A Crimson Starby CrimsonEyedPrinceChaptersAwakeningDreams of Silver and LossTangerine Sunset and an Unexpected KissAn Unfriendly First MeetingBlack and WhiteBloody's New FriendThe Crimson Star AppearsAwakeningBloody Star awoke to the sound of thunder. He looked around, and realized he must be in the farmhouse that he had seen before passing out. He began to think about the tangerine mare and he started to smile. She must have brought him into her home to make sure he was alright. He wasn't used to others helping him anymore, so it would take some getting used to. He tried to go back to sleep, but the thunder kept him awake. He could hear voices coming from somewhere below him, meaning he was on the second floor of the house. He quietly got up from the bed and made his way to the stairs. He was soon able to make out what the voices were saying. One voice had a southern drawl and obviously belonged to a mare, probably the tangerine mare. The other voice had a Celtic tone to it and belonged to a Stallion. For some reason, the stallions voice was familiar to Blood. He couldn't place it, but he was sure he had heard that voice before. He shook his head and listened to what they were talking about. * "Ah don't understand. Why can't they transfer him to the hospital? He's obviously hurt and in need of some medical help. Shouldn't they be tryin' to help him no matter what?" Said the Mare. "Calm down now, AppleJack. He is going to be fine. You heard what the nurse said, let him get plenty of bed rest and some food and he'll be up and about in no time. Besides, I think he is stronger than he looks. He has obviously been through quite the ordeal. I'm curious as to his name, though. Are you sure he didn't say anything before passing out?" Asked the Stallion. "Yeah, Fallin', i'm sure. I'm worried bout him though. He has been unconcious for the past three days. He hasn't woken up once and we can't feed him if he doesn't wake up. I'm just worried that he might get worse." Said Applejack. "I know, AJ. Give him time. he will eventually wake up." Said Falling. * Bloody quietly snuck back into the bedroom he had come out of and got back under the covers. Why did that stallions, Fallings, voice sound so familiar? He would have to think about that later. For now, he just let his mind fall back into the peaceful dreams he had been having earlier. It wasn't long before he heard the door to the room open. He guessed it must be Applejack coming to check up on him. Then he heard the scrape of a chair being pulled up to the side of the bed. A hoof touched his own and he relished the contact. He had missed being in contact with others. He must have had a frightened or worried expression on his face, because Applejack began talking to him in a soft, soothing, reassuring voice. * "Ah don't know if you can hear me, but I wanted to tell you that I'm here for you. I'm not gonna hurt ya. I hope you wake up soon so we can at least feed you and help you get better.....Listen to me, talking to an unconcious stallion whos name I don't even know. I must be seven kinds o' crazy. I hope you can hear me. I-I've never seen anypony with the amount of scars that you have. Don't take that to mean I don't find them...well, somewhat attractive. I'd best get to bed, but I want you to know that I'm gonna help you as best I can. Oh and my name is Applejack." * Bloody opened his eyes just a bit and saw Applejack almost at the door. He said her name softly and she turned towards him. Bloody forced his eyes to open enough for her to clearly see his irises. For a couple of minutes, they stared into each others eyes. Then Bloody felt his strength beginning to wane. It wouldn't be long before he fell asleep again. He had to tell her his name. He owed her that after she had helped him and talked to him. "My name is Bloody...Bloody Star." He managed to say before he fell back into his dreams. The last thing he remembered before his eyes closed again was Applejacks smile. He smiled back, content with the knowledge that she at least knew his name. He slipped into his peaceful dreams and his smile never left his face. Applejack appeared in his dreams, but she wasn't the only mare in his mind. His first love was there as well, A mare known as Silver Blade. Dreams of Silver and LossBloody Star was walking through the Everfree forest one evening, thinking on about his recent victory. The last battle had gone according to plan. His warriors had been merciful to those that hadn't fought. He had snuck away while his troops celebrated their victory, but not before giving a speech to them and getting a little tipsy. He smiled a genuine smile. His sisters had no way to stop him and his troops other than the elements of harmony and He was able to protect his soliders from