He leaned over Dash and a single tear ran down his face.

why did this happen

He though as he looked up at the stallion who was now watching him with a grin. He Hated the stallion and all that he had done. He hurt Dash and if he didnt stop the Stallion here he would destroy Equestria.

He got up and spread his wings into a ready possition and shot towerds the stallion in one quick beat of his wings.

Chapter 2

The Fallen

As the stallion charged they dodged his attack and let him go by them. Only thing was they didnt know what he would do next. He took a blow to the head and was sent backward Dash flew to help him up. After the blow his mind was foggy he moved with less accuracy and precision. He tried to shake it off buit it was to no avail but he cept fighting. The pounding in the back of his head was excrutiating. But with all of the stallions smart move he seemed to dodge and counter every sword or buck he had. Dash did the same as he.

They always worked as a team when needed and they were the best pair. The stallion got Smart though. He could use magic. They didnt notice his horn until it glowed it was the same color as he was so it was hidden by his coat but when he used magic it glowed a red.  He saw Dash get flung into a wall

He made his move there as the stallion was focused on his friend he lounged. The Cut was deep into the stallions leg but he cept standing. The stallion looked at him and grinned. His horn glew the same red as it did before and his leg started to glow as well the cut sealed and there was no more blood. He healed himself. If he could do that he was going to be harder fight then they originaly thought. The stallion started throwing shards of broken glass at them they moved swiftly and quickly to dodge them.

He noticed dash she was getting tired she had been fighting constantly for an hour now her movements where slower her reactions not as fast. He made up his mind and pulled out a blade and went strieght towerds the Stallion using his blade to stop the glass. The stallions eyes grew wide and realized that he wasnt prepared. He flung a table that was off to the side of the room at him.

When he woke everything hurt. he looked over at dash who was fighting the Stallion alone and in blade combat. All at once he bucked the pony who landed on the floor. The pony went over to her as the stallion watched him. He leaned over Dash and a single tear ran down his face.

After waking she opened her eyes and looked up the stallion was dead laying on the far end of the room across from her near the door from which he had entered. Only a few feet away a pegasus laying on his side. His breathing was slow and steady. Her jaw droped and eyes widend.

She rushed over to him his eyes were closed but he still breathed. A Cut From the stallions Blade was in his lower stomach.

There was a pool of blood that gradualy got larger around him. She sat next to him and put his head to face hers in her lap.

"No please. d- dont leave me"

He opened her eyes and she gave a slight sad smile. She looked into his eyes as he looked into hers.

"y-your going to be okay i promise i-im going to go g-get help" She held back tears as she spoke.

"No d-dont go Stey p-please:" He shook a little as he spoke.

She looked him. "I-im so sorry" she wisperd "this wasnt s-supposed to h-happen" tears started running down her face. As she quielty cried. "p-please dont leave me i dont want you to go"

He looked at her with sad eyes and she knew that, that wouldnt happen he was going to die right there in her lap. She wept.

They looked at each other for what felt like hours to her but where only minutes. He looked at her and spoke softly shaking.

" As I look back on all that's h-happened..growing up, growing t-together, changing you, changing me -- there were t-times when we dreamed together, when we l-laughed and cried together. As I look back on those days, I realize how much I truly  love you. The past may be gone forever..and whatever the f-future holds. So, my lifetime friend, it is with all my heart that I send you my love, hoping that you'll always carry my smile with you, for all we have meant to each other and for whatever the future may hold for you. "

She cried and listend and she looked down to him tears streaking down her face and a few moments later his smile slowley grew into a blank stare. his eyes rolled to the back of his head and his eyes closed. She pulled him close to her his head fell back as her arm wraped around his lower neck.

"d-dont go p-please dont g-go" but it was to late. He was gone and as she sat there she remembered what he said.

She sat there as tears ran down her face. "I-I love you Strike. Forever and always."
