A Club Night Gone Wrong

Vinyl Scratch works well at clubbing, working with her record equipment, and having a great time. But, one day, she lets some other ponies set up her equipment because she was in too much of a hurry to get ready for the night. The equipment was not set up correctly, and something horrible happened to Vinyl. That night, Octavia went to the club to see Vinyl perform. At that moment with the equipment gone wrong, Octavia saw the horror on Vinyl's face. Octavia decided that she would not rest until she knew Vinyl was going to be alright. Now it's up to Octavia to figure out how to help Vinyl before something major happens. Can she figure it out in time?….

The Start

Vinyl was in too much of a rush to get ready for the show that night, she had no time to set her equipment up. She had hired a couple of other ponies to do it for her. These ponies were good with engineering and computers, but they had never seen equipment like this before. It was top-of-the-notch dubstep max equipment. As those ponies set it up, they placed a few of the parts in the wrong places. Vinyl had begged Octavia to come that night to see Vinyl's first performance in Cantrelot. Octavia agreed, considering Vinyl had come to watch many of Octavia's performances. Vinyl was so excited her best friend was coming to watch her perform at the Cantrelot club for the first time. "Oh, thank you! Thank you so much, Tavi! You have no idea how much this means to me!" Vinyl said with enthusiasm. "I want you to see my best work! You are going to love it! I'll even play a.... Classical... song just for you!" Vinyl hugged Octavia before she left to get ready.

Vinyl made sure everything was perfect and in order. She checked all of her records to make sure they were all there. She had found a classical record at a thrift store in Ponyville. But, Vinyl was too excited to check her equipment to make sure it was all set up properly. That was the mistake she made that would change her life forever.
