Hiding a rainbow

"Awww. Look at those two. Peace at last." Twilight said as she watched Rainbow and Soarin flying around in the sky.

"I know. And I think we need to throw a party!" Pinkie skipped around.

"Hey! Everpony! Look!" Fluttershy came running over.

"What is it dear?"

"Read...this...news...paper..." Fluttershy panted as she placed a newspaper on the table.

"Escaped Criminal On Trial To Be Executed. Escaped murderer, Solar Blare, is now to be executed. He was arrested yesterday afternoon at Ponyville Ghastly Gorge. On the night of Sunday, he will be executed for murder, rape, three counts of attempted murder and assualt." Twilight read.

"Well, thank Celestia. He bucking deserves it!" Rarity huffed.

"My, my Rarity." A gentle voice called.

The five mares turned around to see a white alicorn trot towards them.

"Princess Celestia!"

"Rarity, you know not to use that such language."

"Y-Yes. I'm sorry."

"Excuse me Princess, but why are you here?" Twilight asked.

"I wanted to see how the co-captain of the Wonderbolts and the Element of Loyalty are doing." Celestia smiled as she saw the two pegasi flying and laughing.

"Umm...how are you going to execute Rainbow's uncle?" Fluttershy questioned.

"He is to be hung."

"It's amazing. There hasn't been a execution in nearly two thousand years."

"Yes well, murder and rape aren't very common now. Anyways, to treat you all, you are invited to dinner at the Royal Canterlot Palace tonight. Along with me, my sister, Princess Cadence and Shining Armour."

"Thank you so much Princess."

"Till tonight, goodbye!" With one flap of her swan like wings she was gone.

"Rainbow! Rainbow! Rainbow Dash!"

"Soarin? What's up?"

"Sit here. On the cloud."

Rainbow reluctently sat on the cloud.

"Dashie, the reason why I wasn't there when you came out of hospital, was to get something."

Rainbow cocked her head to the side in confusion.

"After you were...attacked, I didn't want to lose you. I feared that I would lose you. So, I brought this small thing." Soarin brought out a little blue box. "Will you, Rainbow Miriam Dashery, do me the honours of marrying me?" He opened the box, revealing a gold band with a diamond that shone all seven colours of the rainbow.

"Ah wonder wha those two are up ta." Applejack rubbed her chin.

"Yes! Yes! Of course I will!" Rainbow hugged Soarin.

"I think I know." Rarity smiled.

"Awww!" The others cooed.

"You know what this calls for?"

"For once I agree with Pinkie."
