“Rainbow Dash, I am so sorry!” Spike yelled covering his eyes with his claws. A blush was spreading across his face slowly. “I didn’t see anything, I swear.” The next thing he knew was Rainbow Dash yelling, ‘Get out!’, in his face. He stumbled towards the doorway and onto her balcony. Once the door slammed shut behind him, he uncovered his eyes.

Spike sighed, “This did not go as planned. I should leave her a note. I hope she’s not too mad at me.” He got out a notebook, tore a piece of paper from it, and jotted down a quick note. The note said, ‘Rainbow Dash, meet me at the ravine--Spike’, it was a short note, but Spike didn’t want to stay there any longer. Just in case an angry mare bucked him off of her landing.

He slid the note through the mail slot and dived off, five meters off of the ground, he spread his wings and made his way to the ravine. It was a relatively short flight, if you knew the shortcuts. He silently thanked Rainbow Dash for teaching him the fastest route there.

Rainbow Dash was sitting in her living room thinking the recent events over, when she heard her mail slot opening and closing.

Huh, the mail isn’t supposed to get delivered until tomorrow. Must be a priority package. She thought to herself. She got up, finished drying herself off, and went to retrieve the mail. When she picked up the mail, she froze. The letter was from Spike, he wanted to meet her at the ravine.

He probably just wants to apologize more. Well, can’t keep him waiting. She thought to herself. Her stomach chose that time to argue.

“Well, I guess that he can wait until after lunch. He won’t mind.” She stated.

She made her way towards her fridge to fix herself a daisy sandwich. Unfortunately, all she had was some moldy lettuce. And that wouldn’t be good for her. After all, she had to keep up her appearances.

“Guess i’ll just have to stop by the market, make lunch, and then go see Spike. Tank! You’re in charge of watching the house!” She yelled up the stairs. A very faint noise could be heard in response. With that, Rainbow Dash flew out of her window, heading for the Ponyville Market.

The Ponyville market was crowded with street vendors, customers, and the occasional beggar. Rainbow Dash didn’t mind this though, she was used to it. That’s what happens if you live in Ponyville as long as she has. She quickly made her way towards Apple Jack’s stall.

“Hey, Apple Jack!” She hollered.

“Well howdy, Rainbow Dash. What brings you here? Ah’ was sure ya’ll would be passed out from that party last night. It sure was loud enough for me t’hear.” Apple Jack said, grinning.

“Ugh, shut up, Apple Jack. I don’t want to hear it.” Rainbow Dash snorted.

“Well, somepony’s in a bad mood. What’s wrong, sugarcube?” Apple Jack asked.

Rainbow Dash sighed. “Promise not to tell anypony?” Apple Jack nodded. “Okay, I was taking a shower this morning after Soarin’, Spitfire, and Fleetfoot left. As I was getting out to dry off, my doorbell rings. I tell them that i’m coming, but they didn’t hear me the first time. I walked out into my living room to get a clean towel, when the door opens and they step in.”

Apple Jack gasped. “So, they were able to see your...well, you know.” She said blushing.

“Yeah, but I don’t think that they actually saw anything. I’m actually glad for that.” Rainbow Dash chuckled.

Apple Jack coughed. “So?” She asked. Rainbow Dash just looked up at her confused. “Did you buck ‘em out of your house? And tell me who it was, I want a piece of ‘em.” She said, slamming her hooves on the dirt road.

“Well, you see...i-it was...S-Spike. He was the one who came over today. He wants to meet me at the ravine, probably to apologize, again.”

Apple Jack’s eyes widened in surprise. “H-he was the one who opened your door?” Rainbow Dash just nodded. “ So, when are you gonna meet him?”

Rainbow Dash looked up. “Why do you care?” She asked.

“Ah’ care, because he told everypony to head over to the park after lunch. And it’s almost after lunch. So you better hurry. For his sake and everypony else’s.” Apple Jack chuckled. “You better go now, Rainbow Dash. But not before you take a few apples, on the house.” She said tossing a few apples to the hovering pegasus.

“Thanks, Apple Jack. I’ll head over there right now.” She said as she zoomed of towards the ravine.

Spike sat on the edge of the ravine. He had been waiting there for a little over twenty minutes, and he was starting to get impatient. “Rainbow Dash, where are you?” He whispered to himself.

“Um, Spike? I’m over here.” She said.

Hearing her voice made Spike jump a little bit, nearly making fall off of the edge. “Dash, do not do that to me. You know how far down this thing is? Like, one kajillion feet!” He scolded her.

“Spike, even I know that it’s not that high up. Now, what did you want me to come here for?” She asked, although, she already knew what the answer would be.

Spike’s cheeks reddened. He sighed heavily. “I just wanted to say that i’m sorry about earlier today. I didn’t mean to walk in on you, while you were still wet.” Noticing how that sounded, he quickly clamped both of his claws over his mouth. “He,he. That didn’t come out like it was supposed to.” He chuckled awkwardly.

Rainbow Dash coughed, catching his attention. “Look, Spike. It’s alright. Although, I swear I said that I was coming, and I know that I didn’t say come in.” She smiled at him knowingly.

His blush deepened. “Oh, how did you know?” He asked.

“I didn’t.” She stated. “Until now.” She smiled warmly at him. Her gaze shifted to his emerald eyes. She couldn’t resist staring at them.

Spike took notice of this and coughed loudly, breaking her attention away from his eyes. “Okay, just so this doesn’t get any more awkward, shall we head on over to the park?” He asked.

“Y-yeah, let’s go.” She said, her cheeks turning a deep shade of red. They both got up, and spread their wings. As they took off to the park, neither of them noticed the shadowy figure silently studying the cyan mare. Neither did they notice the sniper rifle he had, which was equipped with armor piercing bullets. He smiled to himself, he knew where his target would be for a short period of time. He just needed to get into position and take her out.
