Chapters Part 1: That first Bump in the Head
Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash are exiting the Coliseum of Cloudsdale
"Did'nt I tell you Fluttershy... THE WONDERBOLTS ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
"Oh, umm, yes, they truly were great, in fact, I liked them so much that I-I umm, I think I'm gonna go tellthe animals! They"ll love hearing about them"
Nevertheless, Rainbow was to occupied watching the Wonderbolts sign papers and taking pictures with their "biggest fans". So while Fluttershy was still trying to think of something to say, Rainbow Dash started to fly up to were The Wonderbolts were to try ang get something out of them.
"Oh well, at least she's doing something besides sleeping all day" commented Fluttershy before turning and heading towards her home.
"Finally I'm first in line!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now I just have to take a deep breath and smile as big as I can..."
"OhmygoshOhmygoshOhmygoshOhmygosh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks for the pics you guys" said Rainbow as she trotted away
"You're welcome, a-and I-I hope you come see u-us again soon" said Soarin.
"Oh, you bet I will, Goodbye" said RD as she was finally out of sight.
It was around sundown and Spitfire and Soarin were at the only ones at the Coliseum, cleaning after everybody else had left.
"Watcha'doin Soarin?"
"Oh nothing" said Soarin with a blush across his face "Just, umm, you know, cleaning"
"What's with you Soarin? I mean, ever since we took that picture with that blue... Wait, are you..."
"Nonononononononononooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I would never be..."
"Oh boy, YOU ARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
"Spitfire, I'm BEGGING YOU, please don't tell her."
"Oh don't worry, I won't" as she said this, she quickly turned around and said "See you later hot stuff " as she shook her flanks and started to fly away.
"I'm DOOMED."
"Rainbow Dash!!! I've told y'all I'm very proud of you fer meet'n The Wondirbolts fer like the tween'th time, but sugarcube, please stop"
"I'm with you AJ" replied Spike "I mean, it's a great experience and all, but I'm alredy late for curfue, so please, STOP TALKING ABOUT IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
"Spike, please don't scream" ordered Twilight "I mean, you're both right, but Rainbow please, I think that's enough for tonight"
"But I... But I"
"Fer Celestia's Mane Dash, please stop talking" said applejack tring to control herself.
"Rainbow, please, I think you should leave before everything gets out of hand" said Twilight as most cassually as she could.
Rainbow Dash then, with head as low to the ground as anyone could see, headed towards the door before screaming "You'll never understand what I fell for these guys since neither of you are pegasai"
"Rainbow, wait!!!, I din't mean it like..."
*BLAM*
The door slams shut just as Rainbow Dash exits the Library.
"I'm sorry" said Twilight as a tear went down her cheek
"I'm sorry sugarcube"
"Whatever, wake me up in a cupple of hours."
"They... They'll never understand. The'll see, I'll get into the team no matter WHAT!!!!!!!!!!"
And with this, Rainbow Dash started to fly away towards her house.
When she reached Cloudsdale, she first headed towards the Coliseum, to remember tose sweet couple of seconds she had with The Wonderbolts. Then she looked at the picture somepony took and noticed that Soarin was putting his face really close to her's and that there was a blush running through his face, then she looked carefully at Spitfire whose eye seemed to be twitching, but at the same time, she looked angry.
That's weird thought Rainbow Dash Why would Spitfire be angry at somepony while Soarin is blushing for some reason... or... someone... SOMEPONY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
"Oh...my...gosh... Could he really be? No! He could'nt! Or... Could he?!?!?!?!"
"Yes sweetie, he is"
"Spit Fire?"
"Mhjm."
"Umm, is he really...?"
"Yes" *facehoof* "He is"
"Really!?!?!?!?"
"Yes, yes, yes!!!!!!!!!! That is why he has a blush in his face! That is why my ear is twitching! And that is why i'm here right now!"
"Oh Spitfire, I'm sorry, I did'nt know you felt that way about..."
