Twilight Sparkle hummed to herself as she balanced a small stack of books on her back, Spike the dragon tailing close behind with a cart stacked high with assorted papers, each with important research information regarding the Pegasus and Gryphon relations. It had started out a normal day, Twilight woe up, met Pinkie Pie for some muffins at Sugarcube Corner, and the helped Rarity with some of her deliveries to clients heading to the Gala. "Spike, are you sure you checked off the list?" Twilight asked, always one to obey lists and orders. Spike rolled his emerald green eyes and sighed, pulling out a long scroll from the cart and unfurling it gently. "Ate Muffins with Pinkie? Check. Delivered thirteen dresses to clients around Ponyville with Rarity? Check. Purchased all scrolls and book related to gryphons, Pegasus, and Alicorns? Check, that's about all that was on today's agenda Twilight." he stated while casting the unfurled scroll on top of the pile. Spike was never one to do any form of work, much less run all day with Twilight, but he was easily swayed when she told him about helping Rarity. He about drooled onto himself at the mere mention of the white unicorn. "Well then I guess we can call it a day." Twilight replied cheerfully. she had been running all day, and her hooves were starting to get sore. "Hey Twilight, whats that over there?" Spike asked, his clawed finger pointing at a shimmering light in the distance, near the road to the Everfree forest. Twilight squinted and saw the light as well, and looked back to her assistant with a concerned glare. "I dont know spike, we should go over and see what it is." for once Spike was excited to do a little extra running, and left the cart behind to tail Twilight. As they neared the light Twilight noticed her horn beginning to glow, the closer they got the brighter it glowed. "Whoa Twilight, your horn!" "I know, it seems to be reacting to whatever this light is." she stated with a scientific point of notice as they stepped within distance of the light. The light in question, no more than a foot wide and tall, hovered a few inches off the ground, humming softly as the light from its core pulsated. Twilight circled it and got close, jumping back as a spark made contact with her horn. "Twilight! are you okay?" Spike yelled. "Yeah, it just shocked me is all. What do you suppose it is Spike?" Spike shrugged his scaly shoulders and sat perplexed at the suspended light. "It kind of looks like a star." He said while pulling a gem from behind his back, gnawing at the shimmering surface. Twilight gazed at the refracting light, watching as it played a dance of colors in front of her eyes. "If it's a star, we need to inform Princess Luna and Princess Celestia." spike stood at attention and saluted mockingly, pulling parchment and a pen from Twilight's sack. "Tell her we found some kind of light that just appeared here, tell her we're at the entrance to Everfree Forest." Spike hastily jotted the note and sent it to the princess with a puff of green flame. "Now what Twilight?" Twilight almost ignored him while studying the light. "Take the cart home and get some sleep, I'm gonna sit here and monitor this." Spike nodded his head and walked back to the cart, noting the shifting hues of the sky as nightfall began to descend on Twilight and the strange light. ~At opposite ends of the Dimensional rift~ A man stood gazing over a circle of runes and glowing glyphs, hoping that the spell would work and the saviors he was trying to bring over would arrive soon. His face was shrouded within a black cloak, which swayed with the small sudden gusts the spell was creating. A tome rested in his hand as he whispered words of ancient power, crossing the void in order to bring them to his own world. “Just a little bit longer.” He sighed, his voice young yet wise as an old sage. Chaos was coming to his world, and he knew only the elements of harmony could save it. His mother had told him when the time came, he would know when to summon them. And time was running out. ~Equestria, outside the Everfree forest~ Twilight had noted the growing size of the light, and backed away a few meters just to be safe, after Spike had left she found herself in the company of Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash, who after a day of flight training, had spotted the unicorn observing the strange light. Dash waled over and flew over the light, trying to get a better look at what it was. "I dont like it. It's totally an alien or something." Dash exclaimed, drawing a sigh from twilight as she shook her head. "No Dash, its magical in origin, or it wouldn't react to my horn." Fluttershy remained away from it, trying not to stare at it while nestling next to Twilight. "It's scaring me." she whispered, hiding behind her pink mane. "It's alright Fluttershy, I'm sure its not here to harm us." Twilight turned her head at the sound of running hooves, and saw her other friends, Rarity, Applejack, and Pinkie Pie rushing towards them. "What in the sweet name of apples is that thing?" AJ exclaimed, pointing at the light rather dramatically. "It looks like a disco ball! are we having a party?" The ever chipper Pinkie asked. "It would look great on my new dress, can you move it?" Rarity ogled and awed. "We dont know what it is, but i have a feeling the princesses would know." As if calling on Celestia's name herself, the six looked up to the sound of majestic flapping wings and spotted the royal sisters themselves descending and landing next to Twilight Sparkle. The six bowed to the royal princesses of the sun and moon, and received a slight curtsey in return. "Twilight, is this what you called us here for?" Celestia asked, her sweet voice easing the fears of all the ponies Twilight nodded and surveyed the light, noticing the pulses coming faster and brighter by the second. "We thought it might be a star, Luna, can you tell us what this is?" Luna approached and lowered her head closer to the light, drawing away as it crackled to life. "I'm afraid I would not know what this strange enigma must be." she explained, standing next to her sister and looking t her for support. Celestia looked at the light and closed her eyes, her horn glowing a golden aura as she encompassed the light in a field. when she finished the light suddenly grew brighter than it had before, engulfing the ponies and the princesses in a piercing white light. "Whats going on!" Was all Twilight could ask before they vanished into thin air. ~At the other side of the rift.~ The man called out in the ancient language, feeling the thrum of power as it resonated from the glyph. His power reached out and he felt the life forces of seven, and prayed that these souls were the elements he desperately needed. The glyph suddenly flashed a light more brilliant than any sun, and the man covered his eyes to shield himself from the brilliance. “Wha- Where are we?” He heard a distinctly female voice, educated but frightened, call from the room. He looked and paused in shock, eight women all sitting on the rune, and all looking around with disbelief. “Well I don’ like this one bit, felt like a crate o apples fell on my head.” One called from the floor, rubbing her eyes and readjusting her leather cowboy hat. She looked down at her hands and her pupils shrunk, and as if having the same thought, all of the women began to scream. One, with long curled purple hair, gazed at herself and begun to close her eyes, clutching her head and falling over. Others, like the pink haired girl, slender yet full of life, stared at her hands and smiled, moving each finger individually. The man, now as confused as they, tried to speak to calm them , but when they saw him approaching, they huddled together and screamed even louder. The apparent leader, a tall curvaceous woman with flowing neon hair, stood and looked at the screaming women, and stamped her bare foot on the ground. “My little ponies! Silence!” she yelled with a tone of superiority. All stopped as she smiled slightly and turned to the man, approaching him until she was within inches. “What is the meaning of this?” The man stood up as tall as he could and pulled back his hood, revealing a face as young as twenty, but with eyes of an ancient seer. His long brown hair fell back into a knot, and he looked from his tome back to the princess. “Princess Celestia I presume?” Celestia nodded her head and looked to the others, not showing any sign of surprise in their new forms. “I would formally welcome all of you to my world, but discord has by now sensed your entering of our world.” He stated calmly, while closing the book and placing it beneath his arm. “Discord? But we froze him in a stone prison!” Twilight, forgetting her new body, boldly explained. “His physical form yes, but he has escaped in spirit and trekked into my world, and I need you to help me stop him.” Celestia grabbed hold of her sisters arm and hoisted her up on shaky legs. “Before that I believe you owe all of us an explanation, and your name since you seem to know a lot about us.” “Fair enough, my name is Garn, and I know you two are the royal princesses of Equestria.” He paused and looked to the others lying on the floor. “And I suppose those others are the elements of harmony?” Celestia nodded and placed a hand on her hip, looking Garn over before crossing her arms. “Perhaps we can discuss more when we are moved to a more warm area?” “Well I didn’t expect you to become human during the trip.” He paused and blushed as Luna finally mastered standing and covered herself. “Or that you’d be without clothes.” Celestia looked down at herself and nodded her head. “I suppose a new attire would be suitable, do you humans wear clothes all the time?” Garn nodded. “I’ll go get you all some clothes, then we can discuss what goes on next.” Ch 2, Meeting ChaosChapter two, Meeting Chaos Garn hurried to the other room and grabbed a plastic bin of clothing, and retreated back to the living room where the elements of harmony and the princesses were huddled near a fire covered in blankets. He handed out clothing appropriately, and kindly turned around while they dressed. He had changed as well, donning a simple black button up shirt and fitted jeans. His face was one of worry as he handed each of the clothing sets out, this wasn’t what he expected at all. “I should probably start from the beginning yes?” he inquired, catching a glimpse of the princesses as they helped each other with the shirts. “Preferably so if thou wouldn’t mind?” Luna agreed. As soon as they finished he turned around and couldn’t help a smile, they had been able to dress with no mistake. “well for starters you are no longer ponies, apparently. This is due to the shift from your world of Equestria to mine, Earth.” As he said Earth Rarity shuddered and held her cup of cocoa he had given her close, looking around the house with quick darting eyes. “Earth? What a horrid name, but I cannot argue that the décor in this house is splendid.” she sighed, finally nestling close to Twilight as she looked to Garn. “A different world? Then how do you know about the princesses?” she inquired, her lavender eyes anxious for new knowledge. “That will be more difficult to explain. It all started when I was born, my mother was very sick, and barely held onto life while giving birth to me. When I was old enough to comprehend the universe, I realized I had…powers all the other children didn’t possess. When they developed my mother explained to me that I was one of a kind, and that someday I would have to use my power to vanquish a great and powerful evil. She told me about Equestria and all of it‘s splendor, and gave me this tome to study magic with. She died a couple of years ago, and I now must fulfill my duty to protect this world by asking for your help.” “Did you get a party when you found out you were different?” Pinkie asked with a small leap and flourish. “Uh… no.” “Lets have one now then!” she squealed with delight. Luckily princess Celestia looked at her with a smile and shook her head. “thanks, but now is not the time, we have two enemies that have teamed up that had influenced Equestria and now threaten my own world.” “Two enemies, who is the second besides Discord?” Fluttershy asked while cradling Garn’s sleeping cat. The old tabby looked at her and yawned, apparently happy with the attention. “One that I believe Princess Luna is all to familiar with.” He stated in a hushed whisper, drawing glances to the young, blue haired princess. “It’s back?” she asked, almost curling into herself with fear. “I’m afraid so, miasma came to my world and found a soul almost as dark as itself. It fused with an all too willing Discord and formed Chaos. He presents himself in the guise of a suave human businessman, and has taken over almost all forms of government in this world. His ability to magically change chance has benefited him greatly, in a matter of months he has amounted a vast amount of wealth, as well as a taste for a new kind of trouble.” Luna whimpered at the memories of a thousand years with no one to talk to but the dark deity. “I have to teach you all how to use your powers, which have crossed over with your new bodies.” Dash finally stood and paced across the room, pushing her finger into Garn’s chest. “You don’t teach me anything, I’m the greatest flier in all Equestria.” “Yeah so I hear, but can you fly in your new body?” Garn challenged. Dash’s face lit up with anger and she found her body rising without the aid of wings. She hovered in front of the smiling human and then noticed she was flying, upon realizing this she promptly fell to the ground with a satisfying crunch. “Now you see why I said I must teach you?” Dash messed with her rainbow short hair and stood to challenge him again. “What could you possibly no about flying?” she yelled. Garn chuckled and crossed his arms, and raised himself off the ground so his head barely touched the ceiling, which was off the ground by a good fifteen feet. “I could teach you A LOT of things about flying, as well as magic.” Dash leaped up and took flight, backing up before charging at him with a raised fist. He opened his mouth and whispered something she couldn’t hear, and she shrieked as she came to an abrupt halt and found she could not move her limbs. “What in Celestias name!?” Garn came closer and looked at her with a smug grin. “And that, my impatient Rainbow dash, is a power you will never have.” “Unfreeze me featherhead!” She cried, eyes darting around as the others giggled at her. Garn smiled and snapped his finger, letting Rainbow crash to the floor. She sighed in defeat and sat up, rubbing her head as Fluttershy came by her and checked to see if she was alright. “You clearly have a knack for magic, so why cant you defeat Chaos?” Twilight inquired. “Because I need the elements to hold him within a field while I prepare my mothers spell. This spell… It can only be used once, so I have to make sure he is held in place. Besides.” He couldn’t finish before he snapped his neck around and growled. “What is it thou are growling at?” Luna asked, only to turn ghastly pale at the sight of a shadow engulfing the hallway. “Oh.” Fluttershy screamed and grabbed hold of Rainbow, and Applejack came to Garn’s side with fists raised. “What in tarnation are those?” She asked, watching as humanoid shapes ascended from the shadows. “Shadows. The souls chaos consumes become just that. They are his servants, his assassins.” “I see I to, will have to join this battle.” Celestia declared as she took her spot next to the human mage. “How long has it been since you’ve tasted battle Celestia?” He asked with a smirk, holding his hands at his side staring down the creatures. She smiled and held a hand out, calling forth a weapon of power with her voice. A spear materialized with a golden glow in her hands, and she hefted the shaft experimentally before planting the blunt end into the floor. Her smile, caused Garn to laugh, and he looked at Applejack while she stared dumbfounded at the Princess. “you will need a weapon too Applejack.” Garn said as he conjured a steel war hammer, handing it to her as she held it with a wide eyed stare. “What in the hay do I do with this?” Celestia leapt forward and intercepted the first charging shadow, planting the spearhead into its chest. “Swing and make it count Earth pony.” Garn said with a smile, rushing past Celestia and slamming his glowing palm against the floor. A wave of blue energy erupted from the floor, knocking over the first wave of shadows. One dodged the blast and leapt over Garn, rushing Applejack and the others. Applejack screamed