There is never really anything going on in the world, so excitement is hard to get nowadays, since my father passed away just about a week and a half ago. Ever since my mother abandoned us a couple of years ago, I decided to keep looking after him every hour of everyday, giving him what he needs; food, drinks, I even went out to the shop for him. My mother left when I was only thirteen-years-old, after that, I had decided to get a job at that age to pay our rent and other taxes. My life hasn’t been good in the past nine years, but it was bearable at least. Now I am on my own in my father’s home, with nothing to do. I went down the main stairwell after I got my average cheap clothing on and took a shower, brushed my teeth, done all that. Anyway, I went down the stairs to sit down in my only recliner in the house, switching on the television to watch the international news channel: Sky News. There was nothing interesting on the news. However, I just found out that there was a great tsunami in Japan after an apparent earthquake hit the coast. It was pretty shocking; It was sad, but I had more important things to do. I was just about to switch off the television when I began to notice a strange light cascading from the front windows into the main living area; it intrigued me. I work at a local office in the centre of town, I get paid minimum wage, but it is my job and I appreciate that they took me in after one of their previous staff got fired for stealing money. I was originally planning to switch off the television and then going to grab my pre-prepared briefcase for work, but after I noticed this odd light, I just had to check it out. I forgot about being on schedule to get to work, but being distracted is a pain in the ass. I left the front entrance; locking the door behind me. I began to wonder around the whole block to check on the source of the light, it may have been either a car, or just myself being crazy. I kept going around the block from what I remember was about three times; until I noticed a light emerging from the main alley in the street block. I stood there, staring at the light for approximately five seconds as I hesitated to move. Suddenly, the light went at a very fast speed towards my home. Oh God, what is it going to do? My house could blow up! I began to thought as I run after the paranormal light. I was running as fast as I ever could. As the light entered the front window of my now empty house, I was about twenty metres away. When I finally reached the front entrance; I immediately began to open it, dropping my keys several times in the process. Alas, as I open the door (almost breaking it in) I began to run into the main living area. As nothing was there, I was baffled at the site of my front room just the same without the lights on. After about five minutes of just standing in my main living area looking confused; I heard a noise (almost like a rustle) coming from my small dining area. What the hell was that... I thought to myself as I grabbed something from the my pocket, it was my dad’s old gun i kept with me. As I stayed close to the walls; gun in my grasp. As I began to hear was I presume were footsteps on the floorboard of the dining area, I began to panic. As I was about to literally shoot the gun at the source of footsteps, a figure emerged from the other entrance of the dining area. I was shocked at the magnificent sight. I blinked a few times confused at what I thought I saw. I placed the gun on a coffee table and turned around rubbing my forehead. “ This cannot be really happening Princess Celestia is made up… it make no flip’n sense , when I turn around I am not going to see a talking Alicorn in my hallway … one … two… three… ” opening my eyes I am face to muzzled with a white multicolored Alicorn aka Princess Celestia… I felt like fainting right there and then backing away slowly I reached for the gun, but it was lifted by itself …for some reason i felt like obwian was saying ‘Use the Force Luke’ …snapping out of my self induced meme. I watch the gun be taken apart by a golden force field holding it in the air. Now more scared than ever realizing I was going to brony hell for this. I prayed this was a dream I thought to myself “There is no need to be scared Damian i am not here to harm you” Celestia said in a calm gentle tone “And there is no such place as brony hell” She added i gave a nervous laugh as a way of saying i did not think there was even a place called that after the awkward laugh she kept smiling it calmed me down knowing that Celestia was not pissed or they're here to hurt me but what is she here for “Well if you are not here to hurt me then what are you here for Princess” I asked now calmer she took a deep breath i did not like where this was going i was back to pants shitting mode again i swear i think she is pulling a trollestia on me right now.....OH GOD DON’T LET HER GO MOLESTIA! “Damian i want to make a deal with you i know you never got to have a real childhood i have spoken to my faithful student and she agreed to adopt you so to speak you are welcome to come back to this world anytime you choose” Celestia said looking me right in the eyes i really wanted to do what Twilight did on the cutie mark chronicles episode but i did not want to seem stupid “Wait you're offering to take me to Equestria with you as a pony am i getting this right?” I asked in shock. “Yes i am you are wel-” she did not even get to finish before i interrupted her. “Yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes please take me now!” I shouted bouncing like moron.....don’t judge me i know half of you would have done the same thing i mean come on. Celestia just laughed “Well then lets go.” She said after that there was a light it engulfed both of us then everything became peaceful,and had a serene calmness. When I awoke there was something off about me everything felt bigger and i felt smaller I looked down to see i had hooves not hands. My name is Twilight Sparkle.” “I know that you are Twilight Sparkle and that is Fluttershy,Rarity,AppleJack,Rainbow Dash, and Pinkie Pie” I said with a smug grin “Wow. But still in a manner it is nice to be able to be carried and well I am enjoying being young again I am starting to like this already! I hope this headache stops soon. A second later, Twilight walked inside the room “Hey Nova, are you awake?” “Huh yeah, I'm awake. Everything is just a little fuzzy, that’s all.” I said with a cough. Crap, that felt like a knife scraping on my rib cage. I shuddered when I thought of a story that scares me a little. “Hey Twilight, who bandaged my head?” Wait, what if Doctor Whooves is a real doctor? OH and what if Colgate is a dentist.......that last one would suck. “Oh, that was Fluttershy. Don’t worry, she said you just need some rest, that is about it. Oh, and Jero had some help, he told me everything.” Twilight stated with a warm smile. It felt like she was hugging me with a smile. I know it sounds cheesy but it is true. I mean, in my current state, with a head injury; it was from shock, well that and collision, with a table and let me say, it hurt like hell. I then tried getting up, only to be pushed back down. Best part was that she was happy and that’s all I cared about. After a second Pinkie pulled me up into one of the biggest hugs imaginable, I could not help but to laugh and hug her back. She is such a sweet and kind mare... I wonder if I could somehow get into Celestia’s school...Meh I will ask or find out later as soon as I can use magic without wanting to pass out when i’m done ________________________________________________________________________________ After an eventful hour, or maybe five since I think I lost track after a while, I had somehow gotten the cupcake batter on my mane! And let me tell you, once it’s in there it is damnwell hard to get it out. I kept trying to pass my hoof through my mane trying to get some of it out only to hear Pinkie shout “Hey Nova, I got you a bath ready!” I just jumped when she suddenly popped up behind me and picked me up, carrying me to the bathroom. Once she opened the door, she launched me out of her hooves and into the tub... It was a long tossing distance, and even harder to do when you’re throwing something that’s about your same weight and did not stop squirming. “Uhh thanks Pinkie, but I think I can take care of it from here.” I said to Pinkie. She gave me a nod and walked out of the bathroom.after a little bit of relaxing while the batter melted off I felt as if something was gnawing at my leg, when I lifted it up there he was, none other than Gummy. I dropped him out of the tub so I could finish up. Is it just me or does the shampoo smell like cotton candy? That might belong to Pinkie... I had finally finished up in the bath. Turning the valves and jumping out, I noticed Pinkie placed a towel at my reach so I wouldn't have to walk too far... only for it to fall over my body and making me look like an orange ghost. When I took that towel off, it got it snagged on my horn. I kept trying to pull it off, but much to my dismay I could not get it off. There was only one thing left that I could do. “Help! For