So, did you find out who I was in the story? Sheesh, you guessed right! What? You want to hear another story about Amaterasu? Alright then. This story takes place before Akuro returns and Chibiterasu is born. It all took one month after Yami’s first defeat…
On the land of Nippon, a little green sprite was laying down on the ground in Shinshu Field.
“Man, I miss that fur ball…” the green sprite named Issun said to himself “I’ll get to the celestial plain… one day. The one month she’s been gone feels like a year. Boy, being a celestial envoy sure is tough! I have to travel from Kamiki village all the way to Sei-an City. After that, I have to go all the way to Kamui spreading the word around about Ammy.” the tired sprite muttered to himself as he watched the sky.
“Sure is a nice day… Hey, why are the clouds getting darker?” he asked himself as he noticed a large amount of clouds suddenly appear in the once sunny sky. Right then, a small group of green imps appeared before him.
“Ah!” he cried out and jumped up. “Where did you come from? I thought Ammy took care of you guys!” he began panicking as he jumped around. “Back off! I’ve got my trusty sword Denkomaru!” he threatened, pulling his small sword out.
Suddenly, Issun felt himself being grabbed into something warm, sticky, and disgustingly familiar.
“Ammy?” Issun asked as he recognized the feeling of Wolf slobber. The white wolf Amaterasu spat Issun out of her mouth and quickly took care of the green imps with her Solar Flare Reflector.
“Ammy! What are you doing here?” Issun asked. The goddess barked something at him.
“What? Yami returned?” he asked, sweat beading if his face. “But I thought you defeated him only a month ago!” he protested. Amaterasu whimpered.
“So he somehow kept a part of himself alive and was revived? And you have a feeling he’s around here somewhere?” Amaterasu nodded “Okay Furball, but this time, I’m coming too!” he jumped onto Amaterasu’s snout. Ammy barked happily and raced to the moon cave.
“Hey Ammy, why do you look like Shiranui?” Issun asked her as they raced across Shinshu Field. Amaterasu barked a few times “Woah, so all that praise went into you and you got your true form back? That’s great! Good thing I was here to help you, huh Furball?” he asked. Amaterasu barked back to him.
When Ammy and Issun reached the Moon Cave, they stopped. “Woah, there’s a really eerie feeling about this place! We should be careful Ammy!” Issun warned. "But, I think we should rest for a bit, to catch up for old times sake". "How have you been ya big Furball?" he asked. Amaterasu barked, wagging her tail. "Thats nice to know. Hey, how did you even get back to Nippon? I thought I saw you and Waka heading back to the Celestial plain!"
Amaterasu barked a few times. "So, the half-baked prophet is back in Nippon too then... You know, even after the prophecy that Waka gave me to help you, I'm still pretty mad at the guy. I mean, come on! He tormented me and got me to try and get on that boat!" Amaterasu barked one time and whimpered a little.
"Yeah, I'm fine Ammy. You know what this reminds me of? That one time where we were in Oki's house back in Kamui! We haven't had much time to rest at all during our travels. I guess this is one of those few rare moments to do so eh Ammy?" Issun asked. "I really hate demons. Especially Ninetails. I mean seriously, what kind of demon just takes a busty babe's body and uses it to get to Queen Himiko?" he asked again, thinking back about their previous adventure.
Amaterasu barked in response. "Yeah, I guess it was really clever to impersonate someone who could get close to Queen Himiko." Issun admitted. "But still, that's just plain evil! It was even more annoying when we gave the fox rods right back to her. We worked so hard just for Queen Himiko to die."
"I guess we’d better get going huh Ammy?" Issun asked. Amatersu nodded and went up the stairs and the tree over the gap in the stairs, she barked something at Issun. “Yeah, you’re right Ammy, this place should be swarming with demons to guard Yami. So where are they?” he asked, the last part to no one in particular.
Amaterasu and Issun then made it to Orochi’s throne and spotted Yami’s final form floating it the middle. “So that’s what he looks like? Jeez Ammy, I didn’t expect Yami to be a giant metal hand!” he said. Yami spotted them and fired a missile directly at them. But Amaterasu managed to dodge it, only burning a little fur. “Woah! He looks like he was as strong as Orochi the first time we faced him! Lets show him what you’re made of!” Issun said.
Amaterasu growled and leaped into battle. Once she got close, Yami quickly summoned a small tornado and it hit Amaterasu, but it barely did anything. “He’s still weak enough to finish. Quickly Ammy, get him!” Issun commanded. Amaterasu shrugged off the tornado and used her Tundra beads to shoot a few of them from long range.
After that, Yami got into a familiar stance, ready to use his laser beam on them. As it swept the battlefield, Amaterasu simply jumped over the beam. Once Yami had finished, he raised his hand and revealed his orb for another attack but Amaterasu used power slash and caused the giant to fall down stunned. Amaterasu used her reflector to deal a good amount of damage to the small orb.
Once Yami began to recover, Amaterasu used her mist technique with her Celestial Brush. While time was slowed, Amaterasu attacked with greater ferocity toward the weakened Yami.
After many hits, Yami had had enough; he flew away from Amaterasu’s reach and opened a dark portal. After the portal was completely open, Yami slowly floated though.
“Oh no! Yami’s trying to escape, after him Ammy!” Issun called. “Like I say, leap before you think!” he said and Amaterasu jumped though the portal. Once they were through, Amaterasu and Issun looked around, only to see dense looking trees all the around them “Hm? This doesn’t look like anywhere in Nippon! I don’t even see Yami around here either!” Issun said. “Maybe we should go around and ask some of the villagers around here.” Ammy barked in agreement, curious about the strange environment that they were in.
Suddenly, just as the portal behind them was about the close, a familiar blond haired man with a strange hat was standing near them. “Bonjour ma chérie” the man said. “Oh great, it’s the half-baked prophet again! What do you want Waka? And where did you come from?” Issun demanded, his usual green sprite color turning red. “Not much, I’m here with Amaterasu to take down Yami once again. Didn't you notice how there weren't any demons around the Moon Cave? I was busy taking care of them while the two of you caught up. I should go. But first, I have a prophecy for the two of you.” Waka said and did a few moves “The Elements that will help can only appear when you help them.” Waka said.
“Hehe. Pardon, ma chérie, I’ve been out of practice for so long.”
“What’s that even supposed to mean, elements of what? Nature? Ammy’s powers?” Issun asked, hopping up and down angrily. “That is even something I don’t quite understand.” Waka said, putting a hand under his chin as he considered his prophecy.
“I am quite sure that you will find out soon enough. Au revoir, baby.” Waka said and flew off. “Darn that half-baked prophet!” Issun said bouncing on Amaterasu’s head as his red colored sprite turned back to green.
Amaterasu whimpered something to Issun “Yeah, I didn’t really understand what his prophecy was even supposed to mean. I mean, are we supposed to cherry bomb our way out of here?” Issun asked and noticed something. “Hey Ammy, I think I see a road over there. Let’s go follow it. Maybe it’ll lead us to a town or something” Amaterasu barked in response and proceeded to follow the road.
“Heck, we might have just ended up really far beyond Nippon with all these trees here. I’ve never seen so many dense and dark trees in one area before. The only place I can come up with that might look like this is Yoshpet but that’s all the way north with snow!” Issun said jumping off to inspect a nearby tree. “These trees don’t even look like they’re from Nippon either.”
Amaterasu barked something and inspected the tree too. “I guess we really aren’t in Nippon then.” Issun said, jumping back on Amaterasu’s head. “Hey Ammy, I think I see the exit from here. Let’s just get out of this forest, fast.” He said. Amaterasu nodded and sprinted out of the forest into the dark and grim day.
“Hey Ammy, don’t you think it’s a little strange that there are a lot of stone pony statues?” Issun asked as after about 25 minutes of walking, they found a lot of strange statues along the way, all looking at the sky fearfully. Amaterasu barked in reply “You have the feeling that Yami managed to revive all of his minions? You don’t think this could be Orochi’s work do you?” Issun asked.
As if in reply, a large and terrifying roar was hear. Issun shuddered and looked at a nearby statue with 3 apples on its flank, strangely, it had a cowboy hat on it. “I wonder why there’s a hat on this statue?” he said to Amaterasu when she went over to inspect it.
“Hey Ammy, if this is Orochi’s work, don’t you think we should have run into a few stone villagers by now? We’ve being seeing a bunch of stone ponies.” Issun said as they passed by a unicorn statue with 6 stars on its flank, looking like it was running away from something.
“Weird” Issun muttered to himself “If this is Orochi’s work, it seems that his curse is weaker than before. All these ponies look like they barley turned into statues. Just drawing the sun from a high point should be enough to get everything back to normal. Then we can find out where all the villagers are and maybe find another busty babe. Hehe” Issun said to Amaterasu.