"NO,no oh Heavens no. I'm not the romantic type. I just saw you heading towards here and I thought I should let you know, and hehe, besides that, I just wanted to wish you good luck."
"Why?"
"Well... I was in Sugarcube Corner and I saw Mrs. Cake talking to him, and when I asked her, she told him on wich cloud you lived in"
"Oh...my...gosh"
"Hehe...just don't tell..."
"THANKSSPITFIREBUTITHINKIGOTTAGOKNOWBYE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
It was almost midnight and we find ourselves in front of Rainbow Dash's house were you can see Soarin galloping in circles dressed in his best suit.
"Am I ready to talk to her?... Am I ready to face her ALONE?...AM I EVEN IN THE RIGHT PLACE?!?!?!?! Oh no, here she comes... thinkthinkthinkthinkthink, HIDE!!!!!!!"
"That's weird, he's not here" she said as she was landing on the cloud "Umm, oh, maybe his hiding"
As she said this, she went to look on the back of the house, but she started her way by the right hoof.
"Where is she?" said Soarin as he looked from the back of the house but looking to the left side of the house "She was just there a second ago... Maybe she went inside, in that case, I think I'll leave"
After saying this, Soarin decided that, so he could remember the house, he would take the long way around.
"Maybe he did'nt come after all. It's pretty dark over here, maybe I should..."
*BANG*
"Ouch, I think I've got quite the bump in my head"
"Yeahhh, me too. I don't know how I'm gonna be able to be coordinated on the next show..."
"Tell me about it. It's so hard to fly when you've got the biggest headache caused by a bump or something."
"I know, right?"
"He,yeah...wait a second...WHAT SHOW?!?!?!?!?!"
"Huh? Oh, I umm, I-I, IGOTTAGO!!!"
*SWISH*
"Somepony has just bumped me and he or she (although I'm preety sure it was a he becouse his voice was very deep ) just flew off withought another. WHAT IN CELESTIA'S MANE JUST HAPPENED?
After what had just happened, Dash stood there, staring to where that mysterious stallion (as she thought he/she was) flew off. She stood thre for at least three minutes, analyzing what had just happened. When she finally moved, she only moved to the edge of the cloud, to see if she could follow that mysterious stallion, only to find that there was no trace of him.
With a face of frustration, and with a slight blush appearing right in the middle of her face, she headed toward her home and remembered what Rarity had told her a long time a go: "In a time of stress, take a bath for succes." She then decided to take a long relaxing shower, even if it wasn't 20% more cooler.
She rarely filed the tub as full as it could possibly get, but she really needed to relax and analyze. Before putting herself in the tub, she added some bubbles, lighted some candles and put them around the tub, and finally, she turned off the bathroom light before soaking herself entirely in the bubble filled tub.
"You know what Dash," murmured Dash to herself, "I think that this is at least 10% more cooler... yeah... I hope this isn't tu Fru-fru."
Apparently, Dash had one poster of The Wonderbolts in each room. In this room, the poster was right in front of the tub, and Dash appeared to be having a staredown with the poster. With only her snout and eyes out of the water, still with the slight blush she had on her face, growing a deeper pinkish-red as she remembered what Spitfire had said earlier:
"Oh...my...gosh... Could he really be? No! He could'nt! Or... Could he?!?!?!?!"
"Yes sweetie, he is"
"Spitfire?"
"Mhjm."
"Umm, is he really...?"
"Yes" *facehoof* "He is"
"Really!?!?!?!?"
"Yes, yes, yes!!!!!!!!!! That is why he has a blush in his face! That is why my ear is twitching! And that is why i'm here right now!"
"Oh Spitfire, I'm sorry, I did'nt know you felt that way about..."

"It was Soarin!!!!!!!" said Rainbow Dash as she jumped right out of the tub, turning of every single candle except one, which was literally right under the poster, creating an enourmos shadow making the poster look dark and mysterious.
