It was a normal day in Ponyville. Twilight was buried in her books as usual. The town library almost silent due to the lack of customers. Twilight was sitting next to her desk, magically flipping through page after page, trying to find the information she wanted. Thonk! Thonk!Twilight heard the knocking on the door to the library. "Be right there," she yelled as the mare put a bookmark on her page, got up, and walked over to the door. With her magic, she opened the door to find Rainbow Dash standing there. "Hey Rainbow Dash! How are things?" Twilight said. "Things have been great! At least for the most part. May I come in? I wanted to ask you something." Rainbow said, a mixture of cheerfulness and the feeling of being unsure filled her thoughts. Without hesitation, Twilight let her friend in and offered her a place to sit. Rainbow sat down on the couch and looked at her unicorn friend. "So, I was thinking," Rainbow paused her sentence, then continued after thinking her question over in her head. "You and I are great friends, and I have always wanted to get to know you more, Twilight. So I was thinking of inviting you over for a sleep over." Dash didn't want to think of Twilight's reply. She didn't want to believe it if her unicorn friend told her 'no'. "Sure! I don't have much left to do for my studies and I do get bored from time to time. I believe it would be great for us to enjoy a friendly night together." Twilight replied. Rainbow Dash's eyes widened with excitement, relieved that her friend told her exactly what she wanted to hear. "That's awesome! I'll go clean up my house a bit, see you over at 6 o'clock!" Rainbow said as she bolted out the door and flew toward her sky-worthy house. Twilight wondered what Rainbow Dash was so excited about. "It's just a sleep over. What's the rush?" Twilight thought as she continued her studies.
It was 5 o'clock and Rainbow Dash was cleaning furiously. She wanted her house to look spotless for Twilight. As she cleaned, she thought about why she was doing this in the first place. Her exact reasons were to confess her undying love to her friend, and concluded that she was cleaning her house to impress her. She then thought of what it would be like to live with her unicorn crush. "I don't exactly have a full library in my house, would that turn her away? That I am not as nerdy as her?" Rainbow thought as she glanced at a empty wall in her mansion-like house.
It was now 5:45. Twilight was gathering everything she wanted to take with her when she spent the night at Rainbow's. She levitated a piece of parchment and a inked quill over to her, quickly writing down and checking off what she was taking. "Books, check. New issues of Daring Do, check.' The mare then glanced over at her desk. Thoughts of how long it's been since she had a good stress relieving night rushed over her as she contemplated on unlocking the bottom drawer. "Well, I'm sure Dash won't be awake all night, and I will be in a different bed than her," she thought as she walked to her desk, unlocked the magic seal on the actual lock, and unlocked it with the key behind her alchemy set. She gazed at her favorite toy, remembering how many orgasms it brought her since she left Canterlot. For a full minute, she also had a very dirty fantasy about her and Rainbow. Rainbow thought to herself as she directed Twilight over to the entertainment room. "I already set up games and snacks for us! I also was going to ask you what you would like to have for dinner tonight." Rainbow asked her beautiful mare friend. "Wow Rainbow Dash! This all looks amazing! I'm not sure what I would like, maybe later I can think of something." Twilight complimented and assured her friend.
It was close to 7 o'clock. Twilight and Rainbow were playing a game on the E-Sphere. After Dash had beaten Twilight a number of times, she asked, "Hey Twi, want to watch a movie or something? "Sure! Sounds great!" she replied. Rainbow suggested a few good action movies. After a bit of deciding, Dash thought to herself, "What if I brought up a romantic movie? Would she be ok with it?" Rainbow turned to her small movie shelf. She took down the romantic movie and put it in front of Twilight. "What if we watch this one? It's good!" Rainbow said, trying not to sound pushy. "Sure." Twilight said with an almost questionable voice. They began to watch the movie together. They commented on sad parts, on good parts, and laughed on other parts. Rainbow leaned against Twilight a bit, feeling it was her time to get closer to her friend. "What is she doing? is she getting tired or something?" Twilight thought, but allowed Dash to continue.
Towards the end of the movie, Twilight somehow felt unsure about her friend. Rainbow acted slightly sexual towards Twilight when a steamy part of the movie arose, and Twilight began to question her own feelings toward the mare. She decided it was time to go to sleep. She asked where she would be sleeping, to which Dash replied, "Well, if your not too opposed to it... You can take my bed." Twilight was sure this was a different side of Rainbow Dash. She thanked her friend, and off to bed she went. Her saddlebag on her back. She got into Rainbow's more than comfortable bed and magically shut the door to make sure Rainbow Dash couldn't peep on her.