Amaterasu yawned, not really interested in finding someone like Ninetails. Nevertheless, Amaterasu barked in agreement with Issun and raced toward the town, noticing a tall and easy to scale building in the center of the town.
In the strange town, the two of them noticed a very important and strange detail: There were pony statues everywhere but not a single human statue anywhere in sight. Issun and Amatersu just shrugged it off, thinking that any residents in the town just went to hide in their homes and just happened to have many workhorses. “Hey Ammy, do you think once you draw the sun back in the sky, everything will be fixed? I know I said earlier about the curse being weaker but what if the souls inside the villagers are trapped? I don’t think Sakuya would have one of her Konohana trees here!” Issun said once they reached the top.
“Well, here goes nothing right Furball?” Issun asked. Amaterasu nodded and slowly drew the sun in the sky. Once the sun was back, the dark air disappeared and the day became sunny again. “Great job Ammy!” Issun congratulated, bouncing up and down on her head. “Now, lets go meet the people that live here!” he said. Amaterasu barked in agreement.
“Hey! What’s a timber wolf doing on the town hall?” asked a voice from behind them. “Huh?” surprised, both he and Amaterasu turned around. Before them, flying in the sky, was a strange blue Pegasus with a rainbow mane. The Pegasus flew up to them. “Hm?” she said, getting a closer look at the sun goddess. “You don’t look like any ordinary timber wolf. You’re not made of wood… Just fur like a dog.”
“Hey! Wolves are canines you know!” Issun stated angrily.
The blue mare backed off a bit in surprise. “Woah, a talking bug”. Issun just bounced in anger at the statement, turning red “Why does everyone think I’m a bug? I’ll get you for calling me that!” he threatened, pulling out his sword and slashing it at the mare. “Okay, jeez you really need to cool down.” the rainbow mare said. “The name’s Rainbow Dash! Who are you and… what are you?”
Issun then stopped bouncing, the red light surrounding him turning back to normal. “I’m Issun! A wandering artist and celestial envoy! I’m a poncle, not a bug!” he replied.
“And this here is Amaterasu, the Sun Goddess!” he finished and Amatersu laid down and yawned.
Rainbow Dash look at Amaterasu “That thing is supposed to be Celestia?” she asked, not really taking it seriously. “Hey, I don’t know who the heck this Celestia is, but Furball here can control the sun! Heck, she brought back the sun and revived you guys! But enough of that, what are you supposed to be? And who is Celestia?” Issun demanded.
“Well, I’m a Pegasus, fastest one around Ponyville too! Celestia is our sun goddess, she raises and lowers the sun!” the mare named Rainbow Dash replied. “Right…” Issun said, not believing there could be another sun goddess. “Hey Ammy, as soon as we get out of this town, let’s go meet this Celestia. Maybe she’s supposed to be the element that helps us. Sounds like she pretty much does what you do. Also, I guess there aren’t any people around here, it’s just all ponies from what I see.” Issun whispered to Amaterasu.
Amaterasu barked in agreement. “Well, it’s obvious that you guys aren’t from around here at all. I think I might know somepony who may be able to help you. And luckily, she lives pretty close too.” Rainbow Dash said.
“Alright, but who is she? And why are there so many mares around here?” Issun asked, looking around as the town began buzzing with life again. Rainbow Dash just shrugged, flying a little away “I really don’t know. But anyway, my friend’s name is Twilight.”

Chapter 2: A Lot of Familiar Faces
“Twilight? What kind of name is Twilight? Also, what kind of name is Rainbow Dash?” Issun asked Rainbow Dash as they continued toward Twilight’s place.
“Hey, I could say the same for you! At least my name makes sense! Your name is just…” the Pegasus responded with a pause. “It’s just plain weird. Rainbow Dash is a really cool name and matches me perfectly!” Amaterasu then barked something urgently to Issun.
“Huh? What’s she trying to say?” Rainbow asked, looking at the poncle as the goddess continued to bark.
“She says that she can sense demons nearby. Mostly in this town but don’t worry, me and Ammy will take care of them for you guys.”
“No way! This is our town! I think we can handle our own problems, it would look so uncool if we needed help for something in our own town!” Rainbow argued, flying up high for a bit to look around. “How can she tell?”
“She’s the Sun Goddess and she’s fought demons before. She sort of has a sense of where to go or where there are large amounts of them.” Issun said.
Amaterasu barked in both agreement and annoyance. “Alright, I exaggerated that a bit. Really it’s kind of all guesswork for spotting demons. But anyway, she didn’t say there were demons, she was asking what’s with this Twilight? How can she help us?” Issun asked.
“Well, Twilight’s really just an egg head. So I figured since she likes reading and is the smartest pony I know, she might be able to find you a way home or whatever it is that you guys need to do.” she answered, flying by them. Rainbow looked at the library as they got closer. “Hey look, we’re almost there.”
Amaterasu looked around suddenly as a sudden familiar, yet eerie, tone was played out in the air. Suddenly, she pushed Rainbow Dash away and out of the air as a large yellow imp popped out of the ground under Rainbow and a two red imps suddenly jumped off a few of the nearby building’s rooftops right in front of them.
Amaterasu growled and jumped at them. As soon as she closed in on them, a barrier appeared around the area as they prepared to fight. Rainbow Dash recovered quickly and tried to fly into the battle but was unable to “What the hay? What is this?” she asked, confused. She continued to attempt to break in.
“Stay over there! Don’t try to get in, Ammy and I will make easy work of these guys!” Issun yelled at the Pegasus. “Aw what the hay!” Rainbow grumbled as she finally gave in.
The yellow imp then suddenly burrowed under the ground. Taking advantage of the missing enemy, Amaterasu used her reflector and attacked one of the red imps, dealing damage to it until it raised its lute in protection. Amaterasu then used her celestial brush technique, Power Slash, to cut the imp’s instrument, stunning the creature.
“W-What just happened to that guy’s instrument?” Rainbow asked herself as she watched the sun goddess finishing off the red imp. As the imp fell, there was a sudden slash and the whole imp burst into flowers, a few strange things dropping from it. “What the hay are those things?” Rainbow asked as she noticed them draw toward Amaterasu.
Amaterasu finished off the other red imp in the same manner when the yellow imp finally appeared behind her. “Watch out Amaterasu!” Rainbow called. Amatersu tried to dodge but was too slow. A barrier suddenly appeared around her broke, revealing another one of a different color.
After the sudden hit, Amaterasu quickly attacked the last imp and finished it off, making another cut through the fallen enemy causing it to bloom into flowers. Shortly after the battle finished, the large red barrier disappeared and Rainbow Dash flew over to them.
“Oh my gosh, that was so awesome! How did you do that? The cutting, the sudden slashing, even that shield!” she asked, clearly amazed at what she saw. “Hehe! Like I said earlier, Ammy’s a god. What you saw back there with the cut was her celestial brush! In that battle, she just drew a line over them and they got damaged! For that little shield, that was her godhood. Whenever Ammy attacks, she regains a little of it to protect herself!” Issun said bouncing up and down as he put the money and demon fangs in Amaterasu’s bag.
“You know, the two of you aren’t bad for a bug and a wolf.” Rainbow said with a smirk. “You guys may be able to fight well but you aren’t fast enough to race me” she said wanting to see how fast the sun goddess could go.
“Yeah, well, maybe.” Issun responded. “First of all, I’m not a bug!” Issun yelled at the flying Pegasus, the light around him turning red as he bounced furiously. Rainbow Dash laughed “Come on, can’t you take a joke?” she asked “Yeah I can but I just get really annoyed by that.” Issun said, his light returning to normal.
“Well anyway, thanks for saving me Amaterasu.” Rainbow Dash said to her. Amaterasu barked in reply, her tail wagging happily. Rainbow Dash smiled. “Hey, I think she really likes me.”
“Well sort of, she probably just likes you as a friend. After all, she has a happy-go-lucky spirit!” Issun said, remembering his little speech he had made back on the solar eclipse.

“…Can you hear me Ammy? You’re not floundering about without me, are ya? You gotta pull yourself together! I finally chose my path. And I have the resolve to see it through! I’ve started to roam the land as your missionary. But you gotta take care of things on your end, too! Don’t look so sad. Just psyche yourself up like we always did, remember?
… So, c’mon everybody! Let’s join together to call upon the great god. Let’s show Ammy that we truly believe! Put your hands together and pray. Let’s make our gratitude obvious! I mean, we shouldn’t just pray only when we want something. We should consider how the gods must feel once in a while. We should even take on some of their burden.
If you pray with all your heart, maybe the sun will cheer up and show itself once again, lighting our world in it’s heavenly glow! After all, the best thing about the great god Amaterasu is that happy-go-lucky spirit! Right, Ammy? Answer if you can hear me ya big furball!”

