Across the veils

Ladies and Gentlemen who have favorited the story formerly known as Rift, I have an important announcement. After watching the Nostalgia Critic and how he critiqued his own work, I've decided to reread my own story. And, I have to say, it's a mess.  I was astounded by so many plotholes, terrible pacing, and shoehorned scenes. So, I've decided that for now, I'm going to halt production so I can rewrite this story.

One glaring scene that, now that I've read it again, is giving me major issues. I'm sure you know what scene, it's the one where Anakin says that Ghirahim told him about Ulfric, despite the fact that Ghirahim had no prior knowledge of him. Also, the plot point of having them replace Ulfric is just stupid, not to mention so many establishing moments at the beginning being completely forgotten. The biggest grip I've had, is how rushed Trixie's forgiven scene feels, and to be honest, I did force it.

So, this story is going off for a while, at least until things are fixed. I know that some of you are wanting to see some updates, but the new chapter is going to be longer than I thought, and personally, I find this to be really important. I apologize to anyone who was offset by the points I brought up, and I also hope that you'll give this story another try afterwards.

Also, thanks to those who have supported this story as well, and also to M-tails-P for pointing out quite a few grammatical errors. So, for now, as I said, this is going on pause. The updates you'll be seeing will mostly just be old chapters being rewritten, merged, or erased altogether. Until then, my friends.

EDIT: Another quick thing, my Computer has been acting up real bad, so don't expect to see these updates anytime soon. Sorry.