those. Soon they would be marching on to the capital, Canterlot, and once they had taken it, he would have his throne. Everything was right with his world. That is, until he met HER. * She was an exquisite mare, with cool gray mane and tail and slate colored coat. Her right eye was Dark Brown while her left was a deep shade of Blue. On her face was a think scar that only added to her allure. She was the most magnificent mare he had ever laid eyes on. He had to know her name. So, tipsy and smiling like a complete idiot, he trotted over to her and began a conversation. When he approached her, she seemed scared at first but then, as he drew closer, she ran at him and knocked him to the ground, pressing an oddly sharp hoof against his neck and Demanding to know why he was coming after her. Eventually he managed to get her to calm down and she let him up. * The Dream jumped forward a number of months, to just a couple months later. Bloody Star and The Gray Mare, whos name was Silver Blade, were watching the sunset from the top of a hill. He said something silently and she smiled. It was the first time he had made her smile with happiness, without the aid of a fierce battle on the horizon. He grew bolder and started telling jokes with her, eventually making her laugh. Hearing her laugh was one of the best moments of his life. It made him smile and forget, even for just fleating moment, that they were almost to Canterlot, where his sisters and the royal army would be waiting. he leaned his head closer to her and looked her in the eyes, those beautiful mis-matched eyes of hers, and finally managed to say those three little words. He finally said "I Love you." After a moment of silence she had said the same thing to him and they kissed as the sun was lost below the horizon. * Again, the dream jumped forward, this time to the day before the Attack on Canterlot. Star and Sliver were arguing. Silver wanted to help in the battle but Star was not going to let her, especially since she was six months pregnant. Star didn't want to put her and the foal at such a high risk. He wanted her to stay behind, to take care of the foal and herself. She started yelling that he didn't truely love her, which both knew wasn't true, but it still stung him. He finally agreed to let her participate in the battle, as long as she stayed close to him and promised to run if everything went to pieces. She reluctantly agreed to his terms and they kissed once before getting their weapons and armor ready for battle. * The dream jumped to the middle of the next day. Bloody Star and Silver blade were charging through the streets of Canterlot, alone except for each other. Every now and then a group of guards would fight them in the streets, but they weren't a match for the two of them. Soon they would be at the palace, dethroning his sisters and taking control. Suddenly, a lunar guard springs from the shadows of an alley at Bloody Star. Star smashed him in the face with his hoof, knocking the guard unconcious. The palace loomed in front of them and they looked at each other. This was what they had fought for, what their warriors were fighting for. * They burst into the throne room and were blinded by a sudden burst of light. Star heard Silver cry out in pain. After that, everything was silent. Star shook his his head to clear the spots from his eye. Once they were clear, he looked around him and saw Silver laying on her side like she was Sleeping, but something was wrong. She wasn't breathing. Star ran over to her and checked her pulse. He couldn't feel anything, so he started CPR, but to no result. He heard Celestia say "It's too late for that, Bloody Star. She is no more." He stiffened and turned towards his sisters with murder in his eyes. "Don't you stand there trying to look innocent. You killed her. She was the only one that truely understood me, the only one that truely loved me for who I am. I loved her. We were going to be parents, too. She was six months pregnant with my child and you killed her, you foal murders! I'LL KILL YOU!" He leapt at Celestia and Luna, thinking of nothing but how good it would feel to bring the same fate upon them. He saw another flash of light, then everything went dark. He opened his eyes and beheld his prison, the very abyss he had escaped. * Bloody woke up in the farmhouse room, with Applejack standing over him with a worried expression on her face. He smilied at her and said "Your kinda cute when you're worried, you know that." She smiled at that and it relieved him of his worries for the rest of the night. He was glad he could still make others smile. The fact gave him a tiny ray of hope, that eventually everything would be ok. He turned away from Applejack and let the tears he had been holding back flow. No, nothing