“Man, I know I already said this to you before Ammy but it sure feels good being a team again!” Issun said after the memory faded. Amaterasu barked, happily wagging her tail as they stopped in front of the tree house.
“Do the two of you have some sort of long history together or something? ‘cause that would be so awesome being friends with Ammy!” Rainbow said in awe.
“You have no idea,” Issun said, chuckling to himself as he thought of previous things they had fought through. “Yah know Rainbow? You’re not half bad! A little full of yourself but you really seem like the kind of person who would be loyal to your friends! Heck, you could’ve had the chance to run away when that fight started but you stayed and tried to help us!” Issun said.
“Yeah I guess” Rainbow said, scratching the back of her head with a hoof. “After all, I’m not the Element of Loyalty for nothing!” she continued with a smile “Now, let’s go see Twilight” she finished and went inside the library, Amaterasu and Issun following close behind.
As they walked in, they saw a purple dragon with green scales sorting out some books “Hi, welcome to the Ponyvil… Woah, what’s with the glowing bug and furry timber wolf?” he asked as he looked at them and shot over to them.
Issun bounced up and down furiously “I’m not a bug! I’m a poncle! The name is Issun, the wandering artist and Celestia Envoy!” he yelled furiously at the dragon as he introduced himself.
The dragon took a step, raising his hands up as if to protect himself. “Woah there, chill out man. Sorry for that, I don’t normally see your kind around. Anyway, my name’s Spike!”
“Hmph, it’s good to meet you kid. Anyway, we’re here to see Twilight.” Issun said as he calmed down. Amaterasu barked in agreement and looked up the stairs.
“Spike! Who’s at the door?” A female voice called out from what seemed to be an underground area in the library.
“It’s Rainbow and some new uh… guys in town! I think you want to come down and check it out!” Spike replied. “I’ll be up there soon!” the voice called back to them.
“It’s probably going to take a while, she caught this weird guy inside our library. He kept trying to attack with a gold colored wooden sword but Twilight took it from him.” he explained.
“Really? Can we go down and see them? I think I know who that guy is,” Issun asked.
“Sure, but you might want to be careful, this guy keeps threatening us.” Spike answered, “He reminds me a lot of Trixie” he whispered the last part to Rainbow who in turn, laughed a little.
“Oh yeah, I remember that loud mouth. She was really annoying and kept talking about how great she was” she commented. Spike smiled “Yeah, but anyway…uh… Issun, Twilight and the other guy are down there,” he said, pointing to a door leading underground.
“Alright, thanks kid! Okay Ammy, let’s go see who it is! I have a feeling I already know!” Issun said to Amaterasu who only barked in reply and went through the door. As they descended the stairs, Issun and Amaterasu heard a familiar snore that they never thought they’d find here.
When they reached the bottom, there was a laboratory with a purple unicorn studying a familiar human in purple clothing who was tied up, asleep.
“Spike! I told you I’ll be up there soon!” The purple unicorn said, still studying the human with her back against them.
“Uh, we’re not Spike” Issun said, after a moment of looking at the human. Amaterasu barked, wagging her tail as she saw the human before them. She rushed up to him excitedly.
“Gah!” the unicorn cried out in surprise and jumped back from the two of them. “Who are you? And what are you doing in my lab?” she demanded, taking a good look at her sudden visitors.
“Woah there lady!” Issun said quickly. “We’re just here to find out what ya got down here in this room!” he explained. “Oh, by the way, the name’s Issun! I’m a poncle, a wandering artist, and the celestial envoy for Furball here!” he said jumping over to the sleeping human. “But before you ask any questions, I have to ask you something, what the heck are you doing with Susano here?”

Before anyone says that this story sucks and looks like it was put together in one minute, I'm sorry. I'm still trying to find an editor but having no luck at all. When I do get one (hopefully soon) I will make a small note for it and it will hopefully improve. But for now, enjoy this chapter since today Okami HD comes out! Off to play that but seriously, I'm doing this by myself with no help and not much experience. This is really the best I can do so far (Hopefully I will improve). Enjoy your day!

Chapter 3: A Few Introductions
“Susano? Is that really his name?” Twilight asked, looking at the sleeping form of Susano sleeping in her lab. “Well, I found him wandering into town a few days ago. When I went over to greet him, he was saying I was a D-man… whatever that is.”
“It’s actually demon. But it’s all good, Pops is probably really confused right now. Can you untie him, uh…” Issun paused, having suddenly forgotten the purple unicorn’s name.
“It’s Twilight Sparkle.” the mare replied and looked at the snoring human. Her horn started to glow, as did the bonds around Susano’s hands. “And yes, I can do that.” she continued as the same glow from her horn appeared around Susano’s ropes and they loosened.
“Woah Ammy! Did you do that?” he asked, surprised to see the ropes suddenly fall.
“Uh, that was me.” Twilight said with a little confusion. “What do you mean by Ammy doing it? Is that the name of that weird looking timber wolf you have there?”
“Hey! Ammy’s sensitive about her faults! But yeah, that’s this fur ball’s name!” Issun replied, looking at Amaterasu who happened to be asleep.
Twilight went up to Amaterasu curiously. “What a strange timber wolf. She looks a lot like a dog, except she has a physique like that of a timber wolf. Is she a new kind of creature?” she asked while Amaterasu opened an eye and yawned, going back to resting.
“Well, you see…” Issun began when suddenly; a pink pony with a bunched up mane appeared seemingly out of nowhere.
“Twilight! Twilight! My pinkie sense is telling me that we’re going to have another doozy!” the pink mare said and went over to Amaterasu, who raised her head in surprise at the sudden appearance of the energetic pink pony.
“Ohmygoshohmygoshohmygoshohmygosh” the hyperactive pony said, bouncing up and down like Issun. “What is it? Is it a timber wolf? Did you try to make a timber wolf into a dog Twilight? Whats this glowing green bug doing here? Did you try to enchant a bug to light up in the dark? We should have a party! I’ll call it the ‘Great job for making a timber wolf have fur and a glowing bug! Or maybe something else? I know! I should invite everyone over here so they can see this!” The pink pony rambled on.
“Pinkie!” Twilight yelled, silencing the pink pony.
“Yes Twilight?” Pinkie asked.
“First of all, I did nothing to them. And second…” Twilight said.
“I’m not a bug! I’m a poncle! Heck, I have no idea what a timber wolf even is! Also, Ammy here is a sun goddess!” Issun interrupted angrily.
“Wow, a talking poncle! I think you two are the doozy I was talking about!” Pinkie said, looking at the angry poncle.
Issun just sighed “But how did you get here in the first place? There was no way you could just appear here out of nowhere.” he said with a hint of confusion.
“I’m going to go get everypony here! I’d bet Fluttershy would be really excited to see Snowy here!” Pinkie said and left as quickly as she’d come.
“How did she do that?” Issun asked and laughed a little. “Heh, like we haven’t heard the name Snowy before” he commented.
Twilight chuckled. “Trust me Issun, you don’t want to know how she does that. But anyway, I have to ask, what is Ammy?”
“Well, Ammy’s full name is Amaterasu. I just like to use her nickname; Ammy. It makes it easier to address her!” Issun said, calming down from the encounter with Pinkie. “But on what she is, she’s the sun goddess from the Celestial plain! She controls the sun, the moon, and other things too!” Amaterasu, noticing the conversation had returned back to her, just yawned and rose to her paws, shaking her fur.
Twilight frowned a bit. “That’s pretty interesting. We have a sun goddess here too but her name is Celestia. She can also control the sun and the moon.”
“Yeah, we heard about her from someone called Rainbow Dash.” he explained, “Celestia sounds a bit like Ammy here but missing a few things. Ammy can also control things with her Celestial Brush. Hey Ammy, why don’t you show your blooming powers on that dead plant there?” he suggested, jumping over to a dead flower in a pot.
Amaterasu barked and the world froze for her as she drew a circle around the dead flower. Once she finished, the flower returned to its healthy state. Twilight looked at the now healthy flower in surprise. “How in Equestia did you do that? That’s just amazing!” Twilight said excitedly. She went over to Amaterasu’s tail, inspecting it. “Do you mind if I take a few notes on her powers?” she asked.
Amaterasu let out a small bark of annoyance but barked again in agreement. “Ammy says sure but we’ll have to go outside.” Issun translated for the bookworm pony.
Twilight nodded. “Alright. I think I know a good spot to try it. The area outside the town centre is pretty large and clear. Plus I think since Pinkie is bringing the rest of my friends over. Showing your powers would be the perfect time for me to examine them.”
“Alright! Come on Ammy, let’s go!” Issun said, jumping back onto her. Amaterasu barked and headed outside.
