A Crimson Star
Bloody's New Friend
Previous ChapterBloody Star looked up at the ceiling in Chrysalis's chambers. He had been here for three days. He was almost ready to escape the Hive. There was only one problem; He didn't know his way around, so he didn't know where the exit was. Sighing, he layed back and closed his eyes. The second his eyes were closed, both Silver Blade and their Unborn Foal, appeared. They looked happy, laughing and playing in a field of emerald grass. A single tear rolled down Bloody Stars cheek. He could see them, but he could not speak to them, could not run to them. It was almost enough to drive him insane. Multiple times, he had wished he was with them, in the afterlife. No more vengence, no more anger, only laughter and love and peace. He looked at the foal, though he now looked like a healthy young colt, and racked his brain trying to remember the name they had chosen for him. The young colt had his hair and tail colors, Silver Blades eye color, and was a unicorn. Finally, he found the memory of the young colts name. He smiled slightly as he opened his mouth and said "Silver Star".

The door hinges creaked and Bloody Stars eyes flew open. Standing up, he got into a defensive stance and charged up his magic. He wasn't about to be interrogated or imprisoned again. His horn lit up and a startled cry rang out. He immediately ran over to the changeling that had opened the door and stood over it, ready to stike it down after learning where the exit was. He placed a hoof on the changeling and looked down at it. it was then that he noticed the smell. This changelings smell was different than the others. Bloody shook his head; he would worry about that later. He opened his mouth to speak, but stopped short when the changeling opened it's mouth to do just that.

"Did anyone catch the number on that Manticore?" It asked dizzily.
"What are you talking about?" Bloody asked her, as it was obviously a female, while removing his hoof.
"Oh, hey, just the stallion I was looking for." She said as she stood up. "Come on, we are getting the Buck out of here."
"What do you mean? Don't you serve Chrysalis?" Bloody asked, feeling confused.
"No time for explinations or introductions. Only time for getting out of this place. You coming or not?"
"You're darn right I'm coming. Lead the way."

Sneaking through the hive with the mysterious changeling, Bloody Star was surprised that he didn't see anyother changelings. He knew nothing about their race other than they fed on love. He just followed his rescuer and kept quiet, knowing that this wasn't the time for questions. He marveled at the size of the changeling hive. If somepony tried, they could fit an exact replica of Canterlot inside. Bloody shook his head and returned his attention back to the task at hand; getting out of this place.
*
The two of them quietly slipped through the halls of the Hive, avoiding any and all light. As easy as it was, Bloody made up his mind and drew his magic in so he would be prepared if this turned out to be a trap. He didn't really trust this changeling and he could tell that she knew it. Regardless of the circumstances, Bloody was on a mission. He needed to escape here, and since he didn't know his way around the hive, this changeling was his best chance of finding the exit. Sighing, he continued to follow the mysterious changeling.

After what seemed like an eternity, the two of them managed to make it out of the hive. Bloody Star had never been happier to see Sunlight. He smiled, though he was exhausted from the journey through the hive.
"Hey, come on!" The changeling said, "we aren't out of danger yet. We need to get out of here."
"Come closer and I can teleport us a few leagues away from here." Bloody replied.
"Are you sure you can? I mean you look completely spent."
"I can do it. Just get over here."
*
The female changeling walked over and stood next to Bloody Star as his magic enveloped them. They disappeared in an instant and reappeared in a Meadow. Upon arrival, Bloody Star immediately wrapped his magic around the Changeling and locked it in place. He looked her in the eyes and smirks.

"Alright then. We are far away from the Hive. Now It's time to talk. Don't even think about trying to run. I'd catch you before you got two steps away. Understand?" He said in the most menacing voice he could manage. He waited till the Changeling nodded her head an then let her go.
"You just wanna talk? OH MY FAUST! Are you for real? The first thing you do is attack me, TWICE, and you say you just want to TALK!" The Changeling yelled at him.
"Yes, I just want to talk. I have two questions; Who are you and Why did you help me escape?" He asked, a bit more politely.
"Oh....ok." She replied throwing him a brilliant smile. "My name is Moon Spirit and, as you can see, I'm a Changeling. I got banished from the hive by Chrysalis and I've been causing trouble for her since. That's way I helped you; to spite Chrysalis. What about you? What's your name and story?"
"My name is Bloody Star and as YOU can see, I'm an Alicorn. I am the brother of Celestia and Luna, although they would rather not admit that. Along time ago, I led a war against them and was banished to the abyss for it, but not before seeing my pregnant wife laying dead on the ground, by their hooves. I swore that I would get my Revenge on them one day. Iwas following a vision when Chrysalis caught me."
"Sounds like you have had a very lonely life."
"It has been. I made some friends since I returned though. But it wouldn't be fair of me to ask them to help me get my revenge."
"You could Probably use some more though. I'd like to be your first Changeling friend."
"What? You wanna be my friend?"
"Yep. You got a problem with that?"
"Not at all. You're very funny, in an odd sort of way. I'd like to be your friend too."

After their chat, the two sat in the shade of the trees before deciding to go on their ways. Moon Spirit was going to visit some friends and Bloody Star was going to the old castle in the forest. The agreed to meet there later.
"See you at the castle sometime, Star!" Moon Spirit said as she walked away.
"See you there, Spirit! Have fun with your other friends!" Bloody Star called back, a smile on his face. He really did like her. She reminded him of Silver Blade.
Author's Note
WOW! This one took me forever to write. I was having a major case of writers block. This Chapter has a lot of dialogue compared to the others. It's not my best one, but I hope you all enjoyed it.
