Future? or Demension?

Twilight was in her house searching for a book. "Spike! have you seen - oh there it is!" after searching through many titles of her large library she finally found a certain book she was looking for. "what was that?" asked Spike. "never mind Spike," said Twilight already turning the pages in her book, "i already found it." "oh... what are you doing?" said Spike suddenly curious. "working on a teleport spell." she said.

"don't you already know a teleport spell?" asked Spike. "yes, but this one is different." Twilight stated reading the spell. "how different?" he asked already knowing where this was going to go. "it's advanced." she said not really paying attention. "um... okay..." Spike said very confused. he had no idea spells could be so different. Despite not understanding he stayed to see how this "advanced" spell would work. "Are you ready Twilight?" asked Spike eagerly. He kept getting himself excited, though he had no idea why.

Twilight took a deep breath. "Almost." she said quickly. Twilight knew she had to calm down her nerves or the spell wouldn't go as planned. Not quiet sure she was ready the purple mare reread the spell. "c'mon Twilight how long does it take to read a spell?" Spike complained. "Okay Spike... I'm just nervous..." Twilight said not sure if those were the right words. Spike waited patiently for the nervous unicorn to be ready. "I'm ready!" Twilight Sparkle yelled out after a minute. Spike just blinked and said, "okay."

I can do this. I can do this. Twilight kept telling herself. She took a deep breath, then her horn started to glow. Twilight had to put all her concentration into this spell. Spike's jaw dropped as he saw Twilight not teleporting, but something like a portal beginning to form in the middle of the library. "Twilight!" Spike yelled. But it didn't work. Twilight was too into concentration, and there was almost a static noise in the air, along with flying parchment. Spike grabbed on to something so he wouldn't fly around the room as well.

Suddenly one of the flying parchments came and hit Twilight in her face. Twilight opened her eyes and broke her concentration. She collapsed on the floor and took the paper off her face. "Guess it didn't wo-" Twilight started but stopped herself when she saw a portal in her home. Twilight looked at Spike who had just let go of the table that had somehow stayed where it was. Slowly Twilight walked up to the portal. When she looked in she saw something a little too familiar. She saw the library in her house, in Canterot.

The scene slowly moved to a crying purple mare. Twilight gasped. It was her! Twilight Sparkle! but that wasn't all. When Twilight looked closer she saw that the library was moldy, and covered in vines. The next thing she noticed was that her hair was poofy like Rainbow Dash did her very own patent Rainbow Dry again, also her horn was broken. Twilight held her breath. her Cutie Mark. It was gone. Twilight was so focused on the scene that she didn't notice Spike walk up to her.

The scene dissolved and showed Manehatten. The scene focused on an orange earth pony. The mare had her hair up in a really fancy way. Twilight's jaw dropped. It was Apple Jack. She was also a blank-flank.The scene dissolved again and showed the forest. It then showed a yellow Pegasus. It was Fluttershy. She had pink hair with black streaks, and no Cutie Mark. It went on like that showing the rest of her friends. Rarity looking like she had been in bed for a week. Pinkie Pie had flat hair. Rainbow Dash wasn't a rainbow anymore. Her mane was black and grey.

Twilight didn't have enough time to take it all in. The portal just disappeared taking a few pieces of parchment.
