//-------------------------------------------------------// Rivals in Equestria -by Blacktastic- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 1 //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 1 "Reckless mage!" the hulking behemoth of wood and plants shouted as he charged at his foe. He swung his massive deformed arm at his target connect a heavy blow to the metal plating that was giving shape to the being of raw magic "I will show you true power!" the metal clad energy creature echoed as he launched a barrage of lightning at the charging treant who easily shrugged off the bolts thanks to his enchantments. The treant smashed his fist into the ground sending a pulse of energy at the energy being. The twisted creature relished in defeating this abomination to nature and went to try and finish what he started, but was stunned by a sudden prison of dark energy. The ground beneath him turned black as night and began to boil as a chain of dark energy connected itself to him. He turned to see a dark angelic figure channeling her magic into him, slowing his movements and tearing away at his life. The fallen angel smirked, but she too was cut off in her victory as a bolt of holy energy slashed into her. "There you are..." the fallen angel spoke as she clenched her wound. He gaze hardened on her closest rival. "You're justice is a hand sister." The holy being spoke as she began to charge. The treant didn't waste any time and took his new bound freedom to continue his assault on the being of energy, who was likewise preparing his own attacks. Across the small field of the twisted forest where these beings fought two more opposites clashed sword against board. The warrior of the sun clashed her blade against the solider of night, depicting the ages old battle against the very elements they reflected. "An ally has been slain" a female voice announced overhead, the warrior of night cursing her team's failures. "Too bad for you heretic... it seems your comrades are not empowered by the night." the sun champion mocked, only to invoke the nights quick wrath. Despite her heavy armoring she found herself being whittled down to the last portions of her life under the relentless assault of her foes crescent blade. "You surely recall what happened to the last souls he branded me a heretic?" the night warrior asked sarcastically before taking another empowered swing at her foe. The sun warriors stamina had not run out yet as she returned her assault The battle continued to wage on into the hour mark, both sides taking losses to their defenses and morale. The summoners who were puppeteers to the whole event were beginning to lose patients with their enemies and allies alike. The champions they controlled were not faring as well either. On one side of the Twisted Treeline a team marked by blue colors consisted of Diana, Scorn of the moon, Morgana the Fallen angel, and Xerath the Magus Ascendant. While the side marked by purple consisted of Leona the Radiant dawn, Kayle the Judicator, and Maokai the Twisted Treant. On the side of blue the team had converged to talk tactics. Diana began her explanation "I'll charge down the road while Xerath follows along the treeline and attacks them from afar, Morgana you shall engage them as they attempt to stop his bombardment and further more..." she stopped herself when she sensed her summoner open a surrender vote, she wanted desperately to cut the coward down, but must suffer in silence for she couldn't get the influence she so wanted if she committed such a crime. "These mages are pitiful and do not deserve their power!" Xerath boomed. "We must suffer in silence my ally, lest we invoke the wrath of the council..." "Bah, I say if we gather together we can destroy this wretched league." Another summoner had agreed to surrender, not wanting to prolong the match anymore. "I wonder if our enemy is in the same situation." The fallen angel wondered aloud. "I doubt it, they seem fairly full of themselves." Diana rationalized. The final summoner had cast his vote agreeing to surrender. "I suppose that's it then...hold on...the other team..." 'Your team has voted to surrender 3/3' 'The enemy team has voted to surrender 3/3' "A double surrender?" Morgana asked "What happens if both the nexuses explode at the same time?" Diana asked Xerath, hoping the mage of seemingly infinite power could answer. "I...I believe we should move..." the ascendant being said nervously as he began to levitate away from the exploding nexus of power. His allies followed close behind him. Up ahead the saw their current foes doing the same task. As they neared they all heard the distinct charging of the nexus crystal beginning it's destruction sequence. The area around them began to crackle with bolts of energy. "'The field, it's becoming unstable!.' they heard the female announcer proclaim. "What do we do?" another voice from above asked. "Get the champions out of there quickly!" The