I will never forget the day it happened. The day my mother died. My mother was kind. She cared for me. She was THERE for me. But she wouldnt be for much longer. The day she died wasn't dark and stormy. It was rainbows and lollypops, until we hit a semi truck at seventy miles per hour. My mom was killed instantly, but we hit the semi a certain way and i was spared.
After my mom died I was ok, but depressed. But my dad, my dad was a drunkard, and was useless without somebody to take care of him. My mother was the only person that CARED enough to look after him. So after she died my dad actually had to get up every once in a great while. He ended up working at our local Walmart. But he wasnt doing so good. He was probably better off sitting at home.
Those next few years, my dad developed cancer and eventually died. So then it was just me. Me and my cat. I bought her a week after my mom died. It was just a comfort thing. And she was company. I decided to call her Amy after my great aunt Amy. But even with the cat, I was lonely all the time and started to suffer from mild depression. That is, untill i met HER.
I had started to go shopping at little stored and small yardsales. My cat had gotten hit by a car and all that i had now was the tv. So I went to a little animal shelter. A small one. most of the fish had died and the dogs weren't looking so well. But in a little dog crate, was a little grey lump, and it appeared to be sleeping. I asked the manager what it was, but he just shrugged. So i payed him fifty bucks to take the dog crate and the sleeping grey animal that was inside.
When I got home, It was still sleeping. So I went to go get it some water. when i came back, I sat the water down on the floor and opened the door. Mistake number one.
As soon as I opened the door, I saw a glimps of what seemed to be a small horse. Pony might be the correct term. The pony was about the height of my waist. I walked after it.
I searchec the entire house for the pony, but no luck. I gave up and went to bed. When I got to my bedroom, I found the pony on my bed. Then I got my first real look at it.
The pony was still grey, but there seemed to be a picture of bubbles on the flank of the pony. But that wasn't the most suprising thing about it. It had WINGS. Then I fainted.