and raised the hammer over her head, bringing it down with a inhuman force. The shadow shrieked as the hammerhead plummeted down, smashing its head into the ground. Garn looked back with a grin and gave her a thumbs up before spinning around and sending a thin wave of energy at another oncoming shadow, splitting it in two from the torso down. A few more shadows later and the portal closed up, but something sinister yet lingered in the air. “Oh I do love a good fight! That was simply Delicious!” a snide, sing song voice called out from the nothing. Garn grimaced and looked around before clasping his hands together and closing his eyes. “And what is this! You brought me the ponies and my old vessel. Perhaps I should take her back, her body was so fun.” Luna cringed and shook violently, almost on the verge of tears. “That’s not gonna happen chaos, I’m getting rid of you once and for all.” Garn hissed, his eyes still closed. “We are going to stop you.” Twilight agreed, standing with Celestia defending the group. “I yearn to see you try little not-ponies.” “Enough of this.” Garn whispered, his eyes opening displaying a blue-white glow. “Frek Vudahn!” he yelled. The sound caused all of the women to cover their ears, including Celestia and Luna. The room glowed brightly for a split second before returning to normal, the sneer laugh of chaos dwindling to a whisper. The others uncovered their ears, and looked back to Garn with silent, analytical expressions. “What sort of magic was that?” Twilight asked, her hands running across her ears. “An ancient kind, one I have not witnessed in a few thousand years.” Celestia explained, standing next to Garn with an expression of wonder. “The Alicorns once possessed such power, it was called the Ancient Language, words of true power that symbolize everything from the sky, to the stone in the ground. To know the words was to know true power. After the war, the Alicorns lost the ability to call upon the words, we instead acquired the magic of our horns. To hear the words again, is to hear ancient history remade.” Celestia stated, her eyes analyzing the human with a combination of jealousy and respect. “Then how can this…human know such language?” Luna asked, feeling a bit safer knowing chaos was gone temporarily. “Because I touched the very thing Alicorns used the words to banish. And the same source that corrupted you.” Garn said while looking at Luna. “You too, can use the words, and that’s why I must teach you the way. If you all wish to help me, I must teach all of you how to fight, even the princesses.” The others looked at Garn and then to each other, all wondering how they could fight. Luna stood and walked up to Garn, her eyes cold yet full of fire. “I want Miasma gone, I will fight.” she said, extending her hand palm down. “I will fight for Equestria.” Celestia added, placing her hand on top of her sisters. Twilight cautiously stepped forward and placed her hand on the princesses. “I will fulfill my duty and serve the royal sisters.” she agreed, looking from Celetsia with a smile back to the group. Dash shrugged and placed her hands behind her head, messing with her hair before sighing. “Fine, I was getting bored anyway.” she sighed, taking her place by Twilight. “Well I am getting mighty fond of this… what’s it called?” she asked motioning at the hammer still clutched in her hands. “War hammer.” Garn said with a smile. “Yeah! It’s awful great for smashing things.” she stood next to Rainbow and placed a hand in the circle. They all seemed to look at Rarity, who pouted and turned her head. “All this ‘fighting’ sounds like dirty work, what if I tear a dress or get dirt on my mane?” Applejack sighed and grabbed her, dragging her to the circle. “Don’t be a scaredy-filly, I bet you wont have to do anything anyway with your magic and all.” Rarity sighed and placed her hand on the pile, shaking her head like it was all a bad idea. Pinkie grabbed Fluttershy’s arm and drug her to the group, slapping a happy hand on top. Fluttershy bowed her head and whimpered, but raised her eyes to look at garn as he placed a hand on her shoulder. “Fluttershy, you wont be fighting at all, but what you will be doing is extremely important, will you help.” Fluttershy blushed and slowly placed her hand with the rest, and Garn smiled as he too placed his hand on top. “Then let’s get started.” he said with a smile. “For Equestria!” Celestia proclaimed. “For our friends!” Chimed Twilight. “For cupcakes!” Everyone stared at Pinkie and Garn broke out laughing. “Yes Pinkie, for cupcakes.” End part 2 CH 3, Training the HornCh 3, Training the Horn Shortly after the battle, the elements and the princesses found themselves exhausted from the sudden shift and the days events, as per request of Garn, the princesses got his bedroom, Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash shared the guest bedroom, Rarity got the smaller bedroom downstairs, and Twilight sparkle slept in the study. Applejack explained that she was more comfortable outdoors or on a stack of hay, so Garn let her bring some in from outside and make a bed in the living room. Pinkie Pie slept soundly on the couch, her arms and legs flailing as she giggled softly in her sleep. He let the elements of harmony sleep, it had been a long day for al of them. He felt the familiar pull of the night, and quietly opened the sliding door in the living room leading outside. He stood solitary on the balcony, leaning against the railing and staring at the moon, his mind deep in thought. When he and his mother had moved to the house, she would bring him out every night and tell him the story of the goddess that controlled the moon and stars. He chuckled and wiped his eyes, he missed his mother, and he would make her proud by expelling this evil. “Can thou not sleepeth this night?” Rang an innocent voice behind him. He turned around and saw Luna, wearing a bathrobe that belonged to him, rubbing her eyes as she watched the moon. “I always come out here, it’s a ritual before I go to sleep.” Luna stood next to him and watched the moon with wide eyes. “Your moon is so much bigger than the one I lived on.” she sighed, watching the stars as they shone across the forested area. The house rested within the mountains, overlooking vast plains of forest and a shimmering area in the distance. Garn saw that Luna was looking at the light and he raised a hand to point at it. “That’s the city of Rune, it was erected before I was born, a small town that mined copper and silver. My mother told me that it was fast becoming a city, and now it’s bigger than Las Vegas.” Luna looked to him and then back at the moon. “The other ponies don’t know if they can trust you, but I hath seen into your heart and I see goodness.” Garn chuckled and looked back at her. “Yeah, and I see your getting better with the current language, it sounds fitting for you.” Luna blushed and looked away, she had no idea why his statement made her feel so… good. “Is your name truly Garn? It is an odd name for a colt. I mean man.” Garn lowered his head and chuckled. “You caught me Luna, my full name is Garnet. My mother named me after a gem she found while she was pregnant with me. I called myself Garn when I was still a small boy, it seemed to fit me better.” Luna stopped and pondered on what he said, smiling at the irony of giving him a girls name. “What brings you out here princess?” Garn finally asked, his curiosity getting the better of him. “I am goddess of the night in Equestria, I came out here to see if the night was brought in by itself or by a goddess of your own.” “No, the stars and moon move on their own, the Earth rotates, which makes the sky move like it does.” “That’s fascinating, what else does your world offer that ours does not?” Garn looked away and scoffed, the world he lived in had not nearly as much happiness than did Equestria. “Our world is one of sorrow, of pain, greed, lust, hatred, and war.” Luna looked sorrowfully at him and inched closer. “What about the silver side of those things? Friendship, compassion, generosity, love.?” She almost whispered the last part. He looked back at her with a blank expression, and then nodded his head solemnly. “We have that too, for every good here, there is an evil to match.” He stood and walked back inside, watching as the princess’ long blue hair swayed in the midnight breeze. He found he grew respectful of the woman, she was wise as she was kind, but inside he knew that she suffered the darkness just as he had. “Garn?” she asked, turning around to see him. He paused and looked over his shoulder, unspoken approval of her question. “You didn’t say much of your mother. Who was she? How does she know of Equestria?” Garn looked back inside the house and shook his head slowly. “Good night Luna.” As he walked away the princess sighed, she knew he would tell them when the time was right. “Good night Garnet.” ~Early morning~ Twilight awoke to the sound of the study door opening, and she peered out of her hair to see Garn leaning against the door wearing sweats and no shirt. The sight, once horrifying, raised a strange new feeling in the pit of the girls stomach. His smooth chest and sculpted figure entranced her, and she saw immediately that he had noticed her staring. “Getting some visionary research done are we?” He asked, wrapping tape across his knuckles. She bolted up with a face crimson red and stuttered. “No! I was just…surprised you were up this early.” “You will be too, just like Rarity, we don’t have much time to train and I need you, especially you, to be ready for Chaos.” She looked at him with a deepening blush at the way he said “especially you.” “Twilight? Are you ok?” She nodded her head and watched him walk away, and slapped herself in the head. “What the hell is wrong with me? He’s just like Big Macintosh.” she whispered, sighing as she found the clothes he set out for her. She pulled on the black sweat pants and donned the purple tank top, and began to realize how comfortable clothes were. “Twilight!” Rarity squealed as she burst into the room. Twilight looked at her and immediately saw the problem, The pants he had given rarity were a bit too long, and the tank top was a…bit too tight. “Rarity, what’s wrong?” “He said we have to work! I don’t want to work I’ll sweat and smell bad and I miss my bath.” She continued to whine. “Rarity?” Twilight asked sheepishly. Rarity stopped her rant and looked at Twilight, and sat on a desk, patting the edge so Twilight sat next to her. “Did you…feel different when you saw Garn?” Twilight asked with a mutter at the end. Rarity looked at her and then blankly at the wall before shaking her head. “Well if different you mean staring at him for five minutes and being struck mute, then I suppose the answer would be yes.” Twilight looked at her and giggled softly. “I guess Big Mac isn’t the only one now is he?” Rarity laughed and patted her hair before standing with a yawn and a stretch. “We better not keep him waiting, he might do that trick he did to Dash last night.” They walked past the living room down a small staircase where Garn was waiting by the front door, two large tomes in his hands. He acknowledged both of the women before opening the door, laying out some sandals for the girls to wear. “You don’t have hooves anymore, walking can be a bit of a pain.” Twilight blushed again at the unexpected kindness of the mage that had summoned them, and slipped on the sandal before following him out the door and down a winding path into the forest. “This place is so…calming, it’s quite lovely.” Rarity remarked, careful to stay a step behind Twilight. “My mother thought so too. We’re almost there, just a little farther.” He reassured, noting that both were clearly not used to their feet yet. Twilight heard the sound of a river, and saw in the clearing just that. The shimmering waters cast small fractured beams of light off the surface, creating the illusion that the water was liquid crystal. “Your first lesson is to use the things around you as a weapon, and the first spell I am going to teach you is a basic levitation spell.” With that he raised his hands and sent the books to the young women, watching with a sense of sick satisfaction as he let go and they almost fell over with the weight of the books. “What are these books made of? Solid rock?” Rarity whined, laying the book down on the ground and sitting in front of it. Twilight soon followed suit, sitting in front of the book and pouring over the first few pages. “I don’t understand Garn, these only depict runes and strange glyphs, no mental technique or words?” Twilight stated after reading a good thirty pages in. “Those are the spells. You have to envision the glyph in your mind, and then project the necessary energy through motion of the body. That first page is a telekinesis spell, I have laid out a small pile of rocks next to you, and I want you to throw them at me as fast as you can.” he stated, standing with his legs shoulder length apart and crossing his arms. “I couldn’t possibly, why would I throw a rock at you?” Rarity asked. “Because your dresses are tacky and you’re a terrible designer of fashion.” He said with a grin, knowing he would get a rise from her. “Why you little!” She yelled, and three rocks shot into the air next to her and hovered in her open palm. “Try it, you sorry excuse for a clothing designer.” She flung her arm forward and cast the stones at high speed. Garn smiled and whipped his arms around in a semicircle motion, and the rocks flew up and away from him. “Good, again.” Twilight had joined in, and after half an hour of Garn deflecting rocks, both the elements collapsed on their knees, drenched in sweat. “Do you know why I can deflect these rocks so easily?” Garn asked, willing the scattered stones to replace themselves at the girls sides. Rarity glared at him with her cold blue eyes and snorted. “No, for the last time we have no idea!” Twilight suddenly looked up and then back to the book, a sudden realization hitting her like a hammer. “Twilight? Ready for another go?” She stood and watched a rock float into her hand, her familiar purple aura holding it steady. She smiled and closed her eyes, envisioning the glyph as well as the rune circle, and began to spin the image around. As she did the stone began to turn as well, and Rarity looked at her with a gasp. “Twilight? What on earth are you doing?” Twilight opened her eyes and stretched her arm back, and with a pitching motion she cast the rock at Garn. He smiled and raised his arm to deflect it, but watched helplessly as the spinning rock hit him square in the wrist. He cried out in pain as a resounding crack filled the forest, and Twilight leaped in joy. “He couldn’t deflect it!” She screamed, and then looked horrified at the outcome. “He couldn’t deflect it… Garn!” She ran up to him, taking his arm in her hand, sure enough a large black bruise had begun to appear on his wrist, and he winced through a smile as he met her eyes with his. “Very good Twilight, that was an excellent shot, and now you know a rotating moving object is harder to deflect than a moving object with no rotation.” He praised, patting her on her shoulder with his good hand. “I think we’re good for today, lets head back and get some lunch.” He said, stretching his arm while wrapping the bruise with gauze. “Did I hurt you Garn?” Twilight whispered, ashamed that she took pleasure in breaking his defense. “I had hoped you would do just that, although I wasn’t expecting such quick results. I’m proud of you.” He added, looking to see her beaming face. Rarity met him on his other side and smiled at Twilight. “My dear, Twilight is the most powerful mage in Equestria, there is nothing she cant learn.” Garn laughed and then looked back, looking at the books he left behind. “Damn, I left the tomes behind.” “No problem!” both the girls exclaimed, and they each extended a hand and watched with wide smiles when the tomes flew to their waiting hands. “Good job girls, that is excellent progress.” They walked back in the house and Garn smiled to see Applejack smashing logs with her hammer, Pinkie cheering her on like a cheerleader. She looked to see them approaching and leaned on the hammer, her sweaty body glistening in the sun. Garn noted she had grabbed one of his old flannel shirts and tied it in, he laughed because she had a sudden striking resemblance to Daisy Duke. “Having fun applejack?” Twilight yelled, running up to hug her friend. “I sure am, this thing aint as heavy as it looks.” she said, moving an arm as an invitation for Twilight to have a go. Twilight eagerly grabbed the leather