summoners began to scramble to retrieve their precious champions before something befell them. As the champions began to feel the pull of their summoners on them a massive spike of energy disrupted the spell. "Evacuate the spectators, there's nothing more we can do!" the voice above announced. "You cannot leave us, we all have deals with you!" The annoyed treant announced, pointing his vine covered limb into the air accusingly. The voice's response was disrupted by another bolt of energy, the area around them began to disintegrate rapidly. The champions all began to back away from the oncoming void, but had nowhere to move when they all bumped into each others backs. They had nowhere to run as the wave of energy consumed them and they disappeared from the world "Woaooooo!" The energetic earth pony was vibrating erratically and violently in the confectionery shop she worked at. "It's the biiiiigest dooooozy eveeeeer..." she said her words vibrating as she did. "Pinkie, the last big doozy was when dear Twilight just learned to accept your ability to sense the future." The fashionista said calmly. "I dunno Rarity, we may wanna make sure nothing bad is going to happen." Twilight explained. Out of her periphial vision vision she spotted a large oncoming storm. "That's weird... There's not a storm scheduled for today." She turned to her two friends "Let's go ask Rainbow Dash." "But what if my mane get's wet?" The alabaster unicorn whined. Twilight simply rolled her eyes and rushed out the bakery. Rarity humphed and followed, pulling a still jittering Pinkie Pie with her. They trotted to the location of Rainbow Dash's favorite napping spot where they spotted the three remaining parts of their group. "Rainbow what they hay is this storm about?" Applejack asked, clearly annoyed "How the hay should I know?! I'm off duty today and it wasn't scheduled this week." "I was gonna harvest the south field today!" The farm pony said angrily. "My cottage hasn't been readied to take something this big..." The shy pegasus said Rainbow was about to speak her rebutle when she saw her other friends fast approaching and saw Pinkie Pie bouncing erratically. "Whatever's up, it's gonna be one heck of a doozy..." Rainbow Dash said. "C'mon Grils we need to help Fluttershy ready her home before it get's blown off it's foundation." Twilight explained to all her friends, who all nodded as they rushed to their shy friend's cottage on the edge of the forest. They quickly got to work boarding up the windows while Twilight fortified her roof with magic. Fluttershy began to round up all her animals into her home. Soon enough the storm was upon them, thunder and lightning crashed loudly throughout the sky, the timid mare found solace in the fact her friends were there, but was terrified beyond belief. All was going well until Rarity and Twilight clenched their heads in pain. "Oh it feels like somepony is taking a jack hammer to my skull..." Twilight said "Are you two okay?" Fluttershy asked, along with her other friends. Before either of them could respond they noticed Pinkie pie was bouncing even worse than before. "Heereee it cooooomes!" The girls who weren't holding their heads in pain jumped for cover when a sudden burst of magic flowed out of both unicorn's horns. Twilight shot a purple burst of magic in the direction of the forest, the beam burned right through Fluttershy's walls. Rarity fared no batter as she launched a blue beam that went straight into town. Shortly after both unicorns blacked out and the storm began to let up... Maokai's ancient wood groaned as he attempted to stand upright. He stumbled clumsly to his feet as he gripped his head. "Wh-what happened?" he asked, when he heard to other groans from around him. "It feels like we were caught in one of Jaina's tornadoes...." The sun warrior groaned as she stumbled to her feet. The angelic Kayle got to her feet and tried to take flight, but a sharp pain shot through her wing and leg as she let out a cry. "Kayle?!" Leona cried as she rushed over to her comrade. "I'm fine Leona...just a broken wing...and leg" she said, but a realization dawned on her "But the match is over...our wounds should be healed..." "I do not thin we are in a match anymore my companions...nor even Valoran" Maokai's ether voice chimed in "This land...I sense it is vastly different..." "How so?" Leona asked "The soil, it is not tainted with blood and magic...it is pure, untouched even..." he said "Where ever we are...it must mean our foes are not far behind..." Kayle began In the center of Ponyville a crater had formed in the center of town. Ponies all curiously gathered around the smoldering hole. When a sudden crackle of energy frightened them as the slowly began to back away. An ethereal metal clad hand burst from the ground, shortly after the vague humanoid body of Xerath slowly rose up, all the ponies that were gathered ran off at the sight of the strange creature. Xerath