the love of Celestia, get this demonic piece of cloth off of my head!” I shouted only to be pulled up by the towel. My eyes widened from the pain. I give up they can do what they want, when we finally arrived at the room which would help me meet my demise, Fluttershy sat me down on said examination table “Here I will hold him down” Twilight said as her magic held me down. Thinking about what it would have been like if I choose not to come here and stayed at home would anything else happen? Would I move up the ladder? Would I still be in a cubicle? The whole walk here we shared stories. I told him about some of the things that happened while I had been here and Shining Armor told me some very embarrassing things about Twilight. I walked into Fluttershy’s house, seeing Jero putting a basket on the table, I cleared my throat to get his attention “Hello Nova” Jero looked at a clock “Wow, you got here faster than I expected” I let out a laugh at this. He thinks I would be late, well I would have been if not for Shining Armor “Dang Jero that is hurtful. You think the worst of me don’t you?” I puffed out my lower lip trying to give a pair of puppy dog eyes, I love screwing with Jero. His eyes widened in panic. “N-no no I don’t think the worst of you” I am one evil little colt “Trust me, I just thought, you know, with the long path from the school it would take you a bit longer than normal.” At this point I was on the floor laughing. I love messing with people or ponies. “Dang Jero, I was just kidding” I said in between laughs. Once again I am a evil little colt, still making ponies all panicky is mean, even for me. Especially when I mess with Fluttershy or Jero. That is wrong, but funny on so many levels. Its kinda sad I know, messing with your friends is mean and cruel but when you get a chance you HAVE to take it. Jero was not amused by my antics but come on, if you were in my position being stuck in a crappy kindergarten class, I think you would have done the same thing. I need a way to entertain myself when I am not stuck in class or stuck with the crusaders but I must say they are all nice, annoying at times, but otherwise they are very well behaved and not annoying at all. I mean they are kids so of course they would be hyperactive at that age, but look at me I am not that hyper am I? No, I am not. I just enjoy screwing with my friends, but who doesn’t? Still though I gotta say Jero looks pissed. “What is wrong with you!?” Oh crap, Jero is mad. You don’t want to make him angry, you would not like him when he is angry. I mean it, when he is mad you better run for the hills and not look back. Wait, what is he raising his hoof for? “Why would you do something like that?” Oh good he is calm. I thought he was going to strike me, I was a little scared, at that point I did flinch. I think that is what made him soften up a little. Still though, I am wondering what the point of the basket is for. “Hey Jero what is the basket for?” I asked looking up at him, man that feels weird looking up at your friends. I don’t understand why I was turned into a five year old, but either way it is good most of the time. “Well I thought we could just catch up a little with a lunch” Jero just smiled at me, grabbing the basket and trotting to the door. I don’t know why but I thought of a joke. “That and Twilight’s brother is over. So she asked me to keep an eye on you.” How could I have guessed? Well I guess the best person to foalsit me is somepony who knows me so well. “Oh Jero I thought of something funny wanna hear?” I asked, Jero nodded “So now a pole is dating a tree” I burst out laughing at my own joke but come on that was funny. I love teasing him about that but still, I need to give him a break every once and a while but not too much. ________________________________________________________________________________ The whole walk to the place that Jero wanted me to follow him to I could not stop thinking about both Ruby Pinch and Dinky. They are really nice fillies and well, I don’t know, they both have good qualities along with being really nice. I met both Berry Punch and Ditzy Doo, they were really nice to me. I was zoned out into my own little world, not paying attention to anything. Not even the blush growing on my face from thinking about them. “You OK, Nova? You’ve been quiet the whole time we were walking. Also, why is your face all red?” Jero asked breaking the silence “Huh? Oh yeah, I’m fine. Just thinking that’s all” Crap! Why do I keep thinking... Who cares!? I mean come on, if not for thinking you would not be hearing things. All these ponies can’t hear me say like this: Jero I threw that dead mouse at your car that one time......see he can’t hear me “That was you!?” “What was me?” I think he can hear me, well this sucks something fierce. “Nova, I can’t hear your thoughts, you’re thinking out loud again.” “Well yes, I did throw that dead mouse at your car.” This sucks, he can hear me. Well everypony just a heads up, you piss him off he goes Flutterrage on you so just a heads up. Jero sighs “Well, why were you blushing anyway? Wait a sec.....that face you were making....” I started panicking at this point. If he guesses it, I am screwed “What face? I was not making a face, what is with your face?!” Yeah that worked. “That’s the same face I would make when I first started think about Flutter-....” Jero gasps and grins a little “Nova....do you have a crush on somepony?” “No I do not! Why would you think that?” OH COME ON! heh that made me think of Sweetie Belle. “I can tell when you are lying sometimes and that is SO a lie! You have a crush on a filly! I never looked at those pics nor did I make them.” “I have ways and you know it. Am I right?” “Out of both Dinky and Ruby.” WAIT HOW DID HE GET ME TO DO THAT!? “How did you, oh screw it.” Jero chuckled “Well, with me being in a relationship I’m more in touch with getting the hang of helping others with similar problems as well.” “Yeah with me dating more I will not say the word I want to, in fear of you being larger than me.” Seriously he is huge compared to me. “So are we there yet? or is it another hour walk?” but if you were me you would not be able to walk as much. I know one thing though, I hate trying to use magic. A lot of the times my head starts to hurt, I don’t know why but it does. “Don’t worry, we are here” Jero said as we both stopped. I sat on the ground, catching my breath. Jero had started to set everything up while I went into a deep thought. I was not paying attention to anything around me not even the fact that Jero was poking me to get my attention. “Yeah, sorry just went into deep thought again.” I said with a cheesy grin, trying to cover for my screw up of zoning out. I can’t help it, sometimes I go into a deep thought thinking about well, anything. I mean its like, think about when you are in a math class. You zone out, wanting to be anywhere but there. I jumped on the blanket as Jero put the basket containing the food down, and trust me, food sounds good right about now. ________________________________________________________________________________ After a good lunch, and catching up with Jero, we had arrived back at Fluttershy’s. Something about Twilight needing to talk to her brother alone. If she told me I would have understood easily but whatever. Jero and myself had caught up so I am happy. Turns out a lot has happened since we last saw each other, well I guess that is true Jero got to come to Equestria before me, along with turning into a pony a while after, so it works out; in a way. I mean, I have made more friends than imaginable, but something was making my mane itch and I mean itch like crazy. So I did the only thing I could think of. I started scratching it. Oh man, with my bad luck and if they have lice in Equestria then most likely I have lice. Lets hope that is not the case. “Nova, what are you doing?” Jero asked me. I stopped scratching my mane for a second and looked right up at him. I bit my tongue, trying not to go crazy “Scratching my mane, thats what.” but man that itches, and almost burns at the same time. I tried to stop scratching again but alas, I could not stop. “Are you sure you are alright?” Jero asked, I stopped scratching and nodded. I jumped on the couch smiling. “So, what is up with Twilight needing to speak with her brother?” I asked, I can never get over at how high pitched my voice sounds. It is funny as I will get out, but I don’t care for it when Jero gives me crap about it. I think it is very annoying, but nothing I can’t deal with. I had to deal with worse when I really was a kid. “I don’t know, but she said bring you home at around four or five.” Jero said with a smile. He is almost as cheery as Pinkie Pie. Who am I kidding? Nopony can be that cheery, Pinkie Pie is so happy, it scares me. “Okay, now second, do they have tv’s here?” I am wanting to know more about my new home so pardon me if I ask a few things so I know I won’t get bored out of my skull, that and living with Twilight does not help. She throws random questions about crap, she has me study and sometimes at the worst of times, like one time I was making a peanut