would be ok. Not until he avenged Silver Blade and their unborn foal. He missed them more than anything. He wasn't afriad to let Applejack hear him cry. He was still in mourning and yet here he was getting closer to this strange mare he had only just met. What was going to happen next? Only time will tell. Tangerine Sunset and an Unexpected KissBloody Star got out of bed in the morning, feeling completely refreshed after almost four whole days of sleep. He made his way down the stairs and found Applejack waiting at the bottom. "Well, look who finally decided to get out of bed. How are ya feelin'?" "I'm feeling a might hungry and I could go for some hard work, if you got any." "I'm sure we could find something for you to do. Now come get some food." "Thank ya kindly, miss Applejack." They both sat at the kitchen table and ate some pancakes and eggs, with a cool glass of applecider to wash it down. All throught the meal, Bloody felt Applejack watching him, as if she were trying to figure out why he had been crying last night. * After Breakfast, Applejack introduced the rest of her family. The little yellow filly named Applebloom, the large Red Stallion named Big Macintosh, and the elderly Granny Smith. Having met everyone, Bloody immediatly got to work helping Big Macintosh and Applejack buck apples off the trees in their orchard. It was hard, honest work and Bloody savored every moment of it. The work kept him from thinking about his dream last night and helped get his muscles functioning properly. Though it was slow going, the work was rather enjoyable. He learned a fair deal about Applejack just by watching her movements. He had learned to do that while waging his war against Celestia and Luna. Her body language spoke volumes and he absobed ever detail. Suddenly, a hoof bopped him on the back of his head and Big Mac gave him a serious stare, one that said put your eyes back in your head and get back to work. Bloody blushed and mumbled an apology, returning to the task at hand. * They Worked all day, stopping only to eat lunch and occasionaly get some water. Soon it was getting dark and Big Mac went back to the house to help Granny Smith and Applebloom fix dinner, leaving Bloody and Applejack alone. The silence that fell between them was thick and laced with tension. Finally, Bloody couldn't stand it anymore and decided to talk. "Are there any good spots to watch the sunset around here?" He blurted out. Applejack smiled with relief and said "Sure there are. Come on, I'll take you to my favorite spot." * Bloody Star followed Applejack, who insisted he call her AJ, into the orchard. They walked and chatted about the weather and other such things, until they came to a rather large hill. Applejack continued all the way to the top, with Bloody following close behind. Once they were both on top of the hill, they both sat down and watched the sunset. Even though the sunset was beautiful, Bloody Star couldn't help looking at Applejack from time to time. He simply admired her and wanted to see her happy and smiling all the time. But he knew better than to think she would be happy with him, especially after he showed her what he needed to. He knew she would back away from him and run. But he had to do this, if only to get her to understand why he had been crying. * "AJ?" he hesistantly asked. "What's on your mind, Bloody?" She asked in return. Bloody Star went silent for a moment, trying to think of the best way to say what he needed to say. "I don't know anymore, to be honest. I used to think of nothing but the next day, then only about my anger and hate, now though....I just don't know what to think." "What's all this about Bloody? Why would you think about anger and hate?" "I can't tell you, it would be too hard to explain..." "Then why did ya bring it up?" Star looked at Applejack and gave her a sad smile. "I said I couldn't tell you. What I can do is Show you. If you are alright with seeing my memories, That is." "Ok....I don't really understand what all this is about, but I guess you can show me." "Alright then, know that what i'm about to show you is my past." * Leaning his head closer to Applejacks, Bloody Star concentrated on the magic that would allow her to see what he had seen in his dream last night. He saw the fear in her eyes as she learned about his bloody history, then the concern when he had been pinned down by Silver Blade in the forest. Soon her face became serene as she saw his happiest moment in the dream. After a short time, Applejack became sad as she witnessed what his sisters had done. She began to cry, just as he had when he released the magic and slumped to the ground, to tired to even stay upright. "Now you know everything about me and I do mean everything. I understand if you hate