handle and grunted as he tried to lift it, not moving the steel hammer a budge. “I told you that you’d keep your power when you transferred Applejack.” Garn stated as he grabbed the hammer and handed it back to her. “Earth ponies are known to be incredibly strong right?” He asked, getting a slight blush from the ranch hand. “Well I don’t know about incredibly.” she giggled. “Can we eat now? Celestia said I had to wait for you to ask permission.” Pinkie said while jumping around Garn. “Yes Pinkie, now we can eat, would you mind whipping us up something?” Pinkies eyes widened and she grinned even wider. “Really? I’ve never cooked human food before? What should I make?” Garn shook his head and laughed. “Whatever I have you can make it if you have the ingredients.” Pinkie yelled with happiness and rushed into the house, and seconds later the sounds of cooking wear and pans moving could be heard even outside the house. “Might I inquire about a bath?” Rarity asked while nudging Garn. “Basement, I have a hot tub and a shower in the room next to it, it aint much but your more than welcome to it.” Rarity hugged him tightly and ran inside, along with Twilight leaving him alone with his thoughts. “Do you believe they will be ready?” He heard a voice from above him. He looked up and immediately looked away with a red face as he gazed upon Celestia sunbathing on his roof, her eyes closed as she laid in the sunlight. “Could you please put on some clothes?” He asked, half ashamed he saw her like that. She laughed and wrapped the towel beneath her around her, and glided gently to the ground. “I sometimes forget how you younger men feel when in the presence of a woman nude, I find your embarrassment comedic, perhaps I shall do it again in the future.” she joked with a wink. “Yeah, just…give me a heads up next time.” She laughed and entered the house, and he suddenly knew why his mother had called her Trollestia. The day was spent, and he was hungry as a…well a horse. He walked inside and closed the door, the next day he had to train someone he knew would be more than a challenge. Tomorrow he trained the earth ponies. Ch 4, Training the HoofCh 4, Training of the Hoof. Garn couldn’t help but shake his head as he looked with a mixture of amazement and anger at the kitchen, now covered in flour and other assorted ingredients. She darted her head around excitedly as she turned the oven off, pulling out a golden cake while sliding it onto the counter for all the others to admire. “This is so much fun!” she cheered, twirling around as she grabbed a stack of plates and spread them at the breakfast bar. Garn was surprised that the breakfast bar sat everybody down with room, but quickly felt his stomach turn at their meals. Amongst the stack of brightly colored cupcakes and cakes were salads, and other vegetarian style dishes. He sighed and went to the fridge grabbing a container of ham and throwing some between some rye bread, sitting next to Luna and Celestia as they excitedly talked about the wonders they had discovered in the new world. “This world is so much more colorful than Equestria, I found at least thirteen different kinds of butterflies around here.” Fluttershy whispered excitedly, her hand balancing a robin as it sang joyously. “Garn taught us new magic, when we get home I’ll have to add it to my collection and see if it can be made useful in our world.” Garn looked over and saw Rainbow Dash picking at her salad and fuming. He leaned against the counter while chewing on his sandwich and blinked. “Something wrong Dash?” He asked with genuine concern. Everyone looked at the young flyer and she slammed her hand on the plate, standing in challenge while glaring at Garn. “Why are we just sitting around eating when we should be out fighting Chaos?” she yelled, slamming her fist on the table again. “And how do you propose to defeat him, by throwing rocks and hoping a swing of the hammer will crush his skull?” At that remark Twilight and Rarity lowered their heads, and Applejack scratched at the back of her head with a free hand. “Do you propose to fly at him and then be struck dead with a whisper from his mouth? Face it Rainbow, you are just not ready. He’s biding his time, waiting for a challenge. And while he waits I’m going to push you all to expose your true power.” He finished and sat back down, getting glances from all the women. “I…Flutter brain!” she screamed, and sped down to her room, slamming the door as loud as she could. Garn sighed and placed his head in his hands. He hadn’t meant to be so forward with the truth, but everyone knew he was right. Luna placed her hand on his shoulder reassuringly. “You told her the truth, and that can be the hardest thing to do sometimes.” Garn sighed and stood, walking to the balcony and sliding the glass door shut behind him. Fluttershy had been watching Rainbow and stood, walking to their room as Celestia comforted her sister. “He knows what he did was right little sister, but he still feels the stress of destiny. Without us, all of us together, we cannot hope to defeat Chaos.” Luna nodded her head and hugged Celestia tightly, and all of them knew that even though the princesses were thousands of years old, they were as scared as the rest of them. Applejack looked at Rarity and nodded her head, and the two left, followed by Pinkie. “Luna, what is it you aren’t telling me?” Celestia whispered, still holding her little sister tightly. Luna separated and looked at Celestia with eyes glistening with tears. She wiped her eyes and glanced back at Garn as he stood on the balcony. “He knows the power of Miasma as much as I do, I saw it in his eyes. He’s the one that knows that darkness, and he is scared of it. He’s scared of all that power, how it can corrupt a person to their core.” Celestia nodded her head thoughtfully. She had noticed a strange connection between Luna and him, but ignored it for the sake of Luna. She stood up and hugged Luna again before making her way to the balcony. “Go take a bath little sister, I need to have a word with Garn.” Luna meekly nodded and retreated down the stares, a silent prayer that Celestia would not hurt him. Celestia opened the door and stood next to Garn, watching as his hair swayed in the mountain breeze. “would you like to speak somewhere more quiet?” She inquired, nodding her head to a higher gathering of trees a ways from the house. “I don’t need to talk, I need to vent.” “I think even in this new form I will be more than a challenge for you.” she insisted, rising off the balcony and hovering in the air with her hand hanging from her sides. Garn sighed and took flight, following the princess of the sun to the top of the mountain, where they landed in a clearing. Celestia walked to the opposite end and raised her hands calling forth her weapon of choice, the spear. Garn merely nodded and held his hands to his side, taking a stance of a runner. “Let’s see what you got.” He muttered. He dashed forward with his hands glowing the bright blue as they had during the first battle Celestia witnessed. She parried the punch with the shaft of her spear, leaping over him and thrusting with the blade, aiming at his chest. He dodged by rolling, missing the blade by mere inches. Dust flew up in a cloud from where he landed, and he raised his arms in defense as Celestia aimed the spear at him, holding it in place behind her back. “What is it your hiding Garn?” she yelled, charging the blade of her spear with a golden light. A streak of golden lightning erupted from the tip, and shot high into the air as Garn deflected it with a whisper. He didn’t speak, only deflected each of the magically charged blasts the princess fired at him, slowly being pushed back towards the trees. The more she fired, the more fatigued he felt, and he began to wonder how she could persist with her attacks. “How can you continue to attack?” He asked, deflecting another blast. She stopped and planted her spear in the ground, pushing her hair out of her face. “you deflect attack as well as you deflect my questions.” She paused and smiled, walking forward and stopping short of him. He stopped and breathed heavily, he was wondering what she planned to do next. Instead of a frown he found her smiling and she leaned forward, hugging him tightly. “Your just like your mother, I almost forgot what she looked like.” She closed her eyes and let the tears fall. “You have her eyes. I forgot how lovely they were.” Garn froze and stiffly hugged her back, feeling tears he forgot he had surface to his eyes. “How long did you know?” He asked, choking on his feelings. “When you summoned us here, I knew only your mothers power could separate the barrier between Earth and Equestria. And besides.” she stated, separating and brushing his face. “How could I not tell you were the last male Alicorn?” He looked down and shook his head. “I was born a human, my mother gave up that duty years ago. She gave up immortality to bring me into this world. I am no Alicorn.” Celestia nodded her head and looked him over, a mere child compared to her and Luna, but his eyes betrayed someone wise, one who had seen the toils of years of war. “What were Nethers’ last moments like?” He took a deep breath and smiled. “She died dreaming of Equestria. She regretted leaving her best friend, you, behind.” “A brave sacrifice, one that was not sung of.” Garn nodded his head, he knew no records of his mother existed any longer, and the only one to remember her was Celestia. “It’s a shame Luna never met your mother, she would have loved her comedic personality.” Celestia complimented, hovering off the ground. ‘Princess? About Luna.” Celestia place a finger to his lips and smiled. “I am not the one you should be telling.” He smiled and nodded, following her back to the house where the group gathered and the balcony and waved them down. As they landed Garn was overrun with questions and concerns. He comforted them all that everything was fine, and almost fell off the banister when applejack planted a finger in his chest accusingly. “What in the good Apple name were you two doing up there, looked like a thunderstorms angry mother up there.” Celestia giggled and looked at the smirking Garn. “Training, we were training.” he stated. “Well you promised you would train me an Pinkie today! Or did you forget?” “No! We can start right now, we can use the cement pad down below, so the others can watch.” “Like a party!” Pinkie yelled. Garn groaned and leapt off the balcony, landing on the pad beneath them with a soft thud. “You coming?” He asked jokingly, knowing full well they wouldn’t jump. He was quickly proven wrong as Applejack leapt off and landed with the top of her hammer crushing a section of the ground. “When do we start?” Applejack asked with a wicked grin. “Twilight? Will you turn on the music, it’s the stereo next to you.” Twilight obliged and turned on the stereo, and Creed’s “Freedom Fighter” blared over the speakers. “That hammer is an extension of your soul, you must wield it like you control your limbs, with fluid grace. Try hitting me.” He explained. Applejack charged forward and did a thrust attack with the hammer, and fell over as Garn pushed down on the top knocking it to the ground. “What the hay?” Applejack prepared again and swung the hammer in a wide arc, only to have the same thing happen again. Garn smiled and raised his hands in front of him in a freestyle boxing stance. “I’m the one with no weapon here, this should be easy for you.” Applejack grunted and raised the hammer over her head. Garn suddenly dashed forward, pressing a palm against her chest, sending applejack and the hammer flying backward. “Applejack! Pinkie yelled, rushing to the aid of her friend. “I’m fine I’m fine. What the hay was that?” Garn picked up the hammer and set it standing on the pavement, walking over to offer applejack a hand. “I used your force against you, you have a great amount of power, but it needs to be refined.” Applejack grunted and stood, waving off the dust from her arms as she took up the hammer. She made another arc with the weapon and Garn braced himself to block, but instead of attacking she stepped forward and kicked him, catching him off guard. While he blocked her kick she brought the hammer down across his legs, knocking him to the ground. “Not bad for a filly eh?” She joked, raising her hand in victory. “Yeah, not bad at all. Again.” Garn remarked standing once again. A few hours later everyone was too tired to move, and retreated into the house where Pinkie had whipped up dinner. As they ate their meals in glorious peace, Garn noted that Fluttershy and Rainbow were sitting much closer together, and Fluttershy gazed at Dash between bites of her salad, blushing when Rainbow met her stare. After the meal they retreated to their rooms, leaving Garn once again to walk to the balcony and stare at the moon in silence. “Mom? If you can hear me, I want you to know we will defeat Chaos. Even…” He paused and looked to see if anyone was listening. With a deep sigh he closed his eyes and stared across the expanse of tree’s, his home. “Even if it costs me my life.” End part 4 Ch 5, A Dance with MoonlightCh 5, A Dance with Moonlight Garn remained on the balcony, staring at the stars feeling the weight of his consciousness weighing him down. It had already been three days, and he began to worry that the elements would not be ready to take on chaos. Then again, would he be ready to take on chaos? “Garnet?” He turned around and saw Princess Luna behind him, her deep blue eyes full of worry and something he couldn’t figure out. Fear? “Luna, What are you doing up so late?” She smiled and gave him a “really?” look. “Right, princess of the night and such.” She walked up beside him and watched his sullen movements, his preoccupied stare. “You told me I could use the words of power when I came here, were you speaking the truth?” He nodded and let his eyes fall on her pale and lovely face. “You were one with Miasma, you will have more access to your power than even I. Would you…” He paused as she smiled, her eyes peering deeply into his own. “Would I?” He quickly looked away, embarrassed at being struck mute by the innocent yet very old princess. “Would you like to learn a few of the ancient words?” She eagerly nodded her head. “Where can we go that will be safe?” He glided off the balcony and held his hand out, suddenly afraid the motion would be ill-accepted. She held his hand as his mind wandered with self-doubt, and he looked down to see her rising, holding his hand tightly all the while. “You lead.” He lead her off the balcony, soaring slowly away from the house and over the forest. She was awestruck by the way the moon cast its soft light over the trees, and in the near distance she saw where Garn was taking her. “By the stars.” she sighed. He smiled as they landed on a beach, and before them sprawled a wide lake, the moon had its reflection perfectly mimicked on the surface. “It’s…It’s beautiful.” She whispered. Garn saw how wide her smile was, and he found his gaze could not be taken off of her. “Yes it is.” He agreed, but on a totally different muse. She looked to him and blushed, her heart fluttering over the way he was looking at her. In all her life she had never had a man, a colt, even a mare look at her the way he was. “Garnet?” He snapped out of his fantasy and shook his head. But for an instance he thought he saw her looking at him the same way. “the first word I’m going to teach you is one of the simplest, but the most powerful. It is the word for stop, but is also synonymous with cold.” He stepped behind her and guided his hand down her arm, and held it out over the water. “the louder you speak a word of power, the more powerful it becomes. I am going to whisper the word to you, As softly as I can.” He brought his lips close to her ear, and as his breath reached her flesh she shivered. “Are you ready?” He asked, her body pressing closely to his. “Yes.” He felt the thrum of power echo inside his soul, and felt the familiar dark weight as he recalled the word. “Frije” He whispered as quietly as he could. Luna shivered and a gasp escaped her lips, the word made her felt cold all over, but the heat of the man holding her created a warmth she had never felt before. “Now focus your power into that word, feel the coldness, grasp it, control it.” She opened her eyes and gazed over the crystal surface of the lake. She straightened her hand and focused, feeling the word itself swell inside of her. “Frije” She whispered. The surface of the water shimmered, and small trail of frost stretched from her finger and touched the water, making