butter sandwich, and she comes right behind me and ask me a random question. Its lucky that knife did not cut me. “No they don’t” Jero said. Well this sucks, they have all this advanced crap, like heart rate monitors, and all that other crap, yet no tv. Well this sucks. I can’t wait to get back to the library and, I dunno, do anything but study. Heck maybe talk to Shining Armor and ask if he has any tips and tricks on how to deal with Twilight. Still, the one thing I can’t help but wonder is: What else happened on the royal wedding episode? I heard there was another alicorn, but I think that is just something by the fans. Hoping to see a new princess. But I doubt that would happen ever. Here is a deal, if that is true and there is a third alicorn, I will curse right in front of everypony. So if, and when, I see a new ‘princess’. I will do it, I don’t care what happens after I do it. I will, so try me. But the one thing I hate about being this young again is I get distracted REALLY easily. That is not too fun, it sucks, even more so when I zone out in class and Cheerilee calls me out to answer the question. I will say this, the whole bits system, I have yet to understand. I am sure it will come to me sooner or later maybe I can try and get some extra bits from Twilight when I ask her to explain it to me. “Well that sucks, oh well I can find a way to entertain myself, I always do.” I laughed, thinking about some of my more fond memories. Some of them are not the best, but some of them are pretty good. “Also what time is it?” I looked at a clock, seeing it was four thirty. Man ten minutes ago I would have had a four twenty joke. “It is four thirty” I saw Jero’s eyes wide. They looked like they were ready to pop out of his head. “Oh no, we have to go and now!” Jero than grabbed me, running out the door. I know we are headed back to Twilight’s house on run. But I don’t understand why Jero just doesn't fly, I will never know but when he realizes he is late for something, he takes off running. I could see the library in plain sight, it was a good ten second run from here. “Jero, slow down or I am going to vomit.” I think it worked because he stopped running. “Thank you.” I jumped off his back, stretching my limbs, I heard a couple of pops. I then started trotting to the library with Jero close behind me, it is creepy but who cares. I got to the library, seeing my worst enemy, the door. I could not reach that knob if you payed me. I started channeling my magic as I saw a pale purple aura going around the door knob, twisting it. After a little while, I had opened the door. I beamed as I trotted inside, when I got in there I saw a light pink alicorn laughing with Twilight and Shining Armor “What.The. Hell.” ________________________________________________________________________________ I walked down stairs, after learning what soap taste like, and I will say this: It does not taste very good. I guess that nopony takes well to a five year old swearing. I still had some bubbles on my cheek from the soap, I did not notice it until I overheard a light pink alicorn giggling looking at me. I do not find it funny, I find it annoying “Here, let me fix that” I never caught her name but she took a tissue and wiped my face off, even though I could do it on my own. It was not funny that I had my mouth washed out for saying a certain sentence, that I refuse to say again for fear of having my mouth washed out a second time. “Thanks” I grumbled, a little annoyed at the fact I had my mouth washed out for one simple word. I am just going to have to watch what I do and say in fear of what else they might do to me. Well I guess now is as good as time as any to introduce myself, “Hello my name is Nova, nice to meet you” I held my hoof out. The alicorn took my hoof, giggling as she shook it “My what a gentlecolt we have here” great, apparently nopony told her about the deal Celestia made with me “My name is Cadance, it is a pleasure to meet you Nova.” “The feeling is mutual.” I said in a calm tone as Cadance released my hoof. Yet again, I started drifting off, I could not get Dinky or Ruby off my mind. They seem to stay there, taunting me. I can not date them though, it is just strange, I mean I am technically a grown man but I am in a childs body here so I guess I am a child. I for some reason have the attention span of one and a lot of other things. Cadance let out a giggle as she looked over to Shining Armor “I think somepony in this room is in love” is it really that obvious. “How do you know that?” I asked looking at Cadance “Because I am the princess of love” Cadance said and my jaw dropped. I have a question I want to ask her but I can’t think of it for the life of me, sometimes I hate having the mind of a child. I am sure it will come to me “And I also rule the Crystal Kingdom” Wait the what kingdom? This is a joke “Are you kidding? There is another kingdom?” I am shocked, I thought that the whole third alicorn thing was a fan rumor, along with the whole new kingdom thing but I guess it is not a rumor. Well I have not passed out yet so it is good “So, Princess Cadance, did Princess Celestia explain the deal she made with me to you?” Cadance cocked an eyebrow at me “No, I don’t think Aunt Celestia told me about a deal” I groaned at this point, I figured that she would let her niece know. “I did see Twilight leaving with this little tyke.” Shining Armor said as he ruffled my mane, I swear these ponies are killing me on the inside by doing stuff like that. I am not some little kid, well on the outside I am, but I am really an adult. I heard Jero stifle a laugh, I glared at him “I am not a foal Cadance. I am an adult.” I saw both Shining Armor and Cadance laugh at me, for the love of Celestia! “You're a big pony aren't you?” Seriously? Now a princess is speaking to me as if I truly was a child. I am going to die on the inside everyday until they stop doing that. “Well I have to go and meet Fluttershy now” Jero said, as he walked out the door I suddenly got an idea. “So Cadance and Shining Armor, you don’t believe me when I say I am an adult?” I asked they nodded. “Nova what are you getting at?” Twilight asked, I grinned. “Well so you will believe me let me tell you a story” I grinned. ________________________________________________________________________________ After a few hours of talking, getting to know Cadance and Shining Armor, they had taken their leave so Twilight opened a book, Spike went to spend the night with Rarity and I went to take a bath, the whole time I could not believe that Cadance had invited both Twilight and myself to stay with her and Shining Armor at the Crystal Empire. I had finished my bath, after drying off and throwing my towel in the hamper, I went into the living room, which in was really just the main room of the library but it acts as a living room. I saw Twilight reading a book but I could not make it out, so I went in front of to see what book she was reading. It took me a second but I saw the name of the book that Twilight was reading it was ‘Parenting Foals For Dummies’ I decided to shake it off and grab a book of my own, I grabbed Daring Doo Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull I guess she is the female Equestria version of Indiana Jones. I opened the book and started reading, getting caught up in my own little world “Hmm this is interesting” I flipped the page and kept reading. When I get caught up in a book nothing can break my concentration, I kept my eyes on the book until I let out a small yawn. I shook my head to stay awake, I must know what happens at the end of this book. I kept reading until I let out another yawn “I must know what happens.” I said aloud only to find myself being lifted into the air. When I looked back I saw Twilight smiling at me “What are you doing?” “You are sleepy and this book I am reading says when a foal is sleepy he, or she, should be put to bed immediately.” Twilight explained. As she tucked me in I let out another yawn. “I am not tired” I protested as Twilight gave me a kiss on the head “The heck?” “Well either way you need to be in bed, it is a school night after all” Twilight smiled before looking at her book again, I don’t like where this is going. “Good night Nova, mommy loves you.” Now I am confused as to what is going on “Did that really just happen and did Twilight really just say that?” I think to myself before drifting off to sleep. But before anything I did not mean to say this but it slipped out “I love you too mommy.” I am never going to hear the end of that. ________________________________________________________________________________ I woke up the next morning with a massive yawn. I did not feel like opening my eyes in fear of the dreaded sunlight on my eyes. I felt like I was hugging something and when I opened my eyes I saw Twilight’s old smarty pants doll. I don’t know how it even got in here unless it comes alive at night and for some reason it came in here...that is just crazy talk, even for me. Why am I still hugging this thing? I tossed the offending stuffed animal thing, I am not sure what it would be called but still, now it is on the floor. I