chapter 1 The first strike (sort of edited)

"Try to remember it's OK were here to help"

-Star Transport- Captains log day 136: A brown Stallion with blue eyes appears on the screen his mane is a little messy from all the work he has done and is sitting in a chair "This is my one hundred and thirty six log." He starts "We have been traveling for a week in Earth time and Troton-34. Our mission is to transfer a group of citizens to a safe location on Manerock. Already some of the citizens are worried and keep on taking about him. I don't know who they are taking about but it’s strange they say he has killed many traveling ships and leave no survivors but, its only a tall tail. Even if it's real we would have heard about it before hand. Well this time is running short and i need to keep this quick so commander Karkic out."

Karkic looks at the dark screen as he sits back in his chair. a voice on the intercom shouts in the room "Commander Karkic report to the bridge immediately."

"What is it now" karkic thinks to himself. karkic gets up and starts trotting down the hall. he is greeted by many other ponies he tells them to get back to their stations and continues walking.

"Hay big brains!" shouts a familiar voice karkic turns around to see a red stallion with green eyes trotting towards him. Karkic smile to see his old friend Strong. Strong was the best men on his crew and one of his best friends. Strong was one of those won't brake under pressure and Karkic trusted him.

"Well if it you, I don't have much time. I need to get to the bridge." Karkic tells strong as he looks back at him who seemed a little surprise.

"I was also called down must be important." Strong tells Karkic.

"OK let’s not keep them waiting. I'm sure it's just a worried citizen asking how long until we arrive at the checkpoint." Karkic says as they enter the elevator.

"I thought we fix the problem yesterday." Strong corrects Karkic. as the elevator opens the crew deck was very busy. Ponies were scrambling like they were looking for something. the Deck had many stations for each pony and it

"What’s going on?" Asks Karkic as he steps in the.
"There is a unidentified ship coming onto our sector." replays the pony controlling the radar. "We are getting no connection to it and it is a big ship." as soon as the pony stops talking the incoming call light turns on.

"Well there they are" Karkic walks over to answer the call as soon as he does a disoriented figure appears on the hologram screen.

"Prepare to die." the hologram says and then turns off. A large ship comes out of light speed and fires a large beam at the ship hitting it directly.

"Dam it!" yells karkic as the bridge shakes from the impact.

"Commander the shields are at 50%." yelled the blue pony that controlled the shields "commander the shields won’t hold up another shot."

"Return fire and focus the shields on the front." karkic tells the crew. Another shot hits the hull.

"We’re at 25%." yells the blue pony again. Karkic doesn't realize three shots are homing in on their ship "one more hit at our state." the blue pony tells Karkic. The opposing ship was big and the amount of fire power that could do that would be enormous. Soon as that three pods shot out of the big ship and broke the hull and threw the shield.

"We have been breached there are opposing forces entering the main hall.”Sir we believe they are heavily armored and have large fire arms. There are mutable casualties rising by the second."

"We need to send more tropes to the breached point’s immediately." karkic tells the crew members. karkic reaches in the compartment where his gun was.

"Commander what are you doing." Yell the Blue pony as she notices the gun.

"They need my help I'm going to help them. Strong come with me. You guys know what to do." Karkic and Strong start heading out the door. When the blue pony rushes up to them.

"Commander promise me you will be safe out there." the blue pony asks karkic. She looked worried and deep inside she knew the outcome.

"Caroline don't worry." Karkic reassures her. "We will be fine. Now get back to your station.

"Sure thing captain." Caroline sighs as she returns to her post. Karkic and Strong close and lock the door behind them and continue down the hall. As they run to the enemy pods a large Station comes around the corner. He holds a worried hostage in one arm and a gun on his other hoof. Another Stallion much smaller also follows him.

"Drop him and surrender." Yells Karkic down the hall pointing his gun at the soldier. The large stallion chuckles as he fires at Karkic. Karkic takes cover on one of the parts of the walls that stuck out. Strong fires back at the smaller pony but they have taken cover also. Karkic notice the pipe of hot steam flowing on the wall. Karkic aims and fires at the pipe releasing a hot stream of steam hitting the large pony in the face.

"Ahh" he yells as he drops the hostage unconscious. karkic takes two shot to the large pony making him drop. The other pony returns fire forcing karkic to take cover again. Karkic gets a clear shot and takes him down. Karkic then heads over to the unconscious. Karkic hoists him up to the wall and tried to wake him up.

"He is out cold." Karkic tells Strong as he looks up at him. "He might wake up but we need to keep him safe." Karkic and Strong put him in a safe aria and returned heading down where the Stallions came from. They reach a pod that stabbed Threw the wall "The air is not leaking out because of the shield around the ship but when it dies the wall will be torn off."

"We better close the hall in this sector to be safe." Strong tells Karkic. Karkic and Strong walk pass the pod. The design was odd even to Karkic it was small able to hold three soldier and it was built to puncture shields without damaging them entirely. Karkic goes to the controls and manually closes the shaft and then continues on. "By the looks of the design" Strong says as they headed down the room. "There should be at most seven enemy soldiers still left." more gunshot where heard down the hall. When Karkic and Strong enter the large room they saw four more enemy soldiers in the room killing the last man in the room. Karkic opens fire and takes down one and takes cover from the bullets fired.

"Dammit were pinned down we need to be careful they took down a whole squads that means they’re strong." Karkic yells at Strong. They hear an explosion in the other room and they hear two of them being shot down. Karkic peaks to see a shot being fired from the next room. Karkic manages to take down one more before taking cover then Strong took down the last one. After the shot where fired they see a yellow non-soldier. "Dimmit!" Karkic starts to yell at the pony "This is not your fight!"

"Well you would have been dead if I didn't show up and also I had no choice three of them showed up in our cell and stared killing everypony. I barley escaped and got this gun of a dead soldier. So you owe me." none of them noticed the black armored stallion with the burnt face sneak up behind them and throw a grenade.

"Shit!" Yelled Karkic as the grenade exploded and shocked the grope. All three of them dropped to the ground and Karkic barely conscious see him walk up and bash him in the head with the head with his gun. All karkic could feel and hear he was being dragged on the floor and the shock of a large explosion shook his body.

"Is that it. I see do you know who these guys are."
