By an accident,involving a strange spell book,the mane six and Spike the dragon end up in prehistoric Earth.There they meet with its dinosaur residents and become friends with a young dinosaur named Littlefoot and his gang.However their adventure is going to take a nasty turn,when they find out that their enemy,Queen Chrysalis is also here with the goal to find an artifact of great power.And so the two gangs must join forces in order to defeat Chrysalis and restore peace to Earth.
