I remember, I remeber so clearly. When I felt like time stopped, and I actually looked into those eyes, those beautiful, violet eyes, I relized something, something I'd held in for so long, that I was losing my sanity, my honesty. But I then felt her, her heart beating against mine; in unison, together. It felt like I was going to lose myself to her forever, I was hers, she was mine, but only for that moment, the moment when we were one, our hearts, our minds, everything, everything was one.The world seemed to stop, and it felt like us two were in a void, a cold, dark void, a void where we were alone, giving each other warmth, the only noise being our breathing, our hearts. And then, just then, something happened, something that I had been waiting for, something that I was yearning for, It felt like I had waited for a thousand years, I had waited for the sensation, the sensation of the gap closing oh so slowly, our hot breaths touching our faces. And for once, I heard it, it was the sound of pure bliss, a bliss that surrounded our bodies like a forcefield , as strong as a wildfire, as soothing as the touch of a swan's downy wing. It was the most amazing sound in the world, and yet, if you weren't careful enough to care, or you didn't care enough to be careful, you wouldn't hear it, you wouldn't here the blissful song.. The passionate silence...

"Howdy Twi"! An orange work pony by the name of Applejack greeted Twilight Sparkle, a unicorn, the element of Magic.
"Oh, Hey Applejack"! Twilight responded, her face holding a large grin as she trotted off to Applejack, the element of honesty.
The two ponies had been friends for years now, defeating the dreaded Nightmare Moon, who had been trapped in the moon for a thousand years, the stars aiding her esacape on the thousandth year of her imprisonment. Coming back to Ponyvillie for her revenge, threatening to shroud Equestria in eternal night. But with the help of Twilight Sparkle and her five friends, one of them being Applejack, they defeated Nightmare Moon, turning back to her normal self, Princess Luna, princess of the night, guardian of the moom and stars.
Then came Discord, who had been defeated by Princess Celestia, and Princess Luna, and trapped in stone for many years, breaking out of his prision a couple years ago. When the elements of harmony were stolen, the six went into the Canterlot garden's maze, which became Discord's advantage, flipping all elements personalities; discording them all, except for Twilight Sparkle, who tried, and tried to get her friends to become their normal selves again. And when they tried to defeat him with all the ponies still discorded, which lead to utter failiure. After that, Discord started wreaking havoc in Ponyville, making cotton candy clouds, chocolate rain, the houses become cardboard, day become night in seconds, and roads of soapy covers. Then Twilight loses it, all hope, becoming grey like the rest of the ponies. Until she looked in a book, a book which held the elements, the elements which once again turned Discord to stone.
And then came The queen of the Changlings, Queen Chrysalis, who posed as Princess Cadence, acting rude, judgemental, which is out of character for the real Cadence, who spread love to others, and eliminated hatred. When she was getting married to Twilight's brother, that's when the queen struck, feeding off Shining Armor's love for the alicorn. But Twilight Sparkle wasn't fooled, she was suspecting that Princess Cadence; Chrysalis, was evil, even though her friends didn't believe her. Even the princess, her mentor, turned her back on Twilight Sparkle. Then, Twilight Sparkle got trapped in the caves below Canterlot, it almost becoming her prision. But then she set free the real Cadence, each working together to get out of the caves before it was too late. Once they got out, they crash the wedding, causing Chrysalis to reaveal her true Identity. The mane six then go off to get the elements, being trapped by hundereds of Changlings, and almost not defeating the queen. But together, Shining Amor and Princess Cadence defeated the queen.
But through it all, the two never lost each other's friendship, no matter what chaos was thrown at them, they stayed strong, they were back and back, neck and neck, eye and eye, always there for each other.
"So, you said you needed help with clearing a small section of the apple orchard, correct"? Twilight asked, wanting to clarify if what she was told wasn't misheard.
"Exactly, sugercube"! Applejack praised, beckoning them both over to the orchard.

"...And that's what y'all need to do, Twi" Applejack explained, showing her what to do
"Hmm, sounds simple enough" Twilight though, squining her eyes as she talked, looking right past Applejack.
"Ok then, y'all take the left side of the orchard, I'll take the right" Applejack said, galloping off before Twilight could say another word.
"I guess that means I can start on clearing the apples...".

"And..DONE"! Twilight smiled as she looked at her sucess, although it had taken well over the time she'd anticipated it would've taken, it was worth it, the whole section of the orchard was cleared out.

