Twilight Sparkle was just finished with her time travel transmission sender. “Okay now I just need to mark my calender for next week. Spike, if this works, I will be able to send myself and others transmission all the time! Even to the Princess! Okay now we just have to wait.”. It was only moments later that the platform lit up and a broken, injured, Twilight Sparkle appeared. “Oh my! Did I over react again?” she asked sarcastically. “No,you have to listen to me! Next week, Monday, somepony is going to try and destroy all of Equastria and this will save the world.”. She handed Twilight a silver compass that contained pictures of the Elements of Harmony. “What's this for?” asked the present Twilight. “Its used for tracking down the Elements of Harmony. Please hurry!”. Just then in the backround, Pinkie Pie was running from falling pieces of the Canterlot Library. “Twilight, LOOK OUT!”. Just as she said this a giant piece of stone fell on top of her leg. The transmission ended there. “Spike, I need to find them. I need to find the Elements of Harmony!”
The compass wouldn't reveal the location of the Elements. “Why won't this thing work! I need to find the Elements!”. At that moment, she got an idea. “Maybe I need to ask Princess Celestia about this!”. She hoped on the first train to Canterlot. “CELESTIA! Hello, guards, I need to talk to the princess, its an emergency!”. They let her through and she ran straight for the throne room. “Princess, my future self gave me this.”. She put out her hoof and revealed a sliver compass with the Elements on it. “Twilight Sparkle! That must only be used for emergencies! You are in big trou-”. The ground shook and a boom was heard in the distance. “What was that!?” yelled the princess. “Oh no! Its Monday! Everypony! Watch out for falling stones!”. All the ponies in the room looked at her as if she was crazy, but they stopped when a giant boulder smashed right into the roof. The boulder fell onto the throne. “CELESTIA!”. The rock crushed her and killed her. The guards all lowered their head in sadness. “EVERYPONY! THIS IS NOT THE TIME FOR GREAVING!”.
Twilight ran for her life. She had to find her friends. First she went Rarity's home. “Rarity? We have to go!”. Rarity saw her and stopped working. “Oh, darling, you just have to try on your winter rap up outfit for this year! I've made them so they match everyponies personality and mane color!” she said while levitating and putting the vest on Twilight. “Rarity, its an emergency! We all have to leave now!”. Rarity too her time putting all the outfits into her saddle bags. She asumed it was just one of Twilight's over reactions. Rarity decided to play along with Twilight. “Okay darling, I'll go with you.” she said. “Just, please hurry!”.
Twilight rounded up all of her friends at Sugar Cube Corner to tell them what happened. “Guys, I'm sorry but, Princess Celestia is... dead....”. Twilight shed a tear. “ All of the other ponies look at her sadly. “WAIT! How did the princess die, and how would you know!?” yelled Rainbow Dash. “I know because I was there! She was crushed by a falling piece of the castle! The castle was hit by something and it fell apart! My future self gave me this.”. She held out her hoof and showed her friend. “Its a compass that shows where the elemants were. I don't know how to use it, but my future self said that whole castle would fall apart, but she also told me not to send a transmission to my self.”
What's going on, Twilight?
Rarity was so shocked by this news, she asked the stupidest question ever. "Is there still going to be a Winter Rap up?" she said. "OF COURSE NOT! DIDN'T HEAR TWILIGHT!? CELESTIA'S DEAD" screamed Rainbow Dash. She was on the edge of crying. Rarity thought for a second. "I have an idea.", she handed out the vest for the Rap up, "WE can use these to symbolize our mission!" she exclaimed. They put on their vests and started to make a plan. "Uh girls..." whispered Flutter Shy. They ignored her and continued with their planning. "Um girls, I think someones watching us...". "Flutter Shy, no ones watching us!" yelled Apple Jack. "Oh, I'm sorry...". Just then a pair of bright blue eyes watched them from the shadows. Pinkie Pie saw them and jumped. "WHAT'S THAT!?" screamed Pinkie. They all looked toward the eyes. Twilight lit up the dark shadows, to reveal a young mare, not young enough to be a filly, but about 13 years old. "Who are you?" they all asked. The mare ran away from them, but crashed into a wall while running. "OOF! What the hay? Oh yeah! I gotta run!" said the mysterious pony as she ran off. They stopped chasing her and let her go. "Who was that?" asked Apple Jack. No one had an answer, but Pinkie Pie did have something. "Hey! YOU DROPPED THIS!" screamed Pinkie. The purple pony didn't stop running, but she slowed down to look behind her. They all looked at what she had dropped. It was a necklace with a locket on the chain. Pinkie tried to open it, but she wasn't successful. "Its like it cursed or something!" yelled Pinkie. "Uh, its not cursed, you were just opening the wrong side." said Rarity. Rainbow picked up the locket and opened it. "Who are they?" asked Pinkie. The picture showed two ponies, one male, one female. The male pony was red and the female blue. "Hmm, I have no idea Pinkie, but whoever they are, they must be important to her." said Twilight.