Twilight smiled as she watched the poncle and the sun god head out of the library. Going upstairs, she looked around and saw Spike organizing some books. “So, how did it go Twilight?” he asked.
“It was pretty interesting. Amaterasu and Issun offered to demonstrate some of her powers to show us. But first, take a letter Spike.”

As Twilight and Spike made their way to the centre of town, she noticed a large crowd gathering around something and when she reached the front, she found her friends already there watching Issun and Amaterasu, who were just sitting there waiting.
“Oh Twilight, you’re finally here. Would you care to explain why these two are sitting out here?” Rairty asked her.
Twilight looked at her, mildly surprised. “You’re not going to ask who or what they are?”
Applejack looked at Twilight and shook her head. “We already heard it from Rainbow and Pinkie Pie. Ah think that’s enough information.” she said, looking back at the strangers.
Amaterasu barked, wagging her tail as she saw Twilight and went over to the small crowd of ponies. Twilight’s friends backed away warily. “Sheesh, these guys are pretty scared of us. At least they’re not as afraid as the guys in Kamiki Village 100 years in that past. But anyway, hey Twilight! Do you want us to show you what we can do?” Issun asked.
Twilight shook her head “Just wait for a moment. I sent a letter to the princess and hopefully they’ll both come soon enough.”
As soon as she finished speaking, a large white alicorn with a rainbow mane along with a dark blue alicorn with a starry night sky mane came in on a chariot pulled by guards. “Whoa, so I’m guessing the large white one with the rainbow mane is Celestia! Heh, she’s pretty much your counterpart eh Furball?” Issun asked as everypony around them bowed. Amaterasu barked in agreement and looked at the two regal sisters. “But who’s the other one?”
As the two alicorns made their way over to the sun goddess and poncle, the dark blue alicorn looked at the wolf questioningly. “So thou art a sun goddess like thy sister?” she asked. The white wolf tipped her head to the side in confusion.
Celestia smiled. “What Luna meant to say was; are you the one that can control the Sun?” she explained, looking at the midnight princess.
“Oh that!” Issun said, “Yeah, this here is Ammy! She can do a lot of things! Why don’t you show everyone some of your more harmless brush techniques? Let’s start off with Crescent and then Sunrise!” Amaterasu nodded and drew the moon in the sky, startling everypony when the sun suddenly disappeared and the moon took the sun’s place.
“How have thou replaced thy sister’s sun with thine moon?” Luna asked, clearly shocked as she stared at the moon.
“Oh, that was easy! It was just Amaterasu’s crescent technique!” Issun explained. “Hey Ammy, how about we show them your sunrise brush technique?” he asked. Amaterasu barked and drew the sun back in the sky.
Celestia looked at the sun with great interest. “That is amazing. Only Luna and I can control the sun and moon! You seem very familiar Amaterasu.” she added in the end as all the townsfolk and Luna looked at the bored wolf in awe.
“We have a lot more brush techniques with us too! Let’s bloom that tree over there!” he said, bouncing over to a dead tree nearby. Amaterasu then performed the bloom technique on the tree while Twilight studied it.
“Amazing!” the lavender pony said as she took a few samples of the revived tree. “This tree was compeletly dead and you brought it back to life! That bloom technique could be useful!” she said.
“Yes well, I think that is just impossible! I don’t believe such a pure white wolf could possibly do all that!” Rarity said grumpily despite admiring the wolf’s coat.
“There’s another thing bloom can do to! We can also use it to cheer people up! Why don’t you show them Ammy?” The poncle asked. Amaterasu barked and drew bloom around Rarity.
“Why… This is simpily divine! I feel so happy! Almost as happy as Pinkie Pie.” she said in a now cheerful tone.
“Yeah, cheers others right up!” Issun said bouncing back to Amaterasu. “There are a lot more powers that Ammy has but these are pretty much the basics. The rest are used more often when we fight demons! Uh… Rainbow Dash there saw us fighting some earlier!”
Rainbow Dash smiled “Yeah! That fight was so awesome too!” she said excitedly. “Hey… why did it get cold all of the sudden?” she asked as everypony there started shivering.
Amaterasu looked around suddenly, alert as suddenly, a team of two green imps, one red imp, and two blue imps appeared in front of her, making a large red barrier appear around the sun goddess and the demons. “Oh boy, here we go again Ammy!” Issun said.
Amaterasu barked and leaped at the green imps, taking both of them out easily and using their flora finishers in a matter of seconds. “Hey Ammy, how about we give these guys a show they’ll never forget? It’d be the perfect time to show them some of your moves!”
Amaterasu barked in agreement and attacked the red imp, once she made contact twice; the imp raised its instrument to protect itself. The goddess then power slashed it, destroying the imp’s weapon and stunning it. Amaterasu then finished it off with her reflector and used its flora finisher, causing it to burst into flowers like the green imps. Suddenly without warning, the blue imps dived bombed the pair, breaking a little of Amaterasu’s godhood barrier. “Alright folks! This one is galestorm!” Issun yelled to the surrounding ponies around the barrier.
Amaterasu growled and drew galestorm, knocking the imps down. Amaterasu rushed forward and finished off the blue imps before they could recover. Amaterasu then used galestorm one last time on them and the two imps disappeared, the items they had drawing towards her. Once the last imp was finished, the barrier disappeared and the whole crowd of ponies surrounded them.
“That was amazing!”
“Oh my… Are you all right? If you don’t mind me asking that is…”
“That was so awesome!”
“That was simply fantastic!”
“Ya all right their partner?”
“Good job Amaterasu! That was the best fight ever!”
Celestia and Luna then approached the Okami. “You have done well Amaterasu. I have to say; those were some impressive moves there with your divine instrument. It goes well with those markings you have there,” Princess Celestia said.
“Wait, you can see Ammy’s true form?” Issun asked, surprised “I guess it makes sense, seeing as how you’re celestial beings and all.”
Applejack looked at Celestia with a confused expression on her face “What do ya mean you can see Ammy’s true form? She looks like a timber wolf with white fur to us!”
Celestia chuckled “Well as Luna and I are celestial beings, we are able to recognize Amaterasu’s true form. And I have to say Amaterasu, you look amazing” she said.
Rarity looked at the wolf “Is there a way so we can see her true form?” she asked.
“Well, there are 2 ways. One way is to truly believe in Ammy. And the other is just seeing from a painting.” Issun said bouncing over to the now sleeping Amaterasu “I drew this picture awhile back, about a month ago when Ammy had to go do something.” He continued throwing some paintings of her.
Twilight picked up one of the paintings and the rest of her friends crowded around her “Ammy looks so awesome in this picture!” Rainbow said.
“I must say, with that mirror on her back in flames, it does match well with the rest of her.” Rarity said, noticing the reflector.
“If I can, can I keep this picture?” Fluttershy asked. “But it’s okay if I can’t.”
Issun jumped over to them “Nah, it’s fine. If you guys want, I can give you all copies of this picture! I am a wandering artist after all! Plus I’ve got some extra left over from before!” he said.
Rainbow went over and picked one of them up “This is so awesome! I’m going to put this up in my house!” she said and the other ponies around them said similar things.
Celestia levitated one of the pictures over to herself “I’d like to keep one of these too. The artwork has a lot of feeling put into them,” she said.
Issun bounced back to Amaterasu. “Heh heh, yeah. I made them to have the people of our world believe in Ammy when she was in deep trouble. When we all prayed, Ammy was restored to full strength.” he said.
Suddenly, a large and familiar roar was heard throughout the whole town. A battered group of armored ponies ran over to Celestia, coming from the nearby forest where Amaterasu, Issun, and Waka had come from. “Your highness! We have just come back from the Everfree forest. The one making all the noise is a large and strange dragon called Orochi! We tried to attack it but we couldn’t make a single dent in his hide with our weapons!” one of them said.
“Orochi? Bah! We can take care of him easily. Just tell us where he his and he’ll be gone!” Issun said, drawing out his sword. Amaterasu woke up and barked in agreement.
“Fido? What are you doing here? Also, what happened?” A voice asked behind them.
Amaterasu, Issun, and all the ponies around looked at the source of the voice. Sitting there was Susano, now awake and carrying his golden wooden sword on his back.
“It’s the monster! Everypony run!” one of the ponies cried out.
Soon, it was just Amaterasu, Issun, Celestia, Luna, a few guards, Twilight and her friends left with the confused Susano “Hey pops! So you’re finally up, huh?” Issun asked.
Susano yawned. “Yeah. I was in the middle of ridding this town of demons! This has to be the work of some demon like Orochi!” he said. “Looks like I woke up in time from my secret technique, Susano Sleeping-Monk style!”
