Okay, you can do this, Faith, you can talk to him! Faith thought to herself as she walked past many ponies on the way to Tagalong’s house. She had had a crush on him for seven years, since the first day they met. She finally decided to tell him about her feelings for him, but was really apprehensive about how it would turn out. She was worried that Tagalong would reject her, or even worse, make fun of her for her crush. As she walked closer to the door, her bravery slowly faded and she began to have second thoughts.

“Sure, come in,” he said, opening the door wider and moving aside. Faith walked in quickly and sat down on his sofa. Tagalong closed the front door and joined her on the couch. He leaned his head back and sighed, then turned his attention to Faith. “Good thing you came over, I was getting bored with no one to talk to,” he said with a friendly smile. Faith smiled back to him, thinking that if she told him, he might actually accept her love. After all, Tagalong wasn’t seeing anypony at the time.
Faith looked around his house, admiring all the family photos and furnishings. She was trying her best to avoid talking to him about her love.
“Anyways, didn’t you want to talk to me about something?” Tagalong asked her. Faith’s heart beat out of control as her emotions raced. She longed to tell him, but didn’t want to be rejected. She could see that he was really curious at this point. She took a deep breath and looked him in his eyes.
“Um, no, never mind. I’d better leave,” Faith said with haste in her voice. She got off of the couch as Tagalong stood up.
“No, wait, you can stay,” he said. Faith walked right into him, knocking them both down to the floor, Faith being on top if him. When they both opened their eyes, their lips were touching. Faith and Tagalong both blushed and pulled away from their “kiss”. They looked at each other, neither saying a word. Faith then started to cry; she had embarrassed herself in front of Tagalong and ruined her chance with him. “Hey, please don’t cry, Faith, it was an accident”, Tagalong said, trying to ease the situation.
Faith calmed down a bit, wiping off a few tears, and then looked at Tagalong.
“I have a crush on you,” she told him. She looked away from him expecting the worst. Tagalong was surprised then he smiled.
“Really?” he asked.
“Yes,” she replied, still looking away from him. Tagalong put his arms around her neck, bringing her head back down to his and kissed her, closing his eyes and enjoying the moment. Faith blushed very intensely, but didn’t fight his advances and lied on his chest, kissing him back. Their tongues met and rubbed against each other.
After a few moments, they both pulled back and Faith used her power of emotional reading to see his feelings. Tagalong was emanating a bright pink light, which was a sure sign of love. He hadn’t noticed that his wings were fully extended, as well as Faith’s, a signal of pent up sexual tension in a Pegasus. Faith lied on Tagalong’s chest and listened to his heartbeat, the steady thumps synchronizing with her own.
