"Falling is just a state of not having a object blocking your descent." MysteryPony

i felt a powerful wind hitting my body, i didn't remember who i was, or how i got here. i opened my eyes, realizing.
'holy banana juggler, I'm falling.
But then i suddenly spotted a book. that book ignited my curiosity. it had a curtain charm to it. it was a red leather cover book, with no markings or letters on it, aside from some decorative golden swirls along the edge of the cover. i felt it calling for me, faint words of promises. i tried to reach out and grab it, but to no avail. i couldn't move my arms. on further inspection, my whole body was absent. it was like i was a ghost, a soul without a body.

'okay, so what happened to me? More importun... HOLY MOTHER OF....GROUND
While i was lost in thoughts, i had completely forgot that i was descending towards the ground at a rapid pace.
I woke up. after a quick glance around the room, i realized i was in the middle of what i only can describe as a library. there was books of every genres filling the book shelf of this round room.

i noticed that i could indeed move around in a floating manner, but only in a small proximity to the red leather book.
'great, I'm stuck to this damn book'
i floated over to the book to inspect it, but was interrupted.
"what in celestia's name is this" said a purple unicorn,That came walking in the front door."
i tried to say 'isn't it obvious? it's a book, and a strange floaty thingy' but it only echoed in my head.

a purple and green baby dragon came walking down the stairs, rubbing his eyes.
"what's all this racket twilight, I'm was trying to have a afternoon nap"
said the baby dragon. Before he realizing that there was a giant hole in the roof, and proceeded to stare at it in with his mouth open.

The purple unicorn walked over to the book, and picked it up with her magic.
"What is it twilight?" the baby dragon asked.
"its some kind of book" the unicorn said.
she the looked at the hole in the roof. And said "it's strange who it didn't take any damage from making that hole. Spike take note"

it looked like she was trying to open the book, but it was stuck. she then provided to say "Dear princes Celestia, this after noon some kind of strange book fell into my house, making a giant hole in the roof. i wish to inform you of this only because i can feel that it has magic in it. i have only felt this kind of magic in some of the ancient artifacts i was able to inspect in your school of for Gifted Unicorns. the book has little to no markings on it, and seems brand new. Your student Twilight sparkle"

That twilight? the student to princess Celestia?
the baby dragon. who i now knew as Spike, had written it all down. he proceeded to breath out a green flame that engulf the letter, and burnt it up. twilight then proceeded to walk over to a near my desk and putting the book down. since i was bound to the book i was dragged along to. she then sat down her horn started to glow. and books from all over the library floated over to her. she opened one of them and started to read. i tried to read with her, but the material was extremely heavy and fact based. so i passed the time by looking into the air, the dragon had disappeared saying something about having to get the roof fixed.

after an hour or so. a sudden flash blinded me. and in the middle of the library stood nothing less then princess Celestia.
twilight grinned with joy, and ran over to her. "Are you here to look at the book?" twilight asked her. "oh my faithful student eager as ever to learn i see, i`m indeed here to take a look at this magical book of yours" Celestia said. Twilight proceeded to walk over to the desk stating "its over here". Celestia followed her and picked up the book with her magic.

Celestia then proceeded to look it over, and tried to open it. after a moment of failing to open it she closed her eyes her horn glowing stronger for a moment. when she reopened her eyes again, she had a look of concern over her face. she then placed the book back down, and looked at twilight and said "I have seen something similar to this before." "What is is" twilight stated, her eyes growing with thirst for learning. "its better that you don't know, and i need to take this book with me back to Canterlot and lock it up" Celestia responded.
Lock it up? You cant lock it up. because if you lock it up, your locking me up with it. i don't want to be stuck in some kind off dungeon off evil books.

"oh come on, please princess tell me what it is?" twilight asked, looking at Celestia with puppy eyes.
"no, twilight. and that's the last of it. i have to go now, i have delayed my royal duties for to long already." Celestia said.
Her horn started to glow, but nothing happened. "This is not good, i cant pick it up with my magic" she said, with concern in her eyes. YES, does that mean that i have to stay in this boring library, instead of a boring dark dungeon

Celestia crushed my hopes when her horn started to glow once more, and she seamed to be canceling some kind of magic bolt! i closed my eyes hoping that destroying the book wouldn't destroy me! i heard a sap and a small explosion. i carefully reopened my eyes, i blinked a couple of times in realization of what just happened. the book was now floating in the middle of the air. it was open and blue letters was pouring out it, joining the already present letters that had formed some kind of shield around the book.

Celestia and Twilight both had a look of horror on there face. "i need to get Luna. and you Twilight, you need to get the girls" Celestia said, starting to channel another spell, but Twilight stopped here asking "but what is it?" Celestia looked back at twilight still a faint shimmer of fear in her eyes "its a prison, and the bars are broken" she said, before she teleported away.

Twilight stood there for a moment, looking at the spot Celestia once stood. She then turned around and ran out the door.