started trotting down stairs, I could hear Twilight talking to somepony, but I could not tell. I stood at the same spot I did last time. I could make out Rarity’s voice, why is it shocking that her voice is so easy to make out? She is a drama queen, still, what is Twilight telling her? I went down one more step so I could hear what they were saying. Twilight let out a silent yet audible squeal of joy “And after I told him I love you, after he fell asleep he said ‘I love you too mommy’!” I heard Rarity let out a squeal “But an hour or two later I went to check on him and he was just shifting around, like he was not comfortable, so I dug up my old Smarty Pants doll and gave it to him, after that he seemed to calm down but I went to check on him a while later and he was hugging it. I just had to take a picture and I did.” Twilight did what now. I heard Rarity take in a small inhale “Oh darling, I think it is quite marvelous that he thinks of you as his mother already” seriously I do not remember saying that, and she took a picture of me, that is just mean. How would she like it if I did the same to her? I decided now would be a good time to go and get breakfast. I walked into the kitchen, rubbing my eyes. I was not paying half a mind, but I was picked up in the air again, when I looked I saw Twilight, she pulled me into a hug, grinning ear to ear. Twilight put me down still smiling “Good morning Nova, I hope you slept well.” I simply nodded but Twilight’s grin did not fade and I could tell it would not anytime soon. “Also there is no school today.” I smiled back “That’s good” I let out one more yawn, I am still in the process of waking up “So am I free to do what I want today?” Twilight nodded “Good. Is it alright if I go out and get to see Ponyville on my own?” I want to get to see the whole town on my own with no adults. Twilight let out a small giggle “Yes you may but I want you to go and make your bed.” Twilight poked my nose “And I will make you some breakfast” I huffed and went back upstairs to make my bed. I had finished fixing my bed up, like Twilight had asked me, when I looked at the floor. Seeing the smarty pants doll I was hugging when I woke up. “Hmm should I leave it or put it up on my bed” I shrugged, I mean Twilight did give it to me when I was sleeping so I guess it won’t hurt to put it on my bed. Walking back downstairs I could hear Twilight saying something else so I decided to walk into the kitchen to get my food. When I did get in the kitchen, I saw Twilight and only Twilight. I am guessing Rarity had to leave for something; I don’t know what but and I don’t care. But still Twilight is a bit giddy today “Twilight you are kinda creeping me out.” I am not joking she is just smiling at me like that. Twilight patted me on the head “Sorry Nova, just that picture I got of you snuggling up to my old Smarty Pants doll was cute.” I hope she only made one copy of that “I also made waffles for breakfast.” At the sound of food I jumped into my chair while Twilight levitated my plate in front of me. But today, I had to go back to school. I trotted to the school building, it is a good size, when I got inside I was greeted by Dinky and Ruby along with Rumble, my fellow crusaders. I took my seat, looking at the board I saw “Today’s lesson is on the color green.” written in big letters. I really hate being back in kinder garden some days Dinky was the first to speak up “Hey Nova do you want to come crusading with us today?” “Yeah, we came up with some awesome stuff!” Rumble said “I thought we could try and help my mom out in her shop” Ruby said with a smile, I nodded, they are all good ideas but I could not think of anything. I thought for a second. I did not want to be rude, yet I want to hang out with them “I don’t know. I kinda wanted to do something after school today on my own.” I heard them all groan in disappointment “Sorry but I just wanted to be alone after school today when we are all busy, Twilight is having somepony foalsit me once again, sorry.” They all understood. We kept chatting until Cheerilee entered the room “Good morning my little ponies” I did not think she would say that. I let out a small yawn; I am still a little tired. I did not sleep well, thing is I lost the smarty pants doll and I don’t know why it affected my sleep but it did. I am so sleepy “Today's lesson we will be starting out with learning about the color green and after that we will be doing math.” I heard all of the foals in the classroom groan at the sound of math, I was one of them. I am still sleepy though, I wish I would have taken the class at twelve to four; it is all the same thing just different times. I could feel my eyes closing, I kept trying to fight it but it was hard. Eventually I gave in and fell asleep. ____________________________________________________ I was still sleeping in Cheerilee's class, I said it already I was tired, my left ear twitched but what woke me up was not Twilight shaking me gently. Instead it was a book slamming on my desk, I shot awake "ORANGE!" was the first thing to come out of my mouth. Everypony in class started laughing at me and I felt a blush growing on my face as a result. Cheerilee gave me an unamused look. I just looked down. Cheerilee finally spoke "Nova is my class so boring that it made you fall asleep?" I just shook my head, I knew I was in trouble "Well I want you to wait after class, am I understood young colt." I nodded as I waited for everypony to leave the classroom and they did, fast. The only ones I saw still waiting outside were Lime Wire and his little friends. I saw Cheerilee sigh "Nova listen, I don't want to be your enemy. I want to be your friend." I do not like were this is going "So Nova I want you to get Twilight to sign this." Cheerilee than placed a piece of paper in my saddle bags before placing my saddle bags on me. I sighed as I made my way out the door. While walking to Twilight's, I saw Lime Wire following me. Twilight had packed me a lunch so I decided to go to the park and eat it. Upon arrival I found a nice shaded tree and I sat under it, opening my saddle bags I saw a sandwich, a juice box and some other things. But before I could grab anything I saw the one known as Lime Wire approaching me. "Hey nerd!" Lime Wire shouted, I just groaned hoping he would leave me alone. "Hey I am talking to you!" I just looked at him "What do you want?" I asked, not looking forward to what this colt wanted. I am betting in his twisted mind he thinks I did something to him. Lime Wire grinned "Because of you, my mom took away my favorite toy." REALLY!? He is blaming me for this, sweet Celestia help me please. I just rolled my eyes "I did not do anything. You did that to yourself." I really want to smack him "Can you leave me alone so I can eat now? And that means in peace." "Oh this lunch" Lime Wire said as he stomped the lunch Twilight had packed me "No you cannot" Great now I have to deal with him all day. I stood up "Listen if you have a problem with me then let’s talk about it." I felt a hoof hit my side so I guess talking it out won't work. I turned and saw another Pegasus, this one was yellow. I walked over to them and hit the other Pegasus before hitting Lime in the muzzle. I guess that was some kind of bait, because before I could turn. I was being held back. "Hey let me go!" I shouted, before anything else happened Lime Wire bucked me in the face, and it hurt. When the pony that was holding me had let go, I fell to the ground, and laid there, just waiting for them to leave. After about ten minutes they had left. I grabbed my saddle bags and took off running back towards Twilight's home. When I arrived I dropped my saddle bags on the floor and started walking to the stairs, only to be lifted into the air. Twilight then sat me on her stomach. Twilight nuzzled my cheek "Hey Nova, I heard what happened." Twilight took a tissue and wiped my nose, I don't know why, but she did. I just buried my face into her chest. "Listen Nova, me and the girls are going to Canterlot today and we will be gone all week" I nodded, understanding, before falling asleep right there.I am turning into such a wuss Author's Note So yeah this was a chapter I wrote a few minuets after chapter 3 or 4 I was going to publish it but I decided not to BUT I thought about putting it as some cut content but I though naw show what happens while Nova is in school so here it is after this chapter the next chapter will be MUCH MUCH bigger so I hope you like it Sparknanator~ //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 10:The Storm //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 10:The Storm Friends,Family,Ponies By Sparknanator _______________________________________________________________________________________ I woke up in the morning but for once it was not in my bed instead I was in the guest bedroom at Fluttershy’s cottage I streached my arms yawning I looked around I know it seems strange but I had to hug my Smarty Pants doll it has become a morning ritual of mine I know it seems like something a little kid would do but hey I am five now so who cares I sure don’t I heard a small knock on