All his life, Drifting Snowflake has wanted to be a snowflake artisan, but must start at the very bottom of the ladder. After his best friend Storm Chaser is injured and unable to continue working for the Weather Assembly Team, both ponies are transferred to the newly-reopened Rainbow Division. Rumors are circulating, however, that the Rainbow Division was not closed for routine maintenance, but for something altogether more sinister. What evil lurks at the core of the Rainbow Division, and will the two friends ever make it back out?

I'm posting the first draft here while I search for an editor. Loosely based on Rainbow Factory the song, but entirely unrelated to Rainbow Factory the fic. Rated teen for intense circumstances, but this fic is completely 100% blood- and gore-free.