“Woah there pops!” Issun warned as the celestial princess lit up their horns, prepared to attack the human. “You just ended up in some sort of different place! These guys are friendly! Also, how the heck did ya get here anyway?”
Susano looked at them carefully “Well, I was practicing using my Celestial Cleaver in Kamiki Village when suddenly, a hole opened up near me and sucked me inside!” he said, putting his hand to his chin as he thought back.
“Oh. Well Susano, I think we might need your help for a few things. Orochi is back and he’s terrorizing this village!” Issun said.
Susano started shaking. “O-Orochi is back?” he asked composing himself. He cleared his throat “Of course I’ll help! But I need some practice first, I feel a little weaker after going through that hole.”
Celestia and Luna smiled, powering down their horns. “Then it’s settled, The Elements of Harmony, Susano, and Amaterasu will go to the ancient castle. Luna and I hope you know how to take care of him?”
Issun bounced onto Amaterasu. “Yeah, no sweat! Me and Ammy already took him on two times together!” Amaterasu barked in agreement.

Chapter 4: The Walk to Orochi
Chapter 4: The walk to Orochi
“Susano style blade of truth!” a voice yelled out throughout the small town of Ponyville as a lone figure sliced a dummy in half. The figure took a few deep breaths as the top half of the dummy fell down to the ground “I think I’m starting to get the hang of things again” he muttered.
Amaterasu and the mane 6 wandered up to him once he finished, wanting to check up on how he was doing.
“Hi Susano!” Pinkie said cheerfully as she bounced around him.
“Are you ready to head out pops?” Issun asked as Susano put his sword on his back and faced them, crossing his arms.
“What?” He asked, a little surprised from the visiting group. “Yes, I’m ready to go fight Orochi once again.” Susano said, putting his sword onto his back, making his way over to the group.
“Great! Now let’s quickly head over to the entrance to the Everfree Forest! Celestia sent me a letter saying that she sent one of her toughest guards to help us. Though I wonder why she only sent one.” Twilight said, levitating a letter over to them with a hint of confusion.
“There’s no need to worry! Furball here can deal with any trouble that we face!” Issun said bouncing up and down on Amaterasu’s nose.
“What are we waiting for? Hey Ammy, since we have to go there quickly, I challenge you to a race! I’d bet even you as a sun goddess can’t keep up with me!” Rainbow Dash said with a smug look.
Amaterasu barked and got into a crouching position “Heh heh, you haven’t seen Ammy race anyone! Heck, she might be even faster that you!” Issun said.
“I can’t believe you would think of racing at a time like this!” Rarity said as she and the rest of them started walking toward their destination.
“All right then. Ready, set, go!” Rainbow Dash yelled as she and Amaterasu sped off toward the Everfree.
Applejack shook her head; amused “that’s our Rainbow Dash alright. Quick and with a love for races.”
Susano laughed, “That rainbow pony is going to have a hard time racing against Fido, she even beat the fastest mail carries in Nippon! I don’t really know how she does it but your friend won’t find Fido easy to beat.”
Rainbow Dash was flying at ease, passing around trees easily. She chuckled to herself with a smug grin “That Ammy won’t be able to catch up with the fastest flier in Equestia that easily. No matter what powers she has.” she said, confident she was winning.
Suddenly, a white blur flashed beside Rainbow and soon found Amaterasu running neck to neck with her, slowly gaining speed.
“Hey, I’m impressed Ammy, didn’t expect you to catch up with me! Guess I can’t go easy on you huh?” Rainbow Dash asked and started flying faster.
Amaterasu barked and, unknown to Rainbow, she then used her mist bush technique and soon was ahead of Rainbow by a few yards.
Rainbow looked at Amaterasu in amazement “What the hay?” she asked and started speeding up even more to do a Sonic Rainbow when she suddenly realized that a lone guard was waiting for them was a little ahead.
Rainbow Dash grumbled a bit with the guard being in the way and kept at a maximum speed to avoiding making a Sonic Rainbow but to her surprise, Amaterasu won.
Amaterasu barked, her tail wagging at Rainbow Dash who was slowly hovering over them. “I…Lost!” Rainbow Dash said in utter shock.
Issun bounced on Amaterasu’s head. “Hey, that race wasn’t that bad. You actually race a lot faster than most of the mailmen back at Nippon! Heck, some of them cheat by throwing stuff at us.”
Rainbow flew down onto the ground; looking down and kicking one of her front hooves lightly. “I hate losing!”
“Aw, Cheer up Rainbow! You were going against Full-Throttle Ammy here! Ammy’s the fastest thing in Nippon!” Issun continued, “Besides, if Ammy didn’t use some of her powers, heck, we’d probably lose.” he said
Rainbow Dash looked up and cheered up a bit at this information. “Yeah, I guess so.”
A sudden cough interrupted them. “Excuse me but are you the Elements of Harmony? Princess Celestia sent me to help out.” the guard was a mare.
Rainbow and Amaterasu both looked at the mare, a Pegasus guard. “Wha- oh yeah. The rest of us are going to be coming along soon.” Rainbow said, looking back at the direction they raced from.
The guard dipped her head and soon, the rest of the mane 6 and Susano came.
Issun looked at the guard. “So now that we’re all here, how come that princess only sent you? Don’t you guys have some sort of army or something?” He asked her with interest.
“That is a good question. However Amaterasu and Issun, I’ll be all the help that you need.” The mare simply said.
Twilight stepped forward from the group toward the mare. “Well, what’s your name?” she asked the armoured mare.
“My name? My name is Sky Light,” she said, wielding a spear that she had.
Rainbow Dash smiled. “Cool name. By the way, my name is-“
“Rainbow Dash.” Sky Light said and looked at the group from left to right “You’re Twilight Sparkle, Rarity, Applejack and Fluttershy.” she said to each of them easily and Fluttershy gave a small sound like a greeting. “You’re Pinkie Pie, and you’re Susano.” the Pegasus guard finished.
“Whoa lady, slow down. How did you even know our names?” Issun asked with a hint of suspicion while Amaterasu tipped her head slightly to the side.
“I was briefed by Princess Celestia quick details about who I was meeting and what they looked like.” Sky Light explained and looked toward the direction to the old castle in the forest. “Enough talking, shall we continue our chat while we head
toward our destination?” she asked as she bounded a little toward the old castle.
The whole group agreed. “Why of course silly! That’s why we have to go get that meanie Orochi guy! If we don’t then maybe that yellow maned person like Susano will have to take care of Orochi by himself! Also, did you know that he can fly with that awesome hat that he has? How cool is that? I mean, Fluttershy and Rainbow can easily fly but that yellow maned guy can fly pretty far too! Maybe not as fast as Dashie but he can still fly! I wanted to talk to him but he flew away before I could get to him…” Pinkie said, continuing to ramble on.
Sky Light and the group looked at Pinkie with confusion, unable to really hear what she was saying with the speed at which she spoke. “Erm…” Rarity said, looking over at Pinkie who was still talking. “I think she means that we should get there fast”.
Sky Light nodded to them. “Okay then, let’s move on forward.” she said, taking the lead while everyone followed behind.
Amaterasu looked back at Pinkie who was still rambling away. “…And then I said oatmeal? Are you crazy?” Pinkie said but stopped, realizing everyone was going ahead without her. “Whoops, my bad.” she said, smiling as she and Amaterasu rejoined the group.
Twilight looked over at Amaterasu and Issun as they and Pinkie joined back to the group. “So Issun, What’s it like in your world?” she asked.
Issun jumped off of Amaterasu and then onto Twilight. “Well for starters, the animals back home don’t talk at all. Heck, this Everfree Forest place reminds me of a place I used to live… except with a lot more snow and cold.” he explained. “Plus, your town really reminds me of Kamiki Villiage!”
Twilight smiled once he finished. “I’d love to study the differences between our worlds. Your world just seems so foreign! Just think of all the possibilities if we can learn from each other!” Twilight said, getting a little excited.
Issun and Susano chuckled. “You have no idea about the bad things in our world too. There are so many foul demons just running amok! Earlier, one of the demons’ leader killed Queen Himiko, one of our rulers, but Fido here managed to defeat her.” Susano explained as Amaterasu wagged her tail and barked.
“Heh, yeah! Fox-face was just destroyed by Ammy!” Issun added in.
“A fox?” Fluttershy asked, surprised and frightened at the thought of an animal getting hurt.
“Ah, don’t worry Flutter! It wasn’t like any of your animals that you have at your house! It was just a nine tailed demon fox.” Issun explained.
Twilight looked a little crestfallen “Oh. I guess your world does have its violence after all. But I’m pretty sure we can defend ourselves.”
Issun chuckled, jumping back onto Amaterasu. “Yeah, I guess you can.”
