Ever-Changing Lies

Chrysalis approached Dinky and smiled. "I've been waiting for you." Dinky backed away slowly. She looked up at Chrysalis with fear. Chrysalis leered at her. "Oh no, you missunderstand me. We're not going to hurt you. Much."

"No! I'm not the one you want!" Dinky yelled, trying to understand. Chrysalis grabbed her and started to run. "NO! I'm NOT the one!" NO!" Dinky screamed in vain.

Dinky saw the dark colors of the hive, and an army of changelings. "Whaa..." They bowed to her. "Long live Princess Dinky!" Dinky sharply drew in her breath. It wasn't right. "It's not me... what's going on?"