me for what I've done. I would too. If you want me to leave forever, I'll do it." * Applejack was silent for a few minutes. She had to think about what Bloody Star had just shown her. He was over two thousand years old, he had an extremely violent past, he had had a beautiful wife that had been pregnant with his foal and was killed by, and she couldn't believe this, Princess Celestia and Princess Luna, then they had sent him into the abyss when he tried to avenge their deaths. She could hear the sadness in Bloody Stars voice and she realized that, even though he had tried to take over Equestria, all he really ever wanted was someone that loved him for who he was, not what his title was. He had gotten that long ago in the form of Silver Blade but then she was taken from him, along with the unnamed, unborn foal. He deserved justice in her eyes. She knew he wasn't lying to her and she believed him completely. Applejack stood and walked over to him. He looked up at her and then looked away as she lay on the ground next to him. * Bloody Star was surprised that Applejack was still with him at this point. He was sure she would have run off the moment he had ended his spell. He was even more surprised when she wrapped her foreleg around him and gave him a tender hug. He looked at her and saw the smile on her face. He couldn't help but smile back and lean into her as the sun disappeared below the horizon. He couldn't have asked for anything more from her at that moment. He turned to look at her again and found himself face to face with her. Their faces were only a few inches apart. He looked into her eyes and saw understanding and acceptance in them. Ever so slowly, the distance between their faces closed and they found themselves kissing in the Dark. An Unfriendly First MeetingThe next morning, Bloody Star woke up next to Applejack. He stared at her and a million questions soared throught his mind. Then he just smiled and banished them from his mind. He knew what had happened last night, and he was happy with the thought. Bloody smiled a peaceful smile. He thought about last night and remembered it all clearly. * He and Applejack had come in for dinner after their kiss. Neither one mentioned it at dinner, because they weren't sure what the others would think., After helping clean up the meal, everypony went to their rooms. Star felt like he had found a good place to stay, at least for now. He was about to get into the bed, when there was a knock on the door. He got up, opened the door, and was surprised to find Applejack standing in the hall. "What's up AJ?" He asked, wondering what was on her mind. "Ah-ah just wanted to talk to you is all." She replied shyly. Bloody tilted his head to one side. He smiled at her. "I think I can guess what you want to talk about. Come on in, AJ." * Applejack walked into the room and sat on the bed. "Ah want to talk about what happened earlier..." "I'm sorry, AJ. I wasn't thinking." "Ah'm not mad, Bloody. Ah actually wanted to tell you that....well Ah kinda enjoyed it." "I...I'm glad. You know what I've gone through, having seen my memories. It's just....." "It's just what, sugarcube?" "I thought that you would call me a monster for the things I had done, but you didn't. You still accepted me." "Of course Ah Accepted ya, Bloody. Everything you've shown me is in the past. Ya have a chance to get a new start here." * Bloody Star thought about that. AJ had a point, but he couldn't just lie low and have his sisters think him gone forever. "AJ you know why I can't just stay here all the time. I have to Confront my sisters. I have to let them know..." "Let them know what? That you're back, just so they can send you to the abyss again?" "No, to let them know that...that I am still grieving, but have just started healing. I want them to understand everything." * Upon hearing this, AJ wrapped her forlegs around him and hugged him. "Ah don't want to risk lossing you, Bloody. Ah won't let them send you back tou that abyss. Ah-Ah love you." Hearing this, Bloody Sat Began to cry and wraped his forelegs around AJ. "I-I love you too, AJ." Then the two of them kissed again and thus, in each others arms, they fell asleep. * Bloody Star was yanked out of his memories by a sudden kiss from AJ. He looked at her and Smiled, knowing that his life here would be better than a life on the battlefield. "Good Morning,, AJ" he said softly. "Mornin', Bloody." She replied sleepily. They shared a quick kiss. It had been a great night in Bloody Stars mind. Everythung was changing, but somehow, it was all going to be alright. * As the two ponies got out of the bed, Bloody couldn't help but smile. The sun was out and it seemed like it was gonna be another great day. "What's the plan for today, AJ?" "My friends and