the door I forgot to mention that Fluttershy and the rest of them along with Sweetie Belle are in Canterlot right now so yeah it is just me and Jero right now I guess Twilight decided since we know each other already he is my new foalsitter so who cares I would never say it out loud though but I would gladly call Twilight mom if it was not for getting teased I also got punished yesterday reason being is yesterday was my parent teacher conference and well where Twilight was not around Jero went in her place so when he found out I had gotten into a book fight that turned into me beating up Lime Wire he punished me by making me clean out the chicken coop I yawned again “Come in” I shouted as Jero came in thank Celestia it is a weekend but I really miss Twilight or as I like to call her when I pretend to be alseep mommy I hope nopony figures out that I am faking like I am asleep I really don’t want anypony to know Jero came into the guest room as I put down my Smarty Pants doll smiling “Good morning Jero” Jero ruffled my mane “Morning Nova” I hate it when he does that it kills my pride I sniffed seeing as my nose gets clogged up when I sleep but this time it was not instead I smelled something good “What is that smell?” I asked “Well I thought you would like some waffles for breakfast” Jero said as I took off for the door not to go to the kitchen to eat but to take care of some personal matters “Don’t forget to wash up!” I came out of the bathroom and yes I washed my hooves so don’t ask when I was going down the stairs I fell being the smart pony I am I shook it off even though it hurt I went into the kitchen jumping in a chair I saw Angel sitting in one I don’t want to know so I won’t ask still though those butter covered waffles looked and smelled good so I just dug right in not caring how hot the butter was I was hungry and that is all I cared about I had finished my food in a pretty good time looking at the calender I saw it was Monday HOW LONG DID I SLEEP!? “Oh goodie it is Monday and I have to go to school” I hate school if you can not tell Jero let out a small laugh “Yup now come on out the door with you” crap he is going to make me go…oh well I guess that is the price of getting a second childhood I put my saddle bags on heading for the door “I hate this some days and I swear if Lime Wire starts with me today I will hurt him” I walked out the front door my mind drifitng the whole time “I wonder what todays lesson will be on I hope not another color” I arrived at the school seeing Cheerilee waiting at the door she had a smirk looking at me “Good morning Nova I think you will do well in todays lesson” Cheerilee said looking right at me I nodded and walked to me seat Cheerilee walked into the class room with a smile on her face either she is in a good mood or she got some last night “Good morning” No smug remarks good I saw her write on the bord ‘Todays lesson is on the color orange’ son of a “I think Nova will know all about this color” I knew it I freaking knew it The whole class started laughing at me I felt my face go flush “Yeah seeing as he shouted it last week” Who ever said that I am going to hurt them well if it was a colt than yeah I am going to hurt him you know what not worth the time “Why don’t you say that to my face to I can hit you” I think I said that too loud because Cheerilee is glaring at me Today what a freaking day is all I can say Cheerilee made me stay behind and write stuff on the board it sucked either way I need to get back to Fluttershy’s house so I can do this homework and have it done in a decent time and hopefully enjoy the rest of the day wow making this walk does not take too much time when you have to make it everyday I am glad I know there is a thunderstorm today I walked in the front door to see nopony around “Yo Jero I am home” I shouted hearing him shout something back Jero came into the living room “Get to doing your homework” Oh really I thought I would just sit down and turn on the TV oh wait I forgot they do not have TV’s here I sat down at the table pulling the crap Cheerilee calls homework out and started working on it I can not believe how easy this crap is well seeing as it is for a kindergarden class I am not shocked still I keep feeling like I am being watched at night and it scares me I dunno why though I still finished that homework so that is a good start “Hey Jero I finished the crap called homework” I shouted getting up and walking into the kitchen “What’s for dinner?” Pardon me for being hungry but in other news I still hate the night time I don’t know why but that Smarty Pants doll makes me feel safe don’t you judge me or else I will find you ____________________________________________________________________________________ The night time had arrived after a nice dinner getting myself cleaned up aia came downstairs hearing a loud crack of thunder I froze up “It can’t hurt me but it can scare the crap out of me” I REALLY hate thunder almost as much as I hate needles that is the only bad part about this whole second childhood thing a lot of my old childhood fears have come back like thunder,needles,thunder,the dark,thunder,being alone,thunder,being in big crowds oh and did I mention thunder? I don’t know if I did still it is almost nine at night wow time passes when you have fun I really wish Twilight was back because I don’t know if she has said anything but on stormy nights I sneak into her bedroom and snuggle up to her at night and I don’t care what other ponies think of me for it still though there was one more crack of thunder before the power shot out I screamed in fear I really really hate the dark it scares me to the point of tears but before anything else I saw a flash of lightning and a face looking at me through the window before I saw anything else or did anything else ______________________________________________________________________________ I kept crying from the fear of what ever it was I saw that is the one thing I hate about being five again when something scares me to the point of crying I really don’t like it because when I do start crying nopony can understand what I am saying “Calm down Nova” Jero kept trying to calm me down but it was no use I kept trying to talk but it was impossible to understand what I was saying the only thing that could be understood was ‘Monster staring at me’ I am truly turning into a child and I really need to speak to the princess about why I am acting like a child but still that thing scared me so bad I was Twilight now so that way I could snuggle up to her at bedtime The power had came back on a couple of hours ago but I was still crying and I don’t know why all I know is I was scared and could not stop crying I just don’t know what that thing was it looked like a messed up hybrid of a bug and alicorn I had managed to calm down finally “Wh-what was th-that t-thing?” it had been a couple of hours and after Jero’s failed attempts to calm me down and cleaning up something and I wont say what Jero smiled as he patted me on the back “Its alright Nova now just tell me what it was you saw” I sniffled and started to explain what that thing was that I had seen when I finished Jero’s eyes widened “Nova that was a changling!” I looked at Jero confused “A what?” what the heck is a changling I mean it this thing I saw was freaky Jero ran upstairs leaving me alone I started shaking again until he came back with a book and for some reason my Smarty Pants doll I grabbed that thing and hugged I don’t know why I know I said this already but that thing makes me feel safe and even though Twilight is not here when I hug this I feel like Twilight is here I think that is the one reason she gave it to me I was not even paying attention but Jero was opening the book he had brought Jero pointed to something in the book “This is a normal changling, Is this what you saw?” I just shook my head he kept pointing to page after page with different pictures of changlings but I kept shaking my head on each one of them “Well what did it look like?” I sniffled and wiped some of the tears from my eyes “W-well it it had a red coat almost like a crimson color a-and holes in its legs a-a-and a b-black mane and tail” I wanted to start crying again but I will not I sniffled again “I-it has been doing stuff like that ever night for the past few days a-and every night f-for the past few days” I felt tears forming in my eyes again “I-t just looked at me through my bedroom window” I really hate how stuff like that scares me so easily “S-so what I do is sneak into Twilight’s room and climb into her bed” I know it is what a child would do but I am a child now “OK calm down you are safe” I nodded understanding what Jero was saying I know they would never let anything hurt me “Now when Twilight gets back tomorrow I downstairs and see if I was here alone seeing as it is day time I don’t think that changling will bother me….at least I hope not when I got downstairs I saw Twilight was back and talking to Fluttershy my eyes snapped open as I went into a full gallop and jumped on Twilight’s lap I hugged her as tight as I could I know it makes me seems like a mommas boy but screw