looked around and spotted the familiar sight of the purple feathers of the fallen angel. He floated over and reached into the ground, when he had his grip on something he pulled upon it revealing the fallen angel who seemed to suffered severe damage to her body, and her clothes upon Xerath's energized touch. He carefully laid her down and continued his search for his other comrade, which was made easier by the bursting hand that grabbing his lower plate. He reached down and with all his might pulled the night warrior out of the ground. She was still conscious unlike their dark ally. She coughed up some dirt and brushed herself off "What happened, where are we?" "I cannot say, but the land is definitely different..." Xerath began "What makes you say that?" "The amount of magic in the air is different than that of our island home..." "How's Morgana?" Diana asked plainly. "Breathing to say the least...but what troubles me is her injuries." "What of them?" Diana asked impatiently "She still has them..." A look of realization washed over Diana. "So we're definitely not on Valoran anymore..." she walked over to Morgana and pressed down on her chest to force her to cough up any dirt she still had in her lungs. After a few coughs she regained her consciousness slowly. "Where are we?" she said with a wheeze. "We're not on Valoran is all we know..." "Hay, what're you folks doin' down there?" a feminine voice with an accent similar to a certain card shark in the league asked Diana turned, slowly hoping this wasn't some weird land like theirs, but with reverse genders. She saw before her was a small orange horse wearing a cowboy hat, next to her was a pink horse with a frizzy hair style who was beaming the largest smile ever. Morgana's senses slowly returned, but she only saw the lower half of the orange equian. "Is that Hecarim?" "It's a talking horse..." Diana said flatly "Right...Hecarim..." Morgana said. Diana rolled her eyes, apparently the usually deathly serious angel was slightly delusional. "Our friend needs medical attention" Xerath finally said, starling the two ponies. "We'll get ya'll sum don't you worry none...but uh...just who are you folks?" "Now!" Diana commanded, slowly losing her patients. Applejack turned on her hind legs and before she took off she turned to her companion. "Pinkie I want ya'll to keep an eye on 'em, I don't right trust em." Pinkie giggled "Oki doki loki!" she said with a salute while Applejack ran off to find help. Rainbow dash was flying over the Everfree Forest, following the trail of destruction left by Twilight's energy blast. 'I hope their both okay...' She thought to herself 'At least Flutters is watching them.' As she was in her thought she thought she saw something moving down below. At first she thought it was the wind rustling the leaves, but then she looked closer through the thick canopy and saw a faint glowing coming from below the canopy of leaves. She slowly descended to investigate when what she saw confused the chromatic pony in every way. A tree was up and walking with a golden clad winged figure over his shoulder, and another figure walking next to him in equally golden armor. "What they hay..." she said quietly. she turned to fly off when she saw a little acorn creature at her feet, crackling manically. "What they hay!" she cried as it charged at her, she jumped out of it's way and it clamored into the bush, shortly there after the walking tree came into the light of day. It's eyes were bright yellow and it's teeth were jagged and broken. One arm was much larger than the other and had a face similar to his on it. "What is that thing?" The wingless one of the obvious warriors asked "Is it related to Hecarim?" Kayle asked "Doubtful.." Maokai said as he leaned forward to investigate the chromatic mare, but he only succeeded in startling her. She jumped back and took up a combat ready stance "Back off you twisted weirdo! "Do you want to see twisted?!" He shouted at her, he looked ready to charge but was stopped by his comrade on the ground. "Relax Maokai, we don't want to start anything with the locals if we can avoid it..." She turned to the mare. "Greetings, we're obviously not from around here...is there someplace we can go?" The mare looked at them confused. "Uh yeah...follow me..." she said cautiously. As they walked Kayle whispered to her comrades "I don't like this at all, who knows where we are, how we're going to get back home? And what if this is a trap?" "If it's a trap do you think that anyone can take on three champions of the Leauge?" Leona said with a confident smirk. "Two and a half..." Maokai corrected earning a displeased growl from Kayle. "Regardless, most people couldn't even take on one." Leona rationalized. "I only hope your right..." Kayle muttered After a slow walk the group arrived at a small cottage which had two large gaping holes in either side of it, the fact it was still standing was sheer luck from