no visible mark. “Louder.” Garn urged. She smiled, feeling some form of familiarity with the way he said it. “Frije.” Just above a whisper. The frost extended in a thicker field, and a small disc of frost began to form on the edge of the lake. ‘Louder.” Garn said with a smile, taking in the scent of morning dew from Luna’s hair. She turned her head trying to look at him, to say something she couldn’t quite grasp. As she turned her head his lips brushed against her ear, and a fire inside her burst into life, filling her with heat she never felt before. “Frije!” she cried out. A piercing bolt of glowing frost leaped from her hand, spreading across the lake like a blanket of snow. The power grew stronger, and Luna struggled to keep control of the sudden explosion of emotions and energy that coursed through her body. She fell backwards, letting Garn hold her tightly. She had been alive a hundred times longer than the man, yet in all that time she had never felt this way. “Luna. Open your eyes.” He whispered laughing lightly when he finished. She did, looking at him first. His eyes sparkled, and he smiled at her warmly. That smile was something Luna had never seen before, and it made her feel good. “Not at me, look at what you did.” He laughed. She blushed fiercely and looked forward to avoid his eyes, but gasped at the sight before her. The entire lake was frozen, a thin layer of sparkling diamond snow shining on top of the still frozen waves. She marveled, her eyes filling with tears from the sheer beauty. “Did…Did I do that?” She asked, covering her mouth with her hand, hiding the smile. “Yeah you did, that’s the power we share. Just us.” Luna nodded and turned to see him, and saw his eyes were filled with a deep sadness. “what about Chaos?” she inquired. “Chaos has twisted the words into his own. The words are…Horrid, and only can be used for pain. My mother taught me the words of power, and I suppose its only fitting I share them with you.” He paused and looked away, scratching his head in thought. “I want to teach them to you. There are so many words that can be used for joy, to bring happiness.” She smiled and suddenly closed her eyes, swooning and then falling over. Garn grabbed her and shook his head. He remembered his first time using the words of power. He was knocked out for a day. He lifted her up and carried her in his arms, ascending past the frozen lake back to the house. He looked at the moon, and then to Luna, feeling a blossoming feeling of protection, of… She stirred in his arms and opened her eyes, watching him as he flew closer to the house. She nestled her head into his neck, not even caring about her fear of what he might do. To her surprise he held her tighter, and she smiled as she heard his strong heart beating in his chest. “Do you have nightmares? Of miasma?” she asked. “I used to, but my mother taught me the words of power necessary to stop it’s influence.” She marveled at him and held tight even when he landed on the balcony. “Will you teach me the words?” He paused and bit his lip, he knew she was in no condition to learn new words. So he thought for a moment and came up with a solution. “you are to weak to learn them, but It creates a repellant field, so If I’m close enough to you, you too will be protected.” She blushed and let him set her down. She took his hand in hers and led him to the room she and Celestia were staying in. she looked inside and motioned for him to follow, and Garn noticed the princess was not in the room. “Where’s Celestia?” He asked, watching as Luna pulled the covers back on the bed. “She usually sleeps near the elements, she wants them safe in case of another possible attack.” She slipped into the bed and patted the spot next to her. He walked to the other side of the bed and went to take off his shirt, but stopped as he realized his habit would possibly make Luna uncomfortable. As if reading his mind Luna smiled and shook her head. “You know, in Equestria we don’t wear clothes.” she giggled. He gave her a “seriously” look and smiled as he realized she wanted him to be comfortable. “Yeah, but you are also ponies in Equestria, we don’t have the same… customs as Equestria does.” Luna shook her head and looked deeply into his golden eyes. His body was young, much younger than hers, but she knew he was different. “would you be more comfortable if I removed my clothes?” she asked, unaware of what she was implying. “No! Well… uh…” Garn muttered, blushing a deeper red than he ever had before. Why did this woman, this princess make him so nervous? “you can remove your shirt, I really don’t mind.” Luna coaxed, secretly hoping he would. He finally obliged and removed his shirt, laying on the bed a good arms length from Luna. He was feeling incredibly warm, and was hoping she would fall asleep. Luna sighed and inched closer, wrapping an arm across his naked chest, locking her eyes on his as a finger trailed across his shoulder. “So what are the words?” Garn collected his power and found the words within him. “Frije Vas Nora.” He whispered. The room hummed silently, and Luna made out words in a strange language phase in and out across the walls. “What does it mean?” she asked in wonder, instinctively laying her head on his chest to hear his heart beat. “It means, Stop the Night.” He whispered, making sure not to look at her as she trailed a hand across his chest, nuzzling into him as she got closer. “Garn?” He could tell she was half asleep, but he placed a hand on her head, stroking her hair slowly. “Yes princess?” She opened her eyes halfway and nuzzled him, feeling safe for the first time in a thousand years. “When we defeat Chaos, would you consider coming back to Equestria? Our kingdom could use one with talents such as yourself.” Garn swallowed his tongue and choked back a tear. “I guess that would be alright. I would like that. Very much.” She smiled and sighed. “I would like that very much too.” He didn’t have the heart to tell her he wouldn’t be able to go. Garn opened his eyes and saw he wasn’t in his bedroom with Luna any longer. He looked around and saw banners of twin Alicorns adorning the walls, the red carpet beneath him soft like clouds. “Garnet?” He heard someone call his name. He looked over his shoulder and saw Celestia, but no longer a human. The tall white Alicorn approached and smiled at him, motioning for a table laid out with assorted foods. “Please sit.” she beckoned. He sat down and Celestia sat beside him, towering a foot over him at least. “I didn’t know you could converse through dreams Celestia.” Garn stated, drinking the tea set before him. For a dream the tea was quite delicious. “I am a goddess, and you are as close to a god as I.” He choked on the tea and shook his head. “I told you, I’m no Alicorn.” She nodded her head thoughtfully. “That’s because you believe you are human, and that’s why your power is limited. But that’s not why you brought me here, is it?” Garn swore beneath his breath, she was smart. He sighed in defeat and served himself more tea, watching Celestia's regal eyes drill into his soul. “No… It’s about Luna.” Celestia smiled and closed her eyes. “she feels very strongly of you.” Garn looked up with a smile before it disappeared. “I…I know. that’s what I wanted to talk about.” “I fail to see a problem, if you hadn’t brought me here you would have dreamed of her, and even now she dreams of you. If there was a problem you wouldn’t have agreed to share your power with me.” Garn found himself suddenly frustrated. “And with chaos gone, you can take your rightful place with her forever.” He clenched his fists, and Celestia glanced at him with a stern expression. “Or is there something you’re not telling us?” “I wont be joining you all when we defeat chaos.” Celestia lowered her hovering glass and lowered her head. “It’s that final word isn’t it? The word that caused the Alicorns to lose the knowledge?” “Yes. I have to use that word to destroy Discord and Miasma once and for all. It’s a word that my mother made me swear never to use…because she doesn’t want me to pay the price she did.” Celestia wrapped a wing around him and he saw a tear fall from her eye. “The word she used to help me banish Luna. It sent her to this world didn’t it?” “Yes. The same word she uttered when I was born, giving me her power and the power to bring you all here.” Celestia began to understand what was at stake, and why they all had to be ready for Chaos. “Garn, I am about to ask you something of great importance, and you must answer truthfully. Do you understand?” Garn solemnly nodded, not knowing what the princes was about to ask. “If there was a way for you to return with us, to be with us in Equestria, would you come?” Garn nodded his head and tears began to fill his eyes. “Why would you come with us.?” Garn looked at her and laughed. “I think you know why I would.” Celestia smiled and nodded, holding him closer in the wing embrace. She did indeed, but he needed to tell her, it would help with his power. “Who is making you stay?” “Luna. I want to be there with her. She knows all the pain I felt, the promises of power. She knows what the price is, and she didn’t take it. Neither did I.” “Do you love her?” Garn opened his eyes and saw the sun shining through the windows, casting a glowing light on the woman asleep in his arms, her head still nestled against him. He reached over and stroked her midnight blue hair, and she smiled and cuddled against him. “Yes.” Ch 6, Training the WingCh 6, Training the Wing Garn stared at the ceiling, aware that he had just admitted to feeling he had never fostered before, what’s worse was that Celestia knew his history, yet he had not told the others, least of all Luna, who remained cuddled next to him. He couldn’t bare to think of what would happen when they defeated Chaos, what would happen when he used the final word to destroy him. “Garnet?” Luna whimpered, nuzzling him gently. “Yes Luna?” She smiled and leaned up, her blue hair waving in her face. “You said yes. What were you dreaming of last night?” Garn blushed and looked away, coughing even though he didn’t need too. “I dreamt of a land free of darkness and everyone being free to pursue their own happiness.” He quickly lied. She gave him a “Oh really” look, and then proceeded to get out of bed, making sure to look at him before he could catch her. She smiled softly, he had held her the entire night, and for the first time in a thousand years she didn’t dream of Miasma and the darkness. “That was the best night sleep I have had in a long time.” she stated, turning away so he could not see her smile. “Well it doesn’t have to be the last. I could teach you the words or… Or we could do this again?” She turned around with a wide grin, her hand resting on her hip, eyes blazing like a star. The look she gave him set off a fire within himself, and he found himself fighting the urge to lift her up and lay her down on the bed, beginning to- “Luna? Rainbow dash is asking for Garn.” Celestia said while poking her head in the door. Garn muttered a curse under his breath but secretly thanking her for breaking up a possible mistake. He stood and pulled a shirt on, walking out with Celestia leaving Luna, who gently lifted her hand and then brought it close to herself, mind running with new thoughts. Garn entered the living room and found Rainbow Dash hovering in mid air, her eyes drilling into his. “So why aren’t you training flutter and me?” Garn shrugged and stretched his arms out. “Saving the best for last Dash, your training is the hardest, most rigorous out of all the others, and I have something special for Fluttershy later, so for now it’s just you and me.” Dash smiled wickedly and lowered herself to his eye level, holding out her hand in challenge. “Last one to the top of the mountain kisses Celestias flank.” Garn grinned maliciously and felt the air become denser with the two of them preparing flight. Applejack opened the sliding door, and before it clicked open the two shot outside. She trailed behind him a good five feet, grunting as she pushed herself to move faster. Garn knew the limits of the human body during flight, and Dash would soon have to find out as well. He slowed down and suddenly stopped, watching as she shot past. Judging by the way her blur moved during flight, Garn knew she was moving at least 80 miles per hour. She turned around and cried out victoriously, and choked on the laugh as her body spun out of control, shooting towards the ground faster and faster. “Frije!” Garn yelled, and Dash came to an abrupt halt wrapped in a glowing red light. Her rainbow hair swayed in the breeze, and she looked up with a hurt expression on her face. He set her down gently and she merely laid on the ground, grunts and moans of pain echoing throughout the forest. “Shows you right, you don’t have the endurance of a Pegasus any longer.” He explained as she laid on the ground holding herself. “What does it feel like?” She grunted and he saw her fighting back tears. Tears of pain and defeat. “Does it feel like your skin is on fire? That every bone is screaming in fiery pain?” She nodded her head, averting his steel gaze. She flinched as he knelt beside her, and suddenly felt a golden light enveloping her. “Dash, you have nothing to be ashamed of. You can talk to me.” He soothed, holding his arms open as she sat up and stared at him. She sniffed hard and began to sob, jumping up to embrace him tightly, crying onto his shoulder as he hummed and patted her on the back. “So What’s been bothering you Dash? What’s really wrong?” Dash wiped her eyes and looked to the ground, clutching the fabric of her jeans s she tried to speak. “It’s Fluttershy…” Garn smiled he already figured. “And?” She shot him a glare and softened, sighing and blushing as she tried to put her feelings into words. “I’ve known her my entire life, and she is the best friend I ever had. But lately when we sleep in the same bed I get these feelings…” she looked at him beneath her hair and gripped the fabric tighter. “Down…down there.” Garn was the one to blush now. He had not expected this kind of problem, and quickly thought on how to go about it. He arrived a conclusion soon after, and sat next to Dash and staring at the sky. “That’s a normal emotion, your attracted to Fluttershy.” Dash raised a fist and opened her mouth, but quickly lowered it and looked away. “I know. But that feeling… I cant sleep when I look at her, and she rolls over and hugs me when she sleeps. I haven’t slept good since we got here.” “I can understand that, but there are… ways to control and release this tension. Although I’m not the one that has to teach you.” “Then who!” she yelled, quickly lowering her voice purely out of respect that he was attempting to help her. “I want you to go the lake, lay out a blanket, and think about Fluttershy. If you feel the need take off your clothes do so and trust me, you’ll know what to do from there.” She looked at him with a peculiar stare, stood, and then awkwardly held her arms out. “you can hug me Dash.” As soon as he said it her arms were around him, and she sobbed quietly with a smile on his face. “Thank you. I wont fail, I’ll come back soon better than ever!” she yelled joyously before shooting off in the direction of the lake. Garn shook his head and began to doubt what he had created, rather than just stand there looking like a fool, he decided it was time to Give Pinkie and Fluttershy the tools they would need to help the fight against Chaos. He landed at the front door and was greeted by applejack, who had gone from swinging the heavy War hammer to intricate thrusts and aerial maneuvers, even going as far as flip away backwards and bring the hammer down on a log, splitting it into tiny pieces. He looked over to his left and saw Rarity and Twilight dueling, graduating from throwing stones to casting streaks of piercing blasts of magic. He was proud of the girls. In a matter of days they had grown accustomed to their human forms and found the ability to fight, a skill his mother stressed to him the denizens of Equestria had buried. “Garny Warny!” Pinkie yelled as she drug Fluttershy to his side. “We want to train too! What can I do, am I going to be a ninja cupcake thrower? Oh! I can be the cake pirate arrggghhhhh.” she stated while leaping around him. He held his hands out to the two elements, a long slender leather pouch in one hand and a silver box in the other. Pinkie snatched the pouch and explored it’s contents while Garn had to open the box and show Fluttershy her gift. Pinkie was the first to notice, dragging an ebony black flute with gold winding vines