We have received confirmed evidence of an intrusion into the restricted section of the archives. This intrusion was undetected on the date of its occurrence – yesterday March 24, 23.31 p.m. A current investigation is underway into the matter. Unfortunately, little evidence against the culprit has been discovered. The only indication of the perpetrator’s identity is a single red apple – later identified as a Gala Apple – left at the scene of the incident.

The suspect’s possible identity, purpose and any possible information leaks are also being investigated. However, due to the suspect’s criminal and stealth skills being highly advanced, we anticipate a significant delay in producing the suspect’s profile.

The Game Overseer was informed that the data archive from Game No. 915 had been stolen. There is also reported evidence of possible tampering with data archives from Games No. 001, 050 and 916; as a result we immediately consider the postponement of Game No. 920

However, because preparations for No. 920 are complete, and because no indication of this data being leaked into the civilian population has been confirmed, we have concluded the Game should proceed as scheduled. Even so, we will be considering future Games to be rescheduled following No. 920, as well as implementing design changes in “The Shackle”.

As the supervisor in charge of the execution of the experiment, you, supervisor of Game No. 920 are to proceed with extreme caution.

Furthermore, this infiltration incident is classified top secret information and is to be treated as such.
