Teleportation and Tiaras
Teleportation and Tiaras
Load Full StoryNext ChapterPrincess Celestia was alone in her room. A good thing for her, considering what she was about to do. Despite that her chambers were soundproof, the royal personification of the sun had gone so far as to order the guards that usually stood watch outside the doors to another part of the castle. “After all,” she thought “It would be... Odd,” (read painfully embarrassing) “If they, or, Epona forbid my sister walked in on my... Indulgence... Yes, that is a good word for it.”
Celesita went just a bit further than that: she locked the door, shut the curtains, put a spell on the door so that it couldn't be unlocked until she broke the spell herself, and just for good measure, she enchanted her door so that nopony could teleport in. Her precautions finished, Celestia turned to bed, which called out to her longingly. She was just pulling the covers back to get in, when she looked at her door. She could feel the magical aura that surrounded it. The princess shook her head.
'For goodness sake Tia,' she thought to herself. 'precaution is one thing, but paranoia is another; If somepony wants to talk with me and they see that my door is locked, they will respect my privacy and walk away. Besides, the only one who can teleport who is in Canterlot right now is Luna, and she's sleeping now.' Indeed, Celestia had lowered the sun about half an hour ago, Luna raised the moon only a few minuets afterwards, and both princesses went to bed shortly after that. True, Luna got up much earlier to lower the moon, but that was at least 9 hours from now. This would only take about 5 minuets at the most. Celestia's horn glowed a bright golden color and in a few short seconds, the spell dissipated.
“Now where was I?” she mused. Then her face lit up, her worries seemingly forgotten, and a mischievous, almost lecherous grin spread across her muzzle. “Ah, yes, I remember now...”
“Princess Luna, you called for...By the Gods!”
The royal personification of the moon looked up at her guard, her face wrought with worry. If Luna had said that she had quit sleeping for some time now, nopony would have asked questions. Not to mention that her room looked as if some vandal had broken in, and not found what they wanted. Bookshelves were on the floor, her mattress was over turned, gowns and dresses that she wore for the most important of occasions were strewn haphazardly across the entire room, and all in all, the room was a disaster zone.
“M-m-my dear princes, you've been robbed! Don't worry I'll rally the other guards and-” he began.
But Luna waved a hoof, signaling him to stop. “I have not been robbed, Shadow Sneak.” Luna sighed. “At least, I pray that I have not.”
“But the room is... Wait. Did you lose something, your majesty?”
Luna stared. “You see my bare head, and yet you ask? Oh, Shadow Sneak, my most trusted guard, I cannot find my tiara!” she wailed.
Shadow Sneak stared back. “That's it?” he deadpanned. It was not the correct thing to say, but dark blue unicorn guard had expected either a robber, an assassin, or something even worse judging by the state of Luna's chambers. If Luna had been angered by Shadow Sneak's dismissive attitude, she did a very good job of not letting it show.
“You do not understand!” she said explained. “My tiara is a symbol of my authority, my rank, and my power...” Then, Luna leaned in to whisper her next words. “And... between you and me... I feel quite insecure if I'm not wearing it.”
Shadow Sneak's eyes widened. “Truly?” he asked. “You, insecure???”
Luna nodded. “I know that it's ridiculous, but when I wear it I feel like I really am the Princess of the Night, and not just some imposter. I can't even go to bed without nestled under my horn.”
“...”
“Are you even listening to me?!” she ordered sternly, on just the brink of the royal Canterlot voice.
Shadow Sneak flinched, and snapped to attention. “I-I'm sorry my princess, but you lost me at 'not just some imposter.' You are the Princess of the Night.”
“Maybe so,” she sighed. “but I'd still feel much better with it in my possession.”
Shadow Sneak nodded. “Perhaps it is in your sister's room?”
“I do not think so. But it is worth a try.”
Shadow Sneak promised to clean Luna's room so she could consult her sister immediately. Luna trotted up to Celestia's room taking note of the two missing guards. She would have a talk with them about the consequences of abandoning their post later. Right now, she needed her tiara, which could be in her sisters bedroom. If not, then surely Celestia would help her look for it.