on the outer shell from the pouch. Garn slipped a simple steel ring with a lone amethyst embedded in the center on Fluttershy’s finger, drawing a gasp from the shy woman. “It’s amazing…” She cooed, marveling at the shimmering jewel. “It’s a flute!” Pinkie cried out with a sing song voice. “Yes Pinkie, and this flute is very special, it has magical powers that can be activated with special songs, and I need you to memorize each and every song in the book. Before he could explain more Pinkie dashed into the house, and the light sounds of the flute could be heard inside. “Fluttershy, you will not be fighting at all, you serve a purpose greater than even me.” Fluttershy blushed and hid her face behind a bang of curly pink hair. “This ring is filled with a very, very special power. I’m going to show you.” He looked at Twilight and whistled for her attention. “twilight? Could you throw some magic my way, I need to work on my barrier spell.” Twilight obliged and sent a piercing hot blast at him, which he raised an arm to defend. The magic splashed over his arm, and he grunted in pain as the light subsided to reveal a blistered burn of a deep red hue. “What in Celestia's name!?” Twilight gasped. Fluttershy grabbed Garn’s arm and stared at it, unaware of why he would do that. “I’m so sorry Garn, does it hurt? Do we need to find a healer?” As she rambled the gem on her ring glowed brighter and brighter, and she stopped speaking as the wound began to heal, blisters subsiding and skin growing over the burned areas. In a matter of seconds the arm was completely healed, sans missing some hair. “Did I do that?” she whispered. Garn smiled and showed her his arm, which had everyone else beaming over it. “That’s the power of compassion Fluttershy.” A sudden boom echoed in the distance, and everyone’s eyes were drawn to the cause of the explosion. Fluttershy’s eyes widened as everyone looked up, seeing Rainbow Dash descending towards them, wrapped in nothing but a blanket and a wide grin spread across her face. “Dash! Are you alright?” Fluttershy asked, her eyes filled with love and worry. Dash looked at Fluttershy and shuddered, a wider grin growing on her face. “After we defeat Chaos, there's something I GOT to show you.” she sighed, running a hand through her hair as she gazed at Garn. “I just made a sonic rainboom.” she whispered while giggling. “And how do you feel?” Garn asked with his arms crossed, struggling to not smile. She shrugged and smiled softly, her eyes falling on Fluttershy more often. “Like I could take on the world. Like I need a nap.” Garn nodded his head at the house and Dash hovered inside, closing the door gently as she did. Fluttershy looked at him wide-eyed and mouth agape. “I haven’t seen Rainbow that relaxed in forever, what did you do?” Garn smiled troll style and shrugged. “I gave her the tools, she figured out how to use them.” He walked away from the crowd while whistling and went to the living room, marveling at how fast they were learning. At this rate they would be able to go against Chaos in a matter of days, if he didn’t attack by then. Ch 8, ChaosCh 8, Chaos Rays of light streamed in through the windows, revealing a tossing and turning Garn. His eyes shot open as he bolted forward, patting the space next to him with half lidded eyes. “Luna?” He looked over at the empty space and shot out of bed like a sonic rainboom, knocking over the end table as he threw a jacket on and rushed out into the hallway, where he ran straight into a cotton candy haired woman. “Oh hi Garn!” Pinkie yelled as she bounced up and down. Garn grabbed her by her shoulders and beamed at her, fear crossing his face. “Have you seen Luna?” Pinkie Pie nodded furiously and then went wide eyed, her mouth hanging open in a silly grin. “Did you two have sex!?” “Later Pinkie, where is she?” Pinkie nodded her head and then looked towards the living room. She had seen Luna walking past her sadly only a few minutes ago, and she looked awful sad. “She went to the balcony, something about deep thinking.” Garn whispered a thanks and pushed her aside gently. He knew she wasn’t normally a human, so what did that matter? He loved her, and he wouldn’t care what she looked like. He paused at the glass door as he saw her standing against the railing, wearing a black bathrobe taken from the bathroom connecting to their room. He paused as his hand reached for the door, and he decided his mind was made up. The door opened with a soft clack, and Luna turned to see Garn, his face warm yet serious. “Luna.” She smiled faintly and closed the door behind him with her magic, and paused as her arms shook, reaching out to hold him. He met her halfway and held her tight, burying his head in her soft blue hair. She stopped and sighed a sigh of relief, melting in his grasp as they held each other in the warm mountain breeze. “What happened last night?” He asked, curious and a but frightened at Celestias attack. Luna backed away and wrung her hands together, Garn thought secretly that it was the cutest thing she had ever done. “Tia…Celestia has been feeling a bit different since she became human. We both knew she was going to become more.” Garn crossed his arms and nodded his head. “She was feeling a bit horny?” Luna looked up as if to say something and quickly nodded her head. “She tried to molest me.” Luna stifled a bit of a laugh, drawing a confused look from her love. “This happened before, so when she gets like this I call her Molestia.” Garn couldn’t help it and laughed, the name was completely true to how she had acted, if not a little frightening at the time. “Why did you leave?” Luna turned away, her mind filled with doubt and fear. It was true that if they all successfully returned to Equestria he would be rightful prince. But would he be an Alicorn? Would he love her even if she was her original self? She felt his warm hand wrap around her waist and he twirled her around, planting a hot kiss on her unsuspecting lips. “No matter what you look like, be it pony, dragon or otherwise, I will always love you.” She smiled and buried her face in his arms, after all the things he had taught her, how could she doubt his love? “Oh how very, VERY touching.” Came a snide, sinister voice. Garn looked to his left and spotted a tall, slender man leaning against the window, in his hand a goblet filled to the brim with a black liquid. His black suit, strange in it’s making, had sleeves of red, and a golden tie with a series of black diamonds going to the bottom. His hair was white, with subtle streaks of black and brown that were swept back and slicked down. His red eyes narrowed at the couple before him, and he laughed softly whie drinking the strange drink. “Chaos!” Garn yelled, pushing Luna behind him. “Yes! It is indeed the lord of all that is wrong and chaotic himself!” He called out triumphantly, raising his hands to the air with a haughty laugh. “I have come for what is rightfully mine my dear little Garnet, the one thing your mother never gave, even when she screamed from the torture.” Garn clenched his hands into fists and gritted his teeth, fury rising within him. How dare he intrude? hadn’t the wards been enough to hold him back. “I thought we could take a moment and chat.” Chaos sighed as he saw the elements rushing towards him. He smiled a row of wicked sharp teeth and winked, taking the two into a strange area composed of shadow, with a single coffee table and three red chairs around it. Garn blinked and Chaos had reappeared in a chair, sipping a cup of tea with a sheepish grin. “Please sit down.” Luna frowned and held tight to Garn’s arm. “I don’t think so.” Chaos eyes flashed with rage for a second, before he resumed a grin and set his tea down. “I don’t think you understand. Please. SIT. DOWN.” Garn soon found himself sitting in the chair next to Luna, and unable to move. His power was to great to resist.. “You have something I want my dear Prince Garnet, and you want something I can easily provide.” Garn struggled against the unseen forces holding him down, but managed to shoot chaos a glare before speaking. “And that would be?” Chaos laughed and smiled, his red eyes focusing on Garn. “Your mother refused to give me a certain artifact of great power, even with her dying breath as I tore the very flesh from her bones she wouldn’t even squeak about it.” Garn felt rage well up inside him. “I want the knowledge of the forgotten words. A certain phrase in particular. After much, MUCH research and time wasted with torture, I found my answer, and you are the key.” His eyes took on a ferocious hunger as he leaned across the table, grabbing Garn’s face in his hand. “Technically speaking, you aren’t a key at all. But a book.” Luna looked at Garn in fear, and struggled against her constraints. “I know you love this woman, this goddess that I inhabited for a time, and I’m willing to give her to you, along with all the other elements in exchange for that one phrase.” Garn smirked and shook his head. “I don’t know what your talking about.” Chaos sighed and leaned his head to the side, balancing the coffee cup on a finger. “The Song that Shall End the World. Ring any bells?” he replied with a sneer. Garn had a look of sheer horror momentarily cross his face, and Chaos pointed and laughed at him. “You do know! The phrase that tore apart the Alicorn kingdom, to whisper it is to deny all that is life, it is a word of destruction, nothing more.” Chaos narrated, shivering as if from unseen pleasure. “All I want is for you to say it, whisper it like a river of fine silk, let me hear its succulent melody and I will let you go.” Garn looked away and closed his eyes. This…monster had killed his mother and so many others, why would he think Garn would so easily give him that power. “Because you love her.” Garn looked over and saw Luna, the one woman, creature he couldn’t stand to lose. “Garnet, don’t tell him.” Luna pleaded before having her mouth sealed shut with a rubber ball. Chaos laughed and looked at her, disappearing in acloud of smoke and reappearing behind her, trailing a clawed finger across the side of her face. “I do so love a good ball, amongst other fine activities. Think of it Garnet. You could be with her for an eternity, an eternity of pure bliss, and all you have to do is tell me the phrase.” Garn looked desperately at Luna as she continued to shake her head. “fine.” he whispered. Chaos grinned widely and brought his ear to Garn’s lips. “Tell me boy, and you shall be free.” Garn took a deep breath and swallowed the lump in his throat, gazing longingly into Luna’s eyes. “I’m sorry.” He glared at chaos as he looked greedily at the young human, for too long he waited, and now chaos would have his revenge. “I’ll tell you Chaos.” “Please do.” “The phrase is…” Luna shook her head furiously and struggled against everything with all her power, praying he wouldn’t give in. “Go fuck yourself. Pinkie NOW!” Garn yelled, breaking free of the restraints with a whispered word. “What!?” Chaos yelled, swiping at Garn as he looked above him, seeing a crack of light pierce the dark veil. A song, pure and strong, echoed across the space as Pinkie, Twilight, Applejack and Rainbow Dash landed beside Garn, all wearing clothing that matched their true roles. Twilight, wearing a purple and silver hooded robe, wrapped her hands around an unseen force, cast a streak of neon violet light at Chaos, who dodged it with in-human speed. “Clever boy, lowering my defenses with the promise of power, you could have been my own son.” “Shut UP! Rashul Strom!” Garn yelled, sending a blast of wind at the dark god. The blast knocked him back, and his claws dug into the ground as his tie came undone. “Twilight!” applejack called, wearing a leather tunic with padded armor covering the outside. Twilight whispered a spell and a violet light enveloped he hammer, and she struck the ground casting a shockwave at the vulnerable Chaos He grunted as the force tossed him in the air. “Now for a Rainbow Smack down!” Dash cheered, grabbing Chaos and flying high, turning sharply to spiral with increasing speed back towards the ground. She released and pulled up, sending the body of Chaos Shooting into the ground with a loud boom. Garn ran to Luna, whispering her release and holding her tight, casting the ball to the side. “Very good, I didn’t know you trained them so well.” Chaos coughed, standing to his feet as he whipped his neck around with a grotesque crack. “I didn’t train them, we all helped each other.” Chaos laughed and rotated his arm, looking to the elements and then back to Garn. “Well that’s a shame. I’ll feel even better when I make each of them realize true fear.” He lowered his arms and took a deep breath, dark tendrils of energy seeping from his mouth as he smiled wickedly. “Nustra Unferu!” His voice called like the deepest grave. Everyone screamed and fell to their knee’s, including Luna as she grabbed at her ears and cried softly. Garn shot Chaos a glare as they circled each other, god against god. Good versus evil. Order versus Chaos. “I’m surprised, that phrase even worked on your dear mother, and might I say she let me have quite a bit of FUN before she let loose her last breath.” “Don’t speak of her that way.” Garn warned, feeling a familiar fusion of rage and need to protect flaming within him. “And what if I had my way with her? I never got the chance to when she was an Alicorn.” “Fler Vas Ragta!” Garn roared, his voice filled with power. Chaos eyes widened as a cyclone of flame erupted from Garn’s mouth, engulfing him in the searing flames, all of Garn’s anger, his hope, his sorrow and his love washed over him in the attack. Chaos fell to his knees as his skin crackled and his suit melted away, parts of stagnant burning fabric still clinging to flesh. “That’s it… no more games.” “Indeed Chaos, there shall be no more.” Celestia called as she materialized in a flash of light next to Garn, wrapped in a silk raiment and her spear in hand. Garn looked to her and smiled, she was back to normal. With a nod of her head she poised her spear at the burned body of chaos, but his eyes were unaffected, glaring with a growing rage at the two before him. “Celestia, I need you and the elements to hold him, I need to finish this.” Celestia nodded and whistled, the sound rising like a note on the wind. The other elements stirred from their nightmares, and rushed to her and Garn’s side, Fluttershy descended with Rarity in tow, both standing with the group. “This is it Chaos, I’m going to do what the Alicorns should have done to begin with. There is no punishment great enough for what you did, and now you will pay with your life.” Garn stated, stepping forward as a long javelin of ice formed in his extended hand. The burned god glared at him as he remained kneeling, and then stood with flakes of charred flesh falling from his body. “Get up, I want you standing when I kill you.” Chaos choked back a laugh and swayed to the side. “I am one with Miasma, do you really think you can kill me.” Garn looked to the others, and saw Luna standing next to her sister. “Twilight, I need you to deafen everyone here except Chaos, can you do that?” Twilight gasped at his unfeeling gaze but quickly nodded her head, focusing her magic to deafen the others. “Celestia, hold Luna back.” Luna struggled as Celestia held her, and backed away as the other elements surrounded Chaos and Garn. Garn looked one last time at Luna before the elements surrounded them in a rainbow glow. “you wanted the words to end the world, but there really are no words to end a world, but here are words to end a life.” Garn remained stoic in his stance, readying the ice javelin at Chaos’ heart. “and they will be the last words you hear…” He closed his eyes and sighed, opening them with newfound resolve. “And the last I‘ll speak.” With a yell he plunged the javelin through chaos, who let loose a cry of pain and rage. The elements focused their energy on chaos, binding him as Garn leaned in to whisper into his ear. “Solu Desver” The light erupted out of Chaos’ eyes, ears, and mouth, a light that shattered the dark realm they were trapped in. Garn felt the words drain his strength as it was Chaos, and a tear fell down his cheek as Chaos gave him one final glare before falling backwards, his body erupting into ash as it fell to the ground. “We…we did it!” Dash was the first to cheer. The cheering was cut short as Garn smiled weakly, and fell forward into the arms of Luna. “Garnet!” He looked up and smiled, feeling the pull as his soul began to leave his body. “Wait… I have a few things to say.” The group gathered around him, all faces frightened