Fluttershy has an anniversary of sorts, each year on a certain day she would go visit a place none of her friends realize exist. This time is different though, Twilight Sparkle runs into her on the way and offers to come along. A series of events leads to a revelation that nopony that knew her could have expected and a secret guilt that has gnawed at her heart for years. In a moment of rash sympathy Twilight offers to help unlock a memory of pain and trauma that could mean an end to a lifetime of wondering and a lifetime of self-hatred, but at what cost?