Ah have a pony pet playdate today." "Oh...ok. I guess you want me to stay here and help Big Mac do the Applebucking then." "Naw, Big Macintosh can handle it himself. Ah want ya to come and meet my friends. It'll be a hoot." "Alright, count me in." * Making Their way to the park where AJ and her friends usually met, the two of them talked about how they would explain his presence. They finally decided to tell the others that he was AJs Colt-friend. They both smiled at the thought. Soon they were at the park and AJs friends started arriving. They all gave him quizzical looks when they arrived, Except the Stallion that showed up with a white unicorn mare. Bloody and the other stallion stared at each other for a moment then they both looked away. Bloody soon learned everyponies names and did his best to remember them. The white unicorn was Rarity, the Purple Unicorn was Twilight, the Pink Earth Pony was Pinkie Pie, The cyan pegasus was Rainbow Dash, and The yellow Pegasus was Fluttershy. The last name he heard was the stallions, whose name was Falling Star. * "So what is your name, darling?" Asked Rarity. "My name is Bloody Star." He replied nonchalantly. Twilight gasped, got in front of her friends, and used her magic to pull AJ away from him. "I know that name." "Do you now? Do tell me, What do you know of me?" "I know EVERYTHING." "And how would you know everything about me?" "Because I was taught by Princess Celestia. I know what you did." "You were taught by Celestia? What exactly did she tell you?" "She told me that you once tried to take over Equestria and that you tried to kill her and Princess Luna." * Bloody Star became angry at this point. "What are you getting angry about?" Demanded Twilight. "I'm angry because she forgot to tell you WHY I tried to kill her. It makes sense that she wouldn't though. She is supposed to be a SAINT after all." "Princess Celestia never once lied to me. She told me you wanted to kill her just to take the throne." Bloody Star began laughing at this point, accompanied by the sound of AJ laughing. Twilight looked at AJ, wondering why she was laughing with him. AJ walked back over to Bloody and stood next to him. * "Twi' ya got to listen to Bloodys story...or rather you have to SEE it. He showed me everything and I belive him. See it for yourself." "I dont understand AJ." "You will soon, Twi'." Bloody took a single step forward and unleashed the magic that would allow the group to see his memories. He saw their reactions at the terrible things he had done. Then their faces changed to bliss as they saw his time with Silver Blade. Finally, their faces turned dark as they witnessed what Ceelstia and Luna had done to Silver Blade and the unborn foal. * Bloody released the magic after that. He sat down, unsurprised by the amount of energy he had used up. Everypony was quiet. Bloodys vision flickered and he would have collapsed if it weren't for AJ. It was Twilight that finally broke the silence. "That last part can't be the truth. Celestia and Luna would never do something so horrible." "Twi' Ah'm the element of honesty. Ah know when Ah'm being lied to. Nothing he showed us was a lie." * The group fell back into silence for a long while. AJ kissed Bloody, which naturally drew everyponys attention. "Why would you kiss, him AJ?" Asked Rainbow Dash, "He's a monster." "He's not a monster Rainbow. As for why Ah kissed him." AJ Smiled a little, "Ah kissed him cause we are Dating." Everypony in the group looked at the two of them. Their mouths fell open and they just stared. Bloody And AJ turned around and started walking back to the farm. They wanted to be alone with each other for a while Black and WhiteBloody Star awoke suddenly, breathing heavily. Shaking his head, Bloody Star got out of his bed and walked downstairs. It was still late in the evening, not even time for the moon to reach it's zenith. Bloody Star shook his head, trying to clear it. His dream had told him to travel west, to where the Wildlands and Everfree Forest converged. Bloody looked around the little farmhouse kitchen for a pen and some paper. Once he had found them, he wrote a quick goodbye to AJ, Applebloom, Granny Smith, and Big Macintosh. Taking another sheet of paper, he wrote an apology to AJ, begging her forgiveness and effectively ending their short relationship. He knew that he would probably never see them again, but he was ok with that thought. His love for AJ had caused a rift between her and her friends. Leaving was the only way to rectify this. Still, he would miss the Apple family. Over the past few months, he had become accustomed to seeing them everyday, helping with the apple harvesting, playing, and losing, games of chess with Applebloom, and just being around them. He looked back inside as he