what it seemed. Rainbow Dash turned to the champions "Wait here, the owner is kinda..." "Aggressive?" "Creepy?" "Insane?" "I was going to say shy and terrified of everything..." Rainbow said, taken back by all the negative assumptions The champions looked at each other for a moment, confused by the change in personality of new beings they meet. "Was a creature named Nocturne here by chance?" Maokai asked "Who?" the chromatic mare tilted her head "Never mind..." Rainbow Dash trotted inside only to find Applejack was running out with a first aid kit in her mouth. "Yo AJ where's the fire?" She dropped the kit and said, "Some weird folks are in the center a town and one of em's hurt." and picked up the kit again before dashing into town. Applejack was running out of the cottage when she saw the trio of champions standing at the end of the trail she turned to Rainbow Dash with a skeptical look "Is that there tree alive?" "I can here you, and yes I am!" He shouted eliciting and embarrassed blush from the farm pony. She turned to the trio "Sorry partners, but there's a bunch a others waiting on me ta help." The trio looked at one another for a moment before looking back at her. Kayle began saying "Does one of them have purple skin and feathers and is wearing some revealing clothes?" "And is one of them wearing dark blue and silver armor with a crescent blade and bleach white hair?" Leona asked "And is there a creature of pure energy encased inside a broken looking sarcophagus with chains wrapped around his chest?" Maokai finished their trio of questions only to get a confused look from Applejack. "I take it ya'll know these folks?" They looked at each other and nodded "Take us to them..." "They ya friends?" Applejack asked "Yes," Leona said with a false smile "Sort of," Kayle said more truthfully "I hate them all..." Maokai muttered "Come again partner?" "It'll be great to see our companions again!" he said with false enthusiasm, which the farm pony believed. "Then let's go!" she said leading the trio into town. A/N  I know some of you are probably thinking 'a league cross over, like that hasn't been done before'. While yes it's already been done I have yet to see one that pits the most hated enemies of the league together. The reason I put Maokai and Xerath in instead of someone else is because A) one hates  reckless mage and Xerath is the most reckless mage seeing as how he blew up his city to become an energy being. And B) I do what I want! (plus I like the two of them anyways) //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 2 //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 2 "Come on Morgana, I think that....thing isn't coming back..." Diana said as she carefully began to lift her injured friend from the ground. Morgana let out a pained groan as her body was moved from the semi comfortable position she was in. Xerath stood idly by, his arms crossed, as he impatiently waited for the his comrades. He slowly began to examine his surroundings. The colors were all vibrant and flamboyant, every other building had an eccentric design to it that usually involved a heart or flower. Many of the towns citizens were watching them from a distance, and as Xerath's gaze turned onto them they would duck behind their cover. Soon his gaze turned down the path the orange mare had left down initially, and he was surprised to see her returning with the medical supplies she had promised. Applejack jumped into the crater with the first aid kit, Diana lowered Morgana back down slowly. Applejack smiled "Don't worry partner you're gonna be alright, especially since your friends are hear to help" Diana had a look of confusion on her face as Xerath spoke up "Friends? We don't....oh no..." Xerath turned at the sound of wood groaning as it bent and he was greeted by Maokai's deformed fist. The force of the blow sent Xerath well across the town square into another building, going clear through the wall. Xerath looked up just in time to see a spectral cloud of green magic and leaves flying at him. He braced himself as roots materialized from the ground and ensnared him, shortly after Maokai materialized before him. "Die mage!" He shouted as he began to unleash a series of fists into Xerath's torso, however he would not take this abuse sitting down. Xerath channled his magic into a quick orb of lightning that he was able to easily stirke againt his point-blank target. Xerath then launched a powerful bolt of lightning from his torso, that combined with the special magical charge, stunned Maokai. Xerath slid away from Maokai's grip and focus his magic into another powerful bolt, causing Maokai to stumble backwards. "Xerath, I'm on my way!" Diana cried as she readied her blade and jumped out of the crater. She charged the treant from behind only to stop herself when a searing pain entered her body. She tried to defend herself, but it was too late as the sun warrior dashed out from the shadows and