Is She Okay?

KNOCK. KNOCK. KNOCK.

"Urg! I'm coming! I'm coming!"

A sleepy unicorn dragged herself from her bed.

What time was it? Is it even morning yet? What was she dreaming of again? Oh right. Being accepted to be Celestia's librarian. The Canterlot Library. To spend one hour in there would be a dream come-

KNOCK. KNOCK. KNOCK

The aggressive thuds disturbed Twilight's thoughts.

She opened the door.

*yawn* "Do you know what time it is?" Twilight rubbed the sleep from her eyes.

"Yes, five thirty five. Now come on!" Rarity tried to drag Twilight.

"What? Where?"

"Rainbow's in hospital."

"She crashed again?!"

"No. She's been attacked!"

Immediately, Twilight opened her eyes wide.

They both trotted to the hospital, wondering what could have happened.

"Is she okay?"

"Well, she's in a state of shock. So leave her to calm down, then we will ask what happened." A cream doctor levitated a clipboard in front of him.

Two unicorns walked in to see Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, Applejack and very upset Soarin.

"It's okay! She'll be fine!" Fluttershy soothed the frantic pegasus.

"I left her alone. By herself. I should have been there to protect her."

"Um. What's happened?" Twilight asked.

"Rainbow was attacked by her uncle."

*Gasp* "What?!"

"Err, Mr Soarin?" Called out a cream pink pony.

"Yes?"

"Miss Rainbow Dash is ready to see you now."

"Oh thank you!" He got up and walked to Rainbow's room. Followed by five mares.

Rainbow was in a separate room. With a single bed by the window.

"Excuse me, but why is she in a separate room? Usually she's in a double room with other patients." Rarity asked.

"We always put rape victims in separate rooms, gives them space to think." And the pink pony left.

"Rape victim?!" The girls looked at each other then at Rainbow.

Rainbow was sitting up in bed. She cried into her hooves. Her wings were ragged and blood seeped through the bandages. Cuts and bruises coated her body.

"Rainbow? Sweetie, are you okay?" Soarin held one of her hooves.

Rainbow looked over to Soarin and imediatly hugged and bursted into more tears.

"Shhh! It's okay!" He stroked the back of her mane.

"Please! Don't leave me! Don't let him hurt me again!"

The tears rolled the others cheeks. It was such a sad sight. The usually boisterous, vibrant, confident friend was turned into a  distraught, weak and scared pony. What had that monster done to her?

"Don't cry Rainbow. Please don't cry." Soarin begged.

Rainbow stopped crying, and hugged tighter.

"This my fault. If I said no to Spitfire I wouldn't have been late."

"It wasn't your fault." Rainbow said.

"But where was Solo?"

"He...umm...he went to Cloudsdale to pick up some stuff and to check on his shop."

"At that hour?!"

"He was..err... worried that vandals would ruin his shop."

The others were buying it, however, Twilight wasn't.

But instead of poking her friend about what happened, she left it.

As she left the hospital, she talked to one of the doctors.

"Make sure the press don't know about this. I don't think she's in a state to be asked questions."

"We will do our best."

And she left.

*yawn* "I have a feeling Rainbow is hiding something." She stopped dead in her tracks. "Why am I talking to myself?...I've been around Pinkie waayy too much."

She carried on walking down the path as she made mental notes in her head.

Find out what Rainbow is hiding.

Help her out.

Clean the kitchen.

Ask Spike to get the extra bed ready, just in case Rainbow wants to stay.

Buy oranges.

Ask Derpy about where half my mail has gone. I mean seriously. Most of the letters are ripped in half. Either she's been attacked by crocodiles or...why am I speaking to myself in my head?

"Way way way waayy too much Pinkie!"
