10 years. That's how long it's been. That's how long since I had nightmares of such magnitude as to make me physically ill when I woke up in the mornings. I thought I had put it away for good, but no. My bloody past will haunt me until the day I die. What happened back then should not matter now, but... Nothing I do can erase the memories that reside in the deepest recesses of my mind. Except for one thing. But perhaps it will work. Maybe now is the time to put pen to paper, and rid myself of the ghosts of my past, so I may live and enjoy my future.

This is a major re-write of the original story, and I'm really looking for criticism on this as it is my first real work of fiction. If this gets enough views and favourites I may even make a sequel!