After a long conversation, the group of 8 finally reached a large broken building, a familiar barrier blocking their way in.
“Dang it! There’s something blocking our way in!” Issun said while Amaterasu tried to paw at the barrier.
Applejack looked inside through the transparent barrier and saw something dark and swirling around in a circle near the pedestals where the Elements of Harmony once were. “Uh, ah think ah see something strange inside there. It’s swirling around like some sort of cloud or fog.”
Susano looked in as well and reeled back a bit. “That looks like the same thing that brought me to this world!” he exclaimed.
“But there’s something off about it though.” Issun said, studying it. “It feels like it’s cursed or has a lot of demonic energy coming from it…”
“Hey! Maybe Orochi hid himself behind that thing! After all, the guards did look like they were in complete shock when they came back! Heck, maybe they went into that portal!” Issun continued.
As soon at the poncle finished, there was a familiar flute tune that played in the air and the whole group looked around, searching for the source in confusion.
“That is correct my bouncing friend.” A familiar voice said as the music died out and a figure suddenly appeared before them, facing away from them. The figure then faced Amaterasu “Bonjour ma chérie” The figure said, facing them.
“Waka! What are you doing here?” Issun demanded angrily at him. Twilight and the others looked at the Moon Tribe man curiously while Rarity looked at him, surprised at his clothing.
“What am I doing here? Perhaps I’m here just to help you along?” Waka said with a small shrug. “I see you have helped the Elements of Harmony. That is good Amaterasu.” he continued.
Twilight stepped forward “how do you know who we are?” she asked, confused.
Waka looked at the purple mare “How? I’m a prophet, it allows me to glimpse at the future. Quite handy most of the time, especially for Amaterasu.”
Amaterasu barked. “Bah! We don’t even need your stupid prophecies! Whenever they do happen! It’s too late!” Issun grumbled.
Waka chuckled. “Is that so? Well, I love saying prophecies to the two of you. You have so many enemies ahead and it will get quite difficult. In fact, that reminds me why I came here.” he said, pulling his flute out and a beam of light green energy came out of one end of the flute, startling the ponies and Susano while Amaterasu got into a battle stance, growling at Waka. “I haven’t tasted your power for a long time. Perhaps you would like to show me Amaterasu?” he challenged her.
Amaterasu growled at him. “You’re on pretty boy!” Issun yelled at him. “Come on Ammy, let’s give these folks a show they’ll never forget!”
Then, a large barrier surrounded Waka and Amaterasu. The ponies and human gathered behind, watching in worry at the battle that was about to take place in front of them, talking about the strange blonde man.
Starting the fight off, Waka floated up a little off the ground and did a tornado spin at Amaterasu. Amaterasu slowed time down and dodged out of the way just as Waka hit the barrier. Instead of stopping, Waka continued to charge after them using his energy sword as a tornado.
Amaterasu growled and put 3 cherry bombs around Waka as soon as he was finished, throwing him off of his feet and onto the ground, stunned.
Amaterasu, slowed down time as she rushed over to Waka and hit him many times with her Solar Flare. The ponies watched the fight from outside the barrier, noticing Waka getting badly hurt. Rarity looked worryingly at him. “My, their little scuffle will get his clothes all dirty!” she said.
Waka then got up and threw three small swords at Amaterasu. Caught off guard, Amaterasu got hit by two of them but managed to hit the third back with Power Slash.
Waka landed on his back, stunned once again and Amaterasu ran back, trying to deal as much damage as possible. Then, it was over. Waka recovered and the barrier surrounding them disappeared. He jumped onto a tree branch, watching as the ponies surrounded Amaterasu and praised her. “My my,” Waka said, sweating and breathing heavily. “you sure have improved greatly since the last time we fought.”
Twilight faced Waka. “Why can’t you just be friends with Ammy? If the two of you are allies, why do you fight?” she asked him.
Waka looked at the purple unicorn. “It’s simple really, to improve is to challenge yourself with things to do. Amaterasu has strengthened as well and I wanted to see it for myself.”
“Oh my… Are you all right? I-If it’s okay for me to ask?” Fluttershy said quietly to Waka.
Waka shrugged. “Not only did I come here to face Amaterasu, I have a prophecy to deliver too.” he said. “Listen carefully to the young maidens calling, the voice of worry will bring you home.” Waka said, doing a few motions.
The 7 ponies and Susano looked at Waka in confusion. “What exactly does that mean?” Sky Light demanded.
“Only time will tell. I’m pretty sure you know what to do to get though the barrier?” Waka asked Amaterasu.
Amaterasu barked, “Yeah we remember! We remembered how you stole that Serpant Crystal from us too!” Issun said angrily.
Waka shrugged “Once you find the Serpant Crystal, come back here and I’ll open the doorway.” he said and disappeared with a few shimmers of where he was just standing.
“Bah! That prophet makes no sense at all! Who even is the maiden anyway?” Issun asked angrily.
Rainbow Dash looked around. “I don’t know but we need to get to your world as fast as possible!” she said, worry in her eyes.
“Yeah! Once we beat that meanie Orochi, I can throw us all a “Giant 8 headed demon dragon is now gone party!” Pinkie said in her usual enthusiastic mood.
Issun smiled. “Well, wouldn’t want to miss that party after missing the Kamiki Festival right Ammy?” he asked her. Amaterasu just barked in agreement at Issun’s words.

Chapter 5: A Familiar Place
As the group searched around the castle, Issun just sighed in frustration “This is just hopeless! How the heck are we suppose to get back to Nippon?” he asked the group in his frustration.
Twilight thought carefully for a while, thinking back to the encounter with the strange man “Well, Waka did say something about a maiden calling. Maybe, we should wait here for a bit and try to hear for it.”
“I guess we can try that. But my pinkie sense is telling me the portal is behind those bushes!” Pinkie said suddenly as she bounced toward them.
“Pinkie what now? What’s that?” Issun asked Twilight as Amaterasu tipped her head to the side in confusion.
Twilight giggled in response “Don’t ask or try to understand it, it’ll make your head hurt” she said to the confused poncle.
“Oh” Issun said, puzzled “Well, I don’t want to get into any of that so I’ll trust you guys for that.”
Twilight smiled “Everypony…err everyone come back here please!” she called and soon, the group all returned together from their own searches as they gathered around.
“Did ya find the portal Twi?” Applejack as when they were all together again.
Twilight hesitated before giving Applejack a nod “Well, Pinkie says that her pinkie sense tells her it’s over there” she said and pointed toward the mentions bushes.
Sky Light went over to the bushes to check it out and stopped, hearing a young woman call out “I think I can hear somepony calling” she said to the group.
The whole group stayed silent and listened carefully “Susano? Where are you?” a faint voice called out from between two trees behind them.
“That sounds like Kushi!” Susano said suddenly and ran over to where the direction of the voice was coming from “Im coming Kushi!” he called out, running, before suddenly disappearing.
The ponies, poncle, and wolf looked there in shock once he was gone “whoa! Where the heck did pops go?” Issun asked to no one in particular.
“Ah dunno. Should we investigate?” Applejack asked, worried and the whole group nodded in agreement to her.
“We should. I wonder what could have happened to him. Do you think that area might be where the portal is?” Twilight asked, stepping forward and looked at the group
“But darling, what if it’s not a portal and something bad happened to that ruffian Susano?” Rarity asked, clearly worried as she looked around at the group.
Ammy then suddenly got into a attack stance “Oh no Ammy, not again!” Issun cried out before Ammy leapt into the portal and the two of them disappeared.
Twilight sighed, “Come on girls” she said and looked at the 6 other mares.
They nodded. Rarity was a bit hesitant “But what is even on the other side of that thing?” she questioned.
Rainbow Dash smirked as she fly next to Rarity and flew toward it “Only one way to find out!” she called out before flying in and disappearing.
“wee!” Pinkie happily said as she bounced toward in the portal and disappeared right behind Rainbow. Twilight, Applejack, Fluttershy, and Rarity soon went in too after.
Soon, Skylight was the only pony left and sighed, checking her equipment before entering the portal after the others, wincing slightly at a sudden brightness that covered her entire vision as she entered the foreign world.
Twilight groaned in pain, her eyes closed as she layed on the ground in the foreign world. She forced her eyes open as she took in what she saw in the world, finding herself on some sort of wooden platform on a cliff. As she looked around, she only saw the ponies but no sign of Amaterasu and Susano and panicked, getting up.
“Amaterasu? Susano?” she called out, waking the others from her shouting.
Fluttershy looked around a bit fearfully “A-are we in Ammy’s world?” she asked to no one in particular.
Sky Light has her eyes closed in pain but responded immediately to Fluttershy’s question took a good look around them, spotting a large tree in the distance. “I believe so, I don’t remember anywhere like this on an Equestrian map”
Pinkie smiled as she bounced around tehm“Wee! A new world! I wonder what kind of parties are here!”