off after what I went through I really missed her Twilight returned the hug “I missed you too Nova” I know I said I would never say this out loud but who cares “I missed you too mommy” I heard Fluttershy ‘aww’ at that sight but who cares because it is true in the four months I have been in Equestria she has grown on me like a mother I swear if I catch crap about it I am going to be kinda pissed I hope nopony told her about me hitting Lime Wire in the head with a book that little I don’t know what to call him had it coming though Twilight nuzzled me “I missed you and I heard about the changling that is stalking you” Twilight smiled “I wont let anything harm you I promise” I hugged Twilight even tighter after that I know she means it and I know that none of my friends would let any harm come to me heck if anything they are a big family to me we always have each others back no matter what “Oh well I am so sorry for the power going out” Fluttershy said “Its not your fault Fluttershy it could not be helped it was just a thunderstorm” That scared me “Other wise everything else was fine” besides my fear of thunder that scares the living crap out of me and last night when I startedd crying for a couple of hours like the wuss I am turning into because of who knows why but still I can tell that everypony here will help me out through anything they can I looked to my side and noticed a bag I don’t know who it belonges too but I really could not care less….what is Twilight doing with that hair brush I started squirming “Hold still Nova” Twilight said as she held me down and started brushing my mane oh good that is all she is doing I thought she was going to hit me with it after Twilight had finished brushing my mane I heard the one thing that could not have worse timing one of the biggist cracks of thinder ever I immediately gipped onto Twilight for safty “Oh my I forgot that a storm was scudualed for today” Fluttershy said as I kept my grip on Twilight I refuse to start crying well again at least I saw Jero come in the door from weather duty I am guessing I still did not let go of Twilight she is like a safty blanket “Hey everypony” Jero said I just waved to him not moving an inch or loosening up “Hi Jero” Both Twilight and Fluttershy said at the same time “Umm Jero I am sorry to ask this of you but me and the girls are going out tonight think you can keep an eye on” Twilight smirked “The little foal who wont let go of his mommy” Oh Twilight you asked for it I felt a blush growing on my cheeks from that statement but I kept my face buried in Twilight’s chest “I can let go at any time I want to!” Jero sighed “Sure I can watch Nova again” Good other wise I would be alone again and freak out and most likely I would start crying again from the fear I am like Fluttershy when she is near a dragon well a full grown dragon when I hear a crack of thunder I freeze up “Thank you Jero” Fluttershy said in her normal sweet and very low tone of voice I gotta say it is kinda cute if you think about it I finally decided to let Twilight out of my iron grip Twilight gave me a kiss on the cheek before putting me on the couch inbetween herself and Fluttershy man these ponies really do love me _____________________________________________________________________________ The sun had went down yet the storm had not calmed down I was still scared “Hey Nova do you want some cocoa?” Jero asked I shrugged “I guess I would like some coffee but I already know the answer to that is a big no” Jero laughed as he brought me a mug of hot cocoa I held it with my hooves seeing as I know if I use my magic I will some how drop it and burn myself “So where is Scootaloo at?” “I don’t know the whole time I have been here I know nothing of her home life nor do I know her parents” Jero said “Oh she does not have any parents” I said calmly I saw Jero’s eyes widen “WHAT!?” Jero’s asked “Where is she right now!?” I srugged again “I am guessing she is staying with Applebloom” I don’t know where she stays it is not my job to keep up with her I am not her father after all I am only a little colt so yeah it is not my fault “What do you mean you guess?” Jero asked one again I shrugged will say I never thought I would see the day when I got beat in poker by a freaking bunny I have now seen everything yet the one pony I have yet to see is Trixie and I really want to see her that would be awesome I mean sure she has a big ego but who cares we can all boast some times or in Rainbow Dash’s case a lot well I don’t do it that is for sure the poker game was interupted by Jero slamming through the front door with a shivering pegasus filly “Quick Nova go and get a blanket” Jero said as he placed Scootaloo in front of the fire place as I came downstairs with a blanket that had little pictures of chickens on it I know Jero might get all mad about it but instead he just took the blanket and covered Scootaloo with it "How could I have not guessed this" I don't know what to say I mean it I am at a loss for words "Jero what are you going to do?" I asked he did not look at me Jero just looked down "I-I just don't know Nova I just don't know" _________________________________________________________________________________________ I woke up the next day in the guest bedroom I could hear Scootaloo talking I trotted downstairs and made myself known "Good morning" I saw Scootaloo with tearful eyes looking back at me crap what wrong did I do "Good morning" I saw a small smirk growing on Scootaloo's face "How did you sleep squirt?" "Did she just call me squirt really!?" I grinned "pretty good and how did you sleep chicken?" that one might have went too far but who cares I sure don't "I slept better than I have in my whole life" Scootaloo said as I went over to the table sitting down on one of the pillows smiling a little I looked into Scootaloo's eyes "So what did you and Jero talk about?" I asked "W-well we just spoke about why I did not come to anypony about not having anywhere to live" Scootaloo took a deep breath "A-and I told him I was too scared to tell anypony because I was scared that they would send me to an orphanage in Canterlot or some place far away from Ponyville" I feel bad for Scootaloo she is scared that they will send her off but they would not do that I am sure of it I put my hoof on Scootaloo's shoulder "Don't worry Scootaloo there is no way in Equestria anypony would EVER send you off" _________________________________________________________________________________________ I decided that since it was late in the afternoon I would go out and help Jero with his chores around the cottage I got flower duty so I had to water all of the flowers at Fluttershy's house so I knew that would take me forever but anything to help out a friend the only thing I did not care for is I have to hold the watering pot in my mouth I still though both Scootaloo and Jero went to the mayor’s office to do something about the Scootaloo situation I hope she says yes so that way everything can get back to normal I know this seems like I am acting immature but I don’t really care I hate being left alone for hours at a time but at least I had finished the chores I went and put up everything from the chores the only thing I do not like is Twilight got Rarity to make me two pairs of those accursed pajamas one of them has a book pattern on them and the other have little numbers on them Twilight had to wash the ones with the book pattern on them so now until Twilight gets back witch will be after tonight and I already know I will be asleep but who cares I hate how much Twilight has to go out it seems like she never has time for me any more well I mean she is busy a lot with sending letters to the princess and all of that _________________________________________________________________________________________ I had fallen asleep on the couch not even caring I woke up just barely as the door shut I could hear a voice or two they belonged to Jero and Scootaloo I did not want to open my eyes instead I wanted to stay asleep I would have gotten up but I was so sleepy and so lazy I heard Jero let out a laugh “Well it looks like Nova fell asleep” Jero said as he picked me up I kept my eyes shut as Jero carried me “Looks like the little guy tuckered himself out while we where gone” I felt some sort of soft cloth being put on me the next noise I heard was a zipper I cracked my eyes open “No I am not sleepy” I protested trying to stay awake only to hear Scootaloo giggle “Aww did the little colt tire himself out?” Scootaloo asked as she giggled again when I opened my eyes I saw I was wearing a pair of hoofsie pajamas the ones with little numbers on them I blushed when I saw them “Do I have to wear these?” I asked Jero just nodded “Sorry but these are the only ones Twilight packed for you” Jero said as he put me on the bed “And I spoke to the mayor she said that the paper work I filled out should be processed with in the next week and Scootaloo will be legally my daughter” I kept fighting to keep my eyes open “That is good but I am not sleepy” after a while of struggling I ended up falling asleep both Jero and Scootaloo walked out of the