Life was going great for Sandstorm, the self-proclaimed best weather pony of Dodge City, up until the day when a prank went terribly wrong. Due to her irresponsible actions that day, Sandstorm faces years behind the bars of Windigo Gorge, separated from all that she's known. During her time, she makes new friends she would never have considered before, and together they stumble upon the long hidden secret of Windigo Gorge.
