The mission was simple, take a base on Reach, make sure the humans did not reclaim it, and wait for pick up. Shuur'Makhanee found it was not so simple. After receiving a knife to his brain, Shuur wakes up In a forest unlike any of which he had seen, that also comes equipped with a new undiscovered species, and the problem of contact with home. Now he must live in this world, and make some friends doing so.

But, earlier that day, the Cutie Mark Crusaders where out to get their cutie marks as forest mappers when they stumbled upon a funny looking red shiny thing. It turns out that it can talk, is a warrior, and can turn invisible at will. Unfortunately, they still did not receive their cutie marks, but made an alien friend instead. Which they decided was good enough; now what to do with it is another story.