Luna knocked on the door. “Sister, may I enter?” No response. Luna knocked again, harder this time. “Sister?” Again, no response. Luna mentally face-hoofed. “Right, her chambers are soundproof.” Luna tried to open the door only to find it locked. She tried unlocking it, to no avail. The only thing Luna could do now was to teleport in. “She hates it when I do that though.” said Luna out loud. “But I cannot wait. Besides, it is not like my sister is doing anything she would keep from even me.” Satisfied with that explanation, (though it was more of an excuse than anything) Luna's horn flashed and in an instant, she was in Celestia's room right next to her bed.
Luna was not expecting what she saw, in any way, shape, or form.
“Oh, yes!” cried Celestia in ecstasy. Her forelegs were hidden underneath her blanket. A piece of paper was floating in front of her. “Yes, yes, yes!” she cried again, arching her back. “Ooooooh, yeaaaaah! Mooooore~!”
“Um, Tia?”
The very next sound that came out of Celestia was a very uncivilized, unladylike yelp. The paper that she levitated disappeared under the covers. She turned to face Luna, with a forced smile. “Luna... I know you were away for 1000 years, but knocking before entering ones quarters is still considered common courtesy.”
“I know,” said Luna “but you room is soundproof and the door was locked, so I decided to teleport in.”
Celestia sighed. “Of course...” she muttered “I knew I'd want it if I hadn't got it...”
“So...” continued Luna. She was going to ask if she had seen her tiara, but curiosity overcame her. “What... What were you doing?”
Celestia cringed; she was so hoping her sister would not ask. “N-nothing.” she lied.
“It did not seem like you...”
“IT WAS NOTHING!”
Luna backed away slowly. It was all Celestia could do to keep herself from slapping herself in the face for her sudden outburst. “I-I am sorry Luna. I did not mean to shout. It's just... What I was doing was... well, it was very shameful, that's what is was.”
“Celestia,” said Luna “know that you are my sister, and though you might do things that I would not approve of, I will never think any less of you.”
Celestia smiled. “Thank you Luna, that means so very much to me. Now then,” she paused for a moment to recompose herself “as for what I was doing... As you know, Twilight Sparkle is my personal student...”
“Yes.”
“And I have known her for quite some time...”
“I know.”
“And in that time, at least in my mind, our relationship has grown past teacher and student...”
Luna blinked twice. “Do you mean like mother and daughter?”
“Think less personal.”
“Close friends?”
“...”
“...”
“...”
“...Tia?”
Celestia sighed. The only thing to do was to come out and say it. “Luna, I have fallen in love with Twilight Sparkle. However, I have not told her, to avoid any scandalous rumors. And so, to cope with the urges...” Celestia brought out the pice of paper she hid not too long ago, and handed it to Luna. Luna looked at the paper, her eyes widening to the size of basketballs.
On the piece of paper was a picture of Twilight that had been enchanted to move, as if it were a video. Twilight had her back to the watcher, her purple eyes filled with lust. The picture of Twilight did only one thing: Shake her soft lavender rump, teasingly at whoever was watching. Luna was in awe.
“Oh... That's... Wow...” she said, placing the picture on the nearby table. “From just looking at this?”
“Celestia's eyes shifted back and forth. “Um... N-no. Just um... Just looking isn't... exactly enough...”
“Oh... OH MY!” It should have been impossible for Luna's eyes to grow any wider, but somehow, they did in fact, increase in size. “I-I-I-I-I'm-I'm s-so s-s-sory,” she stammered, painfully embarrassed at the realization that her sister cloped to Twilight Sparkle. “I-I-I shouldn’t have c-c-c-come in! I'll just b-be going now.”
“Wait, didn't you come in here for something?”
Luna gulped, unsure if she wanted to stay anymore. But she really, really, really, wanted her tiara. “I um... lost my tiara and I was wondering...” she began.
“Oh, I was wondering what this was doing here.” Celestia levitated Luna's tiara over to her. “You must have left it in here when you lowered the moon.”
“Thank you sister.” said Luna. She placed the tiara on her head and started for the door.
“Luna?”
Luna turned around to face her sister, who was looking very serious. “Don't tell anypony what you just witnessed.”
“I was not here, I saw nothing, I could not have stopped you.” Luna teleported out of Celestia's room and did not appear again that night.
