My Dashie

It was a quiet, sunny morning in Ponyville, Sugarcube Corner was very quiet. Pinkie Pie was starting to wake up, she could hear the birds chirping and the cake twins crying from waking up from a good nights sleep. Pinkie Pie smiled and jumped out of her bed with glee and joy. Pinkie Pie ran to her calendar one of the days was circled for a important day. "Today is the day Rainbow Dash races the Wonderbolts!"

   Pinkie thought with sheer happiness. "And not only that after she wins I'm going to confess my feelings for her." Pinkie Pie dreamed. Pinkie has had a crush on Rainbow Dash for a long time but has never bothered to tell her or anyone else about it. Pinkie Pie slid off her PJs and put on her casual T-Shirt which consisted of three balloons, and a pair of jeans. Pinkie Pie ran out of her room.

   Mr & Mrs cake were just getting ready to open the store. "Bye Mr & Mrs Cake!" Pinkie said while running out the door. Pinkie Pie dashed to the place where the race was taking place. When she got to the race track she stopped like car brake. Pinkie saw AppleJack & Rarity sitting in the bleachers. The pink haired girl scooted next to the Cowgirl and the Fashion designer. "Hello Darling." Rarity greeted. "Howdy Sugarcube." Applejack added. "Came to see Dash race?" AppleJack questioned. "Ummhmm." Pinkie Pie replied. "Shh the race is about to start." Rarity hushed. Pinkie Pie saw Rainbow Dash warming up on the side of track.

  Rainbow Dash started to walk towards the track wearing a tank top and shorts. "Wow she looks so cute in that outfit." Pinkie thought. Soarin and Spitfire were already waiting at the start of the track for the race to begin. Rainbow Dash had a confident smile on her face as if she knew she was win. "Oh I hope she wins." Pinkie thought with anticipation. The announcer stepped on to the field with pistol in his hand, He held the gun above his head. "On your mark!" The three runners started took their running positions. "Get set……Go!" The announcer yelled, the gunshot cracked like lightning.

Rainbow Dash zapped out of the starting line with great speed. Spitfire and Soarin followed. Rainbow Dash was in the lead with Spitfire in the back of her. Rainbow Dash's feet were as swift as lightning, her long, rainbow colored hair flowing in the breeze. Pinkie Pie was in awe of Rainbow Dash's speed and beauty.

   Spitfire caught up to Rainbow Dash, both were neck & neck, with Soarin way behind. Rainbow Dash started to run even faster, her feet started accelerating faster. Spitfire started falling behind, losing to Rainbow Dash. AppleJack jumped out of her seat and started to cheer. "YEEHAW RAINBOW DASH!!!" AppleJack screamed while shaking her fist in the air. "She can be so unladylike sometimes." Rarity said underneath her breath. "GO DASHIE!" Pinkie Yelled.

The finish line was nearing closer and closer. Spitfire started to catch up, gaining on Rainbow Dash. The finish line could be seen by both racers. Spitfire ran right next to Rainbow Dash. Both racers crossed the line but Rainbow Dash won by a millimeter. Pinkie Pie, AppleJack and even Rarity started to cheer for the speedster. "Good race Dash." Spitfire congratulated. "You too Spit." Rainbow replied. Soarin appeared with a half eaten piece of pie in his hand. "Where hell were you Soarin and where did you get that pie?!" Spitfire yelled. "Oh I found this piece of pie on the side of the track so I took it and I started to eat it." Soarin explained with pie still in his mouth. Spitfire sighed "Well see ya later Dash. " Both racers said while parting.

  Pinkie Pie got up from her seat and walked over to Rainbow Dash who looked like she hadn't broken a sweat.. "Hey Rainbow Dash." Pinkie Pie said nervously. "Sup Pinkie Pie." The beautiful tomboyish girl replied. Pinkie Pie was nervous she couldn't say another word. "Oh god I feel like FlutterShy." Pinkie Pie thought to herself shamefully. "I've gotta tell her, I've got to tell her." Pinkie Pie rambled in her head. "Hey Pinkie Pie, I have to go I've gotta do something's round town see ya." But Pinkie Pie was too lost in her thoughts to hear her. "Rainbow Dash I've gotta......" But  she was already gone. "I'm so stupid." Pinkie whispered to herself as she face palmed.

AppleJack and Rarity walked up to Pinkie Pie. "See ya around Sugarcube." AppleJack

said waving goodbye. "Goodbye Darling." Rarity added. As both girls walked away Pinkie Pie spotted Rarity and AppleJack holding hands. "Are they dat……nah." Pinkie Pie just shrugged it off and walked away.