and sad. “I hate monologue, but for this, I’ll make an exception.” he stated as he looked to all of them, his friends. “Fluttershy?” She came over with wide teary eyes and nodded “I’m gonna lay it on you straight, Rainbow dash is REALLY into you. Don’t go and hurt her feelings.” Fluttershy turned bright red and looked at Dash, who was looking the other way. “Rainbow?” Dash looked at her and smiled, nodding her head slowly. “Twilight, you are a very powerful mage, the best I’ve ever seen, but you have to forsake study and duty and find yourself someone that will make you happy.” Twilight nodded and smiled weakly, she was terrible at lying. “Rarity, you need to not have such high standards, period.” Rarity looked horrified, but then looked away with a guilty expression on her face. “Applejack, you need to act more like a lady than a man.” Applejack shook her head and then grabbed his hand in hers. “You got it partner.” He looked at Pinkie Pie, whose hair was now straight and her face pale with sadness. “Pinkie, I want a party when you get back to Equestria.” Pinkie perked her head up with a curious look. “A… A party?” Garn chuckled and nodded. “Yep, I want balloons and pie, lots of games and good music. And I want you to make me red cupcakes." Pinkie smiled as her hair went back to curly like cotton candy, Garn still didn’t know how she did that. “Celestia, you need to get laid. Get a royal guard, lock yourself in your chamber, and go hay wire.” Celestia blushed and nodded her head. He finally looked to Luna and saw her smiling at him, but tears were running down her face. He reached up and brushed her cheek, pausing as he gazed into those deep blue eyes. “I love you Luna, and I’m sorry I never got to… you know.” He smiled at her, wishing he could be with her one last time. “You’ll be buried with all the honors royalty deserves.” Celestia solemnly said. “I want a grave for my mother too.” Luna cried louder and held him tight. “Please don’t leave.” Garn laughed and then grunted as the last of his strength began to fade. “Not before I get you home.” He whispered a familiar song his mother sang to him, one of home, of longing, of friendship and love. The light around all of them was warm, and as he closed his eyes he captured the last image he could of Luna, the one he loved. Guess this is it. Its so bright. But… shouldn’t I be gone? Not yet my child… Ch 9, RebirthCh 9, Rebirth Well this is it. Garn felt like his spirit was wandering amidst an ocean, the waves enveloping him as he floated across the seas of time. He defeated Chaos, and righted a great wrong done before his time. He should feel exhilarated, but he should also be feeling nothing. Is Luna alright? Is Chaos Still Alive? Did I fail? “She is fine, as are all your friends.” “Who are you? Show yourself.” Garn asked, his body light and his mind free of any worry or sorrow. “Don’t you recognize me? Well perhaps you should open your eyes.” Came the sweet familiar voice. Garn Opened his eyes, and found himself standing in a large spacious area, white light shining from an unknown source. Garn felt like his head was clearer than it had ever been before, and he turned his head to see where the voice was coming from. “I’m sorry, I forgot that you cant see me unless I will it.” A crack and a flash of golden light and a tall Alicorn stood before him, her wild white mane complimenting her golden fur. Her large Golden eyes peered into his, and a smile spread across her muzzle, which filled Garn with a familiar happiness. “Mom?” She smiled and nodded her head, and Garn rushed forward to wrap his arms around her neck. “But, the Soul destruction phrase, it kills both people, how are you here?” Nether laughed and patted him on the head as if he was still a child, it had made her proud to see her son grow up. “It did, but the power of love and friendship transcends even the ancient words of power. You should know that Garnet.” He nodded his head and sat down, finding a comfortable couch where he was laying back. Nether nodded with a smile and sat next to him, hugging him with her wing as she closed her eyes. “I am so proud of you Garnet. You found love, made friends, and defeated chaos, something your father and I could not accomplish.” Garn stared at her and tried to remember who his father was, he hadn’t been there to raise him. “He sacrificed his life when you were born to hold Chaos back so that I could escape with you. He was a kind man, and a very powerful master of magic.” Garn nodded his head and shifted uneasily in his seat. “What was his name?” Nether smiled and shook her head with a chuckle. “Called himself Diamond Jack. He was a magician in Las Vegas. When he found me after I was sent here, he nursed me back to health and we fell in love.” She smiled as if recalling a distant memory, and then lowered her head in sadness. “He was courageous and true. Never had I met a man or stallion like him before.” She then looked to her son and grinned with a cocked eyebrow. “But you know about the joy of love don’t you my dear Garnet?” Garnet nodded his head, memories of Luna filling his head like a sped up film. He lowered his head into his hands and whimpered. “what would you give to be with her again?” she asked, smiling faintly before locking eyes with him. He would give everything, he envisioned having her there to hold him, for them to face any challenge the way he had always planned. Together. “I would give everything, I would give my soul.” Nether smiled brightly and placed a hoof on his shoulder. “What if I could send you back, for a price of course.” Garn looked at her, eyes filled with hope. “Can you?” Nether stood and walked away from the couch, looking over her shoulder with a wink. “I was at one time Goddess of time and space, I may have enough power left in me to send you back… to Equestria.” Garn felt his jaw drop, and Nether laughed at the sight, she had almost forgotten what it was like to see a human’s reactions. “You can send me to Equestria? that’s fantastic!” Nether laughed and messed with Garn’s hair, smiling as she recalled performing the same action when he was a child. “However, you would be a bit… different when you returned.” Garn shook his head, he could care less how he came back, just as long as he could have her back. He wanted more than ever to be with her, to feel her body pressed tightly to his, her lips… “Too much info my son.” Nether chuckled. “Mind reading?” She smiled and raised an eyebrow, nodding her head in response. “One of the perks of being in my place.” Garn walked up and hugged her, feeling her wrap her hooves around him. “I love you mom.” She laughed and squeezed him. “I expect grandkids, you understand?” Suddenly he felt like the entire area was vanishing like sand in the wind, watching as the white room was soon becoming fainter and fainter. He smiled and waved at his mother before saying a final goodbye. Take care…my dear Garnet. ~After the Storm~ “Princess! He twitched! I saw it I saw it I saw it!” An incessant cry pierced Garn’s peace. He opened his eyes slowly and winced at the light, raising a hoof to cover the light A hoof? He looked around and saw a pink pony with familiar hair leaping around his bed, and as he turned his head he saw six more approaching him. The room was gorgeous, whit with great pillars, and a plethora of balloons tied to the bed post. “Pinkie?” She got wide eyed and wiggled her flank like a dog, leaping faster as he spoke. “Oh my god yes! You remember!” She lunged forward and wrapped her pink hooves tightly around his neck, and he grunted as pain shot down his spine. He felt heavier, bigger, and there was a feeling on his back he never felt before. “Garnet? How are you feeling?” Twilight asked, her cute purple face scrunched with her holding back her tears. Her purple hoof was placed at the edge of the bed, and he began to recognize all the others. Rarity and Applejack were at the other side, both smiling widely as they cried softly, Fluttershy and Dash were hovering above him, both pushed tightly against each other as Dash brushed her chin with her hoof. “I knew it would take more than that to kill the best flyer on earth.” He laughed, it hurt. “Ow. Where’s Celestia?” He felt her presence next to him, and he looked up to se her soft smile spread wider as he waved a hoof at her. “So?” She blushed and chuckled, averting his eyes as she shuffled a hoof against the floor. “Not yet, I was going to wait until you woke up.” Garn raised an eyebrow he supposed and smiled. “And what if I didn’t wake up?” “silly, we knew you would wake up!” Pinkie proclaimed, pulling at the sheets with her teeth. “You look much more refined as a royal Alicorn, you must let me design your raiments my lord.” Rarity whispered, her eyes widening anxiously. My lord? He stepped out of the bed and popped his back, feeling the weight of his hooves as they supported his well defined frame. “Twilight? A mirror please.” Celestia whispered. A mirror hovered up to him, and Garn gasped at the reflection. He was as tall or taller than Celestia, with a wide chest and a slender face. His mane, as gold as the sun, shone as he whipped it around experimentally. His eyes were no longer blue, they were red as rubies, and he marveled at the ivory horn atop his head. He looked back with a giddy grin and rustled his wings, and thanked his mother quietly for a second chance. “Where’s Luna?” He asked, stepping forward and toppling over in the process, this would take some getting used to. “She’s asleep, you need to rest too.” Celestia urged. Everypony began to agree aloud with Celestia, and Garn became growingly annoyed. He grunted and stood to his full height, stretching his wings as far as they would go. As soon as he did the others, including Celestia became very quiet, and their eyes widened even bigger. “What? What is it?” he asked, looking at the mirror and startling himself. His feathers were gold and red, a gradient that started at the edge of his feathers and progressed to the appendage that held them. He whistled and posed, stretching each individual wing so he could see all the feathers. “Wow. That’s… well that’s not in any of my books.” Twilight whispered, her eyes drinking in the majestic sight. “I’ll ask again, where is Luna?” Celestia motioned for the balcony and nodded. “Her tower is to the east, just fly up and try not to wake her, the last month has been…trying for her. A month!? He sighed and walked to the balcony, watching with awe as the view revealed the whole kingdom. It was so much more…colorful than earth. Plenty of time to explore later, now I have to find Luna. He leaped off the balcony, feeling the wind as it rushed through his outstretched wings, the feeling of flight was amazing, and he became more and more appreciative of his new body. He landed on the tall tower balcony and walked to the window, knocking lightly with his hoof. “I don’t want to talk Tia, leave me be.” He lowered his head, she sounded so sad. He knocked again, harder this time. He heard rustling and then the door clicked, and a tall black Alicorn met him face to face, her eyes burning with anger. “I said I don’t want!” she stopped as she saw Garn, and a few silent seconds passed. “Ga…Garnet?” He smiled sheepishly and bowed low. He waited for her response, and as he looked back at her he saw the same sultry, lust filled glare she gave him that night they… “Please come in.” She whispered with a husky edge. He felt like he had been hypnotized, the way she moved back into the room with her hips swaying. Damn! She closed the door behind them with a soft click and watched him, moving around to look at him more closely. “You look… well.” She finally said, shaking her head to try and fight back her lust. He smiled and approached, and with every step forward she took a playful step back. Finally he had her against a wall, and he leaned in to nip at her ear. “You can look Luna, I don’t mind.” She sighed with a content smile and circled him, occasionally grazing him with a flick of her tail. He noticed she had the ethereal hair of her sister, with the twinkling of the midnight stars within. The scent of her hair sent shivers down his spine, and he yelped as she trailed her tongue against his neck. “You taste good.” She whispered, nibbling at the corner of his ear. Wow! “Uh… Luna, don’t you wanna talk or…something?” She grinned and pressed a hoof to his chest, looking at his wings for a second before she winked alluringly at him. “Your right, first I wanna get those wings popping.” Garn didn’t get what she was saying before she leaned in and kissed him, her eyes closing as the intensity grew. He closed his eyes and felt the rush of happiness flood back inside of him, this world, this goddess, he would do everything in his power to protect them, to love them. He felt her tongue enter his mouth as his mind wandered, and he felt his wings extend with a satisfying pop. She backed away and smiled devilishly, gazing at the wings as they spread wide. “Very nice.” She moaned, wrapping her arms around Garnet with a strength he didn’t know she had. “you once apologized to me for something you didn’t do, are you going to make that wrong right?” He smiled and nuzzled her, his golden hair falling across his face. “Damn straight I am. Authors note: Romance scene? Add comment if you want one or not! If not I just skip right to Ch 9, with a bunch of new twists and action for our new Alicorn. Ch 10, A New BeginningGarn awoke to the sound of light snoring, an looked down beside him with half-lidded eyes. Sound asleep next to him was his love, Luna, with her hair sprung out and light red marks along her neck. She stirred as he ran a hoof through her hair, and he smiled to himself. How did I get so lucky? He stretched out and popped his wings, hobbling out of the bed quietly while waltzing over to the door, opening it with a soft red aura that emanated from his horn. He noticed some time had passed since Luna pinned him on the bed and exposed him to pleasure he had never even fathomed. With a chuckle he looked down at the base of his wings and saw the multiple nibble marks she had given him, and cringed slightly as he stretched out his neck. Note to self, Luna likes to nibble. He was happy, content was probably the better term. But… He realized he knew nothing of being a royal, of helping to run a kingdom, he didn’t even know what he was meant to do. He shot out of deep-thought as a warm body pressed against his, and he looked over to receive a kiss from the moon goddess he called his love. “I would think after that particular maneuver you did, you would be passed out for days.” she chuckled, looking at the stars with a warm smile. “Not used to being on all fours. But in all seriousness I wanted to ask…How are you doing?” He asked while looking into her worried eyes. She sighed and looked away, her eyes clouded with despair, sorrow, and extreme joy. He thought this was a little to fast, a little to much for her. “when we came back you were still human, then about a week later Celestia went to check up on you and said you had become an Alicorn, yet you did not breathe. We assumed you were dead, but I felt like you would come back…I wanted you to come back.” He raised a hoof to her chin and she locked eyes with his, her star filled blue orbs meeting the flaming passion of his fiery red ones. She gasped as he did his best to pull off a kneeling stance, and he held her hoof between his. “Luna, I’m sorry I worried you. I didn’t know if I would be able to return, and every second I thank my mother that she had the power to help me. All I can do now is swear to never worry you again, and to help with your duties as best as I can for now until we part.” He smiled, rubbing her leg with his hoof as she got a strange smile on her face. “Shut up and propose already.” He sighed and smiled, she was too good at this. “Luna, will you make me the happiest Alicorn in all Equestria, and accept my proposal of marriage?” He asked, suddenly realizing he was indeed the only Alicorn in Equestria. Well that was stupid. She laughed seeing his apparent catching of himself, and leaned down to kiss him. As she slowly parted she blushed, a Alicorn wedding hadn’t taken place in over a thousand years, so much planning… “Is that a yes?” She looked back down to him as she felt tears welling up in her eyes. “Oh Garnet, of course that means yes.” He smiled and stood, trembling as he looked to the kingdom and shouted at the top of his lungs. “SHE SAID YES!” She laughed and pulled him back into the room, pushing him on the mountain of pillows as she traced soft kisses down his neck. “What? don’t tell me you want to go another round.” He groaned, still sore from her hunger for pleasure hours ago. “What? Are thou not ready?” she asked, using the old dialect she knew he found seductive. “No, milady, indeed I am most ready, but my loins… they still burn.” She laughed and nuzzled his neck, looking at him with the most passionate stare she could muster. “Please? Just one more round and I promise I’ll let you sleep.” He rolled over while she yelped in surprise, and she found herself pinned beneath him. “Only if I’m on top.” ~+~Inside the Castle.