smashed into Diana with an illuminated shield, stunning her. Leona began to slash into Diana's armor, but the lunar warrior quickly broke free of her impairment. She activated her lunar magic to conjure three glowing orbs that struck Leona and created a shield that protected Diana. Leona activated her own solar magic and created a shield around her that resembled the sun being eclipsed. "Die heretic!" Leona cried as she called upon her most powerful attack, the ground below Diana began glow bright yellow as Leona channeled her magic. Diana's quickly responded with a wide sweep of her blade causing a torrent of silver energy to emerge from it, forming a crescent moon that crawled it's way right towards Leona. Both of their energies clashed, forming a blinding light. Onlookers were forced to shield their eyes, even Maokai and Xerath were forced into a cease fire. When the light finally faded the crowed gasped in awe a the scene before them. Diana was encased in a blue-purple hexagonal sphere, while Leona was surrounded by a sphere of bright golden light, both of whom were uninjured from the powerful strikes. "Look!" somepony in the crowd shouted. All turned their heads to see two angelic figures who's hands were fading with their respective magics "My thank's Kayle" Leona bowed Diana nodded at Morgana, not wanting to verbally offer thanks. Each rival was staring one another down, awaiting the first strike. The moment of silence was all three mares needed to intervene between each fighting duo. "Enough of this ya dang fools!"  Applejack said, getting between Diana and Leona. "You can't just come in her and wreck our town!" Rainbow Dash said once she descended between Maokai and Xerath. "You shouldn't be fighting, we should be partying!" An oblivious Pinkie Pie said as she wrapped Kayle and Morgana in her forelegs. "You cannot command us!" Xerath proclaimed. He used his magic to lift Rainbow dash from between him and his rival and carelessly tossing her aside. She opened her wings to stop her forced flight and glared daggers at the energy being. "We are champions of the League of legends!" Leona continued as she lept over Applejack and swung her blade down onto Leona, who made a quick back step to avoid her crescent blade. "And we take orders from only our wretched summoners." Morgana finished, her words filled with the same hate that most other champions felt. "Then we say stop!" A voice cried out. The crowed turned to see a tired looking Twilight, Rarity, and Fluttershy who was trailing behind the two. Maokai let out a obnoxious laugh "You're no summoner!" He turned his attention towards Xerath and began to charge. He swung his might fist at the energy being only to stop inches away from him. "Why can I not strike!?" He asked as he reared his fist up repeatedly to try and strike Xerath down. Xerath unflinchingly made his way over to the two unicorns, who looked upon the floating mass of metal and energy nervously. Xerath examined them for a moment before turning to his fellow champions. "They are indeed our summoners..." he explained eliciting confused looks from the champions. "How?" Kayle asked. "Even the best summons can only summon one champion." "Why this is an anomaly unknown to me, I sense the link between these two...things, and us. The white one is in command of our original blue team," Xerath said motioning to Morgana and Diana, "While the purple one is in command of her respectively colored team." he then motioned to Maokai, Kayle and Leona. "Can somepony please explain what's going on!" Rainbow Dash said, her friends nodded in agreement with that statement, all of them having equal confusion "Let us find someplace private where we can discuss this..." Xerath explained. Twilight nodded, "But before we do...we may have to explain this to everypony." Xerath nodded as he motioned for his comrades to follow. They begrudgingly did so, but not before glaring daggers at their opponents, who followed within blade's and fist's reach of them. Twilight and her friends had finally finished calming the crowd down, and explained that the princess will be notified and the situation will be handled delicately, of course this did little of sating their fears, but the citizens weren't going to riot and panic as they usually do when trouble comes their way" "So..ya'll are somehow in charge of them weirdos?" Applejack asked as she adjusted her stetson Twilight looked deep in thought as she answered "I don't know much about summoning magic, but I suppose it had something to do with that mysterious storm." "Hmph, Well whatever the case may be I hope we can get those ruffians out of our hair soon enough, I don't wish to deal with the clean up from last time's big disaster." Rarity said with a roll of her eyes. "I keep saying I'm sorry," Pinkie Pie said shyly "How was I supposed to know that new cupcake ingredient was a parasprite pheromone." "We'd better catch up with them now that