This story requires you to know the basic plot of Mann VS Machine though I will try and show it in this story as much as possible. However most important of all please enjoy my first ever TF2 and MLP fan fiction collab and share you views) The old man still couldn’t believe it was finally happening as he saw the bomb go off and saw the mushroom cloud emit from the other side of the battle field. He had done it...He had finally finished off those pesky team members who had made his life a misery. He looked around the dusty battlefield at the hundreds of smashed, broken and dead robots. “Oh well….Easily replaceable.” Thought Gray Mann with a brief smile, he started walking towards the sight of the explosion, almost with a spring in his step as he looked around at the mangled bodies of robot pyros who had finally caught the Spy. He laughed as he saw the body of the sniper lying face down with a kitchen knife in his back, he chortled as he saw the body of the medic with a thumb sized bullet in his head, he continued to be amused by the dead poses of the once unbeatable team until he reached the ruins of what was a proud skyscraper of Mann. Co HQ number 9/10. The old man however raised an eyebrow as he saw the still breathing figure of the engineer being dragged towards him by two metal heavies who held him tightly, keeping his arms behind his back. “Well Mr Conagher. Looks like your sentries weren’t good enough this time where they?” The Engineer put his head down, his hard hat almost fell off he muttered under his breath angrily. “Well……Mmmmmm…Take him back to the ship, he is going to tell us where the last Mann Co base is….aren’t you Mr Conagher.” The Engineer did answer, but as he was dragged away Gray Mann swore he saw something, he was pretty sure he saw a grin spread like a disease on his face. Gray Mann shook his head. Why would he be grinning, he was about to be tortured and killed, how could he possibly turn this event in his favour. He decided to savour the moment, strolling around the battle field and to savour this victory. As soon as he was placed inside the Robot mother ship he activated the sapper that rested in his hands which the robots had not believed they needed to take from him. “And that is why your robots will never replace flesh and blood.” As he tore the wires out from the back of the heavies, he looked around at the space, all the weapons of his comrades where stacked in a pile. “Excellent,” he thought. “Everything is going according to plan.” He soon collected his confiscated teleporter kit and set up another teleporter, however unlike usual he put in the code SE312EQUESTRIA. Soon the teleporter was spinning as normal making the red portal that would normal transport men from one side of the battlefield to the other. He then took out a long wire and connected it to the main battery of the mother ship which was helpfully placed next to him in the form of a fuse box. A time appeared on the blades of the teleporter: 1:00 secs to overload.  Almost on cue Gray Mann swaggered in holding a slim knife, presumably for the Engineers torture, however he dropped the knife in shock from what he was seeing: 0:50 secs to overload. He screamed at him, barely registering what was going on. “WHAT ARE YOU DOING? THAT’S THE SHIPS MAIN BATTERY! THIS WHOLE SHIP WILL GO UP!” 0:40 secs to overload. The engineer grinned triumphantly, adoring Gray Mann’s fear. “Nope….it’s worse than that…We are going to go where no man has gone before!” 0:30 secs to overload. Gray Mann was panicking now. “What are you talking about? This thing is going to explode and were both going to die!” 0:20 secs to overload. The engineer was laughing now. “No we won’t did you not learn anything about teleporters when they are given huge amounts of energy.” 0:10 secs to overload. The engineer grinned again at Mann Co, the air was now almost shaking with the energy as the teleporter reached overload. “They take you places.” At that moment the teleporter overloaded and a huge wave of energy emitted from it consuming the whole mother ship, separating however the Engineer and the weapons from the mother ship. Then engineer now saw himself and the weapons compacted into a huge purple ball of energy, he looked in front of him and saw himself speeding towards a planet, like a meteor ready for impact, he looked to the side and saw the mother ship in a similar fashion, however it was impacting much further away from him, he closed his eyes bracing for impact. //-------------------------------------------------------// Meet the ponies! //-------------------------------------------------------// Meet the ponies! The engineer opened his eyes slowly, around him were trees, all around him was nothing but trees, however it appeared that his landing had made an impact as it had made a clearing in the forest, however it had not made a crater. The engineer looked down and to his surprise he saw that he had hooves, he looked at his flank and saw that painted on it was a wrench, though he had been told by Hale that he should expect this it was still mind blowing at the time. He looked again at his orange horse hair admiring the colour but then shook his head, trying to focus on the task at hand. He looked around at the pile of weapons in front of him. He listed all of them, the mini gun, two mediguns, a butterfly knife, a sniper rifle, a disguise kit, invisibility watch, a rocket launcher, the demoman’s grenade launcher and sticky kit, a baseball bat and a flame thrower. Everything was there, at the bottom of each weapon, the hilt for the baseball bat was a small metal electrical box. The engineer connected all the boxes with wire in his tool box; he then carefully stuffed each wire into a radio and carefully turned the frequency up on the radio. Suddenly a chorus of voices emerged from it. “Nein! NOT LIKE THIS!” “I’m not being killed by these wee lasses!” “GET AWAY FROM ME YOU DIRTY SPY!” “SACRE BLEU! HOW DID YOU KNOW I WAS A SPY?” “MMMMPPPPHHHHH” The engineer looked surprised; he actually didn’t believe the soul box would work. “Howdy partners…you there.” “YES…JA! DA! MMMMPPP!” Replied the team mates loudly. “Alright…so part 1 worked as planned….Now Medic…Tell me part II.” There was a cough as everyone went quite. “Ja….You see Saxton came here to acquire more hats to keep up with demand Ja? Vell he appeared that he thought he