Twilight sighed “Pinkie, we’re not here to have parties with Ammy’s people.” She said.
The party pony looked a bit down “aww” she said before suddenly cheering up “Hey! What if afterward, we can through a ‘we saved two worlds from Orochi’ party!”
Twilight chuckled a bit “I guess maybe afterward we can do that”
Applejack looked around the group “Uh Twilight? Where are that Susano guy and Ammy?” she questioned.
Fluttershy spoke “um. I think they went that way. They left tracks here from where they were” she said quietly as she flew over to the spoken tracks.
Sky Light went over and inspected the tracks, narrowing her eyes slightly as she took note of them “She’s right, those are their foot and paw prints alright” she confirmed.
“Should we really keep following those two in their world? Who knows what could be out there!” Rarity spoke with worry in her voice as she looked around the area. "We might even get lost and dirty!"
Sky Light frowned, the light blue pegasus looking at the sky, seeing the moon high up in the sky. “Stay here” the guard ordered “I’ll scout ahead to look for them and if not, hopefully receive aid from the natives in this land”
Twilight nodded as the other ponies gathered themselves up from the ground “Agreed, stay safe Sky Light”
Sky Light gave her a small nod before heading down the path from the wooden platform. Once she was out of earshot, she sighed a little as she continued down the stone path “ I wonder where those two could be” she muttered to herself before glancing back at the large blossom tree in the distance “And I wonder why this place seems familiar… It’s not like Equestria has a surplus of giant blossom trees…”
In Kamiki Villiage
“Susanno!” cried out a woman with a comb shaped hair as she spotted a familiar wolf and man come down from the path.
“Kushi!” the man called back in excitement as he ran faster, leaving a small dust trail behind him while the wolf and small poncle on her head looked on with amusement.
“Well, there goes Pops. As much as Pops is useful to us, we need to get that Serpant Crystal!” the poncle spoke and soon after, Amaterasu barked in agreement. “Right! But where would it be? I think Princess Fuse has it, doesn’t she?” Issun asked with a hint of uncertainly. “After all, we don’t know what exactly happened after we used it on the Moon Cave’s entrance”
Ammy looked on silently in the village before barking something to Issun. “Hrm? You want to bring something for the Equestrains? That’s a great idea Ammy! We should go get them the Orange’s cakes! I’d bet they’d enjoy that!”
Amaterasu barked again in agreement before heading over to Mr. and Mrs. Orange’s house, Mrs Orange in there as usual.
“Hello there Amaterasu!” she greeted the wolf warmly “My, it’s been a long time since we’ve seen you! After the Day of Darkness, I’d thought that you would’ve gone to the Celestial Plain! Here, have some of my cakes for your travels” she said, handing some over to Amaterasu.
Amaterasu wagged her tail, giving her a grateful bark before heading outside of the house, the food kept in her inventory as she started heading back to the ponies.
As the two of them headed back up toward the wooden platform, they were surprised to see Sky Light sitting by herself along the path under a few trees as she looked at the view.
Amaterasu tipped her head slightly to the side before heading over to the mare, wondering why she was there as she made a bark.
At the sound of the bark, Sky Light turned around in surprise, spear in her hoof as she pointed it at Amaterasu and the wolf jumped back in surprise. “Woah there Sky! It’s us!” Issun said quickly to her, trying to diffuse the situation before anyone made a wrong move.
Sky Light lowered her weapon, letting out a relieved sigh “Sorry, training with the guard has put me on the edge, I'm aiming to become Captain of the Royal Guard you know” she added.
Amaterasu sat down during her explanation, looking at her with curiosity “Captain of the Royal Guard?” Issun asked her.
Sky Light nodded, chuckling lightly “Yes. It’s a tough position to achieve and other guards are always competing for that spot” she said thoughtfully “Heck, there was even one kid that I can think of becoming a Captain, I think his name was Shinning Shield or Armor… I don’t really know but he’s becoming pretty popular with the Unicorn Division. For me, I aim to be Captain of the Pegasus Force obviously” she said, spreading her wings a little to show them.
Issun and Ammy looked at her with curiosity “That’s great and all but why tell us this?” Issun asked her with interest.
Sky Light froze a little, not knowing how to respond to how she blurted out her ambitions. But she then shrugged “I don’t know actually… Never really told anyone about it before but I felt that I should tell you about myself…” She muttered, looking away as she wondered to herself, why exactly she told these aliens all that information "Maybe because even after knowing you two for a little while, you sure have a way to get ponies talking to you".
Issun thought about what she said before shrugged afterward “I can see that. Well anyway, what are you doing out here?” he asked her.
She looked back over at him “Huh? Oh… Well, I was going to look for the two of you after we came into the portal onto a wooden platform after you but I guess now that you’re here, I don’t have to."
“Oh” Issun responded in a bit of surprise, “Hope you guys had a nice landing. Me, Ammy, and Susanno didn't. Well, we also brought some food for you guys from Kamiki. Come on before the food spoils” he said. Amaterasu barked in agreement before continuing up the path to where Twilight and the others were waiting.
Sky Light stood there for a minute, reflecting on what she has spoken about to the sun goddess and poncle ‘Why did I suddenly tell them that… Could it be that they?... No… Impossible… They never met me before and I’m sure that it wasn’t those two who helped me all those years ago when I was a filly…"
“Hey Sky! You coming or what?” Issun’s voice driffed over to her, snapping her out of her thoughts.
"Yeah! I'll be right there!" She responded back to him. She sighed, then gave her head a small shake, closing her eyes as she focused on what she was suppose to do before looking back and following the pair back.

Chapter 6: A Good Explanation
As the trio headed back to the same platform that they came from, Amaterasu and Issun were slightly surprised to see that the group was already awake and fine, chatting away with a familiar tree sprite, Amaterasu stopped in surprise and looked at her, having not seen her for such a long time.
“Sakuya?” Issun called in surprise, Amaterasu barked in excitement and raced over to the group, Sky Light following behind them, looking at the tree sprite with awe.
As the group talked and converged a little, Amaterasu and Issun learned that shortly after Sky Light had left, Sakuya had appeared infront of the six ponies, confused on where they had come from but was brought up to speed by Twilight.
Sakuya smiled at Issun and Amaterasu once the conversation died down “Hello again Amaterasu and Issun, I hope that you’ve been enjoying your time on the Celestial Plain”
Amaterasu barked happily, wagging her tail in response while Issun chuckled “Well, I don’t know what Furball here got into while on the Celestial Plain but we’ve been pretty busy in their world!” he said, bouncing over to Twilight “Heck, even Yami came back recently and started destroying their world!”
Sakuya raised her right hind on her face in surprise “That is a surprise” she admitted to the group “Though, I knew that something was wrong when I noticed that not long ago, Yami’s forces of darkness suddenly started appearing again but disappeared as quickly as they appeared… And I had felt from that moment that the powers between good and evil has shifted considerably, a large portion of darkness now gone as it is now unbalanced”
Twilight took a step forward with uncertainty “But isn’t that good? Since they will be less evil in this world?” she asked, giving Amaterasu a confused glance before looking back at Sakuya.
Sakuya sighed, shaking her head slowly “Yes. But, there must always be a balance between good and evil. And there will be consequences to the other side too… To restore balance.”
Issun stopped bouncing a little, taking her words into consideration before jumping around again as usual “Well, we’ll have to worry about that when the time comes and first things first. Come on guys, we got a Serpent Crystal to find!”
The seven mares nodded, all smiling in determination except for Sky Light, who was giving Issun a strange look, like she was pondering about something before Issun snapped her out of it and forced a determined smile onto her face.
Issun then bounced back over to Amaterasu, who had fallen asleep through out the whole talk, and jumped on top of her head “Hey Ammy! Wake up!” he yelled, stirring up the okami who woke with a yawn. “Come on Ammy, we’re leaving now!”
Amaterasu growled lowly at Issun in annoyance but got up on her paws anyway, looking around the group to see that indeed, they were heading out now.
After saying a quick good bye, and a few questions from Twilight, the group started to descend from the mountain from the portal and the mares asked Sky Light questions about herself.
“So… Sky Light… How did you join the guard?” Fluttershy asked, the shy Pegasus flying right next to Sky Light, the red maned light blue Pegasus, who was flying as well “If you don’t mind me asking” she added in quickly afterward and nervously.
Sky Light looked over gave her a smile to reassure her “I don’t mind at all actually” she said, looking back ahead “To be truthful, I was born into the guard, been training my whole life”
“Wait, how were you in there your whole life?” Rainbow Dash asked in pure surprise “Wouldn’t your parents have gotten mad at you for doing that?”