everything's quieted down." Twilight explained All the girls nodded as they traveled down the road after the champions. After a few moments of galloping they spotted Maokai sitting with his back turned in Flutterhy's garden as all types of woodland creatures surrounded him. "Oh no my animals!" Fluttershy said in a panic. She flew over with a rare burst of speed, only to stop dead once she had a better view of the situation. Maokai had in between his outstretched legs several animals, which he was allowing all sorts of critters climb about his being, several brave birds had even perched themselves on his branches protruding from his back. Fluttershy let out a sigh of relief as she turned back to her friends and nodded to them, signaling everything was okay. The girls nodded back as they entered Fluttershy's cabin. Once inside they quickly spotted the other champions. Xerath and Leona were playing the roles of sentry as Diana used the first aid kit to tend to Morgana, while Kayle used a healing spell that required a place where she could concentrate safely. "We see you've made yourself at home." Rainbow Dash said sarcastically, receiving an elbow to the ribs from her farm friend and a glare from the champions. "Beg pardon for Rainbow's rudness, but ya'll folks are definitely an odd sort, comin' ta town and attackin each other like that." "Believe us, violence is the farthest thing from abnormal for us." Leona said, not taking her eyes off Diana for a moment "Well then, since we now have time let's hear what's going on." Twilight said to Xerath, who turned to her and nodded. "We are from an island called Valoran," he began "On this island there are several city states, Demacia the self proclaimed keepers of justice and Noxus who believes in strength in military to control everything. These cities have been fighting each other for many years in wars called 'The rune wars'. Two of them have taken place and many lives were lost in both. The violence would have continued, that is until one day an organization called the Institute of War, or as some call it The League of Legends was founded by three incredibly powerful summoners. The League was used as a sort of arena to help stage political disputes over land and such without the loss of bloodshed...well the bloodshed of armies. Each city has their own champions, and even places far beyond the borders have their own champions representing them. Each champion is summoned by a summoner to fight on Fields of Justice, such as Summoners Rift, The Crystal Scar, and Twisted Treeline, which was the arena we battled upon, until an influx of magic caused us to be teleported here." The girls were dumbstruck from all this information. "So wait you don't even know why you were transported here?" Twilight asked "You try examining a trans-dimensional anomaly as it tries to consume you, Kassadin already tried that and it didn't work out too well for him." "Who's Kassadin?" Twilight asked. "Another champion." Xerath explained simply "Oh...what city does he go to?" she asked "None." "Then how come he's in the league?" the inquisitive unicorn asked. "Many champions are in the League for their own purposes, his is to try and warn the world of what he believes to be the end of the world. We can be here all day explaining this, but the point is we're here and we don't wish to be." "Some more than others..." Morgana muttered "Well I don't know anything about summoning magic, neither does my friend here, so we need your help as much as you need ours." "I'l offer what I know," Xerath began "but this research can and will take time, so we will need a place to stay. Maokai seems to have made his home here already and-" "Now wait a second!" Rainbow Dash interrupted "Just because you're stuck here doesn't mean we have to do anything for you guys, I mean how would you feel if somepony came into your town and started a big-" "My home is a barren wasteland now..." Xerath interrupted." Rainbow Dash looked a little guilty "Oh...geez..." she gathered herself and continued however, "Still, we don't even know if you guys can just start fighting again or not!" "Which is why I've sent for help." Twilight said before anyone else could. "Spike was in the crowd and I had him send a letter to the princesses. They'll hopefully know what to do." The girls nodded, but the champions didn't seem convinced. Silence washed over all of them as the last of the injures done to either side were healed, Applejack went back into the farm to get lumber to fix Flutterhy's home. She vaugley explained the situation to her family while she was there and Big Mac offered to help in the repairs. As they made their trip back the spotted the familiar sight of a chariot pulled by pegasi off in the distance. The two farm ponies quickened their pace as they arrived just ahead of the Princesses. "Big Mac, you outta wait here while I go talk to the princesses." The stoic farm pony nodded as his sister ran