"Ah just need to pick up these apples and I can finally meet up with Twi..." Applejack trailed off, getting many thoughts about the younger mare...
Twi, she's so kind towards me, the way she conforts me, the way she melts away all those bad moments I've had that day....that week. She's so magical and illusive...she's special, she's amazing. Applejack sighed in bliss as a ray of sunshine came out from it's game of Hind-n-seek with the trees, covering the farm pony in a light layer of warmth from the sun, a faint gust of wind making her feel like she was lifted off the ground by an inch, but it felt nice, it felt like she was up in the clouds, she was soaring like a pegasus. She was free.
She's always there for me, she's beautiful, even if she denies it. In the rain, in the gental rain, when her mane and tail are glistened against the water, she looks like an angel, with a smile so soft, it touches my....heart like a feather... Applejack smiled to herself, and even let out a relaxed, calm, tiny, laugh. And then, she layed down next to a tree, pulled her hat in front of her face, and fell into a light, soothing sleep.

"...Applejack?? Applejack"! A voice rang in Applejack's ear, laced in worry, fear struck the air
Applejack barely opened her eyes before she felt a tight hug against her coat, and a nose lightly touched her own, making her face flush a deep, rosey crimson.
"What in tarnation..." Applejack muttered, opening her eyes completly, adjusting her vision a little bit before seeing a purple pony hugging her tightly. The pony's front hooves around Applejack's neck, and her head on the farm pony's shoulder. Just then, the purple pony let go, got up, and helped Applejack up.
"Applejack! I'm so glad your ok"! Twilight beamed, a very faint blush appeared on Applejack's face.
"Uh Twi, nothin' was wrong in the first place, Sugarcube..." Applejack muttered, lowering her head a little
"Applejack"! Twilight tried to stiffle a gasp "You weren't breathing"!
Applejack's eyes became wide, her pupils became specks "How long was ah knocked out for"? She asked
"Well, I don't know, All I know is that you were out for over half an hour, and you were muttering my name...It sounded like you were moaning a little..so that's when I really started getting worried about you" Twilight replied in a worrisome tone.
Oh no, this ain't good...if she heard that, what if there's something she didn't tell me! Applejack thought, a bead of sweat appearing on her forehead.
"But then you weren't waking up, and I was this close to doing CPR or something"! Twilight added, while holding her two front hooves only cenimeters apart from eachother.
"C-CPR"?! Applejack narrowed her eyes, leaning in towards Twillight "Why In tarnation would you do that"?!
Twilight stepped closer to Applejack "Becuase there was no way I was going to leave your side to get help for one second! Besides...I'd done CPR and mouth-to-mouth before"!
"But you wouldn't need to do that for me, I can handle myself"! Applejack retorted
Twilight was now yelling "But I care about you, Applejack, maybe more than you think"! The unicorn suddenly froze at what she just said, covering her mouth as a blush masked her face a deep magenta
"Twi-Twilight.." Applejack tensed, her tone softing "Is there sometime you're not telling me"? She gently laid a hoof on Twilight's shoulder, which caused the purple mare to flinch, but not move.
Twilight let out a sigh in utter defeat before turning to the mare infront of her "Yes, Applejack, there's something I've been needing to tell you for all these years. When I first came to Ponyvillie, I had many doubts about being here, but I was dissapointed I had to make friends, but when we all gained friendship with each other, you and I become the closest of friends. We battled many battles together, we solved issues together, and I remember where I fell in love for the first time, I saw the world in a new way, a new me, because I had...you, because I had fallen for you". Twilight lowered her head in shame, turning away from Applejack
"Sugarcube..."Applejack sighed, walking next to Twilight, lifting up her chin "Ya didn't need to hid this from me" she softly murmured, looking into each others' eyes.
"But Applejack, I thought you would've found me disgusting and strange, and thought you would've left me alone if I had told you..." Twilight winced, tears forming in the corners of her eyes
Now their noses were touching "Twi..would your best friend do that to ya"? Applejack asked
Twilight muttered "No but.." Applejack cut her off.
"Exactly, so why do ya think I'd shun and leave ya"? The orange mare asked, lettting off a small smile.
"Bu-" Twilight started
Applejack hushed her "No, no more "But's" or negitive thoughts" Applejack carefully placed a hoof to Twilight's face.
Twilight blinked away the tears, "O-Ok.." she whispered
Applejack then showed off Twilight a pure, real, heart-felt smile, barely even whispering in a soothing, light tone.
"Sugarcube, come closer please, I need to show ya how to hear, what I call, a passionate silence".

Oh my gosh! This was an absolute BLAST to write! This is my first ever AppleSparkle fanfic, and my first One-shot!! I hope to make many more in the near future!! I would love some criticism on this too!
