When Shadow was born for some reason he had black webbed wings and an abnormal ability to make solid objects out of darkness itself. Naturally scientists wanted to study him and thus his parents had to keep him very secure to stop them from taking him away, but after his parents 'mysteriously die in a car crash' when he is 14, no one will stop them from kidnapping him for science but himself. 5 years later he is still running away trying to get somewhere safe. But when news of what really happened to his parents shows up and he has to go get it, his story soon takes a turn for the worse…or maybe for better?