walked out the door and quietly closed it behind him. * Once the door was shut, Bloody Star used his magic to silently lock it. Then, he turned to the west and started running. The sooner he was done with this journey the better. He still wondered what the dream could have been about. It had been extremely vague, though Silver Blade had been in it so that was alright. He only regretted not being able to see AJ one last time before leaving. Bloody Star shook his head again, telling himself that if he had seen her once more, he wouldn't have been able to leave. He kept running until he came to the Everfree Forest. He slowed his running and stopped on the outskirts of the forest. Bloody Star knew the stories well enough by now, but they didn't scare him. He took a step forward and just kept going. The stories were nonsense, he had wandered throught the forest before and nothing had ever attacked him. * The forest was quieter than it usually was at night. That didn't bother Bloody Star as he walked along the dark paths, though. He enjoyed the silence. The farther away he got from Sweet Apple Acres, the easier it was to think about his dream. He didn't know what he was going to find at the end of this little journey, but he was hoping that it would help him. He shook his head as images of Silver Blade, Alive and well, with their little foal, danced in front of his eyes. No, Silver Blade and the foal were long since gone. He couldn't indulge in such wishful thinking, it would only hurt him. Walking faster, he continued his journey into the west, as the Moon slowly began it's decent towards the horizon. * Meanwhile, back at Sweet Apple Acres, AJ had woken up to get a midnight snack. She slowly and quietly made her way downstairs to the kitchen. Turning on the light, she found two things she wasn't expecting; Bloody Stars goodbye notes. She noticed one had her name on it and picked it up. Silently Reading through the note, she felt sobs building in her throat. Bloody Star had left her. He had just writen this note and gone, like it was nothing. Putting down the note, she began to cry, not even noticing the volume of her sobs. Soon, the others came down to see what all the noise was about. It wasn't long before they had all read the letters. Applebloom started crying with AJ, while Big Macintosh tried to comfort them. None of them wanted to belive that Bloody Star had just left for no reason, but his letters gave no explination, no hint as to where he would go. The only thing the letters had in common was the fact that they both said he was going away. They didn't even say for how long. The Apple Family sat there in the kitchen for what seemed like an eternity, until Applebloom fell asleep with tears running down her face and AJ could barely keep her eyes open. * Soon, the sun began rising above the Eastern horizon. Bloody Star had been walking for hours through the Everfree Forest and he was sure the Wildlands were just ahead. He walked through the bushes in his path and emerged into the Wildlands. He had made it safely through the Everfree Forest. Now all he had to do was cross the Wildlands until he finally found the place he should be. Bloody Star tried to take a step forward but his legs just buckled underneath him. Of course, he couldn't walk any farther, he had been walking all night. His eyelids slowly started to close. He was so tired. But then a strange green magic aura surrounded him and lifted him off the ground. Bloody Star tried to fight the powerful magic, but he didn't have the strength. He closed his eyes and fell asleep while being pulled along by the strange green magic. * Bloody Star awoke to find himself laying on a bed with silken sheets. He looked around, confused. He was in a large Chamber bedroom with walls that looked like a spiders web. He could heard a voice coming closer and pretended to still be asleep, which wasn't hard to do. Bloody Star heard the door to the room open and an unfamiliar scent washed over him. He stirred in his faux sleep and slowly opened his eyes. Staring down at him was a strange black creature with a long green mane and green eyes. The creature smiled and laughed. The creature was obviously a female, judging from the sound of its laugh. The Creature stopped laughing and looked at him with a fire in her eyes. "Where am I? Who, and what, are you?" Bloody Star asked the creature. * The Creature smiled. "You are inside the Hive. I am Chrysalis, Queen of the Changelings! Who Are you that sleeps on the land of the Changelings so proudly?" This time it was Bloody Star that smiled. "Chrysalis, Queen of the Changelings, I meant no disrespect if I have offended you. I go by many names, The Bloody Tide, The Warrior Prince, The Angel of Death....But you may call me Bloody