The Civil War as it was called. But it just seems that most ponies have forgotten what the fighting was about at this point. It's been decades though. Most foals have been born into the war. Thinking it was normal for all this violence. Normal for recess to be inside because riots raged in the streets for the war to end peacefully or to end with the Princess's head on a steak. There seems to be no more neutral, everypony has pick a side because if not, it looks at a act a betrayal. Neither side thought there would be this many loses. Or it would last this long. This war has seen some of the most bloodiest battles ever in Equestrian history.