~+~ Celestia paced outside the captains quarters, mulling silently to herself how she should proceed. Inside was her most loyal guard, Guard Captain Steelwings. He was very muscular, and large even for a Pegasus. He had served her without question or fail for fifteen years, and she knew he was the only one that could keep any kind of encounter quiet. She finally took a breath and knocked on the door. The door opened and an older white Pegasus with black short hair stepped out, and he immediately bowed to the princess. “Princess Celestia! What are you doing out of your chambers this late at night?” She had run the scenario through her head multiple times, but her hunger soon unraveled most all the plan. “I am in need of a guard to guard my chambers this night, and I believe you are the strongest and best choice for the job.” He paused and raised an eyebrow, staring at her feet to avoid her gaze. “highness, surely you have the two guards at the door ready to defend any danger with their lives? I am confused highness.” She groaned and lowered her head so he could see her eyes, and he immediately was drawn to the large purple orbs. He shuddered as she peered into him, and he suddenly felt a heat rise in his stomach. “Even a goddess has needs Steelwings, and I know you wont brag to the cadets if you help me with this particular problem.” He nodded his head meekly as she smiled, and then he stood straight up. “Majesty, I shall personally guard your chambers this evening, please let me escort you to them right away.” She laughed softly and brought her lips to his ear, subtly blowing a warm breath into it. “Believe me Captain, you wont regret this.” “Yes Princess.” As they walked towards her chamber she shuddered with a smile, turning to the captain and grabbing his shoulders. She needed something to tide her over even for the short walk. His eyes widened as she leaned in and kissed him ferociously, allowing her tongue to probe her faithful captains mouth. He shuddered as she parted, and the sun goddess placed a hoof on her mouth thoughtfully. “Will I be your first Guard Captain?” she asked with a flick of her tail. Steelwings, still completely fried from her surprise kiss, nodded his head and continued to follow as she swayed her flank, getting closer to the large ornate doors that marked the entrance to her chambers. Two guards snapped at attention, and Steelwings fought to keep his composure. “Dismissed soldiers.” He near squeaked. They looked at each other and looked back to him, and he had regained his stern demeanor. “I said DISMISSED!” They jumped at the sound of his voice and sprinted off, leaving him and the princess alone. She laughed and placed a hoof on his back, winking at him as she leaned in to nibble at his neck. “You’ll be screaming too in a short while.” He added as coolly as he could. Her eyes burned with passion as she levitated him with her magic and walked into the chamber, slamming the door as they disappeared out of sight. ~+~Morning~+~ Garn sat in bed, messing with his new mane with glee, occasionally posing in the mirror in front of him while Luna ran to get him breakfast. He had slept more soundly than he ever had, mainly due to the unscrupulous acts of lust he had partaken in the previous night. He tied his mane back into a tail and stood, walking to the balcony as he looked over the entire castle grounds. Something caught his eye and he squinted to see if what he saw was true. No bucking way… He saw Celestia leave her chambers, followed by a smiling Pegasus. As they leaned in to exchange words, he began to happily walk away as she slapped his flank. She then paused and looked right at Garn, a wide smile on her face as she winked at him. Good for you Celestia. “Garnet? I brought you breakfast!” Luna cried, entering the room with three carts magically in tow. “Great! I’m starved.” He sat down and saw a plate of strange looking assortments of fruit, grass, and salads. He knew he would miss meat. “Try the hay-bacon strips, their amazing today.” Luna stated between bites of her salad. He gingerly lifted one with his magic and took a small bite, and found himself greedily scarfing them down. She laughed as he looked at her, his mouth covered in berry juice and coffee. “You eat like a filly.” He smiled and poked her, and she playfully poked him back. “Filly? Could a Filly make you scream like you did last night?” Came a voice behind them. Garnet smiled at Celestia as she sat next to her sister, pouring herself a cup of tea. “Did you hear that Tia?” Luna asked horrified. “Almost couldn’t over my own screaming.” She replied with a wink. Garnet crossed his arms and smiled widely. “Who’s the lucky stallion?” She smiled and closed her eyes, sighing with ease as she laid her cup down. “Steelwings, I suppose he got that name for being an expert flyer, but that wasn’t the only steel thing on his persons.” “Celestia! Too much information!” Luna shrieked with a giggle. Garn just shook his head and continued to eat his hay fries, extra crispy. “Celestia, I asked your sisters hand in marriage.” Celestia stared with her mouth wide, and then looked to Luna before they both released a high pitched fan-girl shriek. Luna was waving her hooves around as they spoke complete gibberish. “Oh! And he got his cutie mark!” Luna yelled, drawing a confused look from her mate. What? She pointed to his flank, and he saw what she spoke of, there, as sure as day, were four symbols in a diamond formation, a gust of wind, a flame, a drop of water, and a vine. “What is a cutie mark?” He asked, finally noticing Luna’s moon shaped marking. “It’s a symbol of your talent, the one thing you’re good at. Although I am not sure what yours symbolizes. Perhaps you are skilled with elemental magic?” Garn stared at his mark and had a sudden epiphany. “Luna, you control the moon phases, while Celestia controls the Sun right?” Luna nodded, not putting the pieces together. “Then if you two are night and day, perhaps I’m the elements, or even the seasons!” He stood and aimed his horn at the urn on the balcony, waving around in a arc as he envisioned the essence of cold. “Frije!” The pot flew off the balcony frozen solid as it evaporated into crystal dust as it struck the ground. Luna looked horrified and then laughed loudly, shaking her head in confusion. “That was my favorite plant!” Luna cried, making her sister laugh even louder. “Sorry Celestia, I promise I’ll replace it.” Celestia sighed and shook her head with a growing grin. “I’ll let this slide, but only because you are getting married to my sister. I would take this chance to get ready.” He cocked his head to the side and looked to Luna. “Get ready?” Luna nodded and bit her lower lip nervously. “I might have…invited everypony to come see the new prince of Equestria last night.” You what!? He was not good at talking to large groups, but she just told everypony last night, ho many would attend? ~+~A few hours later, in the palace gardens.~+~ “How many!?” Luna laughed nervously and messed with her hair, which was done back in a royal braid. “Well only about one thousand, I lost count after the line stretched back into the city.” His entire body was shaking, he was freaking out hardcore. “Oh, I know what would boost your confidence.” Luna stated, adding a sultry wink. “I don’t really think we have time for that Luna.” She pulled him close and brought her lips to his, but stopped short. “You are going to kiss me, trust me.” He did, and he leaned forward, kissing her tenderly, and then more ferociously as she pulled away. Was she teasing him? He decided to take it a step further, slapping her flank lightly. Wow! Talk about confidence builder. He parted with a grin on his face, and heard the trumpets that signaled Celestia's speech. “Dearest citizens of Equestria! Today we mark a turning point in our history, a momentous change in the events that will follow. So without any further delay, may I introduce my sister, Princess Luna, and her fiancé, Prince Garnet!” The curtains parted from the hall and Garn saw thousands of other ponies, Pegasus, and unicorns cheering loudly, some jumping up and down just to get a look at him. He felt like he was going to faint, there were far to many ponies for him to remain calm. He felt Luna lean against him and she winked, leaning in to whisper to him. “Just imagine me in a tight wedding dress, and all the things I’ll show you on our honeymoon.” Why would I want to think of that!? POP! The entire crowd suddenly went silent, and the sounds of muffled oohs and awes, could be heard as his wings extended to their full reach. He then smiled, standing proudly as he brought them over his chest and throwing them back, sending a gust across the crowd. Celestia smiled and nodded to him, he had to say something. “People…Ponies of Equestria, I am happy to announce my marriage to Luna, and I’m sure you all are filled with questions. All I can say is that as long as I shall live, I promise to defend each and every one of you, and provide any assistance I can. But I am not a trained noble, so if I seem a little… Normal, then it’s merely because I want you all to treat me like you would anypony else.” He stopped and stepped back, waiting for some kind of reaction. Then a little colt, a child he supposed, came forward very nervously. His white-brown fur shone in the sun, and a single dark brown spot covered his eye. “Will you and Luna be visiting Ponyville soon?” He asked quietly, looking to Luna. She smiled and knelt, nuzzling the young lad. “Of course Pip, we will be more than happy to visit.” He laughed and jumped around, and soon everypony was applauding. “All hail Prince Garnet!” Garnet smiled as tears came to his eyes. This was a new beginning, and it was one he was eager to be apart of. “And you are all invited to the royal wedding next week!” Celestia called. What? It had been almost two weeks since the ponies had made the change from their original forms to human, and over the course of those short weeks each and every one of them found something inside them they never had known before. Rainbow Dash, upon learning of her new found “Sonic Scream-Boom,” Had a steady schedule of going to the lake for an hour after she trained in her aerial maneuvers and with her bow, which Garn had given her from his mothers collection. She still had trouble sleeping next to Fluttershy, but created a new technique called the “Sonic whisper.” Garn rolled his eyes upon hearing about that. Applejack had graduated from logs to sparring with Rarity after discovering her hammer could reflect magic, and after two rounds the duo started to actually talk and enjoy each other, even going as far as to sharing the hot tub after training. Twilight had immersed herself in the study, researching the human race through a plethora of history books and being allowed to use the computer to find the glories of the internet, which Garn had previously viewed as a bad idea. She still hadn’t figured out the relevance of Nyan Cat. Pinkie had almost mastered every song in Garn’s book, finding that each of the songs had a particular effect, ranging from making her friends stronger to revealing the true self of others. She spent any free time making food for everyone, including meat sandwiches for Garn. Fluttershy spent her days in the forest, taking care of the local wildlife including the eagles and hawks, which were a growingly endangered species on earth. Her ability to heal with the ring had become much more pronounced since she no longer had to stress over Rainbow Dash. Celestia remained with the elements, holding back her true strength and mastering her power over her spear. She would had begun to bunk with Twilight Sparkle, but Garn soon noticed there was something…different about the sun princess. She began to look upon him and Luna with a mixture of happiness and jealousy, and it was getting worse every day. Luna had mastered some of the most powerful words in a matter of days, and had grown accustomed to sleeping with Garn at night, no longer fearing the nightmares as long as he was near. She had grown to love the kind man, but the seed of doubt was planted and she feared he would be unable to come back to Equestria, but as long as she was with him she didn’t think about it. Garn had found himself growing much stronger since the elements arrived, the fellowship of friendship something he never had before. Being raised by one parent out of the reach of other people hadn’t left him any kind of experience with people, but in only a few weeks that all changed. He reflected on everything he had learned and went to the kitchen, opening the cupboards to find some sort of nourishment. As he opened each cupboard he began to realize they had nothing left, and the day he slowly dreaded was finally here. “Luna?” He called. She walked into the kitchen, sporting sweats and one of his baggy shirts, her hair still wet from her shower a few minutes previous. “What is it Garnet?” He smiled, she had begun to use his full name, and for once he didn’t mind. Well he did mind when Pinkie called him Garny Warny. “We are out of food, I have to run to the city to get some more.” Her eyes sparkled, she knew he was going to ask. “The rest of the others aren’t ready for the outside world, it’s filled with hatred and violence, but I wanted to know if you would like to go out with me to pick up some food.” She nodded her head. She was anxious to see more humans, but also afraid. She shook out her hair and walked up to him, trailing a finger flirtatiously across his chest. “Are you asking me on a date Garnet? He blushed, that truly wasn’t his intention. But the thought was indeed enticing. He smiled down at her and nodded his head. “Should I ask formally?” She laughed and pushed him back. “Might not be a bad idea.” She let her gaze linger, for the past few nights she had been extremely happy to be with him, and being genuinely alone was not a bad idea at all. “I’ll go talk to my sister.” Luna walked downstairs and found her sister leaning back in the hot tub, her hair pulled back in a tail, and her eyes closed. “Tia?” Celestia opened her eyes and looked at her younger sister, knowing exactly what she had come to ask. “So he finally decided to take you to the outside world, to the city where more humans dwell.” Luna nodded and sat on the edge of the tub, noticing her sisters strange change in behavior. She was much more tense, and avoided being close to Garn at all cost. “Yes he did. But I’m more interested in talking about you sister, what is bothering you?” Celestia sunk into the water, the jets pounding against her back, she would have something similar made when they got back to Equestria. “Is it Garnet?” Celestia shot her sister a bright glare and closed her eyes. “Yes, but you shouldn’t worry, if I controlled my urges this long then there wont be a problem, besides his heart belongs to you.” She sighed, a slight edge of anger added to her voice. “How long sister?” Luna inquired, knowing Celestia knew of what she spoke of. “Since before I sent you away.” Luna stared wide-eyed at her sister, had it been a thousand years since… “Sister you remember what happened the last time you had these urges take control of you.” Celestia stood, the water dripping off her naked body as she glared at her sister with her teeth bared. “Don’t quote my mistakes little sister, you would do well to remember who banished you before.” Her eyes softened as she realized what she said, and sunk back in the bath avoiding the eyes of Luna. “I’m sorry. It grows worse with each passing day.” Luna leaned over and hugged her sister tightly, she knew. “Tia, you have to find a way to control them. Perhaps Rainbow Dash can show you what she learned. Celestia paused and thought, it was indeed true that Rainbow Dash had grown quite good at controlling her urges. “I’ll go speak to her after you and Garnet take your leave.” Luna smiled and stroked her sister hair, even on Earth it had an ethereal quality to it. “watch over the others, they are not yet ready for the outside world.” Celestia nodded and resumed laying in the