might need a new team here just like us so he tagged several of the local horses here…..Each matched to use in some way….In your tool box you should have the tracker…..Oh and err…if you get the chance…could you get some of their spleens…The anatomy is WUNDERBAR!” “Oh my god deutschbag shut up!” As the voices bickered the engineer opened the tool box with his mouth, pulling out the radar scanner, he looked at the radar map of the area, on it his location was labelled as Everfree, and there was a dot about a mile away, then a cluster of dots where west of his location, about 6 miles away. “Time for me to round up some ponies.” Said the Engineer un enthusiastically. “WOW DID YOU SEE THAT SPIKE!” said the purple unicorn enthusiastically as she watched from the library window. “Yes yeah.” Said the dragon predicting what she would ask next. “And yes we do have the book on the nature of stars.” Twilight giggled slightly smiling at her companion. “Well get it out? Does it say anything about shooting stars?” Spike carefully took the book from the book case and placing it on the lectern for Twilight to read.  She used her magic to flick through the pages and suddenly stopped on about the last page. “Here…..Shooting stars are normal according to this but when one impacts the surface……It signals visitors from another dimension! How many did you see Spike?” “About two I think.” “Two! Two visitors from another dimension….I should write to the princess at once!” “Twilight.” Spike said, careful not to insult her. “Don’t you think the princess would have realised already?” Twilight suddenly blushed and almost stuttered. “Well err………..Well I guess she would of yes.” “Exactly….Twilight stop worrying and just relax…..I am sure the princess will know what to do.” “Yeah,” Twilight said admitting defeat. “I hope so anyway.” Gray Mann looked around at his mother ship, it was barely scratched at all and he smiled. “Excellent….I’m breathing and the ship is in perfect condition…now to find out where the hell I am…..” At that moment he looked down and saw that instead of a hand he had a snow white hoof, he felt that instead of his metal, robotic spine he had a now metal mane he smiled at the originality of it. “Mmmm the equestrian dimension….My spies told me about this….” His eyes then widened. “How am I going to get back and finish my work?” Then he realised something almost more worrying. “MY ROBOTS!” He quickly ran up the ramp of the mother ship to see what had happened to his metal horde…..They had not been damaged or destroyed but changed. There were more of them and they were all…Ponies….He looked around and grinned at his increased hordes. He looked at a horde of Miss Cheerlies and thought what he might do with the battalion of Derpys then he was surprised to see only one version of six of the steel ponies. Gray Mann observed and studied them, he checked the power level and grinned at what he saw, they had almost quadruple the power and strength of any of the robots he had ever built. Gray Mann’s head was soon flooded with ideas and prospects. Being stuck in another dimension could not be too bad. In a world without fire arms his robots could easily take over this land. Maybe even give him the materials to make more robots and get back home so he could finish what he started. Gray Mann rubbed his hooves together grinning. “Watch out world….The metal menace approaches!” The Engineer wandered around aimlessly, his mind was racing with ideas and questions. Are the laws of physics the same here…Does magic affect bullet speed, how am I going to convince 10 ponies to follow and believe me that they need to fight a robot army and how am I supposed to train them! Then suddenly an idea hit him….Maybe he didn’t need to convince them at all…all he needed to do was get them to the guns and the rest would play out on its own. The question was how he was going to get them all to the guns. However as he walked out of the forest he saw an owl perch on a nearby tree. He looked at the owl closely, watching it intently; slowly he trotted over to it and whispered. “Howdy partner….say you wouldn’t happen to know ten ponies that might be really important right?” The owl cooed and gave him a look as if to say. “Yes I do.” Then engineer grinned, he now felt as if this pony was going to make his life a lot easier. “Okay.” He smiled gently as he took the radar map of his back; he pressed the screen and on it popped up the options: Turn off, options or list. He prodded list. On the list it carefully listed the names, description of each of the ponies.  Then engineer grinned, how much easier could it get. “Say you wouldn’t be able to tell some ponies to come to this place I know of, would you partner?” The owl looked at him again as if to say. “I don’t see why not...Who needs to be told what.” The engineer smiled and started his list. “Well first the Appl…” The Apples were working hard at the farm, bucking the trees and collecting all the apples in the baskets like they had done for years. Applejack and Big Macintosh paused briefly to rest and to observe the fruits of their labours. “That’s about twenty baskets Big mac….Do you think we can finish the other thirty five. “Eyup.” His sister chuckled. “You just love to work don’t cha Big mac?” “Eyup.” Suddenly a small bird perched on an apple tree next to the two holding in its mouth a small note. Applejack looked surprised. “Owlicious? What in tarnation are you doing here?” The Owl landed on Applejack’s back and placed the note on her back and immediately flew away. Applejack turned her head and picked up the note with her mouth then unwrapped it placing it on the ground. “Dear Applejack and Big Macintosh You are invited to a dinner in…” “Your honour,” read Rarity as she measured a stallion’s legs as she read. “At Everfree forest clearing….” Repeated Spike and Twilight. “There will be cake and punch for all attendees” read Doctor Stable as he skimmed through the note while he gave a pony some pain killers. “You must be there at 8pm sharpish.” Said Fluttershy sheepishly. “Autographs will be asked of all of you.” Read and excited Rainbow Dash as she grinned at the idea of showing her skills. “Please come on time.” Finished Zecora and she poured another powder into her cauldron. “Being late would be indeed a crime.” “PARTY!” Squealed Pinkie Pie. “I CAN’T WAIT!” The team was on root.
