(Second story in my Pinkamena Diane Pie series.)

The darkness of an abandoned building as the night claims any signs of light under the creaky roof. The cold of the night air penetrates the warmth and sucks it out, leaving a cold black void. The creak of the floorboards echoing around the empty space, every step could lead you to death. The dancing shadows as they take the forms of nightmares and the stillness of the air, the breathing down your neck and the steps you hear when all is supposed to be quiet. The smell of death and the images of bones in your mind's eye, the brush against your leg and the heavy breathing in the corner.

It's been three weeks since the murders of Twilight Sparkle, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Applejack, Fluttershy and Spike. Pinkie Pie has gone missing and hasn't been seen since that day and has been declared dead. The library is closed down and in a few days it will be torn down so that the town won't have to face the darkness that lies within.

Gilda decides to pay a visit to the library, just to see what it's like now, but something is hiding in the darkness...