room laughing it up at me “Well Scootaloo I guess you can sleep with me tonight if you want to that is” Jero said as he let out a small yawn of his own “That sounds good” Scootaloo said letting out a yawn of her on Author's Note Well everypony this is where the story is really taking off but as you remember the changling from a few chapters ago well lets say this he will be back //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 13:Help Me..... //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 13:Help Me..... I mean sure, it is with a bunch of foals but who cares? Cheerilee put on some music today so that was good, but still I can’t help shake this feeling that I am being watched. I looked behind me “Hello, anypony there?” huh, nothing. I can’t shake it though. It feels like that ‘changeling’ or whatever it was called is following me. I shuddered at the thought of that thing as I kept walking. I just wanted to go back to the library and take a little nap, I have not slept well in the past few days and yes it is because I cannot find my Smarty Pants doll. That and I am too scared to sleep at night because I still feel like something is watching me, be it a changeling or something else, so I just climb into Twilight’s bed and snuggle up to her, she can take Smarty pants’ place. For now... I sighed “Well she told me to spend some time getting to know other ponies.” I stood still for a second “I guess I could do that, or lie about it.” I smirked and just kept trotting. I guess I could go to that one tree and finish the daring doo book that I have been trying to finish for who knows how long now. I know it has been a few days since I started it. I kept walking, only to be stopped by Sweetie Drops “Hey Nova, come here.” I let out a small sigh and went over to her “Here you go kiddo.” Sweetie Drops said before she put a brown paper bag into my saddle bags. I smiled a little “Thanks Sweetie Drops.” I wonder what she put in that bag. I guess I will find out later. I know Twilight packed me a nice little juice box. “You are welcome Nova” Sweetie Drops said, patting me on the head “Just don’t tell Twilight alright” Sweetie Drops added with a wink. I let out a small laugh “Ok Sweetie Drops.” Man her name sounds strange “I won’t tell Twilight.” I continued trotting to the tree. Today so far has been pretty good I will say, first off we got to listen to music in school and now Sweetie Drops gave me a free candy! This is so AWESOME! I wonder what will happen next. Nothing, because I am at my location, the shady tree I sat at last time I read. I sat down and opened my saddle bags, pulling out my book and opening it to the page I was last on. _________________________________________________________________________________________ I let out a small yawn, I had been out here reading this one book all day and I gotta say, I am a little tired. Though that candy Sweetie Drops gave me was pretty good. I looked up at the sky “Huh, it’s getting pretty dark out.” I said aloud while I packed my saddle bags and began trotting back to the library. Twilight had decided to set a curfew for me earlier this week “I hope Twilight is not mad that I am a little late.” The whole walk to the library I could not stop feeling like I was being watched, I turned several times but there was nothing, I was alone “Ugg I think I am even more tired than I thought.” I kept just walking, hoping to get home soon, until I heard something and turned to look. Just as the last time I checked, nothing was there. “Listen, if somepony is pulling a prank, you need to stop! It’s not funny!” I started trotting a little faster. “Come on. Whoever this is you are scaring me.” I said now running as fast as I could, I kept hearing what sounded like a bee “Seriously Rainbow Dash, if this is you just stop. You are taking it too far now.” I was in a full blown gallop, now racing towards the library. The buzzing kept getting louder and closer “HELP ME SOMEPONY!” I shouted, running faster now crying. I kept running until I saw a figure land in front of me “Aw, is the little foal lost?” when I looked up at it I saw it was that changeling thing. I tried running in the other direction only to be caught in its magical grip “Don’t worry; I will take you ‘home’.” ________________________________________________________________________________ Twilight had been all over Ponyville searching for Nova, yet she could not find him. She had checked at Sugar Cube Corner, Sweet Apple Acres, Twilight had even asked most of her friends but none of them had seen him all day. Twilight even asked Ditzy Doo and Berry Punch, neither of them had seen the little colt “I hope Nova is alright.” Twilight said as she worriedly made her way to Fluttershy’s cottage. “Let’s think, I have checked with Applejack, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, and Rarity, along with Cheerilee.” Twilight let out a frustrated groan “So now let’s think. The last pony to see him was Cheerilee and she has not seen him since after school.” Twilight started trotting a little faster “If he fell asleep at Fluttershy’s house I know he is in good hooves.” Twilight just sighed “Maybe I should let my parents meet Nova......or maybe not yet.” Twilight arrived at Fluttershy’s cottage, nearly in full gallop. Knocking on the door she could hear some commotion “For the love of Celestia what did Nova do?” Twilight asked to nopony in particular. She knocked on the door again. After waiting another ten minutes or so, the door swung open revealing a clearly annoyed Jero and Fluttershy. The two looked at Twilight for a few seconds. “Hey Twilight, what is it?” Jero asked Fluttershy noticed the worry on her friends face “Oh, umm Twilight come in” she then hid behind her mane “If you want to that is.” Twilight smiled and stepped inside, seeing the living room was a wreck. I have not had one all day and I am starting to smell like a...... AppleJack is better at doing that. But let me put it this way; I don't smell like a patch of roses, there is one, but still I want to know why they have taken me. Here let’s see. There is a brown stallion, a gold colored mare, and last but not least the freaking 'changeling' those bug eyes are creepy I shuddered from the memory still. At least they gave me a decent sized room with a bed and a lamp but that is all, the room has a bathroom so I am golden, well really it is just a toilet but I get to bathe though I am only given two minutes a day so I have to try and make it fast, only getting to wash my mane. I jumped onto my bed and started a staring match with the wall. Sadly, I was losing. I just stared for what felt like years "This is so boring" I whined and yes I will admit it, I whined. So what? "I wish I was back home, with the other crusaders." I flopped on my belly, I don't understand why this had to happen to me, out of anypony else; not that I would want this to happen to anypony. Trust me I would not. But the only thing I hate is I miss my Smarty Pants doll I know that it may seem foalish but I do. Sleeping isn’t as easy without it or Twilight, in case I couldn’t find him. I continued my little pity party until I heard a knock on the door; I am betting it is the stallion, what was his name? Oh yeah, it was Dark Blade, or the 'changling' Mirror Recall I just hope it is Storm Bringer the mare she is the nicest out of them all heck she somehow snuck me a little bit of ice cream and let me tell you it was good but what I find very odd is they are all blank flanks. Grown ponies without their cutie marks, I didn’t think it was possible. I was able to see the mane of the one entering sticking through the door, I don't know why but they are all black. Who knows "Hey kid, you awake?" Dark Blade asked, I wanted to make a snide remark or pretend to be asleep but I know that might end badly. Like having my bed taken away, leaving me to sleep on the floor, and before you say anything I’m not acting like Rarity; it isn’t that it’s dirty, it’s just really uncomfortable. I sighed "Yeah, I am awake. What do you need?" He trotted in "Well I know you are wondering why we took you." _________________________________________________________________________________ I sat there after he had left, jaw on the floor, not believing any of it. Because of Twilight and her brother they want to hurt Twilight by taking ME, her child. It had taken the pair hours to do seeing as everyone else on the weather team had all came down with something known as ‘feather flu’. Rainbow Dash was frustrated that it was only her and Jero on weather duty. After getting the last patch of cloud, Rainbow Dash noticed something. “Hey Jero did you put that cloud over there?” Rainbow Dash asked staring at Jero with a look of confusion on her face. The cloud she had spotted was lingering over the Everfree Forest. “No, it wasn't me, you don't think it could've come from the Everfree, do you?” Jero asked . “Nope I don’t think it could have” Rainbow Dash stated flying over to the cloud with Jero flanking her after a second they started to hit the cloud in hopes of breaking it “It won't budge” Jero on the other hoof was trying to move the cloud “Maybe we