"Ohmygoshohmygoshohmygoshohmygoshohmygoshohmygoshohmygosh... OH MY GOSH!!!!" she said as she quickly ran right in front of the poster, with only the candle separating her from it before she had crashed right into it. "It was you..." she said with quite the grin. "IT WAS YOU!!!!!! I can't believe it, this is actually happening... TO ME?!?!?!?!?! But wait...what am I going to do?" she said as she stepped back from the poster and started passing up and down the room with a worried look on her face. "I don't know where he lives, I don't know when he'll come back, I don't even know how he feels for me."
"Think Soarin, think." said Soarin as he landed on his cloud. "Oh by Celestia's Mane, I can't think like this. I need some PROFESSIONAL HELP ."
Soarin then entered his house and headed upstairs and straight to his room "Guess I wasted these ol' good suit for nothing" he said as he stored it in the closet and then looked at his alarm wich signaled it was 1:30 a.m. "I guess tomorrow is another day."
He then laid on his bed, closed slowly and quickly fell into a "deep" sleep.
*opens his eyes, looks at the watch and closes them* *opens his eyes, looks at the watch and closes them* *opens his eyes, looks at the watch: 1:31 a.m. and closes them*
"GHAH"
"GHAH" reapeted Rainbow Dash, "I can't think in a time like this...I need some PROFESSIONAL HELP ... and I know just the unicorn that can help me... Rarity."
We find ourselves in front of The Boutique early the next morning, so early in fact that the sun hasn't even been raised.
*knock knock*
"Five more minutes Sweetie Bell" said Rarity more asleep than awake.
*knock knock knock*
"Quit it Sweetie Bell, I need my beauty sleep"
*knock knock knock knock knock knock knock knock knock knock knock knock*
"QUIT IT!!!!!!!!!!"
...
"Finally"
...
*BLAM*
"What in Celestia's Mane is going on here!?!?!?!" she said as she jumped out of the bed
"Ugh!! That was NOT some of my best landings."
*gasp* "Rainbow Dash!!!! Don't you know that it's rude to crash into somepony's room at 3:30 in the morning?!?!?!?!"
"Rarity!!!!!" said Rainbow dash as she knocked Rarity into the floor "You've got to help me, this is an e-mer-mer-mi" said Rainbow Dash but was quickly interrupted by Rarity's hoof.
"If it's realy an emergency, then I'm all ears, but if it's not... you'll see" said Rarity as she put her hoof out of Dash's mouth.
"Al right" said Dash as she helped Rarity stand on her hoofs "It all started when..."

...
*gasp* "Then why din't you wake me up earlier, if thats the case then let Rarity guide you for the romance you seek. First off, let's hoofle him up So we can know every single detail about him."
"But I-" she was interrupted by Rarity's hoof again "Don't you dare neglet anything I'll do... you go ahead down staris and start the computer while i take these curlurs of me."
With a nod from Rainbow Dash, Rarity took her hoof from Rainbow Dash's mouth and she quickly went downstaairs without saying another word. Rarity then went over to her mirror and used her magic to remove her curlurs and to prepare herself with some blush here and there, she applyed mascara and then brushed her mane, for this was gonna be one ling day.
"I can't believe this is finally happening to rainbow Dash, and with a Wonderblt, oh what a joy!!!!!!!!!" she then quicly went downstairs to her computer and typed in Soarin's name "What we need to do first now is look up where he lives, his favorite color, what he likes in a mare..."
"Great... Well, at least I can sleep for the next three hours or so..." thought Dash as she slowly closed her eyes and fell into a deep slep.

"Rainbow Dash!!! What in Celestia's Mane were you doing? sleeping while I 'gave' you a complete session oon how to get boys 101... I simply cannot believe this..."
"You were speaking to many Fru-fru stuff and I just thought I should get some shut eye while you thought of my whole dating plan!!!!"