up to greet both princesses. She bowed before them for a brief moment before standing upright "Honest Applejack it is good to see you again, I just wished it was under better circumstances." "Believe me your highness I do too..." "Twilight's letter was very confusing, do you have any light to shed on this?" "Beg pardon your highness, but this is somethin' ya gotta see to believe." Celestia nodded as she and Luna approached the house and opened the door, there to greet them were the weilders of the Elements of Harmony and six aliens. "We did not expect to see this today." Luna said Celestia offered a warm smile "Greetings to you all, I am Princess Celestia, and this is my sister Princess Luna." Maokai simply grunted, not caring about either of them. Morgana and Kayle were too busy glaring daggers at one another. The only one's paying attention were Xerath, Leona and Diana, both the warriors however were only interested due to the themeing behind each princess. "I am Xerath, The Magus Ascendant." he said offering a light nod of his head, he motioned towards the warriors of day and night "This is Leona, the Radient Dawn, Diana the Scorn of the moon," He motioned towards the two angels and the living tree "This is Maokai the Twisted Treant, Morgana the Fallen Angel, and Kayle the Judicator, we are champions of the League of Legends and ask of your assistance in returning home." "Quite the mouthful some of your titles are..." Celestia said with a smile. "Tell me, what do you know of the magic that brought you here?" "I'm the most adept with this knowledge above the others here." Xerath claimed with some pride. "Well then, I must lay down some ground rules for all of you." Celestia's expression and tone hardened slightly This is a peaceful kingdom, and I wish to see that it stays that way. While you are here you are to leave your past grudges behind and live together peacefully, if this cannot be done then my sister and I will see to it that justice is done. Understood?" "I've never been one for tyrants..." Morgana said. "Watch your tongue fiend, they share the views of our people and I will ensure you respect them." Kayle threatened "You mean your people sister." Morgana said with a scoff "My people fight for individuality and freedom, while yours fight only to keep the illusion of a perfect world." "Enough!" Luna shouted "You will respect our laws, or you will face the night's wrath!" "I like that one." Diana thought to herself. Morgana waved her hand about "Fine fine, I'll be good." Luna calmed down as she looked to her sister. "Very well then, Twilight, a word please." Celestia asked "Of course Princess." Twilight followed her mentor out of the cottage, leaving Luna and her friends to watch over the champions. "So..." Diana began "Princess of the Night, tell me, which one of you is in charge?" "Clearly Celestia, her magic seems much stronger and can easily overpower your prescious night." Leona interjected Luna glared at the warrior of the sun, "We share our power equally, the only difference between the both of us is our age, otherwise we are equal in every way in terms of power, political and magical." Both warriors rolled their eyes, unconvinced by the statement. Luna growled and was about to speak when Celestia and Twilight returned "So sister what's the verdict?" Luna asked. "The Elements of Harmony will be keeping close watch on these...champions, while Twilight Sparkle and Xerath the Magus Ascendant will research a way to return them to their home." Reactions across the room differed from indifference to annoyance. "Pardon me Princess" Rarity began "But where exactly will they be staying?" "That is up to you my little ponies, although from what I can tell Xerath will be staying with Twilight and Maokai is comfortable here already." Maokai's only response to all eyes on him was a shrug. "So I guess tat means ah'll be takin' Leona if'n ya'll don't mind workin' for your keep?" Applejack said looking to the sun warrior "What sort of work?" Leona asked "Farm work, mostly apple harvest." Leona shrugged "Very well then I accept your offer." "Alright...I guess Kayle can stay with me if she wants." Rainbow Dash begrudingly offered. "Where do you live?" the angelic warrior asked "I live in a cloud manor." Kayle looked between Rainbow Dash and her other options. "Very well, it will be like home." "Wait you lived in clouds to?" "Why else would we have wings?" "Make sense." Rarity approached Diana "Well my dear seeing as how I summoned you it would only seem appropriate you stay with me then?" Diana nodded, "I see no argument for now." "Give it a day or two..." Applejack said with a slight laugh. Rarity shot her a glare before she and everyone else stared at Morgana. "Wait so that means I'm stuck with-" "ME!" Pinkie exclaimed with a toss of confetti and a giggle. Morgana sighed as the pink pony began to ramble on idea's about party ideas eliciting a face palm from the fallen angel.