Star" Bloody's New FriendBloody Star looked up at the ceiling in Chrysalis's chambers. He had been here for three days. He was almost ready to escape the Hive. There was only one problem; He didn't know his way around, so he didn't know where the exit was. Sighing, he layed back and closed his eyes. The second his eyes were closed, both Silver Blade and their Unborn Foal, appeared. They looked happy, laughing and playing in a field of emerald grass. A single tear rolled down Bloody Stars cheek. He could see them, but he could not speak to them, could not run to them. It was almost enough to drive him insane. Multiple times, he had wished he was with them, in the afterlife. No more vengence, no more anger, only laughter and love and peace. He looked at the foal, though he now looked like a healthy young colt, and racked his brain trying to remember the name they had chosen for him. The young colt had his hair and tail colors, Silver Blades eye color, and was a unicorn. Finally, he found the memory of the young colts name. He smiled slightly as he opened his mouth and said "Silver Star". * The door hinges creaked and Bloody Stars eyes flew open. Standing up, he got into a defensive stance and charged up his magic. He wasn't about to be interrogated or imprisoned again. His horn lit up and a startled cry rang out. He immediately ran over to the changeling that had opened the door and stood over it, ready to stike it down after learning where the exit was. He placed a hoof on the changeling and looked down at it. it was then that he noticed the smell. This changelings smell was different than the others. Bloody shook his head; he would worry about that later. He opened his mouth to speak, but stopped short when the changeling opened it's mouth to do just that. * "Did anyone catch the number on that Manticore?" It asked dizzily. "What are you talking about?" Bloody asked her, as it was obviously a female, while removing his hoof. "Oh, hey, just the stallion I was looking for." She said as she stood up. "Come on, we are getting the Buck out of here." "What do you mean? Don't you serve Chrysalis?" Bloody asked, feeling confused. "No time for explinations or introductions. Only time for getting out of this place. You coming or not?" "You're darn right I'm coming. Lead the way." * Sneaking through the hive with the mysterious changeling, Bloody Star was surprised that he didn't see anyother changelings. He knew nothing about their race other than they fed on love. He just followed his rescuer and kept quiet, knowing that this wasn't the time for questions. He marveled at the size of the changeling hive. If somepony tried, they could fit an exact replica of Canterlot inside. Bloody shook his head and returned his attention back to the task at hand; getting out of this place. * The two of them quietly slipped through the halls of the Hive, avoiding any and all light. As easy as it was, Bloody made up his mind and drew his magic in so he would be prepared if this turned out to be a trap. He didn't really trust this changeling and he could tell that she knew it. Regardless of the circumstances, Bloody was on a mission. He needed to escape here, and since he didn't know his way around the hive, this changeling was his best chance of finding the exit. Sighing, he continued to follow the mysterious changeling. * After what seemed like an eternity, the two of them managed to make it out of the hive. Bloody Star had never been happier to see Sunlight. He smiled, though he was exhausted from the journey through the hive. "Hey, come on!" The changeling said, "we aren't out of danger yet. We need to get out of here." "Come closer and I can teleport us a few leagues away from here." Bloody replied. "Are you sure you can? I mean you look completely spent." "I can do it. Just get over here." * The female changeling walked over and stood next to Bloody Star as his magic enveloped them. They disappeared in an instant and reappeared in a Meadow. Upon arrival, Bloody Star immediately wrapped his magic around the Changeling and locked it in place. He looked her in the eyes and smirks. * "Alright then. We are far away from the Hive. Now It's time to talk. Don't even think about trying to run. I'd catch you before you got two steps away. Understand?" He said in the most menacing voice he could manage. He waited till the Changeling nodded her head an then let her go. "You just wanna talk? OH MY FAUST! Are you for real? The first thing you do is attack me, TWICE, and you say you just want to TALK!" The Changeling yelled at him. "Yes, I just want to talk. I have two questions; Who are you and Why did you help me escape?" He asked, a bit more politely. "Oh....ok." She replied throwing him a brilliant smile. "My name is Moon Spirit and, as