Karon the trickster has much to be thankful for after his time in Equestria, and now armed with an almost completed training under the wizard Varsif he sets out on a search for adventure, truth and power. Following him on this journey is his lover Trixie, who has had ample opportunity to develop her own magical talent during her brief time on Terra. And both of them are now eager to truly test what they have learned, and what better arena than the entire universe with all its secrets, conflicts, tragedies, heroes and villains? And so from a tavern standing in the center of all things they will walk many roads, all of them fraught with danger and opportunity as they head towards their destinies on a starlit path.
