The Memory of ZakoraChapter5

All 5 of the ponies trudged on, Twilight carrying Fluttershy's limp body up in the air with her magic. They made it to Zakora's cabin, but everypony felt something was..wrong. They walked into Zakora's house. "YOU SHOULD NOT BE HERE!" Zakora yelled at the ponies. "But..we need help with Fluttershy!" Twilight dropped Fluttershy on the floor. Zakora barley move a finger and put together a potion. He fed it to Fluttershy, who bounced up immediantly. "Now go, you shouldn't be he---" He fell to the ground, a horrible gash. A shadow, screams.

"AAAAAAAAAAUGHHHHHH!!!" I awoke, I started to sit but remembered the mine cart seat and slid out from under it. I could tell it had been several days, and that somebody had left the mine. A pony. I saw the hoofprints. A quick flash of 5 of my friends, and Fluttershy being held by magic in the air. Them running out of the mine. I fell onto the snow sprinkled ground, I remembered it had been 3 days, I counted that to my original date. Dec. 25. Christmas. The day miracles could happen.

I shuddered and hoped pure hope that today a Christmas miracle would happen.

Twilight ran, the other ponies behind her. Fluttershy running as fast as her newly awakened legs could take her. Something was chasing them. They didn't know what, but something was trying to kill them. Zakora dangled over them, Rarity's magic held strongly around the zebra. Twilight had what was left of the healing potion up with her magic. The shadow followed them, looking more menacing than ever.

As they ran Twilight out of pure frustration yelled "Spike, help us" The shadow laughed at her scream.

I leaned against the outside of the mine, thinking, when a voice shattered my thought. "Spike, help us!" it yelled. I gaped, it was Twilight. I ran, I didn't even know where but my intution forced me to keep moving. Finally I found them. I sighedat the fact that all 6, including Fluttershy, were still alive. Yet, Zakora's dead body lying limply in the air wasn't at all pleasing. Out of thin air, I produced a raging fire that...broke  the shadow. It just shattered and disapeared as the fire spread around it.

"Spike!" all 6 yelled. Zakora and the potion dropped gently to the ground as they all ran up to me. Twilight, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Applejack, and Rarity hugged me. Rarity kissed me gently on the cheek. "Guys, what about Zakora?" Applejack asked. Twilight fed Zakora the potion. Zakora bounced up and smiled at the ponies.

Then all 8 of us walked down the path to Ponyville. Friends Forever.