you can see, I'm a Changeling. I got banished from the hive by Chrysalis and I've been causing trouble for her since. That's way I helped you; to spite Chrysalis. What about you? What's your name and story?" "My name is Bloody Star and as YOU can see, I'm an Alicorn. I am the brother of Celestia and Luna, although they would rather not admit that. Along time ago, I led a war against them and was banished to the abyss for it, but not before seeing my pregnant wife laying dead on the ground, by their hooves. I swore that I would get my Revenge on them one day. Iwas following a vision when Chrysalis caught me." "Sounds like you have had a very lonely life." "It has been. I made some friends since I returned though. But it wouldn't be fair of me to ask them to help me get my revenge." "You could Probably use some more though. I'd like to be your first Changeling friend." "What? You wanna be my friend?" "Yep. You got a problem with that?" "Not at all. You're very funny, in an odd sort of way. I'd like to be your friend too." * After their chat, the two sat in the shade of the trees before deciding to go on their ways. Moon Spirit was going to visit some friends and Bloody Star was going to the old castle in the forest. The agreed to meet there later. "See you at the castle sometime, Star!" Moon Spirit said as she walked away. "See you there, Spirit! Have fun with your other friends!" Bloody Star called back, a smile on his face. He really did like her. She reminded him of Silver Blade. Author's Note WOW! This one took me forever to write. I was having a major case of writers block. This Chapter has a lot of dialogue compared to the others. It's not my best one, but I hope you all enjoyed it. The Crimson Star AppearsNight fell over the land of Equestria. As the Final rays of light disappeared from view, the ground tore itself asunder, until it formed an abyss. From the depths of the abyss, a figure rose. The abyss closed below him and he laughed. A dark laugh, one colder than ice and sharper than a blade made of diamond. The figure shook of the dirt that clung to his body to reveal his true colors. He was White as new fallen snow, with scars on his body and face, while his mane, tail and wings were colored black and silver. His deep red eyes swept over his surrondings, taking in what they could, while he listened with his blazing ears. Slowly, he began to smile and laugh. No longer was he trapped in the abyss. No, he was in the very land he had been born in, Equestria. Laughing once more, he realized that he truely was free from his prison, free to take his vengance upon those that had imprisoned him. But suddenly, his laugh dies in his throat. Everypony he had ever known was gone. He was alone in a new Equestria. He suddenly found himself wishing for a companion. Sitting down on the grass, he whispers, "I'm alone....truely alone. No sane mare will be willing to so much as look at me now. Not with the scars on my body and face." Crimson tears roll down his muzzle. He truely was an outcast now. * It wasn't long before he stopped crying. Wiping the tears of blood from his eyes, he laughed at himself. What a fool he was, even after all this time. He had forgotten himself. He was Bloody Star, Prince of Equestria. Long ago, Mares would throw themselves at him. They would line the streets just to see him walking. They would beg for his attentions and for a single look from him. Even now, with the scars and his flaming ears, he must surely garner just as much attention, if not more. Standing, Bloody Star shook the fatigue from his limbs and started walking. * Walking had always helped him relax in the past, and it still helped him now. Soon, he was calmed by the simple sounds of the night. They helped him to forget, for a time, his memories of the abyss. He started truely smile, then. Knowing he was free, Star thought about how he would procced. He began to plan after thinking everything through, and the plan made him smile wickedly. He knew what he would do. He forced his smile to change to a more warm and welcoming one as he heard the sounds of a nearby town. Perhaps he could find a place to stay there. He slowly made his way towards the sound, only to arrive on an farm. His vision flickered as a tangerine colored mare, a little yellow filly, and a large red stallion started to run towards him. The last thing he saw and heard was the mare asking him if he was lost.
AwakeningBloody Star awoke to the sound of thunder.
They wanted to be alone with each other for a while
Black and WhiteBloody Star awoke suddenly, breathing heavily. I go by many names, The Bloody Tide, The Warrior Prince, The Angel of Death....But you may call me Bloody Star"
Bloody's New FriendBloody Star looked up at the ceiling in Chrysalis's chambers.
