for protecter. Arella is a girl's name, and I'm not an angel.' It might've been just her, because she had been thinking about that for awhile. She had gotten Arella when she was young, but Arella was a girl's name, and he always felt like he was sent to protect her. However, Arella felt normal now, so that was his name. Farfalla started on her homework. It was very easy, but it took her awhile because she kept on thinking about Deodat, her tormenter. She had looked up his name, expecting something like 'Demon', or 'Dastardly'. But Sent by God? She found that idea idiotic. His last name, Doherty, made since at least. He was a Destroyer in Battle. When Farfalla finished her homework, she took to playing with her pets. Arella curled up in her lap while her birds, Bellachay, Behitha and Byrd swooped from perch to perch. Her small, white cat Chimere, who she had often dreamed about, (See what I did there? Chimere means dream, and she dreamed about her! ... I promise, this is just to explain the names... I won't do so much notes later on.)battered at her hair, mewing sofly. At 9:00, she removed the animals from her and went up to bed. Farfalla opened a magazine that she had gotten that day and started to read it. The magazine was Animals Weekly, and she loved it. On the third page, there was a small advertisment that looked like this: null (http://katie-kat1129.deviantart.com/art/Celetia-s-School-of-Higher-Learning-333260382?ga_submit=10%3A1350689636) Farfalla's eyes went wide, and she rushed downstairs. "Mother! I've found it! Where I belong! Please look at it, please!" Farfalla's mother took the letter and looked at it for a long time. After awhile, she went on the computer and looked at a website there for a long time. Farfalla paced until her legs ached and her her feet felt like they were going to fall off. Then, finally, her mother said "I've sent an email, and they're going to see if you can enroll." Farfalla squealed and hugged her mother. "Thank you! Thank you so much! Yay!"  She cheered quietly. Her mother smiled warmly at her daughter, the posey on her shirt shining pinkly with pride.
