Octavia sat there as she spoke with Vinyl about what they were going to do with Orange. To be honest, neither of them had ever entertained the thought of having a herd, let alone one consisting of only mares. They had been talking for a half an hour before they decided on what they were going to do.

"Orange, Vinyl and I would like to ask you something." Octavia said.

Orange nodded.

"Well, we were wondering if you would like to join us in a herd?" They both asked simultaneously.

Orange just stood there. She couldn't believe what was happening. For once in her life, somepony actually wanted her, not just one, but two someponies. She thought that the one night with Octavia and Vinyl was going to be her last and that they would've wanted her there as a friend, but now, now she couldn't stop smiling.

She dashed forward and tackled the two of them to the ground, spewing a long sentence of Thank You's worthy of Pinkie Pie.

"You guys don't know how much this means to me!" she said happily.

"Well, I realized that I still have an attraction to you, and I just wouldn't be able to let you go." Octavia said as she smiled, trotted forward and kissed her on the cheek, leaving behind a deep red blush spreading across Oranges face.

"And hell, I'd be lying if I didn't find myself attracted to you as well. Especially after last night." Vinyl added, winking at the madly blushing orange mare.

"You know, I realized something, None of us have been on an actual date yet." Octavia pointed out.

It was true, neither of them had been on a date, things just kind of moved faster than they had expected.

"Wow, you're right. And you know what, what better way to start than to make Oranges joining into the relationship final than a first date between all of us." Vinyl replied.

"So what are we gonna do?" Orange asked.

Octavia thought it over. None of them had properly gone on a date with each other, so maybe...

"I have an idea. How about we each take the other two on a date. One of us each day. So today I could take you two out, then tomorrow, it could be Vinyl, and then the day after, it could be Oranges turn."

"Sounds great, plus I can plan my date with you guys when we're finished." Vinyl replied.

"So what do you want to do?" Orange asked.

"I have a great idea. Why don't we have a picnic first, then later on we can go see a play or something, then catch dinner afterwards." Octavia suggested.

"A play? Seriously?" Vinyl said with a raised eyebrow.

"Well it's the best I can come up with spur of the moment." Octavia huffed.

"I think its great." Orange said as she pulled the other two into a tight hug.

As they got things ready, Orange thought about the day she had met Octavia. It was back in elementary school, back before she realized she liked mares.

Orange trotted through the hallway, heading to her music class. She never really enjoyed music like some ponies did. It just wasn't her forte. She went into the room and sat down at her usual seat, to find a new mare sitting next to her.

"Hi, I'm Orange Vortex. Nice to meet you." she said smiling.

The grey mare looked up and smiled.

"Nice to meet you too, I'm Octavia." she replied.

"So do you play any insturments?" Orange asked.

"Yeah, I like to play the cello." She replied happily.

Orange could hear in her voice just how much she enjoyed playing the instrument. It was the same joy that Orange got when she drew.

It was two years later that the incident happend.

Orange trotted up to Octavia, a wide grin on her face.

"Hey Tavi!" she said as she hugged her best friend.

"Hey Orange!"

"Hey Tavi, I have something for you." She said as she reached into her saddle bag and pulled out an invite.

"I want you to come to my party. It's gonna be so much fun!"

"Sure, I'll be there!" Octavia replied.

When it came time for the party, Orange had been really excited. She loved having Octavia over at her parties, she always made things fun. Orange had a wide grin when party guests had started showing up. Her grin got even wider when Octavia showed up.

"Hi Tavi! We're gonna have so much fun!" she said as she dragged the grey mare to where the others were. They were all engrossed in a game of pin the tail on the pony.

"Um, Orange?"

"Yeah Tavi?" she replied.

"There's something I want to tell you. Well, actually I want to show you." Octavia said.

"What is i-mmmph!" Orange said before being cut off by Octavia's lips. She was kissing her!

Octavia pulled away and looked at Orange hopefully, only to see a blank look on her face.

After that, Oranges mom had taken Octavia home, she had run off to the bathroom and had started crying.

That day was when Orange had realized just how much Octavia had meant to her, and just how much she enjoyed having her around. But never in her dreams did she think she would have two marefriends, especially two marefriends who were musically talented, and one who was a well known DJ. She smiled at the love she had gained, and of exactly what it meant to her.

When they were ready, they headed out, Picnic baskets in hoof, as Orange reminisced about the past, and the future.

Yes a new chapter, something im sure a lot of you have been waiting for, for a while now. I am now going to hold a competition. I need ideas for a Vinyl date, and Orange date.