bath, her mind focused on her urges as they began to spiral out of control. Garn met Luna in front of the house, and waited anxiously for her to come out. He had to prepare all the information about human life and behavior for her, and Rune was not the best city to display the good sides of humankind. He heard the door open and he looked behind him, his mouth hanging open at what he saw. She wore a very slender black dress, with subtle hues of blue that sparkled in the light of the setting sun, her hair fell carelessly behind her back, and her eyes reflected the millions of stars she had created. “Garnet? Did I overdress?” Luna asked, put off by his slack-mouthed silence. “No…No, you look absolutely stunning. Where did you get that dress?” She blushed. “Rarity whipped it together for me, said it was on the house because of my hot date.” Garn smiled widely, hot date indeed. “where are you taking me?” she asked sweetly, placing her hand behind her back as she came to his side. “To a few places that speak well of humankind. I thought a nice dinner would be in order.” She nodded her head, she was famished. He looked ahead at the tree’s and closed his eyes, wrapping a hand around her waist as she let loose a surprised gasp. “Ofur Vas Weily.” A bright flash of light and Luna realized they were no longer in front of the house, but outside a restaurant in an alleyway, the bustling sounds of the city very loud. “Was that another phrase of power?” Garn nodded his head, he slowly wrapped his fingers around her and walked forward, stopping before they left the alley. “I almost forgot.” Another whisper and a flash of light, and Luna gasped as his wardrobe melted away and reformed into a black suit with a bright red tie. He smiled at her and bowed. “Wardrobe spell, Twilight taught it to me.” She smiled incredulously at him and sighed, taking his hand in hers as they entered the city street. Luna marveled at al the humans, as varied as the species of ponies in Equestria. A tall one greeted them at the door, wearing a black tuxedo and a large top hat. “Greetings to La Pomme D'or, I am Jacques, and I will be your host this evening.” Garn nodded his head and smiled at Luna. “Two please.” A short while after being sat down and served salad, Garn thought it would be the right time to really talk to Luna. “Luna, there’s something I need to tell you, something about my mother and I.” Luna set her fork down and locked eyes, she was anxious to find out more. “My mother was an Alicorn, one of the last you probably never met.” Luna nodded her head and sighed. “I know.” Garn almost fell out of his chair. “You knew!?” She nodded her head again and avoided his gaze. “when I was banished it was one of the last words I heard, that word which banished me from the world I would have destroyed. I saw bright white light and a yellow Alicorn, she promised me everything would be alright if I was patient, and then she disappeared.” Luna smiled at Garn and placed a hand on his. “She was your mother wasn’t she?” Garn nodded and held her hand tightly, this just proved they were meant to be together, no one else understood him the way Luna did, and she felt the same way. “Uh Luna?” She smiled and hummed a reply. “I’m… I’m supposedly the last male Alicorn. Thought you’d like to know that.” She raised an eyebrow. “What are you implying Garnet?” He blushed and smiled. “I think you know exactly what I’m implying, I saw you and Twilight studying some other sites on the computer.” He had caught her, but it just made it that sweeter for her. “What about dinner?” He stood and tossed a small wad of bills onto the table, picking her up and carrying her out the restaurant as she laughed joyously. “I’m hungry for something else on the menu.” He walked her out of the restaurant, the entire evening he had planned cancelled in one glorious moment. As he led her to the alleyway so they could safely teleport to the house unseen, she leaned stopped him and gave him a peculiar glance. He crossed his arms and smiled. “What’s that look supposed to mean?” She laughed and blushed, she had planned this move for a week, and now she had him. “you know, after being with a woman for three weeks, and sharing the same bed with her, you’d think a man would have at least kissed her by now.” Garn smiled wickedly and nodded his head.’ “So Twilight has been coaching you?” She smiled and leaned closer to him, their bodies inches apart. “Have you ever been kissed?” He asked, the field around them glowing with a soft red aura. She looked around and realized they were in the bedroom, the moon casting a lasting glow throughout the room. She met his eyes and sighed, he was kind, even his eyes begged to please her, he cared not for his own pleasure, just hers. She slipped her shoes off and tip toed so that her chest met his, and she shuddered at the initial contact. His strong arms reached forward, and his hands gently brushed against her wrists, making their way to her shoulder. She gazed into his eyes, noting how the outer most ring had a soft red tinge to it, through his eyes she saw him, truly the man before her. He looked at her with his heart still fluttering, on the quick teleport spell back a strand of her fine blue hair fell in her face, and he raised a hand to brush the strand back, lingering on her cheek as she moved her head into it, cherishing his touch. “Garnet.” She whispered, her lips grazing his as he leaned down to meet her. “What is it?” He saw the rose red shade come to her cheeks and she placed a soft hand against his face, her heart beating so hard she swore she could hear it. “I want to tell you something. Something that has gone unsaid during our time together.” He pressed a finger to her lips and smiled, that smile that melted her heart the first time he taught her at the lake, the same night she slept next to him, her head buried in his chest. “I love you too.” She held her breath and leapt the distance to meet his face, wrapping her arms around his neck. The first kiss she had ever experienced, and it was magic, pure, uncensored magic. Her lips left only to plant softer, small kisses on his, and she realized she had begun to cry. Every emotion she had held in about him bubbled to the surface, and she knew now that he was the one. He tasted morning dew, a taste he was eager to impress upon his memory. He continued to not push, merely kiss her with a growing passion that was hotter than any star. She smiled wickedly after a second long break and kissed him again, experimentally parting his lips with her tongue, overlapping his own with soft circular motions. He moaned into her, holding her as close as he could without crushing her gorgeous slender frame. As the kissing began to build up the heat between them she broke off, watching with wide eyes as he removed his coat and then his tie. “Let me remove that last shirt.” He nodded his head and lowered his arms, letting her snow white hands unbutton the top clasp, and then moving slowly down to the middle button. As soon as she undid the center one she let her hands explore his chest, running her hands across every sculpted area of his musculature. She planted a kiss on his collarbone and kissed down the exposed V of his shirt, smiling to herself every time he gasped and tensed up. “I thought you had never done this before.” he moaned, lost in the ecstasy of her touch. “I have had a thousand years to fantasize about it. And it’s better than I could have ever imagined.” Well that’s good. Garn thought. He had never experienced someone with such a delicate yet feral touch. She pulled her claws across his chest, and he yelped with a mixture of surprise and lust. “I believe it’s time to move to the bed?” Luna asked with a subtle wink. “Uh…yeah!” She laid on the bed, laying on her side with a seductive wink at Garn, waiting for his next move. The way the moon shone on her dress, the way it hugged her delicate curves, Garn knew if he waited any longer he would burst right there. He crawled into the bed and kissed her again, tossing off his shirt as they kissed with the passion of a thousand fires. He smiled and raised an eyebrow, giving her a look he could only fathom was one of pure lust. She shivered and sat up, pulling back a strap from her dress. “you wanna… you really want to?” he stuttered. She raised her hand to his mouth and a corner of her own curled in a grin. “Yes.” ~Living room~ Pinkie shot up in bed and felt her entire body quiver. “whatever that is, it’s gonna be HUGE!” she blurted out before passing out again with a snore. ~Bedroom~ Luna had removed the straps, leaving her shoulder bare for Garn to kiss and massage, years of inexperience melting away with pure instinct. He pressed his palms with growing strength on her back, and she purred in response. “I… I’ve never received a massage before… At least not like this.” Garn smiled and lowered his head, kissing her neck and tasting her flesh delicately. Her moan grew to a needy growl as she held his head, and he looked to see her biting her lower lip. The action itself was extremely alluring to the man, and he nibbled at the sensitive spot on her collarbone again. “By the night!” she cried out, holding back a full on scream. Her hands dug into her dress as she controlled a sudden urge to touch herself, there would be time for that soon. “Garnet, I want you to take me.” His eyes widened and he had a blank, shocked look on his face. “Beg pardon?” perfect Applejack. Luna gave him the sexiest, sultriest glare she could and she rolled on top of him, pinning his arms down as she poked him. “I want you to fuck me. You are going to lay there and pleasure me until I am completely satisfied, or I’m going to bring down the wrath of the moon on you.” Garn smiled broadly and pushed himself off the bed, kissing her deeply with a ferocious need. “Well I guess I better get started then.” With a yelp he pushed her back on the mattress, planting soft kisses across her neck and shoulders, slowly pulling down her dress with careful precision. He gave her a look of pure lust before taking the edge of the fabric in his mouth, tugging back as a satisfying ripping sound filled the room. Luna laughed with joy and looked to see most of her now torn dress hung from his mouth, his eyebrows wiggling with amusement. “Just couldn’t hold yourself back could you?” She asked, covering her breasts with her hands. He nodded and pulled back farther, ripping the rest of the dress off with one last grunt. ~Hot tub~ Rarity screamed, as if something inside her was tearing apart, and looked around frantically before passing out, her head hanging off the edge of the hot tub. Rainbow Dash merely stared and burst out with laughter. ~Bedroom~ Luna was completely nude now, her quick gasps and moans filling the empty space as he trailed his tongue across her abdomen. She wanted something else touched, and grabbed his face and led him to one of her exposed breasts. “I’m not normally a human, but I get the feeling THESE need attention.” He growled with approval and took one of her taught nipples into his mouth, suckling and then nibbling. “Oh!” She gasped. He took the other breast into his hand and massaged it, her arousal becoming quite apparent. As his hands moved across her body she felt the pressure becoming greater and greater. NO! I’m not ready yet! She thought. She knew her orgasm was impending, but she hadn’t even! She couldn’t hold it in any longer, and a throaty moan escaped her lips as her entire body seized up, and she felt the hot liquids exit her with a final moan of ecstasy. Garnet stopped his teasing and looked at her, his eyebrow raised as a smile spread across his face. “Did you just?” She turned her head away slowly, to tired to even pretend she hadn’t. “I…I think so.” He shook his head with an understanding smile and positioned her on her side, her back against his chest as he wrapped his arms around her. “Garnet? What about you?” He merely inhaled her hair and kissed behind her ear. “We have all the time in the world.” So he hoped. ~ Garn suddenly knew he was dreaming, he was in a wide spacious room, adorned with red banners and roses scattered across the room. He somehow felt a pressure that almost verged on unbearable, and he suddenly knew why. “Celestia?” He asked with a whisper. A throaty growl returned his call, and he turned around to see the towering Alicorn above him, her nostrils flared and a wicked smile on her face. “Hello Garnet, I expect my sister is asleep?” The way she said it, the tone of infatuation caught him off guard. “Princess?” She leaped forward and pinned him to the floor, her hooves anchoring him down. “Celestia, call me Celestia.” “Celestia! What are you doing?” he yelled, struggling against her hold. She smiled wider and brought her face so close to his he could smell her sweet breath. “Finishing what my sister could not.” He fought harder, and she let out a laugh that could only be described as supremely creepy. “Although you couldn’t possibly please me in that form.” He saw a flash of light and Celestia stepped back, her eyes drinking in his new form. Garn looked down and saw his hands had become hooves, his body felt heavier, and he looked at her in shock. “Have a look Prince Garnet.” she whispered while licking her lips, materializing a mirror before him. Indeed he had become an Alicorn, White with a golden mane, his red jewel like eyes staring back from the reflection. He stepped back in shock and fell over onto the bed of pillows beneath him, and found himself pinned down by Celestia once again. “Oh! I see you are still in need from my sisters lack of control.” she cooed, running a tongue along his neck. “Celestia! Stop!” He yelled. She could not hear him, and he shuddered underneath her experienced touch. She got closer to his stomach, planting soft kisses as he focused all his power, his love for Luna, his confusion, his doubt… “FRIJE!” The entire room was now dark, and Celestia stood up with a look of fury and fear. “HOW DARE YOU ASSAIL MY MATE!” Garn looked around and saw he had become human again, but that voice was frightening him, and yet… “Show yourself Luna! You couldn’t please this man so why cant I?” Celestia flew across the room and slammed into a wall, and gathered herself as she was tossed around like a rag doll. “Leave my domain sister, or Chaos will be the very least of your worries.” Celestias’ eyes softened and she lowered her head, a look of shame running across her face. “Garnet… I am truly sorry.” with that she disappeared, leaving Garn in the darkness. “Are you alright?” He felt a breath on his neck and he swung around, stopping short as Luna leaned forward and kissed him. She didn’t look the same at all. She was taller, and her hair was no longer blue, but black and waved with an ethereal energy as she ran a hand across his chest. “Did she hurt you my love?” Hurt was not the word. “I’m fine… but you.” She smiled sweetly and shook her head. “I wont always be human you know.” a streak of doubt appeared at the corner of her eyes, and Garn felt the room breaking apart, and sleep overtaking him. “Luna wait!” She turned away and he fell into blackness.
Ch 1, A Powerful MageA matter of Chaos. “I’ll go get you all some clothes, then we can discuss what goes on next.”
Ch 2, Meeting ChaosChapter two, Meeting Chaos Garn hurried to the other room and grabbed a plastic bin of clothing, and retreated back to the living room where the elements of harmony and the princesses were huddled near a fire covered in blankets. “Yes Pinkie, for cupcakes.” End part 2
CH 3, Training the HornCh 3, Training the Horn Shortly after the battle, the elements and the princesses found themselves exhausted from the sudden shift and the days events, as per request of Garn, the princesses got his bedroom, Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash shared the guest bedroom, Rarity got the smaller bedroom downstairs, and Twilight sparkle slept in the study.
“Even if it costs me my life.” End part 4
Ch 5, A Dance with MoonlightCh 5, A Dance with Moonlight Garn remained on the balcony, staring at the stars feeling the weight of his consciousness weighing him down. “Yes.”
Ch 6, Training the WingCh 6, Training the Wing Garn stared at the ceiling, aware that he had just admitted to feeling he had never fostered before, what’s worse was that Celestia knew his history, yet he had not told the others, least of all Luna, who remained cuddled next to him.
Not yet my child…
Ch 9, RebirthCh 9, Rebirth Well this is it. What?

If you like this story without the necessary love scenes, wait for chapter 8! If you do not like OC’s and main cast pairings I apologize.