"Darling, darling, darling, darling... darling. I cannot plan you're whole relationship plan, I can only give you the facts on how you can hit on him and all of that stuff. The whole relationship is based on how the couple wants to move forward and it's based on their personalities to match them."
"OK, OK, give me a quick lesson on what you already 'told me'."
"This is going to be harder than I thought."
"I really should write a book on how to hook up two first timers". *giggle*
*yawn* "OK, it's umm, (looks at clock) 7:00 a.m. and I've got no idea of what I should do know. Well, I should at least get ready for the day."
As he drowsily got out of his bed, he went straight to the bathroom, wich was to the left of his bed, and he brushed his teeth, flossed, mouthwashed and combed his hair. He then went downstairs, and since he was in no mood of coocking, he just prepared himself a bowl hoof flakes, added some milk and ate it in his living room while watching mare flicks yo at least try to get familiar with a mare's emotions.
After finishing his breakfast, he cleaned the dish and headed straight outside. As he closed and locked his front door, he kept thinking that he had forgotten to do something "Oh well, I'll remember later."
Soarin headed straight to ponyville to try to find the PROFESSIONAL HELP he needed.
"Now remember Rainbow dear, try not to be to forward on your first actuall conversation, and also remember to..."
"To keep some personal stuff to myself so he can."
"So you really were listening" *giggle* As Rarity said this, there was a slight blush running across Rainbow's face.
"Yeah yeah. So, when do you think..."
"Oh my... "
"What?"
"Look, there he is!!!!!"
They were right next to Sugarcube Corner when rarity said this, Rainbow's eyes then gazed upon his lightning with wings cutie-mark and started to try and hide behind Rarity.
"Where should I go, ummm, maybe I can go to a filly-fooler bar and try to..." he could'nt finish his sentence, for he saw what appeared to be two mares were fighting over something "Why would they be pushing each oth-..." As he took a closer look, he noticed that one of the mares was a white unicorn with purple eyes while the other was a blue pegasus with deep pink eyes. It's HER!!!!!!!!! OK, OK, I should probably go talk to her."
While he started to walk over to were the mares were, there started to appear a blush in his face, and he then started to feel a sudden chill and he started to twich all over his body "It's only the nerves, its only the nerves..."
"Rarity!!!!!! Stop pushing me!!!!!!!!!!!"
"Shush dear, here he is" as she said this, she stopped pushing Rainbow when they were right in fornt of Sugarcube Corner.
Face to face, they did'nt know what to say, so Soarin broke the ice.
"We ha-have'nt p-p-properly introduced our-ourselves. My name is Soarin."
"My name is Rainbow Dash."
...
"So, it's still pretty early, wanna go get some real breakfats" he said as he offered his hoof.
"... Yes" she said as she offered her hoof.
Since ponie can't walk hoof to hoof, Dash just slightly leaned over Soarin a little bit, when suddenly, right in font of them, and out of nowhere:
"SURPRISE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Becouse of this surprise, Soarin started to run towards the nearest bathroom.
"That's weird, I wonder where he went" said Pinkie Pie as she stood next to Rainbow. Rainbow then, feeling guilty trotted over to the front door of the bathroom.
In the bathroom.
"Awwww" he said "I did'nt go to the bathroom in the morning"
As he exited the bathroom, Rainbow was right in front of him, this caused Soarin to blush.
"So, about our breakfast, do you still wanna go?"
*giggle* "Yes"
"It's a date."
With this, Dash blushed, and they headed both towards their Date.
"Not you're smoothest first time aproach to a mare Soarin, but still a slightly more interesting one. I hope that this relationship (if it even is one) will last a while."
"So Dash, were shall I take you on this wonderfull morning?"
"Well, it's still pretty earlie, so not much of my favorite food stores are open... Hey!!!! I know one place that sell great muffins, and I think they even sell pie."
"You had me at pie."
"So, where exactly is this place?"
