Well guys this is a one shot thing in the story RD has one day left to live and wants to make amends with her daughter hope you like :D

Rainbow Dash had just left the doctor’s office receiving the news that she had one day left to live. The cyan mare know she had to let the one pony that she truly cared about, knew. She needed to tell her that she loved with all her heart. That and the doctors harze words about what is happening in her body. She wanted to spend her final days with her daughter. Rainbow Dash knew this would be hard to break to her daughter, and prayed to Celestia that she would make it just right. She needed all the luck she could get in this fateful day.
“Please, Celestia. Please let me live through this. I promise if I do, I will take on the responsibility as a mother” Rainbow Dash said to nopony in particular. She had given Derpy a letter to Scootaloo, telling her that she needed to speak to her, and it was important. Rainbow Dash hated herself for not being there for Scootaloo. She hated that she put her dreams first, instead of her daughter. And most of all, she hated herself to put her daughter in a orphanage when the alternative was a better choice. Rainbow Dash promised that if she lived through the night, she would take on every part of being a mother of the filly she had abandon.
“I am sorry to say this Miss Dash, but you have cancer.” It was three weeks earlier. A doctor with a red cross contra red half moon with white coat brought the news for the athletic pegasus.
“No, you lying. There is no way that I have that.”
“The tests show you got cancer, and it is a deadly ending for most cases. I’m willing to bet my right hoof that this case has that ending. I am sorry that it has to be that, but the tests would not lie,” Rainbow Dash saw scared to the doctor. She would not go down without a fight.
“What can you do to me to prevent this?” she asked.
“The tests shows it is too late for fight it with medicament. All that is now is a small hope for a miracle. This sort of cancer is quite common for athletes. Without any treatment in the first stage of this, most hope is lost. If you are lucky, I will give you three weeks sharp to fight back this, but you know the government, the paperwork to those what I want to do for you could take six week. Maybe even a half year. And you don’t have that much time. I am sorry, but life is never fair to us.”
Tears from the magenta colored eyes filled the blue coat. Hulks came from the mouth of the mare as she finally gave up all Right to survive. Right then and there, Rainbow Dash knew what she had to do.
Rainbow Dash sat on her couch in her cloud home as there was a knock on the door “Come in” The cyan mare shouted as the door opened revealing a brash orange pegasus filly smiling that her hero asked her to come over “Hey Scoots come on in their is something we need to talk about” Rainbow said with a lump in her throat smiling weakly for the fillies sake
“Hi Rainbow Dash thank you for letting me come over this is so cool” Scootaloo half shouted out of excitement “So umm what is it you needed to talk about?”
“Well Scootaloo i wanted to ask you, Do you know who your mother is?” Rainbow Dash asked the small filly seeing her ears flatten Rainbow Dash bit her lip knowing this would hurt her
“No the orphanage said she asked them not to tell me” Scootaloo said
“Well Scoots i know who your mother is”Rainbow said with a gulp
“Wait you do?!? Can you tell me please?” Asked Scootaloo as she saw a small smile appeared on Rainbow Dash’s face
“I do not need to you are talking to her” Rainbow Dash said seeing Scootaloo’s eyes widen at finding out her hero the pony she looked up that she thought of as a sister is her mother Scootaloo stood there not moving as she looked at Rainbow Dash her sist- no her mother with tears welling up in her eyes Scootaloo hugged Rainbow Dash tight
“Its ok Scootaloo i know right now its a lot to take in but there's one more thing i need you to know” Rainbow said in a shaky voice
“Wh-what is it?” Asked Scootaloo
“I went to the doctor today and found out i have one day left to live” Rainbow Dash said as the mare hugged Scootaloo just as tight
“No you can’t die you can’t i just found out you are my mom and you are dying please don’t do this” Scootaloo said sobbing into Rainbow Dash’s chest “please don’t die mommy”
“ This is too painful please sweet celestia please let me live “ Rainbow Dash thought to herself “I am so sorry Scoots i wish i did not have to die please forgive me” Rainbow Dash said as she rubbed her hoof on Scootaloo’s back trying to calm the sobbing filly down “You can stay here tonight Scootaloo does that sound like fun?”
“Y-you mean i can stay here with you tonight?” Asked Scootaloo
“Yes you can Scoots you are more then welcome to” Rainbow Dash said using her wing as a blanket to cover Scootaloo up
Scootaloo had awoke the next day to the smell of pancakes the filly walked to the bathroom first after using the restroom and washing her hooves the filly walked around the cloud home exploring she heard a voice that sounded familiar to her “Scoots you coming to eat or what” The said when Scootaloo turned around she saw a very familiar cyan rainbow maned pegasus
Scootaloo began to cry but not out of sadness but out of joy the joy that her mother was still alive Rainbow Dash walked over and hugged Scootaloo tightly using her wings as a protective shield so to speak the two sat there a little while hugging not wanting the moment to end ever
“You're alive mommy” Scootaloo said with a sniffle
“Ya i am Scoots i guess miracles do happen sometimes and this was one of those times” Rainbow Dash said as she stood up walking down stairs “You coming?”
“Ya on my way” Scootaloo said running into the kitchen
