The outside of Twilight's Library

Twilight had gathered all of her friends by the library, preparing to investigate the 'disturbance'.

"Alright girls, I gathered you all here because something has caught the Princess' attention and she has called on us to handle it. It happened near the Everfree forest an-"

"Wait, did y-you say the Everfree f-forest?" said Fluttershy cutting her off. More like whispered

"Yes, but don't worry it was only at the edge, not in the actual forest."

"Oh good, that's a relief"

Twilight was going to continue her monologue when Rainbow Dash cut her off.

"Ah, Twilight I think we get the idea, now are we gonna go or not?"

"Oh fine, let's hurry up and get this over with"

"Yes, the sooner I get back, the better, I have a lot of work to do." said Rarity.

Twilight was leading the group down to where the disturbance had happened, Applejack caught up her. The other girls were chatting in the back, not very concerned for what this strange disturbance might be.

"So Twilight, what exactly is this 'disturbance' that the Princess wants us the check out anyway?"

"I don't know AJ, all the Princess told me was that it was very powerful and might even be something dangerous" Twilight replied.

"Well, let's just hope that it ain't"

"Did y'all just hear something?"

"No...what was it?"

"Meh, musta been nothin'"

"Sir, there is no sign of anyone here, I suggest we move on before it gets dark"

"I know Shultz, but we don't even know where we are, communications are busted and the tiger won't st-"

Voss was cut off by Litzke "Hauptmann! I see an apple orchard and a barn not too far away!"

"What? I guess it's our lucky day, we should go check it out"

"Sir, should I stay here and work on the Tiger?" asked Arno.

"No, there is only five of us and the Brits could be anywhere, We go together"

"Are we to abandon the tank?" asked Berndt.

"Hmm...I guess we can't, fine I'll stay with Arno, the rest of you go and scout the area and call in if something goes wrong"

Litzke, Josef, and Berdnt grabbed their gear and headed out towards the farm. Arno was busy working on the engine so Voss had a bit of time to himself. He sat down by the tiger and was lost to his thoughts.

"Um..sir? I am going inside to finish up, give a yell if you need anything"

"Yeah, yeah, do what you gotta do..."

"Yes sir..." Arno climbed in to the tank and starting working on the interior.

Voss was lost in his dream world, where he returned to the fatherland victorious and the Führer himself would commend him and his crew as heroes. Germany had attained glorious victory and the insanity of war was over and he could finally live in peace. Everything was fine until Voss heard a snap of a twig and in an instant he drew out his Walther and stood up.

"Who's there?" he asked.

No response...

He saw a shadow zip by a tree and rattle some bushes. Voss took a defensive stance and slowly walked towards the shadow and into the forest. He wasn't aware of how deep into the forest he had gotten, he was pursuing the shadow for some time. He loved to hunt by the countryside back in Germany so he could't help but see what the shadow was and the crew hadn't eaten in a while so if it's a deer or rabbit he would be lucky. Voss was around 52 but still healthy enough to fight. Meanwhile Arno had noticed Voss' absence and climbed out of the tank.

"Sir? Sir!? Damn where did he go?" Arno looked around and spotted some footprints leading into the forest. Arno was sure that Voss had seen something and went to pursue it, he was only armed with a pistol so he would be in trouble if it was Tommy...

Arno grabbed his mp40 and ran after him.

Twilight and her friends had been walking for some time now, Pinkie was getting anxious to see what the strange disturbance was.

"Maybe it's a big, scary Manticore with two heads who is actually a really nice guy, and just wants to be friends!"

"Pinkie, that's the weirdest thing I've ever heard" said Rainbow.

"Yeah..well maybe it's a funny creature from a different universe that got stuck here in a trans-dimensional vortex and needs a way to get back home!"

Everyone stopped and looked at Pinkie, wide-eyed.

"Pinkie that makes no sense, and how di-" Twilight cut herself off and decided it was only going to slow here down if she tried to contemplate what the hell she just said.

Logic? Bitch please she's Pinkie Pie...wait, how does she know what's going on!?

"Oh, did you say something author?" she looks up in the sky, staring right into my soul...

OH GOD! Um..nothing! Just pretend I'm not here!

"Okey dokey!"

"Pinkie, who are you talking to?" asked Rainbow with a look of confusion on her face.

"The aut-I mean no one! No one at all!"

"Okay..."

I had better be careful...Pinkie Pie is watching me...

As the girls approached the forest the heard a noise that sounded like trotting from their left. They immediately run over to the source of the noise and stop dead in their tracks.

They gasped as they saw a huge metal machine looking thing with a large metal tube protruding out of it. It had these strange looking tracks at the bottom, signifying that it was some sort of vehicle. It was colored in a camouflage pattern and had strange symbols on the sides. It also had two smaller curved tubes on its rear. It was covered in dents and black spots that look light they were struck by lightning.

"Woah....what is that thing Twilight?" asked Rainbow.

Everypony was just staring at the metal contraption in awe.

"I-I don't know Rainbow...It looks like some sort of carriage that's meant for snow or something..."

Rainbow Dash flew up to the metal tube thing and looked inside.

"Helloooo? Is anypony in there....?" here voice echoed throught but there was no answer and Rainbow continued to examine it.

"Rainbow be careful, we don't know what that thing is and what it's capable of..." said Twilight.

"Wow! That thing is cool! Maybe it belongs to an inventor pony! Oh maybe he has all sorts of crazy contaptions!" said Pinkie happily.

"I don't think so Pinkie, I mean how could not have noticed something this big before, it probably makes a lot of noise too" said Twilight.

"Oh, but how do get inside? There's no door!"

"I think you get in from the top, there's some kind of door up here." said Rainbow pointing to a circular hatch on the top.

Rainbow gripped the handle of the metal hatch and it slowly creaked open, it was pitch black on the inside.

"What do you see?" asked Twilight.

"Nothing! It's too dark in here"

"Well if you ask me this thing could sure use some decorations I mean camouflage is so dull..." said Rarity.

"Um...Twilight? I don't think we should be t-touching that thing I-mean it could belong to someone else and I don't think they would like us touching their things..." said Fluttershy hesitantly.

"Well there's no pony out here so ah' don't see what's wrong with looking but I think y'all shouldn't tinker with that thing too much" said Applejack.

"Oh alright, but there's nothing in there" said Rainbow as she closed the hatch.

"I report this to the Princess, she shou-"

Twilight was cut off by the sound of trotting and voices coming out of the forest.

"Quick, Everypony hide!"
