The Mysterious Night

This is my first story so please like comments and some criticism for my future stories. Thank you for reading.

"C'mon guys, lets head over to the lake, there is always fun things there." Brandon says as he signals to his friends to come.

"Well.... its like... dark how will we see anything?"  Cameron asks as he tries to catch up to his friends.

"Pfft have you ever gone outside?" Sebastian snickers, "This, is not dark. You'll know when it gets dark."

"Brandon, do you even know how to get to the lake" Cameron asks a little worried.

Meanwhile as the three friends hurry of towards the lake, something else is going on in a parallel universe that might change their lives forever.

"Um Twilight, are you should this is safe?" asks Rainbow Dash with a worried look on her face, " It's not like I don't think that your magic won't work or anything, its just that your spells have always been... well spells, they have never been made into a cupcake...."

"Oh Rainbow," remarked Twilight, "This is perfectly safe, nothing bad will happen. You have absolutely nothing to worry about." "Now come on, eat the cupcake."

"Fine." remarked Rainbow Dash as engulfed the whole blue frosting covered cupcake into her mouth in one ginormous bite.

"BLEHHH!!! it tastes terrible Twilight!" Rainbow said as she spits out as much as she could of the dreadful cupcake. "I wouldn't even consider that a-." Twilight cut her off.

"Um Rainbow..." Twilight stammered, you kinda needed to eat the whole cupcake... and since you spit some of it out.... you might get some side effects."

"Side effects? SIDE EFFECTS??" yelled Rainbow Dash, "What side effec-." Rainbow Dash fell to the ground, unconscious

"Rainbow?" Twilight said, "Rainbow wake up!".

"Here we are guys, at the lake. I knew I could find it." Brandon says as he doubles over gasping for breath.

"Yea here we are," Cameron says exhausted, "It only took us like two hours, and freaking Mr. Scary Man over here," Cameron says as he points to Sebastian, "Made us run away from 'some guy' that he thought he saw following us!"

"C'mon guys," Sebastian counters, "I really thought someone was following us."

"Hey guys... what the hell is that?" " Brandon says worriedly pointing to a rainbow colored lighting bolt streaking across the sky awfully close to them.

"Whoa!" the three of them yell as the lightning bolt splashs lands on the other side of the lake.

"Lets go see what that was." Cameron says heading off towards where the lightning bolt crash landed in the water.

It was obvious that the three friend were no supposed to be going this way, since the path was riddled with poison ivy, weird  plants with spikes all over them, and fences that say "KEEP OUT."

"Well... I think this is where the bolt thingy crash landed here." Sebastian shouted as the three friends neared the location of the splash landing.

"No shit!" Brandon countered.

The whole area was covered in rainbow colored water, the trees, the ground, even the wildlife was colored in rainbows.

Even the pony was coated in rainbow water. WAIT. Even the pony was covered with a cyan color, except it was like an even coat of the color, not like the water soaked through the pony's skin. It seemed like the color belong on the pony. Like she was supposed to be cyan blue. And, and her mane it was rainbow colored. This was beginning to look a lot like Rainbow Dash from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. Cameron wasn't fully open about him being a brony, he had a Fluttershy background and he watched the show, he just didn't tell his friends.

"Is that-" Cameron began.

Brandon cut him off mid sentence. "Rainbow Dash? From My Little Pony?"

Cameron added "But that is just an animated T.V show, no way Rainbow Dash could actually be in this world."

"This is impossible!"
