An Odd Fortress

Braeburn and Applejack were sitting under a tree on the Apple Family Farm, talking about some things, Braeburn was clearly upset about something and Applejack was just chatting along.

"Whad'ya mean I can't take the train back, cuz?"

"It'd be faster if ya' let Twi teleport cha'"

"Well alright-y then... So tomorow, right?"

"Yes siree."

The Cutie Mark Crusaders were gathered around a small table in their hideout, talking about a prank they may pull on Twilight tomorrow.

"I don't think this is right, Scootaloo."

"Aw come on Sweetie! All we have to do is throw water balloons at her."

"Sweetie's got a point, ya know."

"Aw shut it, AB. You know this is gonna be awesome!"

"So tomorrow?"

"Yep."

"See you two then. See y'all later."

"See ya Apple Bloom."

Apple Bloom slid down the slide they had planted at the top while Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo giggled.

Cloudchaser yawned as she listened to Flitter babble on about wanting to borrow a book from the library tomorrow. It was getting late and Cloudchaser reluctantly agreed.

"Geez, okay Flitter. You can have the freakin' book."

"Yay!"

Berry Punch and Dilluted Livo sat in a bar, chatting. It wasn't often that Berry was sober enough that Livo could strike up a conversation.

"Berry. You're coming to Twilight's place with me tomorrow? Alright!"

"Yeah... Tender, get me another beer."

"Yes ma'am."

Thunderlane groaned. This was the third day he failed to complete of the sky on time. He didn't like the inevitable punishment. Rainbow Dash would pull out her whip and give him three good lashes to make sure he got it done on time the next day.

"Come on Dash! At least give me SOME leniancy."

"Alright then. You get to help Twilight try out her new spell tomorrow."

Spy respawned in a pen as Scout cried out "YES!" And dashed out to start drilling robots with his custom pistol, now renamed the Uzi. Spy, Medic, and Heavy watched the scoreboard as Sniper and Engineer both racked up kill after kill. Scout was starting to make his way up when Sniper got pulled on his first death.

"Darned wankers. They have homing bullets or something. Your up, Medic."

Engineer soon respawned as well and called Heavy out.

"Ah hope we get some reinforcements soon."

"Me too mate. Me too."