should try and move it” When Rainbow Dash did not answer “Jero move NOW!” Rainbow Dash screamed taking off Jero did not understand why she told him to move until the cloud exploded causing him to fall only to land in a blue flower “YOU OKAY DOWN THERE? THAT LOOKS LIKE IT HURT!” “I'm ok! Nothing broken.” Jero replied while brushing his coat off realizing the flowers he landed in “ Uh oh...” “Oh this is not good” Rainbow Dash said as if coincidence Zecora was walking their way “Hello my good friend Jero” Zecora said smiling walking to the pair “I hope all is well” “Zecora! Man, is it lucky you showed up just now.I seem to have landed on some Poison Joke. We tried to move it and it wouldn't budge and later we found out it was unstable and going to explode. We flew out of the way, but the wind caused me to lose balance and I crashed in a flower patch. I'm OK but....the patch had some Poison Joke in it” Jero explained “Oh are you alright you? did not get hurt did you? are your wings okay?” Fluttershy started bombarding Jero with questions Jero gave Fluttershy a kiss to help calm her” I'm OK Fluttershy, nothing hurt or broken.” “Well did Zecora help you with a cure?” Fluttershy asked Jero just shook his head “She said she didn't have any on her right now, but that she was going to work on it and give it to me as soon as she can. would catch me and I might get in trouble I would hate to piss off well anypony still though I gotta say it is kinda creepy being smaller than everypony it is deeply disturbing knowing that they could over power me in an instant Still I don’t think any of the ponies here would harm me or anypony for that matter well they might yell at somepony but that is all ponies would wave at both me and Jero and the occasional pony would say ‘Hi’ witch I would happily say hello to them Still the whole walk to the school was long and awfully quiet except for the chatter of ponies around us still we arrived at the school in a reasonable amount of time and I was not looking forward to the day ahead of me When we came to the front door there was magenta mare standing at the door smiling waiting for all her ‘little ponies’ to come into the school still though I don’t think Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon could come and bother me seeing as they are older now and I am in kindergarten As I walked to the door I saw Cheerilee smiling at me “You must be our new student Nova correct?” She ask and I nodded “Okay good well when class starts we can introduce you” I eyes widened at the thought but I could only got to witness AppleBloom say that awesome wait where are they taking me why am I being dragged in Sweetie Belle’s magic and when did she learn magic “GAH LEMME GO WHERE ARE YOU TAKING ME!?” Jero well still though they have so much energy and I found out the answer to my question Derpy is not called Derpy here she is called by her official name Ditzy Doo so now I know that I won’t even have to ask her what her name is and act like I do not know it crap I had walked through the front door of Fluttershy’s cottage to see nopony home this is odd enough “Where is everypony?” I thought to myself still the vast cold darkness was all through the house and the silence it was too quiet the only noise that could be heard now was the occasional crack of thunder the lightning would give some light only for a second though I do not like what is going on I do not see any of Fluttershy’s animals its like the place has been abandon but this morning when I was here it was so full of life and joy and now it is filled with darkness and fear The sounds of raindrops beating on the roof and ground outside is the only thing that sounded like movement it does not help when the floorboards creak a little from the slightest movements I could not contain myself much longer I felt like I was going to explode from the fear of it all I do not know what is going on but I need to find out and soon I was hoping that somepony would be home when I got back or even leave a note if they had to leave I would have never guessed that Fluttershy would be one to not leave a note if she had to go somewhere if it was important she would have sent somepony after me I am sure of it still I need to know what is going on and now I scampered started walking only to hear another crack of thunder that was the one that knocked out the power I then started running around the house shouting “Fluttershy? Jero? where are you?” I kept going running and running I finally realized it was a futile attempt to keep looking for them they are not here I then sat on the cold floor I kept hearing something in my head just going on over and over “Do not give up keep looking this is your dream world a place you have always wanted to go” I looked around for the source of the voice I kept turning my head left and right after a while I recognized the voice it was that of my grandmother she was somehow speaking to me or just somehow I can hear her voice telling me this still though I am truly scared I just sat on the floor scared the thunder and lightning I do not understand where they went its like they left me alone and I do not know if they will come back anytime soon what am I talking about yes they will be back soon they have to come back they just have to they can’t leave me alone.........can they “This is the world I have dreamed of living in and now they have left me on my own in a thunderstorm at least it is not a big crowded party” I have what is commonly known as agoraphobia in a nutshell it means I hate being in big crowds I guess I can try to come over it but it will be hard but I am sure I can do it with the help of my friends who are not here I sniffled but I can not cry, that will show a little bit of weakness and I will NOT show weakness from abandonment they are my friend they would not abandon me I should know this by now Now let's be rational maybe Jero and Fluttershy and all of her animals had to do something that caused them to leave the house and not tell me or leave a note I heard a loud crack but this was not thunder when I opened my eyes I saw the lights on with a big banner saying ‘Welcome To Ponyville’ I cocked an eyebrow at this when I looked around I only noticed Fluttershy,Rarity,Pinkie Pie,Rainbow Dash,AppleJack, a now full grown Jero and Twilight All there I did not know what to think at the time I smiled a little I think they had been planning this for a while and I am glad they did it is a nice gesture I guess Jero must have told them about my hatred of big crowds still it was nice some cake and more than enough sugary treats that could cause me to go into a coma this is going to be fun yet suck at the same time “Well this is a small welcoming party” Twilight said looking right at me “I know it is nothing too big eating myself into a coma” I let out a small laugh “ How does Pinkie Pie do that all the time I will never know” I just got lost in my own little world it was fun today was one of the best days of my life I will say that much “Come on Nova” Twilight said shouting for my she had gotten farther ahead than I expected still I am right today was a good day yet something feels like it is missing we had Rarity was making some pajamas for colts but Rarity was not able to find any colts to model them for her that is when Twilight got the idea to volentier me to do it I got to say this sucks so far I have tried on SO many pairs and to add insult to injury they are hoofise pajamas I had tired on ones that had a celestia patteren on them and ones that had a luna patteren on here is a short list of what I have had to try on one of them had Just leave it here I have tried on about seventeen pairs of them the ones I had just tried on had bumblebees on them so far Twilight said her favorite pair where the ones with numbers on them I really hate this but thank Celestia this pair is the very last one and I have a feeling that Twilight will like these they have books on them I sighed as Rarity pulled the hood up but I REALLY hate that they are taking pictures Rarity gave me a shove I just glared at her Rarity gave me one more push “Go on darling” I groaned and went out from the curtin I heard Twilight squeal I was getting tired of doing this I was getting hot because of all the hoofsie pajamas and I know this seems like something a little kid would say but it is true we have been doing this for I think since seven in the morning and it is ten now so I can not stand this I am also happy this is the last pair I have to try on I really hope nopony else sees this “Oh my goodness Nova you look so cute” Twilight took another picture I feel like I am dying inside “Rarity may I please get a pair of these for him?” Rarity let out a giggle “Even better Twilight you can just have these” Rarity gave me a pat on the head “And thak you Nova for doing this” Rarity then levitated a lolliepop I in front of me as she had gotten that last pair of over insolated wool pajamas off my flank I grabbed the lollipop and just started to eat it I know that seems childish but still I think I have earned it Twilight laughed I looked up at them “Can I go now?” I asked Twilight just shook
