In Love an Pain

As the magic swirled like a snake to the tip of our hero's horn, a small heart shape formed.The taxing effect was evident to everypony in the room. The facial contortions making him completely unrecognizable.The magenta magic sending pulses of soft light in a several meter radius. Through gritted teeth he was able to mumble
"Twilight....huh...huh..are you ready...uhhh.."
"Yes, I am"
"Okay.."

As their horns touched the magic flowed. Our hero's eyes turned a mystic white as his psyche was channeled into Twilight.
The mare's eyes started to roll back as a deep crimson hued blush formed on her face. Her front knees buckled, dropping to the floor as an audible moaning escaped from her layered with magical echo as the memories coursed into her. But the melancholy images were to much and overcame the pleasure and tears welled up from her soul. The unadulterated past of our brave hero, scene by scene, along with the knowledge he acquired over his meager time in this world was suddenly Twilight's. But before the spell could complete, our hero was tackled by the noble intentions of Spike the baby dragon
"Leave her alone" he yelled as he shook our hero who he did not know was unconscious

Twilight was quick to recover and rushed over to Fluttershy and Rarity who were already in the commotion
"Move, give him some air" she shouted in a panic" Spike, what on earth did you think you were doing"
"I thought he was hurting you"
"With Fluttershy and Rarity just feet away"
"Oh, well... I"
"Oh no he's out-cold, Spike get off him"
"What..Ahhh...." he jumped
"Lovey, wake up, come on wake up"

He slow blinks turned rapid as he came to
"Twilight, are youcough...cough.... alright"
"Yes Lovey"
"Please don't call me that, it's so embarrassing"
"Okay, okay, can you stand"
"Yeah....cough...cough...COUGH..I'm fine..."

The fit subsided and his hooves rested. As he looked up he was confronted by the slack-jawed faces of his new friends
"What's everypony staring at, what's wrong" then looking down "Oh dear god no"

The blood stained carpet looking back at him filled him with a dread so dear it made him sob
"Oh please don't hate me...sniff...I swear I'll work to get it replaced, I'll do anything, I'm so so sorry I.." that's all he could manage through the tears
"Are you INSANE, a spell ,makes you cough up close to a litter of blood and your worried about the carpet, What on earth is wrong with you,"
"I'm sorry" her tone unsettling him even more" "I'm sorry"
"Your sorry, what on earth could you have done, it couldn't have been helped
"sniff... But"

Fluttershy put her hoof on Twilight's shoulder, realizing she wasn't helping let her take over
"Now now. it's okay no one is mad at you" in her most soothing voice' We were just worried that's all"
"Really...sniff...You mean it"
"Of course, a rug can be replaced but you can't"

And with that he jumped up to embrace Fluttershy as tightly as he could
"I'm glad you're okay hmm hmm Lovey Dovey...hmm hmm"
"Twilight you promised you wouldn't say any thing"
"Come on, it's just your name"
"But, it's embarrassing, that's no name for a stallion"
"Well it couldn't be helped, pony's tend to yell things when they're scared"
"Alright, well, could you at least make up a nickname"
"Nonsense darling, I think it's fabulous"
"Me to, it really suits you"
"Do you mean it?"
"Of course dear, I simply love it" she said with a giggle
"Well, could you at least leave out the Dovey?"