"Right in front of your snout" as she said this, Soarin looked up and noticed a familiar building with cake decor "Sugarcube Corner."
"Oh no, isn't this were that pink pony lives... umm, Pinkie Pie... I hope I dont have an accident again."
"Then what are we waiting for" *gulp* "let's go in."
As soarin pushes the door so Rainbow can enter first, he smells the aroma of a fresh baked apple pie, he's favorite. He then hurries in and tries to locate were that sweet smell is coming from.
"Shoot, it's still in the kitchen."
"What was that, Soarin?"
"Oh, nothing, hehe nothing at all"
"I should start thinking in my mind what i'm gonna say before I actually say it..."
"Hey soarin!!!" said Dash as she interrupted Soarin's thoughts "Let's sit over here by the window, but before that, order something for breakfast."
"Sure, what do you want?"
"Surprise me."
As she said this, that slight blush appeared across Soarin's face again. When he could controled his blush, he went over to the front desk and saw Mrs. Cake counting the dollars, wich he thought was quite difficult for a normal earth pony or pegasus since they had no magic to hold the bills with.
"Oh my," said Mrs. Cake as she noticed Soarin coming over to her "what is one of The Wonderbolts doing in my simple little bakery?"
"Oh nothing muchm you know, just" he looks at Rainbow Dash wich is at a table for two ponies, staring at the moring sun "hanging."
As he says this last word he stills remains looking to rainbow Das. Mrs. Cake notices this and lets a slight giggle escape from her mouth. "Oh, young love."
"Huh?" says Soarin as he returns his attention to Mrs. Cake "What was that?"
"Oh, I did'nt say anything dearie. So, what do you want?"
"Umm, let's see. I'll have that apple pie with a chocolate milkshake please."
"Here, on the house, fore you and you're... friend ."
A slight blush ran through his face "He, umm, OK."
"Enjoy" said Mrs. Cake as she turned around, picked up the money and left the room, leaving Rainbow Dash and Soarin alone.
"Jei Tash, flook what I'f bout" said Soarin as he carried the apple pie in his mouth, gently putting it on the table.
"I thought you might buy that.. no worrys, I like it too"
"That's nice to know."
...
"Isn't it beutiful?" said Rainbow Dash as she put her hoof at the window, staring endlesly at the horizon "The afternoon sun is one of the most beautifull ones of the whole day. Don't you think so?" As she said this, and looked straight into Soarin's eyes with a shine, he could tell that this would be a good one.
"Yeaaah- wait... what time is it?" said Soarin urgently
Dash then withdrew her hoof from the window and looked down at the table, "Oh, it's umm, around 1:30 p.m. Why?" she then asked confused
"Holly horse apples, I gotta go!!!!!!" said Soarin as he stood up from the table in a very quick way, knocking down the apple pie to the floor and making a mess, and then started to trot over to the door. When he opened it, he looked back to the blue pegasus that was cleaning up the mess he had made and turned around, he took the pegasus by the hoof, causing her to drop the pie again, creating an even bigger mess. "I'm sorry that I have to leave you without notice, it's just that," *sigh* "I have forgotten the practice that I had for this afternoon. I will make it up to you, how about tonight? I'll pick you up at your place around... 10?"
"I'm sorry. I have something to do tonight and I can't re-schedule." she then forced herself a grin, but you could tell by her puffy red eyes that she wanted to cry "How about tomorrow?"
"All right then" he kisses her cheek "I'm sorry though" and he left without another word.
Dash started to clean up again, when Pinkie Pie tripped over her, letting go of the fresh baked cupcackes she had, wich fell directly on Dash, creating an even bigger mess.
"I'm sososososososooooooooooooo sorry Rainbow"
"You know what?" she said as she stood up and licking her hoof just to taste some of the cupckes "I don't work here, so... YOU CLEAN THIS UP" and just like that she flew straight out off there, heading for her home to get cleaned up.