Sky Light sighed, lowering her head in shame “Well, I was an orphan, found near the barracks of the castle with no one around me” the down pegasus explained “And since no one knew who I was and no one looked for me, I was taken into the guard rather than an orphanage” she continued “I think Celestia probably took pity on me and decided to keep me around… In my own opinion”
Twilight frowned “Im sure Celestia would’ve had a good reason to let you stay” she said, glancing at the others in the group “After all, you’re our friend now, so you don’t have to worry about it”
Sky Light stopped in her tracks, looking at them in confusion “Friends? W-well… I never had a friend before, growing up by myself in Canterlot” she muttered.
Twilight giggled in response “It was the same for me. I didn’t have any friends, or even thought about having one, before I met these five” she smiled, looking toward the other element bearers, who smiled back.
Applejack nodded “After this is done and that Orochi character gets defeated, ya’ll should come over to the barn and have some fun with us” she suggested. “Maybe even for a little get together during this up coming cider season”
Issun, hearing the conversation, bounced over to Applejack from Amaterasu’s back “Hey! Are Ammy and I invited?” he asked her.
She chuckled in response “Of course ya can. I did say that ya’ll can come over”
“Oh. Right” Issun said with a hint of embarrassment as the other mares laughed. Even Amaterasu seemed to have an entertained grin on her face.
“Well, here we are… over at the bottom of the mountain and right at the edge of Kamiki village” Issun said, trying to quickly change the topic as he bounced back over to Amaterasu “We should hurry up and pick up the pace. Normally, it would take around a day to get the Serpant Crystal but one of Ammy’s powers, Mist Warp, can get us there in a flash once we get to that Ultimate Mirror!” he said as Amaterasu looked toward the direction of it.
“Wow! That’s super-duper awesome! I mean, it would be awesome for a lot of ponies if they could just teleport to wherever they want to go right? I mean, it would be so cool to do that instead of running!” Pinkie Pie cheerfully said, bouncing toward the mirror.
Issun laughed lightly “Probably so. It saves time, that’s for sure. But, the only problem is that only Ammy here can use them”
Pinkie then looked a little sadden at the news “Awww… That makes it less fun if you’re not Ammy!”
Issun shrugged at Pinkie’s response “I guess so” he admitted.
“Well then what are we waiting for? Let’s go! Race you there Ammy and AJ!” Rainbow Dash challenged before speeding off.
Applejack smirked as she took off and adjusted her hat “Don’t mind if ah do partner” she called before running after her.
Amaterasu barked excitedly at the challenge before racing toward the mirror too, the other half of the group behind them as they followed in amusement.
Once the whole group reached the origin mirror, the second group of ponies found that the three racers were arguing loudly, save Amaterasu who was barking.
“Ah won that fair and square Rainbow!”
“No, I clearly got here before the two of you!”
“Bark! Bark!”
“Hey guys, I think it’s obvious that Ammy and I won! After all, she does have her Mist technique”
Twilight giggled in amusement as she then took her attention to the strange mirror, taking a step toward it and catching the attention of the racers.
“Oh hey guys” Rainbow Dash smirked “I see that you finally caught up with us”
Rairty huffed “Well, if you can see. There’s a lot of dirt around here and I’d rather not fall and get myself dirty”
Rainbow then rolled her eyes “Whatever you say”
Twilight smiled but then looked over at the Ultimate Mirror. She then took a hesitant step onto the stone platform and looked into the mirror “So how does this work exactly? It looks like any old mirror to me… Besides the stone, on the ground, in front of it” she said as the other mares muttered their agreements.
Issun made a tiny smirk at the comment, unseen because of his size, and jumped off of Amaterasu “Well, first we’ll all have to get on the mirror first, then just let Ammy do her thing”
Sky Light nodded “Alright then” she said, looking around the group, frowning slightly when she only counted five other ponies “Where did Fluttershy go?”
“Over here” a quiet and almost unaudio voice called over to them
The group looked over toward the direction of the shy pegasus’ voice and smiled, seeing her with a few rabbits around her.
“I guess your animal talent works here too huh?” Rainbow Dash smirked, flying a little over to her “Come on! We’re about to go Fluttershy!”
Fluttershy hesitated “Well, I spoke to him and he asked if he could have some food” she responded, pointed a hoof toward one of them.
“Alright then. Lets just hurry up though!” Issun sighed, pulling out some of the herb feed bag that he and Amaterasu had, throwing it over to Fluttershy.
Fluttershy ‘eep’ed in response at the throw but luckily caught it, smiling as she opened it and gave it to the rabbits. Once the rabbits were finished eating, Fluttershy flew over to the group, her smile still on her face “Mr. Moony says thanks for the food” she said as she landed on the platform, where the rest of the group was waiting.
Sky Light chuckled lightly, a smile of amusement forming on her face “You element bearers are pretty interesting” she commented before a small shock taking place of her smile “Not that you were interesting before! I mean that you all have different personali… ah forget it” she sighed, giving up on correcting herself, looking down at the ground in embarrassment.
She then looked up to see what the element bearers’ reactions were. What she saw was that the six other mares had broken out into a fit giggles her rambling, while Issun and Amaterasu just looked entertained as they sat nearby.
Sky Light blushed a little in embarrassment and faced Issun “I think we’re all ready to go now” she spoke for the other mares.
Issun nodded in agreement, a smirk on his face “Heh, come on Ammy, lets just use the mist warp technique to get us to Kusa village now!” Issun suggested strongly.
Amaterasu barked in agreement and a sudden bright and white flash engulfed them. In the next moment once the bright light was gone, the entire group had disappeared.
Once the group had disappeared, a dark pony shaped figure stepped out of the shadows of the night that it was hiding in, having seen the group teleport from the Ultimate Mirror.
A small scowl appeared on it’s face, having caught the sight of Amaterasu along with the other element bearers “So… She has returned to her home world, Nippon... Along with the Elements of Harmony. Well then, seems like we have much work ahead of us my minions” it spoke, turning it’s attention behind it.
Behind the dark figure, were four other similarly dark figures. One, who was larger than the rest, took a step forward “Why didn’t we just go beat them up sir?” a gruff, deep-sounding voice spoke “We shouldn’t let them retrieve that fancy crystal of theirs and fix up Equestria! We worked hard to get Yami along with that agreement of yours!”
The first figure didn’t even glance back at his follower “Because, we are to simply let them have their little fun and their hope that they can succeed in undoing the damages that I have caused. But once they get close enough to use that crystal, we’ll take it from them and smash it before they use it to dispel the barrier… Heh heh heh” he chuckled darkly at the end. “It’ll make things so much more fun when they realize that it is hopeless to resist destruction” he continued.
“Although" The figure paused "since you have doubted me, perhaps you should be the one to take their crystal from them while the rest of us weaken the seal on the chaotic being” he said icily.
The large figure frowned while the other three smirked at their co-worker's punishment “You can count on me to do the job my Lord” he responded "Though, I wish that I can see his return"
The first dark figure nodded in approval before looking at the other minions "The rest of you are to help me dispel the barrier on being's prison. Once the seal is weakened, it'll just take a little bickering and he shall be free" he said as the other figures muttered their agreements.
"Consider it done my Lord" a dark, shadowy, pegasus responded to the leader in a feminine voice "It shall all be done post haste"
The first figure remained silent for awhile before talking "Double time then. Our plans shall not fall"
The group then slowly dissolved into the shadows, heading back into Equestria.

I remember that fateful day very well... The day was beautiful and bright and was perfect

*Laugh* "Alright auntie. I'll be back before dark"
"Huh... Today seems like a fine day. Can't imagine it being any better than this"

*groan* "Ack... I think I broke one of my legs..."
*gasp* "I'm so sorry for crashing into you like that! P-please forgive me!"
"I-it's fine miss. Really. I can just go get my aunt or a hospital to fix that up."

"Not at all actually. If anyone should be the one to blame, it should be me. Should've watched where I walked to" *chuckle*
"Why aren't you angry though? I crashed into you!"
"Well, accidents happen all the time. I believe that all beings deserve a second chance"
"Well... Do you need help or something for that? I did crash into you while testing out my wings so I do feel responsible... And I have bits to spend! My mother gave them to me when I moved from Cloudsdale."
"Nah. It's alright... Though, I could use some help to get to a nearby hospital"
"Oh! Of course sir!"
"Please, you don't have to really be formal around me. I really hate it when other ponies do that. Makes me feel... Different"
"B-but you are!... In a way"
*sigh* "...Looks like no matter where I go, it's always the same"
"S-S-sorry"
*sigh* "Its fine... But thank you for being kind and trying to be friendly around me. Not many ponies really care about my well being. As long as I approve of them, that's all they care"
